Really makes me miss Ultima Underworld. A lot to finish in a short time - would love to see more! Enemy cubes looked great - because of how the move towards you, could couldn't appreciate their cube-ness as much as I'd liked.
Feels a bit unfinished, but I did still had fun trying it.
I liked that the enemies drop the "portal" to the next floor, if you build up on that idea i think you could get some cool labyrith where you have to kill the right mobs to find the exit or smth :)
Nice graphics and feel. Could have done with some indicator of when you did or took damage and how much health the enemies had left.
A game like this has great potential. It felt a bit unfinished now, and I died pretty quickly at the third level. That said, this is something you should definitely continue working on. Random map generation, a variety of enemies, a variety of weapons, some upgrades. It could be great!
It would be nice to have a description to the game. Like this it's missing some context, like what the idea for the game was and what the goal is.
Definitely needed some form of feedback on the attacks; sound effects, screen effects, particles, colour modulation, something to indicate when you take damage, when their attack connects, the range of the attack, or if you are actually hitting them. It's a solid tech demo! Just recommend looking into integrating nice feedback into the core interactions early to make sure the player knows what's happening.
