Great concept ! I agree with some of the comments on here, especially having access to a smaller or a built-in oscilloscope somewhere. Obviously rotation would be a great add-on as well, but I would also find it totally acceptable if it was a design choice for more "challenge". The board feels a bit claustrophobic sometimes, so maybe a little bit more space would make the game feel more breathable. Anyway, great idea and execution, congrats for the game !

Amazing! Ball is life. Hat is very chic. Loved the assets, the writing, the story, the ball, the humour, the sounds, the music, the sweetness and the alien design and nipples... congrats ! Very nice job.

Belle idée ! And what a name. Kind of reminded me of one old flash game I used to play where you ended up smashing your tv for whatever reason. I read the comments and agree that the punches felt a bit random but that didn't bother me that much. Congrats and bravo :)

Love the overall humour, as well as the designs and animations. Really good difficulty balance, even though the very first enemy I encountered (red cap guy) could reach me and hit me once even though I felt like I reacted quickly. Bonus point for the boss and the end credits. Nice rythm. Congrats for the game! It was fun to play, i was hooked.

Une bonne note d'humour pour ce thème. C'est cool aussi de voir un jeu en full python. Bravo!

Congrats for the audio haha the spaceship is kind of hard to drive but I had fun chasing around the asteroids for a while.

Amazing idea! The lack of audio is indeed a little bit sad but I totally understand. I also feel like if the car felt a little bit less heaevy/soapy the game would be even more fun. Anyway, your game idea have a lot of potential I think :) If you plan to iterate on it further, a multiplayer version would be amazing. As someone pointed out in the comments, messing around with the other drivers is a fun mechanic, and you could invest some time trying out some pvp mechanics (just like in this pvp golf game, "super battle golf").

Good luck on the next steps and congrats for making this game during the jam ! Hope you had fun.

Love the idea! Lovely art as well. Multiple boats at the same time would have been a great challenge. Some sound effects to indicate success in guiding the boats to their harbor would have been a nice addition also. I felt like the game was a little bit too easy and the end a little bit abrupt. Congrats for making this fun design idea in the limited amount of time we had !

I saw "star wars galaxies" as a ref, made me laugh and decided to give the game a try :) The scanner idea works well for a resources farming game and suits the theme! The game felt a little bit too slow for a game jam imo, and the upgrades felt a little bit redundant. Maybe I didn't play long enough but I would have been way more hooked with more diversity and less re-used mechanics.

One of the few things that would have made the game more interesting in my opinion (while still being feasible in a game jam format): - add randomness in the ores values, maybe have a board at the sell shop that would show you the current price for each ore ? Maybe the market would evolve when you sell too much of a specific ore, or just could change over fixed periods of time, forcing the player to come back to the shop at a regular rate. - add a turbo for the motojet (as an upgrade ?), something that would make you go faster in straight lines while reducing manoeuvrability) - have a map (this one can be more tricky to do in time) - the scanner could give more info. If i'm not mistaken, the pitch change in sound is pure random, while it could have been a nice indicator of how close we are to a mineral deposit - have 2 or 3 additional motojets for sale ! It would be a nice motivation, i'd instantly feel like "ooooh what does this one do ?" - have a auto-mining robot of some kind that I could drop and forget for a while.

Also I think the UI isn't usable with a controller, which would have been nice.

Once again, I played for 10min or so, so if I missed mechanics I'm sorry :) Anyway, congrats for succeeding in making a functionnal game in this jam!

Great pixel art ! Pleasantly surprise that a jam game took the time to do some voice acting. Also loved the overall mood :)
