A simple and fun game idea. I really liked the music and the visuals. This game once again proven that I am a terrible typist. Well done.

Cute little typing game! I wish it got difficult a little faster, I found it to be incredibly easy for the first few minutes, but oh boy, does it get hard. I didn't expect to find a typing game, but I'm glad I did. Good work!

Man, that gets stressful fast! I love these kinds of typing games and this one is really well executed. The UI is very pretty. It's a little touch when the words begin to come in upside down, but that seems like a problem without much of a solution (except maybe words could be drawn in a list beside the play area so that players could also type from that list? Either way, great addicting game.

A fun and well polished game. The minimalistic design works really well. The SFX when blocks hit each other just gets a bit too much when there are many of them.

A fun little game with a ton of replayability! It started a bit slow for me but when it hit the fan it was really challenging and fun. I agree with Sapantaha, the sounds could be a bit much when the cup started filling up but that's a minor detail in my book.

Very elegant, very simple, and very polished. The game is great! Plays well, I think everything in the game is thought of well too. I think some improvements with difficulty can be made, I currently played up to 50 points, and im not completely sure if the words fall more if you are at higher points, but I think a good way to tell is how many words there are in the bucket. I think I'm a fast typer, at (50 points) there were no words at the bucket, and the challenge just is not there for me. Many of the typing games generally like to have the players race against something like (typeracer), so perhaps maybe some kind of timer before the next word falls, or next batch or words etc. You can also add in some theme to the words too! All in all, love the game, great work!!!

linus-lindberg 2022-04-04 18:14

@fzsa-v The difficult definitely increases with time, it gets very hard around 70 points, but I agree with all of the above comments that is quite a slow start.

This is a amazing game! As someone who is addicted to typing speed sites like 10fastfingers, this was a FABLOUS game that I would totally play on a daily basis! Excellent job!

ashley-ware 2022-04-05 06:32

Really great game! The sound effects scratch an itch in my brain, lol. I had a fun time flexing my typing skills :)

Speed typing games are great! Especially when you mess up and the stress settles in to fix it. Good time!

phoenixofforce 2022-04-06 14:43

Well that were a lot words i thin i never typed befor :D Had a good time playing, well done

bucketh3ad 2022-04-06 14:44

Love the typing/block stacker hybrid. Not enough physics in most typing games. I generally type between 100-120wpm, and I managed to get a score of 110 in the game. Not sure if that was coincidental or not, but I found it amusing either way. The sound effect when a word is typed successfully feels very satisfying. I wish the difficulty started a bit higher and ramped up more gradually, and there were a couple times when I was typing fast that it felt like the game ate my inputs, but that could have just been a typing error. Overall a solid typing game and something I might come back to when my fingers need a warm up.

mrschlag2 2022-04-06 14:54

Very satisfying to type these words. My score 83. Good job thank you!

moooks 2022-04-06 17:51

Great game, I'm not very good at typing so I only got 65. But I had fun playing it, good job!

andrground 2022-04-06 18:00

Very fun little game. Since I like typing, I enjoyed it a lot!

Wish it was more challenging though, had to wait for quite some time for it to get tough.

drkie 2022-04-06 18:18

Very fun! My only feedback would be that if the player finished typing the last word on the bucket, the next one could appear immediately without waiting for the timer, in order to speed up getting to the harder parts :)

josh-riley 2022-04-06 22:22

Haha, we did make nearly the exact same game!

I like the idea of making the words physics objects, I think there's some fun ways you could expand on that if you wanted to polish this up more (maybe words that change size, break apart, are bouncy, etc.). I also really like the way you handle typos, the coloring of the letters gives you really fast feedback when you mess up. That was something I struggled with in my implementation of this idea (ultimately my solution was to make any typo a failure, but limit the word length so it didn't get too punitive...your way is probably better).

Good job!

tristian-tee 2022-04-07 06:55

Came here via your comment on Josh's. You both did amazing work!

I really liked the weight of the words and how words would end up at weird angles.

If you took Josh's music and menu navigation and combined it with your gameplay, I think we would have a perfect 5-star entry XD

Nice work.

frankey333 2022-04-07 16:15

Great way to train faster typing. I will use this definitely to train more :D. Thank you

krzyhau 2022-04-08 18:23

Simple concept. I enjoyed it, but difficulty could be balanced a little bit better - for several minutes I could keep up with the pace with ease, and then it was nearly impossible for me to catch up. I think keeping one pace for longer would be a more reasonable approach - waiting for the player to fail rather than forcing them to. Either way, good execution of the idea.

jonah-srg 2022-04-09 13:03

Very polished, clear concept. Typing games are a lot of fun and the spatial element of managing the stack of words works well, at some point it becomes about turning your head around and reading the upside-down word that is clogging the channel. It starts a touch slow but ramps up in difficulty nicely. The audio feedback is crisp, perfect for giving that tactile sense to typing the words. Really well done.

luis-felipe-patrocinio 2022-04-10 16:44

The game takes a long time to get difficult and challenging. It spends a lot of time being tedious, but manages to be quite fun in the end. I liked it!

tanis 2022-04-10 19:45

I think you could ramp[ up a little bit the difficulty as there is a long time during which it is super easy and then it starts becoming harder all of a sudden. I also believe there is some issue with the WebGL version as it is ignoring some of the keystrokes from time to time.

But I did like the concept. It's very nice and with some variations it would make a good casual game.

corrupt-spaghetti 2022-04-11 21:00

Really fun! I don't type very quickly, so I appreciate the slow ramp up in difficulty. The strategy of choosing which words to type when they start piling up adds a lot of depth. My high score is currently 93.

otterfaelure 2022-04-21 20:37

Finally a place where my stupid fast typing can shine, until my anxiety hits at least! First try: 135. I unfortunately panicked and stopped reading the words properly and thus typos abounded haha. I think the difficulty ramping could have benefits, for sure, from being more gradual and starting far sooner. I did find myself wondering if I was just going to play until boredom took me but suddenly words were flipping themselves upside down and sideways and coming in bundles of four... I'm going back in.! I am too tired to do more, but I'll leave with this. =)
