LD23 — Tiny World

Just My Immagination by Proch 2012-04-23T11:51:00

Hi man ! This game it's pretty ! And water physics is very very good !! You would have a future ;)

LD38 — A Small World

Entropy by SleepyStudios 2017-05-12T16:44:49Z

Needs an endgame, but the rest is amazing for 48 hours in a MULTIPLAYER game. Wouldn't mind seeing something like this again but with a little more direction.

I was also worried when I saw the plant land on the ground, but lovely and chill. Great atmosphere!

I really really enjoyed this game! I wasn't expecting to because of the graphics, but the gameplay is so solid and really fun. I didn't feel like the game cheated me at any point and the levels were challenging, but not frustratingly difficult. Sound is great, really falls into the background in a lovely way which sets the ton. Nice one!

Monster Keeper by yetanother 2020-04-20T18:45:32Z

Simple and to the point! A bit difficult at times and for the first four levels I didn't realise there was a reverse to the car. Bonus points for using Phaser which is notoriously brutal. Nice one!

Night Keeper by SleepyStudios 2020-04-22T08:23:59Z

Great game, very fleshed out and polished. Amazing to see an entire leaderboard built with it. Good sound design, fun to play with a natural difficulty curve. Does hurt my hand a tiny bit on a trackpad but I think that says more about my trackpad than anything else. Really well done!

Keep it A.I.ive by Taffaz 2020-04-20T19:27:14Z

Nice one on introducing the concepts gently, the depth confused me at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. It's good work though very well fleshed out.

Keep Coron Alive by Qux 2020-04-20T20:32:13Z

The graphics are what they are, but I'm sure you know this. But what struck me about this game was the humour and if there was an educational mark I'd give you that, this is an incredible visual aid for lockdown and I think if it was fleshed out a tiny bit with just those three levels I think its a game that could actually do some good in the world. The controls were a little tough, clicking on the smiley faces was very tight and spreading the disease was tough but I think it fits the vibe. Really good job, a hidden jem I think for the humour.

The Legend of Error by rogual 2021-10-07T18:16:47Z

Found it more enjoyable than I thought! Impressive for the time given. I had trouble with the combat and the snake gave me a ton of hassle but I think I found that running away was easier than fighting it.

Under the Weather by SleepyStudios 2021-10-07T18:46:15Z

Classic Sleep Studios difficulty. I'm terrible at platforming so I have no idea if there is anything after level three. Art was lovely, the backgrounds are gorgeous and the music (*chefs kiss gesture*). That jazzy number on level 2 was awesome. Controls were tight, enjoyable and the gameplay was (mostly) fair. The roll mechanic is a nice addition which puts a little twist on the platforming (I was hesitant to jump from the edges from too many times where I rolled into the void).

I did have one little bug: I wasn't able to recreate it but I think I might have been hit by something as I was falling? But I ended up at the bottom of the map I think, but I had to restart the game since I couldn't get back to the top. I did continue afterwards but as I said, I'm terrible at platforming.

I also wasn't super keen on the lightning effect, maybe it was meant to blind me but if it wasn't then I think making it a little transparent would be helpful.
