Dragonia Siege by Euler Moises 2026-05-03T10:44:06Z

It was a magical experience :) The dialogue was funny, and the overall story was also interesting and it kept me playing. I really wanted to save the kingdom of Dragonia. The music also fits the game very well, and one detail I noticed, which I think added a lot and it stood out for me, is the fact that when you entered houses the music would sort of get muffled, so it feels like a fanfare is playing outside, just for you. The graphics also fit the game very well, and they add to the overall magic.

I like how you discover things about the world through the dialogue, and how the dialogue has riddles that you have to figure out. And the story snippets that you would get after each playthrough are also cool.

Rouge Light by Kaijiro 2026-05-08T12:42:31Z

this is a great idea and I think the implementation is good. I like how in each day new challenges are introduced. and the fact that you are rewarded with points, which you can then use to get useful items is also a great addition. I reached the final level, and you really feel the tension with managing all the traffic.

one thing that was unclear was that sometimes the traffic lights would not react at all to my clicks. I wasn't sure why this was happening, and I think that maybe making the lights react in some way to clicking on them would help a bit. like if they would shake or a sound would play, or somehow show why they aren't reacting would help players better understand what is going on.

I like the emoji icons that would appear when drivers would get angry, and I think that the sound design is also good, and the music fits the game. I hope you will expand on the idea and release new levels!

Cableman [a rhythm game] by rucksack 2026-05-03T10:10:37Z

Very fun game, and the song is super catchy! I think the song is really well-produced and fits the game very well, as you can easily tell when you have to tap and move to the beat. Whenever you fail a level you can tell exactly what went wrong, and how you have to improve in order to progress. The levels are also diverse and fun, with new challenges being introduced at a nice pace (nice tempo? :D). I like how dynamic everything is, and how everything on screen reacts to the music. Great job! I am waiting for the Cableman album and for new levels :)

The art style is so unique and colorful, and the overall designs are also very fun. Add to that the song you have selected, which fits the game very well, and you have an overall chill and engaging gameplay experience. It was fun playing your game, and the dodging and shooting was fun throughout my playthrough!

@lllarso thank you for the feedback! :) yes, I totally agree, the game could really use some music (I don't know know at the moment how to create music in Pico-8 - would love to learn at one point), so I had to release the game without music. and yes, more buttons to press or pressing the buttons in different ways could have added a bit more to the gameplay. thank you for the feedback, I will take these points into consideration.

thank you again and I am happy that you enjoyed the game!

@euler-moises thank you for your feedback and for playing and enjoying my game! and I also love Pico8 games!

And yes, I agree, I think I could work a bit more on the difficulty progression, because I also found that after a short while a lot of enemies would spawn.

Thank you again!

@mibi88 thank you for playing the game and for your feedback! I'm glad you liked it!

@okkolobr thank you for your feedback and for playing my game! initially I wanted to add even more effects, but unfortunately I didn't quite manage to do that, so it's something that I will have to consider if I expand on the game.

World of Gates by Mibi88 2026-05-08T12:25:23Z

I like the idea and I think there is a lot of potential here (pun intended :) ) I like the minimalist design, and I think it works really well with the game. The tools you have at your disposal are clear and you know what they do (not sure if zoom in and zoom out logic is reversed, but this was not a big issue), but I do agree with one of your previous comments that mentioned that adding tooltips could help a bit with making things clearer. I hope you will expand the game and add more levels! Awesome idea and great job! And I think it should be taken into consideration the fact that you researched the topic AND (gate) created the game with this subject at the same time!

Arc-Lighter by Hs-2300 2026-05-08T20:55:30Z

The game has an awesome atmosphere! The graphics, sounds and music work really well together, and the gameplay really gives you a sense of urgency when you explore the space station.

I like how the screen dims slowly to tell the player that they are out of the range of the router and that they are in danger, and the fact that the timer gives you just enough time to explore more of the room that is out of range leads to some very tense situations.

Also, I like how the objects are floating around the various rooms. I think this also adds to the atmosphere. Great job! I hope you will expand on the idea and the adventures will continue!

can u talk? by The Big Lost 2026-05-08T21:25:31Z

very cool atmosphere! I like the concept and I think the execution was really good. as another commenter said, I also think that resetting the platforms when the player respawns would be a good idea. at one point I wasn't sure if the platforms were going to return :)

the movement was fluid, and the music and sounds also fit the game very well. congrats!

Deadly Cliffs by Michl Bayer 2026-05-03T09:58:13Z

This is such a cool idea and, as another commenter pointed out, it is an amazing execution of this idea! There are so many little details that add a lot to the atmosphere, and the sound design is awesome! The metallic ring of the footsteps and the overall sound design is really immersive. And the graphics are also awesome. And I like that you can upgrade your lighthouse, and I like how you implemented the upgrade system in the world around you. The controls are fun and also add to the atmosphere of the game. It's cool how you physically control the light. And the reactions to crashing the ships are also funny!
