The fact that you made this game in 14 hours is mindblowing, really !
It was a fun experience and it got me a few tries to manage the vent and the blue neutrons, that was hella challenging ! Congrats !

Very satisfying game to play! Doing all I can to make the power output go up is very addicting, wonderful work!!
Really cool concept, I've literally never seen a game like this before, it's like bizzaro-nuclear-pong.
The graphics are great and the sounds are just enough to sell it, I really love the chaotic feeling and the tone is on point, awesome stuff.
My only complaint is it's a little unclear what the lose condition is, I think it's temperature? But I was never sure when I was about to blow up, I think a 'health bar' of sorts could help make it clear when you're on the edge of blowing.
I also think it gets a bit too hard to recover when it gets too hot, maybe a limited number of abilities that can quickly cool the atom when it's overloading could be nice as a hail mary panic button.
Overall, excellent game!
All right, I'm pretty new to reviewing, so lets give this a try (also, excuse me if anything I say sounds dumb or wrong for that reason). I decided I wouldn't post a review until I managed to break 4 billion kilowatt hours, and then managed to break 7 somehow! So here goes.
This one takes a little getting used to. You learn pretty quickly that you have to be gentle with your mouse movements or you'll get overwhelmed immediately. But hey, it fits the theme perfectly, and it's pretty fun to master. It really feels like an unstable device that will go haywire if mistreated even slightly. Perfectly intense and forces you to concentrate; just the way I like it.
For innovation. Well I suppose bouncing coloured shapes around is nothing new if you want to be really strict, but I can't say I've ever heard of any other game that's focused on maintaining a reactor core.
For sound, I guess a more dramatic explosion when the core overheats wouldn't go amiss, but then again it might be jarring compared to the other sounds. Speaking of, they all fit well, and don't get irritating, which is always good. As for humour and mood; I don't really know what to put here? Outside of fast epic fails I didn't really find myself laughing and I didn't really feel any emotion besides intensity. So, 2.5?
Overall, a game well worth the time invested in it.
The art style and the design of the reactor core are really nice! The sound design is well done too. I had fun playing it. Good job!
Very cool small game!
The rules are simple enough so you get them after a few tries. The gameplay is very simple yet engaging. The feedbacks (audio / screenshake / visuals) are great!
Thanks for the game
I really appreciate the shaking effect when the reactor starting to melt. The art and the sound do the work well. Good job on this game dude.
Great work, really fun and stress inducing.
All around great work. Win or lose, watching the particles bounce around is always enjoyable.
Nicely implemented! Simple, but effective. And it gets pretty unstable very quickly, which is the perfect challenge. I thought about fission in my brainstorming, but I stopped at "the chain reactions would just balloon ... where's the game?" Well congratulations, you found it! I really enjoyed this. I like to think of all the neutrinos and anti-neutrinos as kids arguing at a daycare. "Hey hey, you. Quiet down! Stop fighting ARRGH."
By the way, nice effect on the start button. Really draws attention to it! I would seriously play this on mobile.
Fun and simple, really good! The visuals and sound felt really polished. Good entry!
Really interesting game. The audio and graphics is good.
Very enjoyable gameplay mechanics and self explanatory concept packet with cool design&sound. Shake feel very good and stressful in a good way. I like chaos before:boom:
Simple and polished. I definitely like this. The only problem: game is too short 2-3 minutes are maximum I played it. You nailed the theme.
Cool concept with a good implementation. I found it rather satisfying to set off chain reactions even though the usually led to a meltdown.
pretty nice game. slightly repetitive but for what it is i give it a thumbs up
9.3 billion kWh!! That one felt like a good run. I really like playing original ideas like these and trying to figure out what's going on, so this was quite fun. The game fits the theme very well - a few times the core was about to explode, camera shaking like crazy, the area is full of "hot" particles, and I just had to spam click around the code and pray that particles would cancel out and let the cold ones reach the middle. Very hectic, unstable vibe for sure!
Other people have mentioned things that have stood out to me, like the screen shake, the rapid escalation that, in one sense is hard to get a grasp of and could be a negative, particularly when it reaches a point where it was clear there was no return for me and I was just waving my cursor around essentially waiting for the score screen to show up because I knew it was over with; though this could just be my lack of skill talking lol.
One thing I would like to highlight is that I thought the interplay between cooling and heating was great! At first I was focusing only on keeping the antineutrinos away, because it was so cool that if they hit I would instantly lose, so I kind of taught myself that that alone was the goal. But as soon as things ramped up I learned in real time what the real hook of the game was, and suddenly found myself desperately hoping for one of those haha. Great job!
wasn't prepared for how quickly things escalate, but that's not at all a bad thing! Really like how fast-paced the chain reactions feel!
This game is awesome and it would work super well on a phone!
The control and visual is actually satisfying haha and also really fit the unstable theme, nice job!
I'm pretty sure that now I'm a scientist, right? This game looks super cute and polished and I love the screen shake as things get more and more unstable.
I was terrible at this game haha, but I understand HOW in theory to keep it stable, I just couldn't do it xD Overall, well done in the time you had!!
This was pretty great! I love the look of the game, and the core mechanic was simple and fun.
really loved thge effects you added to the game. maybe a little too much shake, but very effective. it was an interesting game and overall worked very well. thanks for making it.
