Very satisfying to play! The menu navigation is clever, and the music is great :) I was able to get 104 on medium and 54 on hard

I love how nice and colorful the art is in this game!
I like the premise of the game and the writing is good, but I couldn't make it past the difficulty spike around 250 and it would have taken a little too long to get back there after game over. A more forgiving system with multiple lives or just being able to restart from a checkpoint would have improved this a lot-- I would have loved to have seen the rest of the content!
Love the look of this game, but it's so hard!! I couldn't make it past floor 2, but maybe I'm just bad at video games :p
Fun game! The art and animation are really adorable, and the gameplay is fun but a little bit rough around the edges. I got stuck to walls a lot which could be frustrating when getting unstuck meant losing more precious health.
It might be cool if health only went down when you moved/took actions, allowing players to be a little more thoughtful and plan out their moves
Amazing art! The gameplay is really smooth too
I loved this game! The art is wonderful and the writing is very funny. I loved the nested storytelling and I lost it during the seinfeld chapter
Great concept; I really enjoy the clicker-style gameplay with the hacking theme! The balance at the start was great when I was frantically trying to buy all the equipment I needed, but the difficulty capped out pretty quickly when I ran out of new nodes to discover and had my shields up 100% of the time. Good job overall though!!
I'm a big fan of tower defense :) I love how much variety there is in the different types of wizards, I feel like it's way beyond the number of options that I'd expect for a game this size! I'm sad that the number of wizards you can have on the field is so limited, though, because it means I don't get to experiment with different combos as much as I'd want.
This is my favorite that I've played so far! I feel so seen by this game haha... just balancing the different bars is enough work in itself, and I only managed to crank out one file every few minutes. It's hard to call it _fun_, exactly, but it captures the theme very well. The graphics and the music are also lovely!
Making a game over SSH is such a cool concept!! The ascii art is lovely and the concept is so cute... I could only keep my musshi alive a little over a minute though. The heart rate counter seems to run at a bit of a delay which makes it tricky. Overall love the game though!
Really fun game! I love the deck building aspect, and the balance is really good for a game made in such a short span of time. Even though the enemies weren't super challenging, I still had fun devising my strategy. It does seem like the enemies are reluctant to drop rocks on your plants, which would have definitely made it more challenging against some opponents. Maybe it was just RNG, but in a couple rounds the AI just dropped rocks and didn't really plant anything for almost the whole game.
Fun and well-done game!! The way that the cities grow and the spaceships abduct people out of individual apartments works really well. I like all the mechanics in there, but the balance could be tweaked to make it more exciting. Upgrades took a really long time to get, and I never really came close to dying or running out of people.
This looks sooo cute but didn't run in my browser :( I'll definitely be checking back though because I'd love to play it
Cute game! It would be cool if there were some bonus for hitting fish harder (or maybe there is but I didn't see?). In any case it seems worth it just to see them go flying off the screen :p I think this game would have really benefited from some sound. A nice sound effect when you hit the fish would be really satisfying (the game is called 'whap' after all :p) and some tranquil music would add a lot to the mood.
This is a really cool idea! I liked playing the different minigames. It would be cool if there was something you can do with your money, but I can also see that there's a lot of different things going on already and that could be tricky to add
the inner machinations of your game are an enigma :p
Really amazing game! The graphics are so pretty, the controls work well, and the concept is really cool. After the third level my only option was to go back and improve, and I'm not sure if that's because I had reached the end or if I had not done the level well enough :p I guess I was hoping that I could play more, but it's already very impressive for the time frame.
Cute game! it was a little tricky to get the hang of the pacing- it took me a really long time to save up for one seed.
Super cool puzzle game! I agree with others that more explanation and visual aids would be helpful, but I was able to figure it out after a little while.
Cute premise for a game, I like the idea of being a witch harvesting ingredients. I wish there were more upgrades, maybe allowing more items to spawn or giving you powers like picking them up from farther away. A bigger map would be cool too-- I was able to harvest everything in my garden right from the beginning which made the movement speed a little unnecessary.
