This is really good game, good controls and fun idea. Good job.
I love the graphics, a really awesome game. It felt great and was fun to play.
J'ai passé un très bon moment, J'ai bien rigolé
What a fun little game! I loved all the cute animations and graphics, mood was great! It created an interesting challenge trying to create a little loop to run around, planting and slaying. Nice Entry!
I like the idea of beating the grown vegtables into submission :D it was real fun though planting and fighting became a bit stressful with a tight timer for weed to grow, maybe a longer timer would be nice ther.
Lovely graphics and cool concept!
Neat little game! My only complaint is that the player moves a bit slow, even with the stir fry buff.
Me and my husband both love this game :D Simple, but challenging at the same time. Good controls.Well done!
Great little game with some nice dynamics. Kept me playing for a nice while.
Great game! I love the art/animations. Gameplay is also fun - gets hectic in a good way.
If I had to give some suggestions - I think the default character speed is a bit too slow. Maybe increasing the default speed and decreasing timers before weeds start growing might make it feel a bit better while keeping the game similarly hectic.
Pretty good. Very easy though. Played it through twice, the second time even without using any foods at all.

It get kinda out of had quick. I think the weed timers could have been a bit longer and have a more visible cues for when they became plantable and were about to grow weed. As the action was so constant that it really gave no room to familiarise oneself with the recipes and ingredients and so on.
The combat worked pretty well but felt too slow and not dangerous at all. Only the corn enemy seemed like it could actually pose even a minor threat. But as you were always in control of what was spawning, it wasn't a real issue either.
There was no downside at all to just constantly keeping both mouse buttons down and literally mashing space to move constantly as the normal walking speed was so horribly slow. You should pretty much always evaluate your player "actions" whether they could just be used all the time. That is why shooting usually has recoil, slower movement, reloads etc. Or even making them fully automatic could be another way to go. Now you only really had to stop for planting and cooking.
The visuals worked pretty well. Nice animations too. Would have wanted to see a bit more feedback on actions like hitting enemies and getting hit yourself. It just didn't feel like anything had much impact. And the screen shake was off by default for some reason, only noticed the existence of it on my second run. But it looked pretty weird. Not sure why but it felt sluggish somehow. Was it only camera rotation? I think it should be snappier and ideally accompanied with a gut punching sound effect to really drive the impact home.
But yeah, it was good. Of course it could have been better with a smoother progression and maybe having the foods permanently build up your stats instead of just being timed buffs. Good job though! 👍
**edit:** Oh and only now read the description. I played the web version and it worked just fine.
Nice entry, it's quite addictive!
It is a bit disruptive having to click the recipes and the vegetables to plant, maybe more hotkeys would fix that; but the game is still a lot of fun, and the art and music are good! Well done!
Very fun game loop and fun concept of vegetables fighting back, I played the web version and didn't have any navigation issues. I agree with the other comments that a faster walking speed could be a good add.
Difficult but a *very* cool idea! I like that you essentially grow and harvest your own enemies, very unique, and nice art, too!
I love the graphics, a really awesome game. It felt great and was fun to play... Good job!
Great game! I had a lot of fun playing it. During first playthrough I needed only 5 more coins and a tomato killed me. Then I noticed there are powerups to cook :D The second playthrough was even better. The game is well balanced for me. It was challanging but not to hard. Graphics and audio are also great!
What a funny game ! Love sounds and shovel throw 😂
Like that you have two types of attacks and can get power ups through sacrificing your crops. It does take a very long time to win the game though!
I've never liked vegetables anyway and it was very satisfying to beet them to a pulp.
Very fun! The characters a little slow but everything else is great, the food system is great and very creative
dear the creators of rough harvest,
i thought this game was cute and the gameplay loop was fun. my favorite part was the vegetable walking graphics :) have an a-maize-ing day.

This game requires some serious multitasking skills! I ended up never planting corn, because they can shoot at you from the distance. It was satisfying, beating the sh*t out of them though. Made me hate veggies now!! Overall good experience!
Great job! Nice graphics and overall gameplay. :)
Need more juice and the player controller needs more work, but overall pretty fun game. One thing that kinda annoyed me was having to click on small UI button with the mouse to plant stuff, could have easily been assigned to keys.
Very fun, and excellently polished for a jam game. Amazing work, top marks!
Really cool game! But I was too frantic dashing around trying to plant seeds and beat off evil vegetables to even think about cooking anything.
This was a really fun game to play! The graphics were really well done and the gameplay itself felt super smooth and fun to play! The cooking mechanic didn't really feel all too important and I didn't use it too too much while playing, but nonetheless this was a super well made game!
Really cute game! It wasn't very difficult at the end, but I did need to develop a little bit of strategy (e.g. not plant all the corns at once since they killed me very quickly ). I didn't use cooking much except for the very basic carrot recipe. Loved the artwork and music!
Cute game. Love the graphics, reminds me a bit of Cuphead in style. Gameplay toughness ramped up quickly when I suddenly went from only one available plot, to all of the plots being available, and there never seemed to be enough time to get crops planted in more than one, even when dashing. Lots of potential here, I feel. Well done!
Definitely one of my favourites so far, I learned pretty early on that planting too much corn all at once was about the same as asking to be executed by a firing squad and focusing first on carrots and paprikas seemed a fairly sensible choice, which did certainly make things way more viable :D
After picking up a workable strategy it became really enjoyable, though I will say that you basically barely need any of the buffs to get to the end, the very first carrot stew is useful to retain some health if you happen to get hit (by the surprisingly well telegraphed attacks!) but otherwise you can make it to the end pretty vanilla!
Really enjoyable, but yeah the buffs/foods weren't really necessary to succesfully play the game because as @antti-haavikko points out, you are always in control of what spawns so you could make it as easy on yourself as you wanted (or as hard on yourself as you wanted, if you like me initially planted corn everywhere and got the fusillade)
Good work either way :)
Good game! Fun to play and difficult. I found it pretty challenging and had to play through it a couple times to win. To make a small suggestion, I think it'd be nice to have the center plot unlocked first then unlock the other plots clockwise/counter-clockwise to make a smoother progression of difficulty. Nice work.
Yay! I'm amazing! Just like this game. It turned out rather stressfull, as I always had the screen almost full with weeds and hand to rund in circles trying to get to a planting spot before the timer went down. Maybe I should have used more of the meal, but I only ever made the healing (casserole was it?). But besides the hustle I really enjoxed the game! Also the animations looked really well made.
Great game! Good gameplay that starts off slow and is a bit forgiving. Good at being hectic, and planning. Most was on a carrot-high diet, not looking at the other meals much. Also corn sucks! :P
Well done!
Nice game! I really love the art style and the mood. The gameplay also feels very interesting and exciting, well done guys!
Sans titre.png very addictive game with a clever mix between a farm game and a twin stick shooter
I enjoyed the art. Would have liked a few more seconds to plant. Seemed I was mainly dealing with weeds, so no progression. Also, clicking cook didn't do anything for me but probably user error. Good game.
