Lone Tower: Against All Odds by zuzupd 2023-10-03T21:26:12Z
Always impressive to see 3d entries for game jams!
I liked: Shooting skeletons with turrets I disliked: Moving between turrets
I think this is similar to how ship combat is done in some games, but unlike ship cannon games where you generally always know where the thing you're shooting is, this game disorients you when moving between turrets / stairs and it is very hard to keep track of which way you're facing, where the skeletons were originally, and which way they moved.
How I would personally improve it if it was my game: -Make a UI element that shows where live enemies are, so you don't lose track of them when moving between turrets -Drastically increase skeleton spawn count and make it happen early in the game, less waiting for skelies to spawn, more killing skelies.
I liked the idea, the single tower defending city is thematically appealing, the cannons were fun to shoot, and making 3d games in short timespans is impressive as heck. Good submission overall.
