Nice aesthetic and cool idea with the movement between squares. Struggled to grasp what was happening in the combat, but enjoyed overall. Cool use of the theme.

@dennis-magnusson @darandin Thanks and I agree with you both. Ended up going down the more artsy route for this, sacrificing a lot of the responsiveness and gamey elements to evoke more of a helpless, exhausting feeling. Won't be for everyone, ofcourse. Thanks for playing.

@scalliondelight Thanks for the kind words, there's a bunch of QoL and additional features (like number key selection and more decisions) that would have made it if wasn't for the 48hr rush xD
Great game, thought the graphics and overall style was great. Loved the vibe.
I would suggest checking to see if the player is moving towards a surface before 'climbing' it? Had difficulty not climbing or sticking to a surface, even when not holding the key.
The transition between levels was really cool and it was a nice challenge. Good job!
Entertaining and surprisingly challenging. There's definitely room for more depth and mechanics that offer different playstyles, but for the time allowed this is good fun :)

Fun game and controls feel smooth. Only thing I would say is it seems easy to stay in one spot and keep shooting to survive longer, so having limited bullets would make it more of a challenge and force you to move around. Good job overall!

Really impressive entry, had fun playing it and thought the visuals and music were great. Had trouble aiming sometimes which made some parts difficult, but really good job overall :)
Few bugs aside, this felt like more than just a jam game and the card-based combat was easy to grasp :)
Nice game, I liked the idea and the art. It does become a bit repetitive with the enemies always coming from the same place, and I didn't really end up using the platforms much apart from getting the bucket. But overall impressive for the limited time! Good job :)

Had a fun time and especially loved the nuke. Could imagine it being expanded if you had more time to use a wider range of approaches and more variety in the asteroids. But for the time given I think this is really cool :)

Had fun playing this game, thought the graphics and audio was great. While it is repetitive, I get that that's kind of the point. With more time you could have solved that, but for a game jam this is great
Liked the idea, good use of the theme. The UI did a great job of showing the progression of the meltdown and the evacuation. Ngl was pretty confused, but loved the overtop death camera shake :) Good job!

One of the most difficult games I've played this jam, felt the multitask requirements may have been a bit much, but a fun time nonetheless!
This a big theme and mood to tackle for LD and you've done a great job, especially considering the time. While a lot of the choices were quite straightforward/obvious, they were still an interesting idea and I could imagine something with more ambiguity / greyness being really effective. Nice job :)
Loved the sound effects and graphics and found it fun to drive around. Would have been nice to be able to skip the intro text when trying to replay the game, but good job overall!
