Maybe Arthur should have tried harder to be Merlin.
I beat the game. I was surprised, you managed to put a lot in this game. I was so sad when *spoilers* Lancelot and Arthur die.
I can always appreciate when people go for 3D in the game jams - it can be tough in the little time frame we get.
And this game works quite well. The core gameplay loop is surprisingly fun and it was fun to try different strategies with upgrades. Getting a lot of mana regen was the meta for me that carried me.
If there would be something I would hope to be added (during the jam), that would be sound effects. Those would really boost the feeling of battle. I would also like that my units and enemy units would be easier to distinguish. Orcs are easy to spot but humans units are not.
Overall, great job in this short jam time to get a game like this running!
@nash @austin-sierra @agrimes Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it! I almost gave up halfway through. It was planned to add more spells and monsters but i did what i could :P
I love at the start of each level how the enemies and allies just explode outward.
@gnome4 I was about to fix it, but when it made me lol'ed I just left it as that :D
I think I play more like Merlin (constantly moving and firing fireballs like crazy), plus it feels like replayability could be upgraded
I had fun. i was able to beat it. GG
Ah yes even Merlin forgets to shoot his fireballs sometimes

The game was actually pretty great, though I did delay the inevitable, I became a wizard with a fireball machine gun!
Decent game. The fireball effects were fun. Some sound effects would go a long way though. Its a bit too hard to tell your mercenaries apart from the human enemies. Also a crosshair would have been useful to help with aiming, though with high mana regen aiming becomes irrelevant. The Linux build works, but doesn't grab the mouse so you can't turn very far.
On very dated PC linux version doesn't work (HD Graphics 3000) - no idea why. Windows version starts and works, but I don't see fonts. Sorry have to skip, unless maybe You could make an HTML version?
Graphic is adorable! I really like your game! I saved Camelot - it's the best!
Wow amazing work you did in this short amount of time! I really like the idea and the graphics. Well done.
Cool idea and graphics. UI and using the fireball need some work. Great job!
Linux version worked for me, very nice resource management and the effects look nice as well. Great concept and great execution. Nice job!