This game is so cute and pretty, the graphics remind me of wooden toys that a kid would play with. I also really like the recorded music and sound effects, it contributes to the game's friendly vibe :)
The art is amazing, especially in the way everything is animated-- the game feels very alive. The sound design is great too, I love how much weight the shooting has. I was pretty confused why my plants are attacking me though, it seems pretty different from how I'd expect a tower defense game to work
Turning the theme into a physics game was really fun! I also found it pretty funny how the goods that you're carrying ramp up from level to level :p One issue I ran into was that during stage 5 my game dropped to about 1 frame per second. I'm not sure if it was something about the collisions with the terrain, or if it was something to do with the dozen pegasuses (pegasi?) that I had in the back of my truck. The rest of the game worked well though! If I had to suggest an area for improvement I'd say the art could be a little bit more cohesive. Overall really liked the game though
The graphics and music remind me of burger time :) I had a little bit of a hard time getting the hang of it, maybe starting off with some easy orders to guide the player would have helped
Fun game! I can't escape the wheatshifter for my life lol. The art style is really nice and spooky and having a level editor is really cool!
I love the art in this game, and the overall look and vibe! I found it a little bit difficult to control, but it's satisfying to get big combos
Really cool! The puzzles are really tricky and well laid out.
I love the concept, it's such a cool puzzle game! I could even see it being a nice way to introduce people to the concept of programming. My one complaint is that the art is so low-res that it was a little hard for me to read some of the rotation symbols or see what direction the harvester was facing. But the retro vibe is overall really nice
I like the pixelart graphics and the physics! I didn't have a friend to play with me but I tried it out anyways and I think it would be fun with another person. It reminds me of hungry hungry hippos :p
The controls for ordering around my nimkips worked really well! I thought the game was overall pretty fun. It did drag towards the end a bit though-- the walk speed is a little slow so I spend a long time wandering trying to find the last metal. Something like a minimap or just faster walking would make that better I think
Really great game!! I love how well the pieces fit together, and how it also is accurate to the dune lore at the same time :) The sound design is fantastic as well. I would love if there were more levels, or a way to replay the game on a different random map
It was really fun raising a bunch of vassals to follow me around! I did get stuck in the mana-harvesting animation after a little while and had to quit. The graphics are pretty also! I wasn't sure what the goal was, or if you can just keep going forever.
Really fun and satisfying! Everything is so polished and nicely balanced, it's executed really well. I also love the music
Connecting 2 games like this is such a creative idea, it's really cool to see! I don't think I quite got the hang of the hagging, I was mostly selling things for less than I started :p
Really fun game!! The level design was great, and I had a lot of fun coming up with a strategy to get through the level and then executing it. I like how some of them had more than one way to complete it. It would be cool if the game were more connected to harvesting the bodies, like maybe having to drag them off to a drop point?
Clever take on the theme! I enjoy the simple art style and colors that you used, and it's pretty satisfying to click away the viruses. I made it 86 seconds-- the difficulty ramped up really quickly
The puzzles are clever! I had a little bit of trouble at first figuring out what different object types did.
Really cute game!! I love the sprites so much
I really enjoyed the sound effects and hand-drawn graphics, it gives the whole game a nice feel :) It would be cool to have a score or something at the end, although I might have just missed it if there's an ending because I couldn't survive for very long :p
I'm getting an error on the web version... "The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)"
Loved your game! The graphics and the music contributed to a really relaxing mood. And I found myself thinking really hard and strategizing how to grow my crops. It was really challenging, I only made it about 20 days, but I think I can do better next time I play :)
I loved the animations and sound, it's such a satisfying game and I got hypnotized for a little while playing it. It does definitely slow down a little as you go... it can be a little frustrating to wait so long to wait for the tools you need
Really sweet game... I definitely got attached to my little plant. I like how you took a simple concept and made it into something that brought out lots of feelings
aww thanks so much!
