What a jolly game! Good job!

What a jolly game! Good job!
Had fun with this one! Controls were a bit fiddly but that made it more intresting for the part of me which loves speed running.
Great concept! Feels very challenging! My only peace of feedback is that once game launches it takes a while until first enemy appears on screen, gameplay could start a bit sooner (or is there some key I have to press?). Thanks for the game :)
Nice game! Not sure if it's intentional, but it felt like it's more about saving yourself and not penguin as fires were targetting the snowman (player)
Nice idea. One of the best from what I've played so far. Thanks for the game!
Well done. Enjoyed this a lot. Would be cool if each battery slot was bound to a key so it would be playable with keyboard (I suspect stress level would be around the same). Thanks for the game!
Enjoyed artwork a lot, everything fits together very nicely! Some UI things weren't clear, took some clicking around to figure out how to buy more seeds.
Great writing! Autocorrect joke made me laugh :joy:
I have to say, uncovering large areas of the map with a single drill use is quite satisfying! Great game, well done :)
Nice relaxing game. I liked the 3 types of obstacles in the game - one moves horizontally, one moves vertically and the other stationary, had some great situations where I had two outmanoeuvre 2 or 3 of them at once. I think some colliders of the terrain are bit rough as I was sometimes hitting or getting stuck on seemingly empty space (thankfully it doesn't deal damage but is still a bit annoying)
Nice idea. I've liked pretty much everything about the game. However, few times I've run into two event cards one after another, which immediatly destroyed my civilization even though I *think* is was going well. Not sure if that's intentional but it feels a bit overpowered.
Loved it. I think it looks great and plays great overall. I think music fit really well too! I ran into some bugs though - one was that there was a random collider in the water and the other was that ruby necklace and some coins were inside the ground so I couldn't pick them up. Also, I think the item pick up sound could be a bit quieter as it kept taking me out of the relaxing mood created by the background music.
Great game with a nice idea. If I had to improve this one way, I'd probably add more difficult enemies the deeper you go into the space. From what I've encountered while I was playing, each work area didn't seem to be more difficult so I was clearing them easier and easier as I was getting upgrades to shields and speed (though I have to say that was also satisfying!)
I did have a good time - loved the artwork and the idea/gameplay. Minor thing - I wish there was some kind of sonar that would beep more often the closer you get to missing item as there were few times where I've gone too deep and died.
Thank you for the feedback @sigmath-bits and playing the game! I was hoping to implement something like you've suggested but ran out of time  Currently, every 10/20 levels chance to find Diamond, Silver, Gold or Rock block increases slightly, but it's probably not noticable enough.
How can I progress to different levels? Is it based on timer or do I have to do something else?
Hell yeah! Loved the puzzle mechanic. I think two small issues for me were that soul can still die when in the middle of way to destination and that elevators move constantly - I think better approach would be if elevators waited for souls (if there's no soul waiting on the other end) before moving.
Nice one! Visually it looks stunning. I've liked gameplay as well, though I think it's a tad too easy as I've managed to win by clicking around somewhat mindlesslly.
I'm usually not a fan of scary games, but have to say that I did enjoy the game overall. Atmosphere was great. I think walking/steps sound effect was too loud and repetitive though and harmed the athmosphere a bit. Also the fact that stamina doesn't recharge when you're walking also was a small negative.
Game looks good and the idea of heading up clearing/surviving each floor is nice. I think game could have a screen with controls as it was unclear what to do. When you just start elevator is out of screen and you have to walk a bit to reach it, but it was unclear that I had to do that so it took a bit even before I could start the game.
Made it a bit over 76km. I liked most of the things, but some things are a bit unclear. For example, trader seems to appear randomly? Would be nice to see indication showing when the next trader is going to appear. Also, not sure if I was doing something wrong but some rocks weren't dropping any gold.
But, like I've said, I've enjoyed it overall and will definitely do at least few more runs :)
Great game overall, enjoyed it quite a bit! Had some unfortunate randomness where foxes spawned on the same cell where I was standing.
Good game :) Had a little trouble figuring out how it works at first, but once I got through that it's quite enjoyable. Also, there seems to be a bug that if you click Restart when you're in the first level (other levels are fine) then move count won't be refreshed.
I liked the fact that time between failure and playing again is low, helps to keep the momentum going. Fun game overall!
Excellent art style. Card controls feels very satisfying.
Nice game! Simple, but very engaging. Survived until number was 425, but died not because of the difficulty but because the game started to run poorly due to the number of enemies on screen. I think some difficulty adjustments might make it run and play better, because if not for the lag, it still would have been very easy. Maybe fewer enemy instances, but those who get spawned have more health or speed etc. Good job overall.
