Love the style and art you've gone for. Reminds me of metal slug. Only thing I found annoying was the camera. It's a bit too snappy and disorientating for my liking.

Lovely game, maybe instead of having certain events be needed and have random ones pop in, set a specific amount of events that need to be placed only and have certain rules such as lunch needs to be before studying or watching football with dad is 3 to 5 on only Saturday and Sunday. I don't know if that'd be too much for a jam game, but it would make it feel more like a puzzle the player would feel like they are actually organizing around someone's life.
Good luck on your future games. Had fun!
Cool idea. Impressed that you managed to get procedural generation working in such a short time frame, coding always takes longer than you think.
Everything artistic wise looks and plays great. I think even just crappy free sounds would have made it a lot more fun due to the audio feed back we get from things happening on screen. Also I'm not sure if you intended on letting the player fire everything at once. Looks great for a jam game!
Neat game, the hitbox and timing to reflect attacks was a little to small for me. Otherwise had fun, good luck on your other games!
Interesting idea, however part of the fun in bullet hells is fighting back. It felt more like a puzzle game.
Love the art tho.
Cool atmosphere and game idea! Didn't know what was going on tho and accidently stumbled into the end.
10/10 would redneck again
Dang, I'm jealous of your art skills. Enjoyed the few levels you had but the movement was a bit strange with the player rubber banding if I clicked too quickly. Good luck on polishing and adding levels.
Cool idea. I like the tone you went for. I find it chill and mysterious.
I'm not a fan of is those cone lights where you have to wait. I find making the player wait to traverse the world makes them not want to replay those segments if they die and have to go through the same waiting game.
Amazing idea using the theme.
I disliked how hard it was to place things. Maybe using the mouse instead of the player's facing direction to determine what direction to place things would make it easier to play and make it more fun.
Amazing energy and game. The characters are charming and the mini games even with the jank are quite fun.
Like the graphics, the screen only moving up when you hit the top seems strange to me. I want to be able to see what's coming down and not die by random when something happens to spawn on top of me right as I'm about to transition the screen. Also only being able to wall jump once kinda sucks.
Nice work overall!
Neat idea! It plays fairly well. Only thing missing is sound.
Neat idea of using the theme of limited space.
I think you could have made the space inside a bit bigger and added some levels with forced obstacles to engage the player a bit more. I'm also a little confused on where the customers spawn so it's hard to make any sort of design.
Cool puzzle game. Only thing is that your run can randomly end if a flower spawns in the wrong spot. That randomness feels bad for the player because they didn't cause the game over and it makes the player feel like that it was unfair. I think taking agency away from the player makes the failure less enjoyable and makes them less likely to replay your game. Love the art style!
Neat little puzzle game with some fun sound tracks. Only things are that it's hard to see the squares under the objects, the objects' hitbox to grab them could be bigger, and the sound transition between rooms could be made a little better by fading it in and out. Love the chill atmosphere!
Cool idea.
Love the art, but I think it needs some more sound effects for when the player shoots.
Nice arcadey game. Simple but done right. Only thing I would like to see changed is seeing how high up you are. Maybe having the penguin slightly shrink while moving up and then returning to normal while falling, plus adding a fake shadow would make it easier to judge where you are. This would help in making players feel like they made the mistake by jumping wrong instead of just being surprised when they plop into the water or hit the edge.
Neat!
Loved everything but the main menu. The chromatic aberration was way to much to look at.
Fun take on Asteroid. I think you have a bug where moving with W does not produce particles and sound, but moving with the arrow key does.
Great idea, reminds me of QWOP. Only thing is that moving the torso drags everything with it. I think you could keep the other body parts from moving or have them be less affected to keep things more interesting than moving the entire body around like a backwards snake. Amazing execution by the way!
It's a good try at a game. I think you've gotten yourself in trouble by trying to do too much. It's hard to make a game by yourself, but it's even harder to make a game with other people. You should consider making a more simple game to figure out how to work with your friends.