@john-gabriel I'm glad you liked it, I hope that your nephew doesn't get traumatized by my game :p
@fnkee aww thank you so much for the comment, I'm so glad that you enjoyed the story!!! I find it really funny that it seems to be teaching anatomy unintentionally :p
Thank you all so much for your comments!! I'm super excited that people seem to like my game!! Sorry I've fallen a little bit behind replying :p
@adis I'm not a medical student, no :p Just a programmer who probably reads WebMD too much lol
@nyxkn Thanks for your feedback!! I went back and forth on balancing the damage mechanic... I wanted there to be some tension so it wasn't just like scratching a lotto ticket :p But maybe a timer like @frib suggests could be another interesting way to add challenge
@geraldfingburke I'm so glad you liked it, your comment means a lot :) I did see some other pretty cool organ harvesting games also!
@publicidadeba childhood urge to harvest organs? should we be worried? :p
@pazzi I'm glad that you enjoyed it! I was considering making a bloodless setting for more squeamish players but it would have required basically remaking all of the art assets and I sadly didn't have time :p
@rogerw that's a great suggestion! The way that I wrote the logic to determine if an organ is uncovered is kinda hacky (it creates two images, one of the organ and one of the organ masked by the layer of cuts and then does pixel comparisons) so I'm not sure if checking too often would degrade performance...
@danmerey thanks so much for the feedback! I agree that there could be more in the game to help find the organs. I was originally thinking of having them all scrambled up and having some mechanic where you could probe for them before you extract them. But I ended up just trying to put them in vaguely anatomically accurate places (with some exceptions :p)
BTW Potion Craft is one of my favorite games :)
Cool game, I enjoy the top-down 3d graphics :) I wish I had more of an indication of how much it cost to buy different things, and how much money I had from harvesting my crops.
Really amazing game! The gameplay is great and really satisfying, I love the variety of upgrades, and the animations are so good. I love the effect when you level up :) One thing I think would be nice would be if there were some kind of texture for the terrain around you-- something about having a featureless solid-color background makes it feel strange to move around
I really enjoyed the music and the graphics in your game! It's very cute
This game is really clever! It was interesting having to make ethical decisions and figure out my rules for who I would kill to save whom. I also thought the dialogue was funny when I tried refusing and ending the game :p
fun game!! I enjoy the clicker style of game, and this one had such cute graphics and nice audio
I really like the purple color palette; all the art is so cute! Fun game and feels nicely polished
I'm having a bug where the main menu is cut off in the HTML5 version, so I can't start the game. I'll give it another try once it's fixed though!
Looks like the web version is not working... "Error The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)"
Really fun game! I was really hoping for some banjo music while I raced around a corn field and I was not let down :) I like how the harvesting affects your speed, and the way that the difficulty ramps up by adding obstacles on later laps is cool too!
Cute! It's pretty satisfying to shoot some cows and run around picking up crops
Great concept and really well executed! I love how the different element types also have different shapes to their area of effect. It's definitely hard to keep up with as it goes on.. it would be cool if there were some strategic ways to line up your attacks and kill more plants with a chain reaction or something. Of course that would be tricky to balance, and the game as it is right now works really well :)
I loved this game! The art is amazing, and the gameplay is really fun and easy to pick up. The writing is really cute too, I like the ghosts' little speech bubbles and the text when you light up the graves
I'm getting a bug in the web version where WASD isn't working... I think the embed in the page isn't being focused for some reason. Looks cute though, and I'll give it another try if there's a fix!
Really fun game! I found it very satisfying to play :) It took me a little bit before I realized that you need to start the combine before enemies will show up-- more instruction might help there!
This game is really cute! I found it pretty hard to control with the low gravity and circular platforms though... But it was still fun bouncing between planets :)
Fun game! I didn't think of harvesting data for the theme, but it's really clever. The difficulty is really frantic, it might be easier if it ramped up more slowly?
