Simple but enjoyable game ! It was very fun and I could've kept playing for a while. It felt really satisfying to manage to weave through huge swarms of bombs ! Nice entry !

Absolutely loved it ! I was a bit scared that the fire decay was just a gimmick at first, but you managed to turn it into a very interesting puzzle mechanic ! The graphics are stunning, its difficulty is just right, I had fun overall !
It took a bit of getting used to, but this game turned out to be really fun ! The art is charming, it's challenging enough, and I just love the way the PC and keyboard shake when you fix them. Well done !
A really solid entry overall ! I'm surprised you managed to fit so much content into the game. The artwork is nice, the dialog is funny and it's a really robust platformer. The level design is challenging enough but a bit too punishing, although I understand that it might have been intentional. I did manage to beat the game in the end, and it was well worth it. Incredible work !
This entry was quite fun overall ! I enjoyed watching the story unfold, and the concept of using the engine's interface for level selection was very interesting. The gameplay and graphics were a bit simple, although I understand why you went for that style, and it fits the story really well. Congrats on a great entry !
Hi @lovor ! Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. I was just wondering if you could tell me where exactly you got stuck in the first level (at the bottom, in the corners, etc.) ? I'm having trouble seeing myself and I'd like to understand what happened so I can look out for it in the future. Thanks a lot !
Hi @ryjcio ! Thank you for playing ! The level should still transition if you go through the door while Red is in it. However, if that does not work, you can always press [R] to restart the level. (This tip appears later in the game, it's my fault for not considering that it was possible to get stuck earlier on.) I appreciate you wanting to play more, have fun !
Edit: I went ahead and did more testing, if he gets stuck at the doorframe and you cannot reach the door's trigger, try going either to the right or below Red to make him move away or further in.
@lovor Thank you for informing me ! If you're willing to give it a second chance, Red Ball will keep some distance from most walls, like the upper one in the picture. Red Ball will dislodge himself if you go further up than him, since he always moves away from you. Thank you for making me aware of this, I have added a section about this mechanic in the game's description to make it clearer. You are not obligated to try the game again, but I would appreciate if you could, because there is plenty more content beyond the first level. Thank you for your time !
Liked the game ! I found it a bit hard at times, but it was still very fun. It fits the theme very well, and the upside-down mechanic was super creative. Nice entry !
This was a great concept ! The mechanics were pretty interesting and intuitive, and I liked how the physics reacted to the mass. The little policemen's reactions were really funny, too. The only thing I would look out for are the hitboxes, which seemed a little off. It was very fun, congrats !
Great interpretation of the theme ! The gameplay is creative and easy to get the hang of. The audio sets the circus atmosphere perfectly. It's an overall fun game !
Very lovely and enjoyable experience! The levels felt varied and weren't too repetitive while being straightforward, intuitive and fun to play through. Graphics were nice, sound was fitting and the puzzle-platforming was well thought out. I did find it weird that the game gave no indication when a box would get lost on the left side of the screen, but this is literally the only criticism I have! Nice work!
Feels incredibly nice to play! I ended up playing quite a bit more time then I thought I would. The procedural generation makes for an infinite supply of satisfying levels with enough parts to keep it interesting. Of course, the downside is that certain levels can easily be bypassed with a simpler solution than intended by the algorithm, but sometimes it can make for a fun part-saving puzzle. Either way, great work on the game!
Great work! It took a little tinkering to understand but I enjoyed my time playing
I thought the merge-to-harvest was a fun mechanic for the smoke collectors, it was a great way to get me to try managing my space efficiently. I was confused at first about what the boxes were for, but I figure their point was to get me to manage them so they wouldn't clog up too much space? I wish their purpose would've been told through the textbox like the collectors and lanes but I think it was clever nonetheless.
I did stumble upon this weird bug (In the downloadable windows version) where the game would just... stop? I could still place and merge elements but the turns would not progress and smoke clouds would not spawn. While I messed around in this state I also managed to stack two smoke collectors on top of each other and put a smoke collector inside of another. Here's a screenshot, if that helps: StoppedState.PNG
Either way, that did not ruin my experience (don't worry :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), I just couldn't complete the final mission as it also happened the second time I tried to play it. Artwork was cute and audio was soothing. I liked the concept and think it can built upon. Nice work!
Feels absolutely great to play! I enjoyed smashing through the levels and dodging projectiles. Controls were responsive and juicy. It reminded me of Superhot, combined with my favorite bullet hells! My only criticisms are the repetitiveness (fortunately it was just the right length to be perfectly enjoyable, but I wouldn't see many more levels without new mechanics being introduced) and that the last level felt like it could've been three different levels, as it was a bit annoying to run back and forth and to have to restart upon losing on the third section, but I did enjoy beating it nonetheless. Great work!
At first I was pretty confused that I would have to memorize 28 or so signals until you showed just how fun it could be to constantly switch between the clipboard and inputting signals while managing the various hazards. As the levels progressed I could feel myself getting more and more accustomed with the mechanics and the various hazards kept the whole experience engaging. Had a funny ending, too :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Great work overall!
Kinda wish it had a downloadable version tho, as the lag was a bit excessive, but I still managed to play through the whole game fine.
An overall very nice entry! Idea was great and well-executed, graphics were cute and polished and music was fitting. I do think however that the gameplay can get a bit repetitive and that there is a point where the game just starts putting in too many orders and becomes a bit overwhelming. I would've also liked the map to have a more equal amount of warehouses (as at some point there was 1 worm merchant for 3 water warehouses and 3 bakeries) and I also had no reason to reach for certain far away warehouses. I also encountered a few bugs with the UI not updating correctly and houses spawning in unreachable spaces, but nothing fundamentally game-breaking. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Either way, I had fun in the midst of path-drawing chaos. Congratulations!
Really enjoyed this game! The writing was impeccable and it had enough gameplay elements to keep me entertained. The interface was a bit small (especially the font) and cramped, although I understand that is a limitation of PICO-8 and the claustrophobic feel of the workspace fits the post office booth anyways :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: As @patatenouille mentioned, I got stuck on level 6 because I couldn't figure out how to flip the letters for the return adresses. (luckily I went back to finish the game after I read their comment, I had too much fun the first to miss that promotion ending!) I think a folded corner would've clued me in. I think a few QOL improvements and a touch of music could make this a worthy successor to Papers Please! Awesome work!
