I, too, like the chill experience. My favorite is the look and smooth control of the boat.

Those physics are really cool. Great look, fun design.
A+. Knock out of the park. You delivered so much with such a small scope, and so well polished. I'm jealous of your creativity and accomplishment.
Really good look, lots of enemy types and attacks. We also did "floor tiles out from under you" theme. Neat to see how someone else went with that style.
This is a cool concept and a good execution for one person. There's definitely a mobile game in there somewhere!
Great job for first try, and solo! lol this game got stressful very fast.
Very cool concept and well executed! That's a lot of levels to string together.
I actually really like the style. Gives me old Lucas Arts vibes. It did get a little confusing to know what I was supposed to do next, but that's the difficulty in doing both narrative and puzzles during a jam. You took on a lot but I would say you have an impressive achievement, especially for one person. Thank you!
This is a really good idea and great execution. My only suggestion is that it's a very challenging game to play for longer than 30 seconds. Still, looks cute, sounds great, controls smooth.
Oddly compelling enough for me to finish. Think I got ~970 seconds. I like the existential comments above each of the interactive points, and the inventory worked smoothly both giving and receiving items. No bugs! (except for those I was selling back to the big bug)
Cool concept for an idle game. The sound and look are spot on!
Clever, original, funny game. I am ALWAYS down to try surreal games. There are a few UI improvements that would make it smoother, but you took on a lot here and I'm impressed. I had to read through the comments several times to figure out how the hell to pass the "Country" part, but it was worth it. My team has been talking about doing a minigame rush, so I think I'll send this to them for research.
I love the look of this game, the humor, and the little details in the animations are impressive! I would have liked more of an explanation on how to play. I thought I was to just dodge the obstacles until I "fired" the toilet paper at the target. I played for quite a while not knowing that I was picking up guns to shoot. Wouldn't even need to fix anything in the game itself, just explain a bit more in your post here.
I really LOVE this idea. I did have a location that was off screen and it'd be nice to have a marker on the two starting locations to show where I should measure from. HOWEVER, I am super impressed with the ingenuity. I think you have something here.
I think it's quite difficult to develop puzzle games in a short window, so hats off to you! I liked that you mixed it up a bit and the timed element prevented me from thinking about it too much. Thank you!
I just started playing VS recently so had a good laugh when I started this blind. This game has good humor!
I really liked this! Intuitive, silly. I love that the level evolves as you play. The music matched the gameplay. And the running scoreboard! Awesome stuff.
I got some of the panic! I think a clock somewhere would really drive the panic, but you took on a lot here already and it's impressive.

The Depths of Magic by benjamm 2025-04-23T20:22:41Z ♥ 1
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEnnter The Depths!
Loved this. The animations are so good. I loved that the upgrades felt powerful. Kept me wanting to see what hte next room was like. Only issue I had was that the enemy spawns had to lead-in or neutral zone so the spawns were where most of my damage came from.
Really cool entry. Thank you!

Haha this is very similar to what we wanted our game to be when we started out, but shifted goals as we went along. I think the only issue would be tweaking the timing of everything, but that comes with testing and who has time for testing in a jam lol
Diving for Oxygen by Neon 2025-04-23T19:51:35Z ♥ 1
This is cool! Like, one jam's worth of Dwarf Fortress scope :) The score and the constant battling to not drown definitely score high for the mood and top scores for innovation. There were fun interactions when one of the maps generated a couple of choke points between the energy and oxygen, making some moments where the divers were trying to get out of each other's way. At first it looked like they could be stuck in a loop but they'd deviate and go around. I think the best balance I could find was 2x Oxygen, 1x Energy, 1x Hauler. The troupe seemed self-sufficient with that set up.
This is a lot to take on and have it all work. I'm impressed.

The music is top notch. That map is awesome. I like the movement on the craft. Give a high-five to whoever did all the elements that went into the cleaning: The laser hits in a way I'd expect, the pop sound, the confetti, the clouds of debris. All fun stuff.

Congrats on finishing your first jam! I haven't tried something quite similar to this, but there are a number of elements that feel very familiar in that I've experienced them going wrong, too. I say that in a sense of comradery and love for the pain and glory of game jam :)
It looks great! The craft feels floaty in a nice way. Levels and screen transitions can be very difficult to get right in a jam because they have to be tested so much. Audio cues can be tricky, too. The sound design is great. You also kept it to short clips. The collision cue is just repeating a lot. I think spacing out the meteors would help the pacing and give time to read the left bar, but that's also something that comes out of testing.
This is a great first attempt. Please make more!

This is a really cool game! The music and graphics are top notch. Unfortunately I do not see anything to interact with beyond getting the first two keys and opening the first locked door. I got the two safes open, got to the 3-key safe, and then spent a good half hour looking for somewhere to use either the konami code or recipe information. Think it says a lot that I wanted to spend that much time poking around, though. Nice work.