Funny concept, and I like the interface it reminds me of old CD-rom games I played as a kid. I was not quite able to figure out how to make money at first-- I didn't realize I could buy a house by clicking it at first. I enjoy clicker/management type games so I see where this could be fun if you add some instructions to your page!
Fun game! I love that the mini-map works, and the card-based combat is really cool
Amazing atmosphere and poignant ending. The psychedelic visuals and the music at the end reminded me of David Lynch a lot. Like others said I do wish that the items were scattered about a bit more so that it felt more like a scavenger hunt and less ferrying items from your shed. The art was really effective
Cool game! It took me a little bit to figure out what exactly I was supposed to do. I think more specific instructions would help a lot, at least to explain that the candle needs to be on the summoning circle, and that the ghosts need to go on the arrow tile. Once I figured that out though the puzzle design is really neat! Good job :)
So cute! I particularly liked the voice acting in the game. It was really hard though! I guess that makes it accurate at least haha
Hmm getting a blank page when I open the game. No errors in the JS console, and the page is loading (I can see a canvas and script tag in the DOM). I am on Firefox on Linux. Happy to come back and review if there's a fix!
I love seeing something in the dating sim genre, and the character designs are really good!! I had a little trouble figuring out the gameplay-- I was avoiding the pentagrams at first until I accidentally got one and realized it was how I get materials.
I think I may be experiencing a bug where no enemies spawn. I'm just in an empty graveyard where I can walk around and summon fireballs
Hm, no errors in the console and actually this time I loaded the game Zombies are spawning but just very very infrequently (maybe once per couple minutes)
Ahh haha I didn't quite connect that. Thank you!
Incredible game! The art and sound are amazing and overall there is wayy more polish than anyone could expect of a 72-hour game, but I think what stands out the most is the design of the dungeons that really feel like they're out of a Zelda game. It was so skillful the way that the mechanics of pushing rocks was slowly built up ahead of getting the rock-summoning spell.
Great game!! I felt like the amount of things that needed to be managed was just right. There was good replay value as well once I had a good grasp on the strategy. If I could give one suggestion, I wish that the rooms were labeled or had some kind of icon. It was hard to figure out which was the kitchen, for instance, while working under time pressure.
Nice, it's satisfying to see your island grow! I think the movement and camera could be improved a bit, I'd prefer slow but steady movement to the lurching movement. I liked watching my little guys run around though
@cibums @lexgear @sirjupitron @owtuvammo thank you!! I'm really glad that you enjoyed my game :))
@vegeo Interesting! I'll see if I can figure out that bug.
@stmatn I just tried to put a list of souls on the listing, but I don't think there's any option for spoiler tags here. I'm just going to assume anyone reading this far into the comments has played though and post them here for you:
1. Dave. 2. Alice 3. Barry 4. Kevin. 5. Long-Fingers Larry 6. Trudy 7. Ruth 8. Lab 8 Researcher 9. Piano 10. Jimothy 11. Orpheus 12. Patient 45683 13. Blademaster 14. Infernus 15. Mesopotamian Copper Merchant 16. Maya 17. Charlotte
@krisss-gonko I understand, these things happen :p Glad you found the easter egg haha, I made it to be the second-rarest pull in the game.
@dasilvacontin Yeah, the crash on OSX is a known bug. It has something to do with Godot 4, and maybe the settings that I'm using to publish to HTML5. I may just release a native OSX build if I can figure out all the signing required for that. Unfortunately I haven't got a mac to test on :/
@brainles-etertainment yeah-- I do wish I had made that a little longer or maybe used something other than a timer (like a fixed number of calls per day)
Cute, I like the overall format of a map filled with little minigames. The slots were a little bit boring though, I think they could have gone a lot faster.