Just wanted to say that the penguins look cute!
@bit66 Yeah, sorry about that, it definitely could have been clearer. To scavenge for resources, you have to land at the gas station. Then a progress bar will show up and you have to press space bar when arrow points to a green part of it. At the same time, you have to shoot at zombies to keep them away from you. Then when you're done you can increase your heat to go back up and continue your journey.
Nice little game. Liked the art style. Together with music it had a very calming effect :D
Excellent game. Great artwork. Gameplay loop is fun - I liked the variety of obstacles and how hectic it gets later on! :D If I had to suggest one improvement it would be making character controller a bit more responsive - currently it feels a bit too "floaty", if it makes sense.
This looks and plays very good. Great graphics! The only thing that was a bit annoying was that some platforms are very close to the edge of the screen and when you try to jump/fly to them, your trajectory crosses to another room and so camera briefly switches to that room and makes it difficult to control where you land (sorry if the explanation of the issue was poor!). My advice would be to keep platforms further away from the edges so that even if you cross to another room for some time, you would still get time to adjust your landing spot while falling.
Overall, an excellent job!
Nice game. Had fun playing it. Great sound effects and an excellent background music choice :D
Thanks for the game! I liked the overall experience. If I had to suggest one thing - maybe instead of destroying the monster, having the flashlight push monsters away, while more monsters spawn as the time goes on would have made it a bit more interesting.
Game looks great. Love all the visual details, like prints in the snow as you walk etc. Great job!
Unfortunately I ran into an issue where the game spawned two customers and then it didn't show what one of them wanted. In addition to that, controls were also difficult, feels like walking on ice.
Great game! I love the art/animations. Gameplay is also fun - gets hectic in a good way.
If I had to give some suggestions - I think the default character speed is a bit too slow. Maybe increasing the default speed and decreasing timers before weeds start growing might make it feel a bit better while keeping the game similarly hectic.
@sdelay Hmm, let's say that in level 5 you need to drive more backwards than forwards :D
It didn't feel like the current version had enough challenge to be engaging. I would've liked to see some humans that were armed making it a bit more difficult to expand your horde, or maybe others that were moving faster so you'd have to plan your horde movement better to be able to catch them (unless they show up later in the game and I just didn't get to that point).
On the other hand, I feel like this could be quite interesting game if it was explored/expanded more as the idea of controlling ever-growing horde does sound fun.
Excellent job. Great integration of storytelling and gameplay. I'm not sure if it's the game or something on my end but had to turn off the audio as it was having some issues.
Loved the mood of the game and the pixel art. Well done
Loved this, would definitely play more. Well done!
Great game. Wish it was paced slight faster as at the start there's quite a bit of waiting between placing the brick walls. But overall it was captivating, played through all difficulties (could not win the hardest one though )
Love the art style/assets. Enjoyed the gameplay too, but movement controls got stuck at one point.
The game loop is very captivating. Already been playing this for 30 minutes. Just wanted to say well done before I jump back in
Excellent creature design! Game loop is simple but engaging, ended up playing this for a while. Well done!
Great visuals and game feels very polished. I wish there was slightly more feedback to the controls. Maybe some kind of number which shows rotation speed in degrees/second, as now it's hard to tell how the input affects the game.
Beautifully looking game. I wish there was some kind of explanation on how each tiers of miners and resource gatherers are different from one another.
P.S. I think clicking mouse wheel has some unwanted functionality
Nice game. Loved all the atmospherics: water physics, 2d lighting, bubbles and fish. All of these complimented each other and game ended up looking great.
Scrap doesn't have any distinct look to it so I wasn't sure what I needed to collect. Had to randomly swim around in the water until I hit something that got picked up. (to others who might run into a similar issue - it's in the second screenshot, just on the left of the player character)
I loved the visuals and presentation of the game. It plays well. Wish there were more levels and maybe some kind of difficulty progression (maybe the spotlight where cat's paw spawns could start moving once you reach specific depth, for example). But overall, well done!
Neat idea! Enjoyed my time with the game. The only time I managed to reach the heart was when I was quickly pressing my mouse without much thinking
Love how fluid this game feels. Enemy attack range, for whatever reason, feels a bit too big when compared to the visuals, but I appreciate how the game immediately puts you back into action after dying. Well done!
Excellent idea! I wish the game had some kind of other feedback to hitting a wall than dying as having to start over very often doesn't feel great
