A solid project here, well done! Would love to see the polished version with more content on steam :) As for the jam game, it would be better if transitions between phases were shorter. After the first day loop you already know what is going on and those transitions just waste time.

My system blocked you Download.

@raylond Thank you for the feedback! We'd love to see more polished version too, so who knows! Definitely agree with the transitions, something our rushed polishing missed lol

@beebster-games Sorry to hear that! Was it Windows Defender that blocked the file or the download itself was blocked via the browser?

The HTML build doesn't work for me, I see the Godot logo and then a network error. Using Firefox, Linux

I like the art style!

Nice game, interesting ideas and features! I liked the art too, especially the animations. Lacks some depths as is, but lots of cool stuff!

This was great, with a tiny bit of sound and a bit more polish I'd love to play this for much longer

rubentipparach 2025-10-07 18:38

reminds me of the board games adventure mart and boss monster

Its a lot of fun even if barebones. Id suggest you continue working more on this idea it has a lot of potential. I think I had a bug where if I hit end phase before the selected adventurer finished its animation to the next phase, they took your money but there was no adventure. Thanks for the game.

The game looks really nice and the character animations look great! The loop feels nice and runs smooth but feels it a little bit barebone. I think it would be really great with some urgency :) Maybe you should pay rent very day and if you fail you loose, or maybe if you had a classic health bar with 3 hearts or so, and every time you fail you'd loose one life. I also think a little bit sound would do wonders! Anyways good job!

I like the game and the art style. Despite what others might say, I find it polished enough for the time available. For me personally, it is really important to see the numbers behind the systems those kind of games. Like a breakdown of how it is calculated and what modifiers go into it, so I can optimize my strategy. This goes not only for how the prices are calculated, but also on what the attributes of the adventurers influence and how the result of the expedition came to be. Because without that information, I can't really control what I'm doing.

Consistent and neat graphics, linear and simple gameplay. Easy to see and grasp the concept of it. What I do miss is a win or lose condition, or something that keeps me motivated to cycle through the phases over and over again

Kind of intriguing, I wasn't sure I entirely understood the rules.. does it end at some point? I played 7 days, but no end in sight, so i'm assuming it just carries on. What's the point of the collection. I think its a good mechanic for a card game, just feel like I am missing other players to be playing with or something. Seems like you should play like x days and then see who among the players has the most gold or something. Maybe I missed something  Anyway I like the core mechanic and the presentation is pretty nice with the transistions etc. to feel nicely polished. Would love some sound, some chill adventurey soundtrack would help set the mood, I feel this kind of slow paced turn based kind of game really needs music.

awesome game! great work guys.

Interesting idea! I played it all the way through, but here are a few things I’d improve: – The lack of sound and visual feedback when pressing interface buttons made the gameplay feel a bit dull. – I’d shorten the time between phases. – It’s not very clear how I earn collectible items. – I don’t quite understand what the adventurers’ stat points do. – I’d love to see some shop progression — like more display slots and a bigger inventory. Also, it would be great if adventurers could level up over time.

Congrats on a polished and entertaining entry! Overall, I think there are too few decisions the player can make. Choosing an adventurer seems to be the most interesting, but it's not clear how the stats and items affect the outcome. Maybe having more info in the log and being able to see item descriptions may help.