Amazing game, I had so much fun! It had a perfect level of challenge for this size of game, and enough mechanics being introduced to keep it interesting all the way through. I think my favorite thing in the game was the music in the kitchen level-- it sounded like it could have been the theme for a town in one of the GBA pokemon games :)
This was really fun and cute! I particularly enjoyed all the names of the different demons that you summon. The controls when gardening felt really slick but I think the gardening book was a little hard to navigate. Good job on the game :)
Cute game! The tiny baby skeletons made me laugh :) I was unable to complete the game unfortunately because I got soft-locked during the elevator climb-- I kept trying to reset but it spawned me offscreen and I couldn't get the elevator platform. I thought it was cool how many different uses you came up with for the skeleton summoning mechanic
Great game, really addicting! I wish I could go longer than 10 turns-- with the current time limit it seems like it ends just as I'm getting going :)
Had a bit of difficulty figuring out the controls at first, but once the game clicked for me it was really cool! The puzzle design is really good and clever. I personally could have done without the darkness in the last level.
I really loved this game! The art is amazing and the different typing sounds depending on the character is a nice touch. I'm a big fan of the visual novel style (I did a somewhat similar format for my entry). Overall the level of polish is really cool and although the game was short I felt like it was satisfying to beat!
Really cute game! I loved the art and Manku's design, and the framing of the game as a livestream was really cute! I think the gameplay was fun too, and I like how the challenge ramped up a bit with the hats on the rabbits.
Cute game! The tutorial was a great touch, and the art was really nice. I think a hit sound and animation (like enemies flashing on hit) would go a really long way. It was a little tricky to see what my golems were doing.
Really fun concept! I enjoyed learning how to chain items together to create the desired effect. The audio is really cute too. I did run into a case where the game got stuck, I think the items I combined may have created a loop or something. It was on the level where I needed to make a mystical creature, but I don't remember all the items I put in that caused the issue :/
Really cute and fun game! It has a lot of depth, making an arrangement that will end up with high-scoring evolutions is tricky!
This is a clever concept! I thought the design of the second level was really cool, where you'll end up back in the same state unless you figure out that you can move into a space that's currently filled with a cell. Like someone else mentioned, I think having the ability to move without confirming your click would be nice
Awesome game! I got sucked into finding the best strategy and leveling up my froge army :) I love seeing other players creations too! It feels very complete too. If I had one suggestion, it would be to have an XP system so that you can't reach a super high level just destroying level 0 armies.
Cute concept! I really like the design of Mon :) Like others said, adding to the interactivity would be fun, maybe being able to add in toys and see Mon bat them around
@lllarso we might release a post jam version! we're definitely going to include balance changes and fixes. we might try to add mobile support too :) not sure about new content yet though
@recher thank you so much for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)
The ending requires five goobers to survive the lobby door. So if you send that many but some of them die due to the danger of the door, you don't succeed. you need either a very big hand, or some of the protective goobers to prevent death. We definitely could have communicated it more clearly though; the win was just one of the last things we completed.
Agreed on showing breeding combinations once they've been discovered! We may release a post-jam version with some features like that we couldn't fit :)
Great game! I had some trouble figuring out what to do at first but it felt really satisfying to take care of them once I figured it out. The difficulty curve is fun, towards the end I was having to figure out how to get more than one objective taken care of on each of my trips back and forth to the kitchen and past the light switch. The graphics are also extremely cute. Good job! :)
The music and animations are cute! I kept dying and didn't understand why, though. It seemed like eating flies killed me?
Cool concept! It felt satisfying when I got them to do the right thing on the first couple levels! I did have some confusion around the "radius" control in the third level though, because I wasn't sure what the units were. I tried some trial and error but I either got the units wrong or wired things up incorrectly
Love the art style! Reminds me of Paper Mario, which is one of my favorite games :) I did have some trouble figuring out the reach on my net for capturing creatures, so I was not able to get the one in the park before he killed me :p
