Bonus points for enabling key rebinding! Also enjoyed how you made the changing of size an important mechanic.

Actually enjoyed this game, always enjoy platformers tho. The mass and size mechanics were well done, I liked being able to squish the enemies and press buttons when I got thicc. The art maybe looked slightly weird when it got resized.
Nice work for your first gamejam! Key rebinds are an easy thing to miss, and it is clear that you prioritised the player feel.
The sounds were also great and fit the theme perfectly. Great work, mate!
I really have fun to play this game) And i liked the color palette of the graphics
I liked that your speed and jump is affected by your size. The bright colors are nice but I think the art isn't cohesive. Overall, it was pretty enjoyable. I think this would make a good speedrun platformer.
I liked turning big and stomping the proton police!
Hey that was pretty good! I like how the sizew mechanics really makes a difference in the game! The music got really annoying after a while. Also I would rather have a very short game with an ending than a game that goes in circle forever, but that's me though.. ^^
This was cool! Linking a timer to your "health" and size, and the implications those changes has on the world around you, is really neat! I feel like the game didn't explore much that could be done with that concept, but I understand there's only so much you can do within the time limit. My biggest issue was the mass bar occasionally covering important areas and making it hard to see, but otherwise it was an enjoyable little game :)
Nice game :)
Very creative using mass both ways. Loved the panicking police.
The different pixel sizes aren't that good. You should avoid such.
What a cool mechanic, very fun! Enyoyed this little game pretty much! Also a good amount of content (10 Levels). Options and key bindings in the start screen are really pleasant, well done.
Impressive work for first game jam. Congrats
first game well done, gl next!
Fun little idea, but the bugs kinda broke it from me. I kept clipping into walls while small. I found the art really nice, but with the franticness of the gameplay, I wasn't able to appreciate it all that much. Maybe slowing it down a little would be nice!
Nice game. Like said by everyone, the size and mass change mechanics where absolutely good!
Wow you did a bunch of levels and introducing new mechanics, I'm impressed! (and jelous hehe). The frenetic music and the change of the speed of the character depending on the size is great and loved the funny moments like when a police was smashed or you were able to step onto them. Nice game, keep working on it!
Hey pretty cool idea. The gameplay could be polished a bit, I think the mass change could be discrete and maybe not time-based so that this becomes more puzzle-like, but other than that everything else is great. Nice job!
I like especially the tree in your game. Nice done!
I love the idea of the ga1me and the mechanics as well, I think the music could use some improvement but it's a Jam game after all, beautiful!
But where does the mass of the proton come from?
Very unique game. The style and the bizarreness of it made it feel kind of like an acid trip lmfao. Nonetheless I beat it, had some very interesting puzzle ideas like needing to wait for you to shrink to fit in places. Pretty fun, very solid entry
it reminds me of commander keen! Fun game, maybe a tad short
Fantastic idea, made me wish there was even more content for it! Great job on the idea, a lot of fun to play.
Really fun! I love how, like any great platformer, mechanics are introduced as the levels go on. Good amount of strategy involved and I liked how the music matched the game's fast-paced nature. Only problem I had was sometimes my character would get stuck on the walls, which was a problem in the level you have to fall through the hole. Otherwise, the levels were fun enough I played through it twice. Also I liked getting to choose what keys to use at the start. Great job!
Really enjoyed the game! it was super fun
I did think the lack of even and ending card / game over screen was pretty jarring at first I thought I had accidently ran in to a bug when it looped back to level 1.
I also got stuck on walls a lot, and felt like the hitbox on the player was pretty unclear.
all of that said its still one of the most fun games I've played during LD49 so far so great job!!
I really like the mechanics! Quite unique how you use the mass of the character in a puzzle/platformer. I think that the movement itself could use a little polish? If you jump into a wall, you actually get stuck in the wall where you touch it instead of stopping at the wall and falling down. Otherwise, I enjoyed it, thought it was pretty fun! Overall, it was a great job!
I agree with the other comments- this is a unique idea for a mechanic (and well executed too)! I can see a lot of potential with this mechanic, and it's great that you explored the three main ones (jump height, weight, and character size) a bit.
These aren't big issues, but I noticed collision with walls was kinda jumpy and I was able to run outside of the level. The game was rather easy as well- but that's fine, I had fun playing it.
I really liked how the controls were simple and the mechanic was intuitive to learn. Good job on that. The pixel art was nice, too.
I really loved the artwork! I was in awe when I saw it!!!
I really liked this one. I liked how the physics changed as your mass did, I liked the mechanics with the candy, I liked being able to run people over if I was bigger than them. 10/10 all around.
This was a great concept ! The mechanics were pretty interesting and intuitive, and I liked how the physics reacted to the mass. The little policemen's reactions were really funny, too. The only thing I would look out for are the hitboxes, which seemed a little off. It was very fun, congrats !
Nice theme usage! And mechanics are fluid. Congrats for the great entry!
Creative use of the theme. I enjoyed playing it.
I like the atomic justification for size changing! Quite odd how the levels just loop and after you beat the 10th level, you are just kicked back to the first level. I replayed the ten levels again and couldn't notice if there was a difference, so the game definitely needs a "You won" screen.
Congratulations for a nice first time at the game jam! The idea of combining size changing with platform is very interesting. There's some bugs with hitboxes, but I think with more time you can polish the game even better. I know how hard it's to do programming and art all by yourself. Keep developing games and tranning your skill, I hope to see you again next LD. Good job.
Nice! I enjoyed the creativity with gameplay elements, and how well they are introduced: exploiting the shrinking/ growing of the player, the candies, needing a certain mass for pressing the buttons... I always knew what to do, even tough everything was a novel concept!
The only thing would that would need more work is the player movement because it was hard to control at times (I'd suggest adding inertia to the player)
Other than that it's very good! Congrats!
Really nice submission for a first jam!
The concept is really nice and works very well. I think it could be a little more polished, as the jumps when the mass are really low are way too high, but it works properly so it's not a nuisance in a jam game.
Also, congrats on developing multiple levels that explore particular aspects of the core mechanic.
Good job!
