Hi! we just updated
The changing of the character model and the pickups as you age was a nice touch!
Thanks for the feedback! We focused on this narrative, I'm glad you liked it.
Got a score of 55. Could easily play for hours so I stopped when I still could. Great effort well done.
A super simple and sweet little game. Well done.
simple good runner! :smirk_cat:
Thank you guys!
Nice game although the concept and execution are a bit lacking. Since there is no control about what the user picks up or doesn't, the gameplay boils down to just jumping over obstacles (and hence the "twist" element is removed). Perhaps adding multiple lanes like a game such as Subway Surfers would add a much needed layer of depth and complexity to the game. Graphics are nice though! Not sure if you made it yourself but I really like the music.
The game is pretty punishing, but narrative-wise it does something pretty nice. :) Losing life on jumping is a clever mechanic, I think it could be enhanced by giving some more options to player (as there is no need to jump when there are no obstacles, and jumping is the only way of avoiding those). It's a fun adaptation of the original short!
@arihan10 Thank you so much for the excellent feedback! We tried to create everything from scratch with a focus on storytelling, but your suggestions are extremely valuable!
Very good, I really like The Sound and Music
Gameplay is very simple, the infinite runner genre is ok, but even within that feels like it could have done with a bit more of a unique spin on it to make the gameplay feel more interesting, or maybe even just more juicy to help cover the gameplay simplicity. The art is really cute though, and the ageing as you go along is a nice touch. Music is a fun catchy tune, probably the highlight for me.
Very hard to dodge boxes - rigid colliders. It could be better to dicrease life points - very very extended death animation. Liked the sounds, outstanding visual! Covered theme nice. Awesome runner, thank you for submission
Cute graphics :) Good music/sfx
Had some problems with life replenisher and I ran out of life because of this and not the evil boxes or my skills.
The early stage is more difficult than the later ones.
Polished entry.
The graphics were amazing with the concept of aging through the game. The music was also very proper for a sidescrolling game. The gameplay itself felt, lacking, as there was really nothing I could do to delay the inevitable (which admittedly is part of the point of inevitable..).
Overall something to make the gameplay itself more engaging would have been appreciated, but overall this is very well done. Thank you. =)
