I love the concept and the artwork of this game. The physics take a bit getting used to but the rest of the game makes up for it. Amazing entry!
A really solid game. It's quick and fun! Great job!
Really fun entry! It's a bit too sensitive but maybe i just gotta get used to it! Overall fun experience, well done!
A raelly good entry. Amazing artstyle, easy to understand but hard to beat, and a chilling atmosphere. Well done!
A well done visual novel, with a couple of great twitst.
Extremely fun to play with friends. It's a really good game and i like listening to my friends rage lol.
I dont know what i just played. I never thought i'd laugh on a personality test so hard. Also, i would rather stapler.
This would make a sick phone game to just whip out whenever you have free time. Amazing job!
Those sounds lmao
A fun concept that definetely fits the theme. Also the face the guy makes when he's eaitng lmao
Great little platformer with a cute artstyle and a really great mechanic. Well done!
A Fun experience! I'd never thought i would laugh on seeing the default cube thrown into a cauldron, or when seeing my house explode. Amazing entry!
Great concept and beautiful execution! That pixelart is really clean.
Survived under a rock! Great entry and was fun throwing physics objects around!
I can't believe this was made in 48 hours. Good job dude! I especially love the astonishing artstyle of it!
Good entry! Its incredible how you managed to fit it under 32kb. The ending texts are also pretty hilarious. image_2021-10-04_102856.png
Amazing entry with beautiful graphics and a funny ending. Also I. Want. Cheese.
Amazing game, the graphics are the perfect balance between 3d mixed with 2d elements. Well done!
Good game! I love how clean the pixelart is!
A very entertaining entry, man i really wish this was longer, and there were more live action films. The begining short movie sums up whats going through my head during a school exam.
I really love this entry. It gives off Keep talking and nobody explodes vibes while managing to stay original. I just really wish this was longer, i need more of this.
A great game! would've like more levels though.
A fun platformer with unique ideas! Would've loved to see more levels, it has a lot of potential. Great entry!
Amazing entry! Responsive controls, cute artstyle and easy to understand mechanics! Good job!
106.86 seconds! Amazing game with an approach to the theme i havent seen before!
Tetris with extra steps? sign me up! Amazing entry and a nice twist on the original tetris.
Good job! I got to 251! It starts getting really hard around 100. Had a good time!
Good job! Cool game, with an idea i haven't seen before. The game gets hard a bit too quickly, so its easy to understand but hard to master!
A really solid entry. Everything in it is good, it left me wanting more of it. Great job!
Really great game! I loved how you implementedt the theme! The controls felt really responsive, and it was overall a really amazing experience!
A well executed text-based story game with funny dialogue options and different routes to explore. Good entry!
What is this lmao. This is hilarious. This can actually be used to teach people!
@diccuric-sigeon That's a really great idea, im sure you'll succeed with your plan!
Amazing graphics with an ominous music to back it up. Really sets the mood. Good job!
I love the overall aesthetic and how everthing sticks together consistently. Great job!
An amazing entry! Very well made controls, with a good story and an amazing soundtrack! I only had one problem, and it was that i wanted more! I really enjoyed it! Good job! (Also nice synthwave music.)
Good game! I love the clean pixelart!
Everything escalated so quickly after i clicked on the windmill lmao. Absolutely hilarious entry!
I can't believe this was made for a gamejam. I honestly think this game has market capabilities. Amazing entry. Hats off to you guys!
Amazing game! Had a good laugh reading the messages and trying to not piss myself.
@ossi Thank you, i'm glad you enjoyed working at PlantBad :)
@defrag Thanks! Although, the reactor burning seems like something that shouldn't happen. Every reactor is losing power at the same 1.1 second rate. It could just be their distance from the coal in the middle! Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed your stay at PlantBad CO.
@jordwest Thanks! My friend is glad to hear you enjoyed his voice acting! Glad you enjoyed your stay at PlantBadCO!
@taffaz Sorry for the inconvenience, Glad you enjoyed your stay at PlantBad CO.
@zeli my man, the voice actor of the robots! Thanks dude <3
@gonzo13 Never trust the robots. Glad you enjoyed your time at PlantBad CO. !
@gamedevalexandr Thanks for playing! I should've spent a bit more time on the tutorial, thanks for the feedback!
@m11 Glad you enjoyed the little story of the AI takeover!
@jordan-pavlic Thanks for the feedback! I agree, i should've worked a bit more on the games main concept. I appreciate your comment!
