Fun game! The red/green cycles feel so long, might be better with shorter cycle times(5 seconds?) more chaotic more frequent stops. Final level was rough trying to find that last button but we made it! Love the character art and the music. The walkers are really cool too.

mrtroy 2026-04-21 04:32

You were suppose to do things to distract the walkers with the physics objects. BUT... Game jam time 😅. I'm not done with this, after voting is done I'm going to give this the full two weeks treatment.

glem-fumeno 2026-04-21 04:41

Cool game, nice graphics but like @snowdrama said - the red definitely feels too long. Distractions would add a whole another depth to this game

isaac-hisey 2026-04-21 04:50

The bad signal have been stopped. Well done, love to see 3D web games. Good interpretation and execution. Music was very good, enjoyed the character designs!

richjbaron 2026-04-21 04:52

Love the music and vibrant colors!

onedozenbagels 2026-04-21 04:57

Very nice game. Agree with other reviewers that the red was too long, which is an easy fix. I also found the controls a bit hard to use, especially the e button to activate, which meant I had to shift my fingers off of WASD.

head-priestess-ari 2026-04-21 05:16

I love how the movement was calibrated, felt really good. 15sec for waiting was a bit too much and sometimes the crawly thingies didn't trigger when I jumped while it was red. The font was really hard to read at places. It was really fun tho! Love the graphics.

mrtroy 2026-04-21 05:18

@glem-fumeno It was originally 30 seconds, and you fired a gun at the signal to shorten the time, but that got in the way of the Walkers spotting you. I had plans for all kinds of crazy physics.

mrtroy 2026-04-21 05:18

@isaac-hisey Thanks for playing! I tried to go with a darker tone than my normal games, but then... I started making it cute anyway. 😒

mrtroy 2026-04-21 05:19

@richjbaron thanks! I pulled my buddy in for this one, hopefully he had fun making it.

mrtroy 2026-04-21 05:21

@onedozenbagels Strangely enough I have an easier time playing WASDE, but I made it work with arrow keys as a just in case. That way with AZERTY keyboards the E is in the same place. I'll take this feedback and figure out how to improve.

clymm 2026-04-21 13:37

Nice! I like the art style and movement feels cool, cool concept!

caelestial 2026-04-24 11:07

Great concept, finished the game <3 Also forgot that the character can jump during the last level xD

technicalitycreations 2026-04-25 08:31

Cool game, I loved the audio. My only critique would be that there’s too much waiting and nothing you can really do… I’d definitely shorten the cycle time of the lights

mrtroy 2026-04-25 14:53

@head-priestess-ari I feel like I have to update this game once voting is done. I wanted to have SO many more levels, but lost time trying to make the red light mechanic perfect. The hurry up and wait part should've been random instead of 15 seconds every time. It pulled away momentum.

mrtroy 2026-04-25 14:54

@caelestial There were suppose to be more reasons to actually jump. Game jams though.

mrtroy 2026-04-25 14:55

@technicalitycreations When I update this, I'm definitely going to take that in to account.

bereg 2026-04-26 21:25

Nice visuals and fluid animation. The soundtrack should be on Spotify immediately! A solid entry, given the timeframe. I think it’s worth continuing to work on after the jam.

commanderstitch 2026-04-27 00:22

Felt synth and retro. Nice jumping technique. That thing murdered me many a times until i figured out it was redlight/greenlinght lololololololo9oloolloloooloz

philstrahl 2026-04-27 01:02

Not gonna lie: I never thought the CGA palette could work this well! Loved the character design and the frantic arena-puzzler vibe (that's a thing now) and the reactive music was kicking ass 🤘! Thanks for being in the stream today 😊 here's the VOD: https://youtu.be/HGwzSkcD2uU

anszwa 2026-04-27 14:10

Great game! A really good execution of the concept. The controls feel good, and the gameplay loop is fun.

I immediately felt that a shorter red/green interval could work really well, or even making it slightly random so the player has to stay alert at all times.

Its also great to hear that you want to keep working on it after the rating phase. I think it has a lot of potential if you continue expanding it.

redphoenix2412 2026-04-27 14:16

That's a cool way to approach the topic! I thought the red phase was a little too long, but other than that, it was really fun!

digital-bacon 2026-04-29 12:28

Thought this looked interesting when I watched Phil Strahl play it on his stream last weekend.

Nice little game! Neat graphics, very responsive controls and clear UI. Love the frustration when you have to stop moving when a signal is just out of reach!

Excellent work -- very well done!

wizard 2026-05-01 20:38

Cool concept and implementation/interpretation of the theme. I havent seen a red light/green light style game yet and this was done well. I the animations and were smooth and audio was good too. the only thing I would suggest is a way of finding the terminals easier, atm you basically just run across the map and hope to find one which can be annoying, especially paired with the timer system, maybe a pulse system to that could give you a hint when the red light it one or something to that affect perhaps. But, other than that I really enjoyed your game and cant wait to see where it goes from here.

venomousmouse 2026-05-02 10:39

Overall nice visuals and music. Good mechanic and puzzles. Nice job.

mrtroy 2026-05-02 15:58

@anszwa Thanks for giving it a shot. I tend to not have jumping in my games cause I always feel I'm so bad at coding it. So it means a lot saying "The controls feel good."

mrtroy 2026-05-02 15:59

@redphoenix2412 It's waaayyy too long. I'm working on another version where I shortened the time, and it's a lot more fun without that "Hurry up and wait" feeling.

mrtroy 2026-05-02 16:01

@wizard I was fighting with myself on adding arrows pointing to where the terminals are, during development I felt like that would make the short levels too short. I really like the idea of a pulse, thank you for that! That would really bring the theme of "Signal" home.

mrtroy 2026-05-02 16:02

@venomousmouse Thank you. I'm trying to get better as an artist, while not using the same style.

memoloop 2026-05-03 16:53

I like this little 3d game. Good music and the player is cute!

rubixnoob13 2026-05-05 21:40

This game was one of the better ones I've played so far. The music was pretty awesome and fit the game really well! I feel like the jump is a little floaty, but other than that I have nothing to complain about, other than I want more levels

Great job!
