Despite the small number of levels, it was quite fun.
Very nice and entertaining game. There are a few requests.
1) When blue cells appear, the antibody selection interface becomes hard to see, a white outline could be added on it.
2) When there are too many viruses, they stack up and it becomes very difficult to mark them, maybe you should change their behaviour, or make them collide with each other, or make projectiles triggers and not destroy them when they touch an already marked virus.
3) Add upgrades. For example, T-killer digestion speed, projectile reload speed.
4) All of the above made me bored by wave 10. You could end the game by adding a multi-part virus that every part of it needs its own antibody. You defeat it and the game ends.
Anyway, I liked your game, I enjoyed my time with it.
I don't know why other commenters didn't understand the mechanics of the cards, it was pretty clear to me. It's not that hard to get to 1000 population units if you spend your resources wisely, I had about 50 more populations in my deck, by the time I got to 1000 I had used up all my population cards.
The only thing I didn't understand was what the negative event cards did, it felt like if you didn't play them, the demon would cause a natural disaster that would take away a lot of resources.
Your hand-drawn art style complements the idea perfectly. Great entry!
The graphics are good, the idea is interesting. A few wishes.
1) I do not understand why the ant soldiers attack one by one and not in a group (as in the last boss, because such a function is in the game). It's funny to see 1 ant with 5% hp attacking the enemy at full health, while the ants around him return to the anthill.
2) The progress bar sometimes covers crumbs, so it would be better if they did not fall in places where there is UI.
3) You could diversify the upgrades, add click damage on enemies or damage from ant soldiers.
CONCLUSION: Even with the flaws, I was hooked and I really enjoyed controlling the anthill, especially giving orders to the little ants. It's a good game!
It's a great game. I was a bit annoyed that the attack order was reset by the soldiers already attacking. It would be better if it just applied instead of resetting, since you already have a separate reset button.
@seth-l Thanks for playing! You may be right that the game moves too quickly between the slots. But at the end of the round you can look at your hand and your opponent's hand and shuffle the bugs to find matches.
The rules were not clear to players, so I also added screenshots describing the game mechanics to make it easier for players to understand the rules.
The game looks good, but lacks a few details.
1) The rat falls very slowly, like a feather, you could make the gravity stronger.
2) As one of the commentators wrote, during the battle the buttons look inactive, you could add a little brightness and highlight the inscriptions when hovering the cursor + add the sound of clicking.
3) Also, when hovering the cursor over the enemy, highlight it somehow, add a white outline, or enlarge the sprite of the enemy. The hit animation itself looks very bad, at first I thought it was an idle animation. There should be a sound of the hit + a visual effect like a slash or an explosion.
4) A bug with armour, when it is used it is only used once per turn, the next use of its charges is spent and the value of the armour is not replenished, unlike medical kits. If this was intended, you should remove the armour button after the first use.
Good graphics! When I started the game I didn't immediately notice the buttons, I think it would be nice to make them more obvious. I liked the boss battle and the game in general.
It's an unusual rts game. The beginning of the game is quite difficult. I only took damage early on, but then the birds and turrets helped me. However, for some reason, not all the improvements and buildings were available to me. Still, I was able to take my tree into space.
I finished your game. Your idea was to place your units in the right order for greater efficiency. But halfway through the game, I noticed that if you don't remove units from the well, they stack up in a doom stack and don't hit themselves with friendly fire. So by the end of the game I had a machine gun in the center of the fountain)).
Also, to flesh out the unit placement mechanics, you could add melee units, like shieldmen and swordsmen. Maybe make them ghostly so that projectiles fly through them
The game could definitely use some sound effects, and ambient. Overall good work

It has a beautiful visual style, but the monologue at the beginning of the level is a bit drawn out, and there's a long wait for the next phrase. It would be better to add tutorial lines to the monologue. I watched it on the game page and immediately realized that you need to slow down to turn more easily. Overall, it's a good game. Great job!

You definitely should have done a tutorial on the game page. I got through the game using only the shield lever because I didn't understand what the other lever was for. Overall, the visuals are nice. Good job!

Хорошая графика и атмосфера игра. Задумка очень интересная, но ломается о то, что можно просто копать вниз, можно было бы добавить не разрушаемые блоки, и дверь, и спрятать ключи в пещерах, тогда нужно было бы исследовать пещеру и собирать ресурсы.
Good Dome Keeper vibes! The message about the enemy regrouping shows up three times. I wish the turret had a wider angle, because enemies often move into its blind spot and damage my platform. Great work!

I agree with the commenters, the idea is strange and unclear for the player. But the graphics are simply stunning. If more meaningful gameplay is added, it could become a very atmospheric game!
