Love the artwork and vibe of the game. High concept man!
I grew up around mining. Nailed it. I spent so much time mining. Love the difficulty ramp-up.
@tinykidtoo Every year we had a field trip to the local mine. It was the only option for a non-nature field trip in driving distance. Except for the lead/zinc smelter.

(Sorry for triple post ... UI issue)
The neon. The beautiful beautiful neon. A genuinely fun game to play - kept me engaged for quite a while. Would love to see more content as you go deeper post-contest.
I spent the first hour of the competition thinking about a deep neural net game, but I didn't come up with something fun. You did. Nice puzzle game that makes you think, and nicely designed levels. Glad you made it.
Thanks for the game - really enjoyed it. It's pretty discoverable - after a few games I got the rules. Didn't manage to beat it, though I think I'd get there in a few more runs.
Nice arcade shooter and meta theme. Nice diversion.
Very fun game. Really enjoyed playing and like the swarm/repulse effect. I'd go back to it.
I can't leave a long comment because I've been playing this game for so long. You should release this game - I had a blast completing it. đ©
I spent way too much time on this game. One of those 'why didn't I think of that' games. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
[The only winning move move ... is not to play.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DGNZnfKYnU)
Thank you for this entry - nice controls and a pretty unforgiving game. You executed well on a vision.
Visuals, mood, and controls were excellent. Even though you told me in the title screen, took a bit to discover the goal of the game but it's a pleasure flying around and discovering. Impressive entry.
Very nicely done - very elegant how the design/theme was used to increase difficulty.
Since noone else said it, get your mother loving snakes off my mother loving sphere.
This is a complete and really fun game. Love the feel, love the mechanics. Very nicely done. I love how things get out of control.
You delivered what you promised - very psychedelic.
Very cerebral game - enjoyed playing. I'll have to look at the code to see how you did the time dilation - did you go to first principle equations? Others mentioned it, but some vector velocity relative to the black hole would help visualize. I never killed all the enemies, but I sure tried. Nice submission.
Really good music. I don't want to spoil anything, but the second music was very effective. Very enjoyable entry.
Really makes me miss Ultima Underworld. A lot to finish in a short time - would love to see more! Enemy cubes looked great - because of how the move towards you, could couldn't appreciate their cube-ness as much as I'd liked.
Hats off for pulling this off. Nice gameplay mechanic and visuals are spot on.
Very nice visuals. Tough to beat.
Beat it in 18 days!
Really a beautiful game. Was very chill until the time trials. The game distinctly changed as you progressed and got more power-ups - I was not expecting that and was pleasantly surprised. Felt like a complete game.
Like the art and the feel of it.
Nice challenging game. Visuals are efficient and cohesive - you really nailed that part of it.
That is a complete and compelling game. Nailed the theme, nailed the mood. I want to commend you on the visuals. A cohesive style and my eyes always knew where to look.
20000 well spent. Nice vibe - progression and conclusion quite rewarding.
I think this puts you over 20 votes just before the deadline ... good luck!
Spot on the theme and fun to play. I like the spells making it so you can go further and further rather than leveling up. Nice mechanic. The music/graphics made a compelling world.
Thanks to all that played Pix'in'. Your feedback and comments are much appreciated. I've added a [1.2 version](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W921kYs2iqxTf5bamKzVMQS8dWRYNXge/view?usp=sharing) that: * still defaults to the compo entry gameplay, * supports WASD in addition to the arrow keys to accommodate a wider variety of keyboards, and * adds a direct movement mode (as well as an experimental always moving mode).
---
@michael-feldman: I implemented the control scheme you described. You can try 1.2 with the 'Direct' control mode.
@nevermiind: Please send the debug console output if you get a chance.
@srrinio: Version 1.2 supports WASD controls.
@silkwork-sweatshop: I tried out the continuous movement idea (see the experimental control modes in 1.2). You're right - I'd have to greatly reduce the maze density for it to not be ... 'challenging'.
@jamr: Thanks for checking out the code. I did a few nasty C++ tricks towards the end ...
@dninosores I like the challenge of the CW/CCW, but I put in a 'Direct' set of controls that allow you to move in the direction you hit. Left/Right on the bottom menu item of version 1.2 will do it. I find it gets difficult to work out in the corners (probably something I could solve).
Thanks for the review!

(My first LD as well)
I'm really enjoyed the game, especially trying to find orbits. Nice job - I'd recommend you keep working on it.
I love this game. Not going to add much more than what's above, but you this scream mobile.
Link wasn't working when I tried it. Reply when it's fixed and I will score.
I really had a blast playing your game. Felt complete. Perfect mood and esthetic.
@spacecadet very very very true
