I'm not quite sure what you're supposed to do, I got past the room with the message but I can't seem to do anything else

Nice game for having no experience with creating games
I don't fully get it, but nice game for a first game!!
Congrats on completing your first game! I'd recommend updating the description with the controls, I almost gave up in the first room with the note until I randomly pressed ESC. Also, when I got the key and left the room, the screen just went black. I think that was the end, but I'm not sure.
It's a good try at a game. I think you've gotten yourself in trouble by trying to do too much. It's hard to make a game by yourself, but it's even harder to make a game with other people. You should consider making a more simple game to figure out how to work with your friends.
Nice game well done
very buggy.
Honestly way better than what my first game was, keep it up!
i didn't get the main idea and where/when/what reflections were, but anyway it was good try, keep up the good work, guys!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR FEEDBACK, WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BETTER.
The atmosphere is quite oppressive but I'm not 100% sure what I'm supposed to be doing. Congrats on your first game!
Ну ещё чуть чуть и почти
Nice trial! Pretty impressive to count that it's your first work. Keep on stepping!
Ok so, I love the atmosphere and the graphics, they're dark and oppressive and that's what I love about story driven retro games like yours. Very good first game although I was not always sure what I was supposed to do at times.
Some feedback on the game:
- Don't force arrows for any kind of interaction in a game. Not everyone has arrows on their keyboard and it was hard for me to play with my 60% keyboard haha.
- We don't need to pick up the tape to play it. In fact I found the tape after playing it in the tv, which was confusing lmaooo.
Overall good game though, I wish you had more time to explore the lore in depth but I loved it anyway !
For having no experience you guys managed to do an impressive amount of work. Although I think I softlocked myself by going out the door in the first minute of the game.
Nice style but game is lacking, cool for your first attempt at games and coding i guess
some hints on how to play and giving the player a clear sense of their objective would be helpful. You knocked the graphics and mood out of the park!
For a first game it's interesting. The rudimentary graphic ended up being super original. It has a certain sinister atmosphere, the sounds helped to create a certain atmosphere. But there's nowhere to go. Then I was trapped in a square room. It seems like a limited space suited to the theme. It reminded me of Atari and made me want to also create something with super old and rudimentary graphics.
If this is the first time you have made a game then I'm impressed.
I can definitely see the "FAITH" inspiration in the visuals, and the sounds were really nice for crafting a creepy atmosphere. Gameplay wise, it could have been a little better and more clear- some interaction prompts would have been nice. The puzzle hints were cleverly written, though.
Overall, really solid first try.
Nice game for a first try. Prety atmospheric. I liked the graphics. I did get stuck on the first letter, until I read the comments. I thought ESC ment exit the game :), you should make it cleared that it means exit the close up. I got to the black screen, not sure if that is the ending, that should have been made cleared. Otherwise well made.
Needs controls posted somewhere, even if it's just in the description.
why can't i vote on humor? i thought "the *key* to *escape* is in your past" to be hilarious reference to esc key ^_^
Good start - be careful opening with an obscure puzzle in your first LD game because people will probably just assume it's broken. I lucked out with the ESC key as well (trying to quit after a while haha). Had a hard time making much progress but it felt good and interesting. Reminded me a lot of the FAITH games in style which I'm guessing were a major influence. This looks like it could shape up into something interesting - keep it up.
Good job on creating the atmosphere for a horror game.
It's a pity that the gameplay and logic are somewhat broken, but in any case, this prototype could serve as a foundation for a real horror quest game.