@xenosns Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I have no clue whats causing that issue, i had my friends test it and a couple of them reported that issue and some of them didnt. Its apparently something to do with the UnityPlayer Web extension.
@agrimes Thanks for your comment! Im glad to hear not everybody is facing the mouse issue in the WebGL version!
@william-corrin Thanks for that very in-depth comment! I totally agree with your statements and i will try to improve of your feedback!
I will play everyones submissions when i get home, Thank you everyone for playing! Hope you enjoyed your time at PlantBad CO.
@anonymouspanda If thats the case then I have achieved what i strived for. It was meant to be difficult and have a dumb ending. :)
@algebruh Thank you! Yes, the super-secret ending is indeed the coolest part! (i love your name btw. AlgeBRUH lmao)
@flightless Glad to hear the WebGL version works for some people! I couldn't get the mouse jittering to stop, and most of my testers reported the issue so i put up a warning just in case, but I'm happy to hear not everyone is facing this issue!
@jonah-srg Thanks for playing! The voice over was a thing i wanted to do since the begining because i never did a good job at sound design in any of my games before. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Thanks for playing everyone! Hope you had fun at PlantBad CO.
@frankey333 Thanks for playing! I'm glad you haad no problem with the WebGL version. The monotone gameplay was done on purpose to simulate what working in a factory would be like in my opinion.
@aniki-ta Glad you enjoyed it!
@akos Thank you!
@dancsoaron I'am indeed Hungarian! Glad you enjoyed the game!
Thank you everyone for playing! I hope you enjoyed working at PlantBad CO.
@christian-zommerfelds Although i took some sound effects from third party sites, most of them are heavily mixed into something different, anyways I wrote a notice in the game's description, and during the compo submission time, took the game out of the "sound / music" category for that reason. You're right the compo rules state "Your game, all your content (i.e. Art, Music, Sound, etc) must be created in 48 hours." which i might've overlooked at the time of choosing the game's category. On the other hand though, on the game submission site, where you can choose to opt-out of categories, it states "Opt-out of categories here if you and your team didn't make all your graphics, audio, or music during the event. Many participants are making original graphics, audio and music from scratch during the event. As a courtesy, we ask you to opt-out if you didn't do the same" Which led me to believe if i opt-out, it would still count as a compo game. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. I have changed the game's category to EXTRA.
@christian-zommerfelds Upon re-reading the rules, i gotta say i wish it was made a bit clearer. I'm still not sure if its allowed or not because the rules say everything has to be yours, but the submission says if something is not yours you just have to opt-out of the category and opting out of categories is available in compos aswell. Because I'm no expert in Ludum Dares (this was only my third submission) in case anyone would consider this unfair I changed game's type to Extra. Until the next LD I'm going to ask around to see if using external sources are allowed if opting out of that category or not.
Feels really polished! My character got stuck a few times though. I love the different types of time measuring objects. A flipping hourglass lol
An interesting concept with good pixelart and theming! Great entry!
A really good idea with flawless execution! I can actually see myself playing this on a handheld device. Amazing work!
A very good and polished tower defense game with quite a bunch of content! Good job on finishing this!
I got nothing to say. Amazing game that's a lot of fun to play, with pleasing visuals and sound feedback. Great job!
Amazing game with a deep meaning. Never forget, all dogs go to heaven. :)
Pretty simple, but challenging game! Getting 3 of the same color was pretty difficult, but felt rewarding. Good job!
Nice entry! Amazing use of the color palette!
Good job on your first jam game! It has a promising concept, even though i feel like a game over screen was missing, i had waaaay too much fun clicking on the cards. I now have a 1.00GPA im suffering from extreme starvation, but at least i have over 30k$-s!
Really good entry. You could bring this to the market, its so high quality! Good job!
A fun and satisfying game to play. Really polished gameplay along with the charming visuals and audio work come together to create a fine experience. Great entry!
Solid entry! It reminds me a lot of "Motherload" the old flash game.
Goofy tile based puzzle game. I'm quite impressed by the amount of content and mechanics. Only problem I've faced is the occasional issue with picking up cards and some levels not utilizing all cards for their solutions, but overall its a very solid entry. Great job dev(s)!
Solid entry, really enjoyed the easy to understand mechanics, controls and the implementation of a leaderboard, reaching the top wasn't hard, but it did feel rewarding!
@shiba-pixels Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it and that the atmosphere did its job! I have to agree with you on the headbobbing part, looking back I could've decreased the bobbing intensity.
