This game is cool! I liked how the character controls - feels very good, though sometimes collision with an enemy can throw you quite far (which looks like a bug?). Overall, nice game :)

Your menus are sooooooo gooooooooooooood! The gameplay would need some fine tuning but it's a grat platformer with charm! Very well done!

Love the graphics! The platforming feels a little slidey but maybe that's appropriate for a ice qube.

Love this take on the theme. It's a nice little platformer ! :thumbsup: I'd like to have a little bit more speed when running left and right and maybe a little less on the dash. Oh and you can fall forever when you go straight on the left at the start :D pretty cool, good job

The visual effect on the menu screens is really cool but it could be nerfed a little ingame as I found it disorientating and almost made the game very chaotic. The artstyle is really really good, and the movement controls feel great. I'm impressed that this was done in 48 hours. Amazing.

Great entry, really polished. Some thoughts: - The UI/menu was fantastic set the tone for the game. - art was really nice - super cute - Was fun getting a snowflake and just going ham haha - I found the physics a bit floaty and difficult to control, maybe increasing the acceleration would help. - Sliding was wild, first thing I did was dash off the edge and fall for eternity lol.

The game was fun, I managed to stay alive for almost A MINUTE :D The grapgics were cute. Sometimes it was hard to jump on some walls, because it was so close to thwe maximum height of the jump. I also wasnt able to use the slide very efficiently, but that could be only my inability to play platformers. Overall cool game!

The expression of despair on the character's face is unbelievable! Great job!

There are some jumps that are difficult to do (some seem impossible) and the ice HITBOX is pretty big, it's kind of hard to move between the fire (which reinforces the theme).

The title screen is really cool, and the sounds match too.

Love the parallax in the background, and the pixel art is excellent. Some feedback on the remaining time for the freeze powerup would be good, mainly because if you pick up a 2nd one it feels like it doesn't replenish that time.

Loved the graphics and the sound effects (especially the jump) were really suitable. The only improvements I can think of: Having the controls mapped to more natural buttons? The buttons make sense for an FPS (I put my hand on my mouse when I read how to play), so maybe different controls would have been more intuitive. and Making character movement more fluid (heh). Great entry otherwise, best of luck in the compo!

Keypad & GamePad controls are not working in the menus, but the Control Menu clearly show gamepad buttons. GamePad can be used ingame however

In the first level, we can go out of the bound, and falling forever xD ! With no falling animation, so sad.

The animation of our character and the global art is really nice. It seems there are a random generation of level, I really like it.

A lot of blocs need to jump at the limit of the maximum jump high, which is a bit tricky unfortunately.

It seems we dont have any invulnerability frame when we are hit, I die so easily xD haha.

The character can be partially controlled when in the pause menu. But sometimes this pause menu disapear when I push "jump", it seems it's not everytime.

The game is great! I spent most of my time slide boosting to get the ice powerup than running through the fire to get the ice creams.

Cute game.

Graphics were cute with good designs for both the player and the enemies, and were a real highlight of the experience. I particularly liked the walking fireball with its mischievous grin. The main and pause menus looked fantastic too, and I like the effect you put on the main menu with its perspective. It's a cool little touch that adds a lot of character to the entry. Also, I appreciated the funny little comments on the How to Play menu.

Gameplay was pretty good overall. Movement felt a bit sluggish, even when getting up to full speed, which occasionally made getting up on ledges a bit tricky, but it was mostly easily controllable, which is good. I didn't understand that the slide maneuver would work in the air as a long distance dash at first, so I was unsure how to get to a lot of the goodies on high platforms on my first few runs. But I eventually worked that out and it was much easier to play afterwards.

Getting to bounce off of enemies when you had the snowflake power-up was a nice little thing to discover. There were some interesting moments where colliding with enemies while under its effects launched me forward at an incredible speed, which was surprising and exciting (even if possibly not intended).

I think that there's a bit of a quirk with the timer on the power-ups. It felt like the snowflake timer was inconsistent, usually lasting the same amount of time but sometimes it felt much, much shorter, which is unfortunate because getting to launch forward carefree for a bit when protected was a lot of fun but could prove unexpectedly risky if that happened.

Also, as a side note, it was pretty entertaining to just slide off of the level to the left and free fall. XD

Fun concept and I loved that rogue-like feeling. However, level design could be friendlier, but we all know that there's always not enough time to polish the game, maybe later. Really enjoyed playing, thanks!

Great game! Hidden underneath the cute art style is the high level game LOL, a little too hard for me to even survive a minute;(jumping up is a little hard to do, but still a good game!

It's a very well made game, with really good graphics and sounds. Although I faced some bugs, none stopped me from proceeding. A nice addition would be a webgl version.
