Quite difficult, but it followed the theme a lot xD

Yes, @hiko-game , it was made on GMS2, with lots of love! It was my first submission to Ludum Dare and we are very happy with all the feedback so far! Really thank you guys, we are very touched!
I really appreciate your feedback. @badpiggy ! I agree with all your points, but the truth is we didn't have much time to keep polishing... We focused on implementing as many features as possible in the short time we had (cutscenes, boss, win/loss screens, etc), and fix any bugs that appeared!
And curiosity: There is a way to regain life in the boss, which is to successfully dodge all the bullets from the turrets. By doing this, a heart appears and recover your health. =)
I missed the option to play on the keyboard, and it took me a while to realize that the bottom bar was the ship's life (despite having in the tutorial, haha). By the way, I liked the way the game only starts after you "try" the tutorial completely. A very peaceful and enjoyable game!
I liked the look and feel you created. I found the controls a little too rigid. Wouldn't it be better to make it more fluid? But anyway, congratulations on the submission! It looks great!
The game takes a long time to get difficult and challenging. It spends a lot of time being tedious, but manages to be quite fun in the end. I liked it!
I accidentally pressed ESC, and the game closed. But I got far. I got pretty caught up in your game, it's pretty cool to play. Congratulations on the submission.
I liked the plot twist at the end hahaha quite creative.
I procrastinated for hours on your game hahaah very cool!
It took me a while to get used to the controls, but I liked them. The details lacked a little more care, like a background music, but the sound effects in general were pretty good. The screen transition was also very nice. It is a very solid game for a Jam, congratulations.
I could only play by thinking: Why am I collecting flags of Japan? lol
This little game is addictive. hahaha
I liked it a lot! But it is more geared towards being a multiplayer game, right? I think you should continue the development. It certainly could become a great game!
The idea is interesting. Congratulations.
I liked it a lot, but I also missed checkpoints. But I understand that it is jam. Congratulations for the effort! This game reminded me a lot of Reventure, you know? I bet you were inspired by it too ahahhaa thanks!
I liked the fast pace, and the different enemy patterns. Very cool, great submission, congratulations!
I really liked the ambiance you created. Your game is quite fun and well done for a jam. Congratulations!
It looked very good on the title screen, but I couldn't play it very well. Controls and movement could be better handled.
I had never played a game with that mechanic before. I liked it! Although I couldn't figure out how it fit with the theme.
The idea is cool.
Are you satisfied with the result? If so, that's what matters! :D
The only problem I found was the long cutscene. You knew how to take advantage of the resources and create multiple minigames, creating a very interesting identity for the game. Congratulations on the result. I believe it could be a great game to be released as an inspiration of WarioWare.
The game idea is very interesting. Congratulations on your work!
The IDEA is good. But several elements to improve the gameplay were missing. For example: a restart button! Thanks, and congratulations on the submission!
I enjoyed the experience. I did miss some background music! But you managed to create a nice ambiance in a GameMaker point and click game. Congratulations!
Try submitting again, and compete in the EXTRA category.
Hi @simplepotential! Actually, the arrows lose accuracy if you don't load the shot by holding down the firing button! I should have made that clear, sorry! Hahah but thanks for playing!
@lorwon, thank you!
@matt-ravenhall, the accuracy of the shot is controlled by the loading time of the shot.
@reyansh, I chose to make the player focus on concentrating shots and trying for maximum accuracy, and be well rewarded for it.
@mantou, nice score! thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@lightterradog Thanks! I played your game today, and liked it a lot too! Very nice and pleasant to play!
@fluffy-kaeloky Thanks for the feedback. These suggestions are great, but it's because I had very little time to develop the game, so for the jam I decided to make a super simple game, but challenging and innovative in some way. But thanks!
@amarokczukay, @douxie-joke, @kyntoue, @nija463, thanks for the words, and thanks for playing!
@jeremia, gee, I never would have imagined that someone would think that hahahah I made this cover in the style of playstation 1 covers just for aesthetic purposes. Obviously it's not a physical game, and it doesn't have an ESRB rating either hahaha :) But it is a valid question haha thanks!
@skel3ton Thanks for the words, I largely agree. But the direction I took was precisely to make the player need to think carefully before shooting. I had very little time to develop the game, so I couldn't take care of the difficulty balance and set up a more sophisticated design. Certainly if I were to take it further, I would change a lot of things. But thanks again for the good feedback! =)
@nardandas Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm seriously thinking about giving it a better polish to fix these imperfections, and these responses have been quite aggregating for me. I haven't had much time to develop the game, but I'm quite happy with the result. Thanks!
I really enjoyed the game! Very fun idea, and I felt challenged to look for all solutions! Good job! imagem_2022-10-06_234416930.png
I thought it was pretty simple! But it's better than doing nothing, right? hahaha I also had very little time to develop a game, but I managed to make a very simple game in the last hour! The important thing is to participate, congratulations on the submission!
I loved the creativity of this game! A very well executed idea for mini-games involving famous movies. Accompanied by a very original design and strong identity. Congratulations!
Very cool! It reminds me a lot of the Wario games, and it goes super well with the theme! I also liked that the game is very simple and fun! Congratulations on the submission. You managed to make a really cool game!
Very cute. It took me a while to understand, and to realize that there is a way not to fall into the hole. I could only play your game now, but I liked it very much! Cats are everything!