@horger Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
@kewinfanbruh Thank you!
@csubazurmedve It's on its way! :praisethelord:
@don-fouts Thanks so much!
@janinna21 Thanks! The cat appreciates your feedback as well!
@nirlandec Thanks for playing! We're glad the atmosphere worked so well!
@daniilprasolov Thank you!
@delauraen Thank you! We actually never even though of that haha. Might add that in a post-jam version!
@ethan-g Thanks for the feedback! We're going to take this into account in the post-jam version!
@uncleb Thank you so much for all your hard work! HAIL CLIPPY!
@xefande Sorry to hear you ran into so many issues! There is a post-jam version coming which addresses the aforementioned issues to hopefully bring the game into a state that is more to your liking! Thank you for the extensive feedback!
@oznarox Thanks for playing and the feedback! Controls are definitely a bit finnicky, will look into it in the post-jam version!
@petr-vejchoda Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it! We kind of ran out of time to make more of the gameplay, we should've focused on a simpler system than a custom file explorer haha, thanks for the feedback!
@scrapmetal Oof! Sorry for the headache mate! That was definitely not our intention. Thanks for the extensive feedback though! We're on our way to make a separate post-jam version and in that I have decreased the head-bobbing to the absolute bare minimum since so many people said the bobbing was a bit much. Sorry about it, but we're glad that other than that you had a good time!
@jordan-neff Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the atmosphere! Looking back I have to agree we should've made the transfers a bit quicker haha. Being forced to say no is definitely a bug as you should've been able to just continue with yes afterwards, and yeah there is an issue with the game over screen as the jumpscare animation doesn't remove the UI elements the player is in, so it just gets hidden by the computer screens. Some amateur mistakes slipped in. We're planning on releasing a separate post-jam version with bug-fixes and QOL improvements. It should come out tomorrow! Thank you for the feedback!
@mitch-miller Thanks for playing! Yeah we wanted to add something signaling that the computer has a floppy inside to sort of tell the player that they still have it in the computers but since it wasn't our main focus we didn't have time to add it. Glad you enjoyed the atmosphere though!
@minjutin Thanks for playing! We wanted to make sure the player will be discouraged as much as possible from saying no to ben.
@iron-head We're sorry to hear that you didn't have an enjoyable experience. The YES / NO issue is a known bug that has been fixed in the post-jam version, but since we can't modify the jam version it just stood its place in the game.
@gedvagenyo Thanks for playing! Well we were there because we had to fix the servers :D. Ben was our enemy because he got angry, because you told him that you don't need his help.
Was a bit confusing at first but quickly got the hang of it. The graphics were really pleasing to look at, the art style and the implementation of the theme is definitely a highlight. Great entry!
For having so much to worry about you did a good job with this entry. Would've liked a way to know the amount of health I had at all times, but other than that it was simple and the theme was implemented nicely.
Easy to control and enjoy. Only issue I ran into was the ammo slider overfilling but it gave me a good chuckle. Very polished and solid entry!
Interesting way of implementing the theme with a fun resize mechanic. Although I managed to fall out of the map on the second level, I enjoyed the experience! Fun entry!
Managed to escape despite losing all my body parts haha. Great entry!
This entry was one of the best I've seen. Everything was polished and all of the enemies mechanics were well though out. The level design wasn't annoying but it wasn't easy either. Really enjoyed this. Very fun game in all of its aspects!
Interesting idea! Took me a couple of tries to get it but it was smooth sailing afterwards. There's still a lot of potential for more mechanics but its impressive how much content was finished for the jam! Great entry!
For having no experience you guys managed to do an impressive amount of work. Although I think I softlocked myself by going out the door in the first minute of the game.
Amazing entry! Really enjoyed my time with it! The sound effects, clean art style and challenging puzzles were a blast to play through!
I really enjoyed the mixing mechanic, it was such a unique way of including the theme. This already feels like a fully fledged out game to be honest. Good job!
Great entry! All the sound effects were really satisfying to hear and understanding what to do was never a problem with the little hints!
Unique take on the theme! Adding differing visuals and tracks for stages was a nice touch, and being a priest who can turn into those who he beats up is a hilarious idea!
Amazing mood set by the tracks and the simplistic, but clear artstyle. What surprised me the most is how good the controls felt. It reminded me of how well big platformer titles feel to control. Great entry, would've loved to see more!
HTML5 version seems to have an issue with getting past the tutorial text sadly.
