Five speed buffs in, I realized I made a horrible mistake. Genuinely fun! Those bosses are tough!
Good game, neat concept! I found combat a bit difficult, but managed to hit a run where I was super fast and had a bow.
Nice work!
VERY COOL
I might be a bit biased but pretty sure this is the best game ever made
Pretty fun. Loved the variety of drops and enemy AI. Aiming was a bit difficult with ranged weapons while dodging at high speed but workable.
Very fun, and liked how quickly chaotic the game can get with all its powerups
It's nice game!
Deffinatly interesting, I feel that the combat is a bit too hard from the get go, couldn't really get too far without dying. However I would really like to see where this could go.
Cool game! I liked that the power up effects were quite strong, so it's very clear what you picked up. I played a run until the boss then died, at first I could pick up weapons, but after a while it seems I could not anymore, so I died fighting with my basic sword
My suggestions for the next jam would be:
- Graphics: increase contrast to make the game more readable (for example, make the background a dark brown so that the player is more clearly visible. - Audio: use sfxr to generate basic sound effects and trigger them after every meaningful interaction, it's quick to do and adds more to the immersion than a soundtrack (imo).
Overall, a nice and fun entry!
I had a lot of fun with this! I had a few goes to get to the boss but never had a good enough set of powerups by the time i got there. It was interesting to decide to go to more rooms but risk getting cut off. The boss was cool too, nice abilities! I think i'll go back and have one more go... good job!
The game is very fun and frenetic! Pretty good roguelike game.
Great game!
I don't think take a lot of speed buff is a good idea but, I did what I did. Once I dropped the bow everything became easier but the boss... I beat him in like 5 minutes, it was hard to aim being "Flash" ahahahah
In general I enjoyed the game, nice concept. Good job!
This game is awesome! I love that the background music sounds like Blink-182! Had fun with it, very cool!
It was fun af, tho i got stuck in my level in the first runs, great job
That was fun gameplay! The loud boss sound nearly killed me ^^ i like the generated map feature
nice
Wow, this is awesome game! The graphics and audio might not be that great, but the gameplay was actually fun! I can see the enormous potential for this game with just better 3d models and actual audio! And the changing map was actually pretty impressive! Even it looks and sounds like Runescape v0.1, I loved every minute of playing this XD Keep up the good work and I wish you continue development of this game! :)
This was awesome! A good randomly generated dungeon is tough to do in a weekend and it was well done. That fire staff effect was amazing. Well done!
Interesting gameplay! God job!
Nice map generator, really funny animation, a good 3D rogue like ;D ! Well played !
Really impressed with how this all comes together. I love the feeling of things collapsing as I'm trying to gather XP to fight the boss. The design for the overall progression is something I really admire and need some more practice with.
The idea is very cool and the core gameplay loop is fun, this game just needs a little bit more polish to be super addictive. Apart from what everyone else said, I would suggest that when you die to enemies, restart and re-enter the room, the enemies stay the same instead of being generated randomly again. That way you can learn from your death(s) in true roguelike fashion. Anyway, fire stick is awesome.
I don't see 3d character animation in LD games very often, that's pretty cool.
nice game! You can get into a good flow with this, unfortunately I'm not cut out to tangle with goblins :(
