Link wasn't working when I tried it. Reply when it's fixed and I will score.

Very beautiful and atmospheric! We played it together and have been entranced from the very beginning.

The extreme minimalist environment creates tranquility and bliss. The music is beautiful too and very calming. This is a very nice place, to it's very nice to be here!

I CAN WALK ON WATER!!! I always knew it!!

Very captivating environment. I somehow fell thru the water and could see the underside of all the structures. I dunno if it was a bug, but it truly felt like i was falling in to the underworld!!! Then there were glowing stars appearing.

(fyi, I didn't find a way to exit gracefully.)

@mrmattsim right, I did not prohibit the player from walking off the island! : o A hint if you want to play through it: there is something on the island : ) thanks so much for playing!

Damn, very short, but I loved every second of it. Really beautiful and gave me a lot of inspiration for future 3D games I might make. The sound is spot on too. Great work, honestly.

I would expect to walk faster and the ability to jump would add a lot. But otherwise the game fulfilled exactly what I expected from it according to the label.

The Bloom is too much for me, i was feeling like loosing my vision but nice visual style and mood :)

3dflow 2021-04-28 10:21

Fantastic mood and music

rongefilet 2021-04-28 10:29

A very pleasing short trip, the mood is perfect well done!

(As a side note rant that has nothing to do with you or your game I am always baffled at how Unity over inflates things but 150mo for a game without textures, displaying only scaled and rotated cubes, wow)

Lovely! :) Hehe, I was expecting to find a note or something behind this structure:

I had a great little walk in your atmospheric world ! I enjoyed making my way up to the tower and admiring the views, then going for a quick dive into the surrounding sea.

Strengths : - Great mood (visuals and audio) - No UI, no clutter, just chill

Possible Improvements : - A sprint would have helped for replayability

Thanks for the experience !

The viiiibes and moooood are fantastic!

antti-tiihonen 2021-04-29 05:55

A cool game. No need to warn about the game being simple, just embrace the minimalism!

It seems like there was some smoothing applied when turning the camera. Something about it caused me to start feeling a little motion sick until I started to turn the camera more calmly. It's not a biggie but maybe something to keep in mind for the future.

Thank you all for the great feedback! Some tip for further exploration: wait in front of the tower. : )

@sebirit Ahh, I looked on the wrong side ;D Thanks for the tip, I finished it now

Overall mood, music and art style are good, but I personally feel lack of motivation and direction

duplicatedframe 2021-05-01 08:34

Gorgeous!!! I love love loved the colors (especially those of the shadows)

lazzor 2021-05-02 11:38

Alright, I love the minimalistic design and the athmosphere created by it in combination with the music and ambient sounds! So really great job on the design part.

Some more indicators on how to progress would have helped though. In my first playthrough, I went right to the backside of the tower, where nothing happened. So then I wandered to the rest of the first level, thinking this was the entire game. After re-checking with your screenshots I saw a door which I havent seen myself, so in my second playthrough I waited in front of the tower to see a door open. Nice, I made it to the second part! Here, I felt really disoriented, as everything was black at first and I only saw the lights that spawned next to me. I think it was only by luck that I was able to get out of the tower :P

Anyway, as I said earlier, great entry! :)

Had an emotional moment

Pros:

- Deep, yet relaxing atmosphere - There's a beauty in the graphical settings and minimalism there. Especially on the beach - Piano makes everything better - Very good soundscape - Kinda dreamy feel

Cons:

- Wish you could tweak to less blur just a tiny bit (but just tiny!) - Wish it was longer... - Could increase shadows rendering size, cause I could see some shadows dissapearing on the beach, breaking immersion jsut a bit

Overall, a great and relaxing entry. Good job!

lrvstudios 2021-05-04 21:55

Great game! Wonderful both music and mood in this game...clean art, simple, and yet incredible. The character movement is a bit slow, but despite that, really enjoyed this entry. Great work!

sebirit 2021-05-06 11:37

Thank you all so much for your great and useful feedback and input! You are all making my day : )

hobzone 2021-05-09 22:38

Really cool graphism and audio. Beautifull landscapes. It could have been cool to be able to sprint ;)

vladadamm 2021-05-14 21:03

Liked the visual style a lot and the audio worked really well in giving the game a nice chill mood. Only small issues would be shadows not rendering far enough & maybe a lack of contrast below the tower.

For the rest, it's too short & kind of lack of a game aspect (even as a walking simulator). A puzzle or narrative game could work really well with those graphics & audio imo.

skippuku 2021-05-18 02:21

definitely wish it was longer! very good atmosphere, love the music. idk if this was intentional but i had this weird effect with the vignette where i could see the edge of it if i looked down? vignette_thing_picture_time.png

well, in intentional or not, it was kind of distracting, especially since i usually angle the camera down a bit in first-person games. also minor nit pick but i wish the walk speed was a bit faster? perhaps im just impatient. but yeah i would definitely like to see a longer form project like this, i vibe with it.
