LD53 — Delivery

Then Came A Stork by bonkibot 2024-10-14T02:37:11Z

I dig the vibes! The background is so simple but so beautiful to look at. The package I was supposed to pick up using VTOL was a little easy to miss, I ended up flying past it for a long time before turning back to find it.

LD54 — Limited Space

windowkill by torcado 2023-10-07T00:34:41Z

This is such an innovative idea! Never would've thought that moving the windows could be a part of the gameplay! It's a polished game even without the moving windows mechanic. This game is truly amazing. Only thing I would say is that the game is getting pretty laggy towards the end, it's affecting gameplay a little bit, but having to resize the windows constantly I get why the game would take a toll on performance, I'd love to revisit the game if it gets optimized!

PhotoSquatch by digitaldude555 2023-10-04T04:16:54Z

Hmmm the controls are a little hard to get use to, I couldn't figure out the goal of the game. But I guess there's only so much you can do alone in 12 hours!

Red Giant by Ajitesh Misra 2023-10-04T05:00:12Z

The post processing looks really nice! But there were too much gameplay content though, I kinda just flew forward and that's it. But I can tell that you're interpreting the word Space as outer space which is a cool.

Bearrow by LoparPanda 2023-10-04T04:43:32Z

The camera movement felt really smooth! The bow animation was nice too. Wish there were more gameplay content. Good job!

Gulvis Journey by J0ye 2023-10-03T01:21:29Z

Such a cool idea! The katana animations are so smooth I love'em. The game is also very fitting to the theme! Good job!

Notable Deeds by Yheeky 2023-10-03T01:39:34Z

Pretty wholesome game! I like the stories that comes through the certificates! Though I had some trouble understanding the controls at the beginning, didn't know I had to move my cursor to the left side after clicking accept.

Death Row by elq 2023-10-02T23:23:22Z

The atmosphere is awesome! It really made me tense up. I also liked the open ending.

Girder Panic by matt1will 2023-10-02T23:27:11Z

I really liked the effects, especially when the walls are pushed back, it feels so good. Though I found it a little hard to hit the enemies mid air with the small dagger.

Quicksand by Deruitda 2023-10-02T23:24:49Z

Cool concept! Loved the audio! I noticed that the sand fills in from different locations based on the level which is pretty nice. Though I found it a little hard to control the movement at times.

Untitled Goo Game by RumiaObsessed 2023-10-04T04:23:38Z

The goal of the game was clear and controls were easy to understand! The art is pretty good too! Wish there were more levels though, I finished the game pretty quickly. Good work!

Pixel Piles by Gabriel Chan 2023-10-06T04:34:55Z

Very fun and challenging game! Wish I could see more "next" blocks so I can plan my movement ahead.

WordDish by Wolforce 2023-10-06T18:34:40Z

Very fun game! Feels very much like Wordle. One thing I'll point out is that when the objective words contain rare letters, I had to go through many other words before I can get one of those rare letters, it was taking a little too long.

Packed to the Gills by npckc 2023-10-05T06:18:10Z

The graphics are so cute! The music is so good too. Really liked the octopus! Wish the levels could be a little randomized so the player don't see the same layout repeatedly.

Oh, I'm Dreaming by Ghostskill24 2023-10-03T01:48:15Z

Very creative concept! I think this idea really has some potential. Even though the character is trapped in a limited space, the character has seemingly unlimited thoughts. I was hoping that getting some combination of objects would allow me to proceed to the next room or something. Good job!

Animal Teleporting by JamesW 2023-10-04T17:57:05Z

The puzzles are soooo well designed! I absolutely enjoyed playing all of the levels! The abilities of different animals are so creative! And it never felt like a level was too hard or too easy, new concepts are introduced in a good pace. The graphics are so cute and the music is so chill! I loved the game! The only minor thing I would say is that I wish I could switch animals with the keyboard so I don't have to touch the mouse at all (I'm lazy I know lol)

Penguin Escape by herman6006 2023-10-06T16:36:45Z

The intense atmosphere was really good! Maybe the intensive feeling is something you can explore a little more in the future. The machine on the top left was a little hard to play with, I would frequently miss the bars even though it felt like it should've been a hit.

Cave to escape by Starfall 2023-10-04T04:35:59Z

I wasn't able to play the web version, but I did play the downloaded version. Couldn't figure out how to open the doors, I'm guessing they open on their own when the walls start to fill in? But there weren't any health bars, so I didn't really know what I was supposed to do. The large enemy looked really cool though, and I can see how it's tied to the theme. Good job!

Compact Looter by Qaolin 2023-10-03T01:57:13Z

The graphics look amazing! The models look great, and the render quality is awesome. Though the mouse sensitivity was so high I got a little motion sick after a while.

Glutton-Free by andypang1010 2023-10-02T21:00:15Z

We spent a LOT of time working on the soft body physics of the main character, and I'm so happy with how it turned out!

inside-job by gdagds 2023-10-04T04:25:33Z

Wish you could copy a game that fits the theme instead :p

Black0ut by Grm 2023-10-04T04:54:00Z

I got a 404 as well, but I did download the game. It's nice that you had a complete set of menus. The game has pretty good horror vibes, the scary atmosphere was good. And the movement control felt pretty good too. Though sometimes I couldn't understand how I'm dying, I can tell I will die if I'm in the dark, but sometimes I would die even if I'm in the light. Also I didn't understand what I'm supposed to do with my abilities. After I got to the stairs, I wasn't sure where I'm supposed to go. Good job on all the UI though! They look great

Don't Touch The Pylon. by Ezard94 2023-10-04T18:18:39Z

Nice pixel art! The music is nice too. The controls are a little hard to use though.

LD55 — Summoning

Kaiju Command by Nathan 2024-04-18T04:05:06Z

Interesting concept, seems like a video game where you need to balance the number of structures built and creatures summoned. Took me a long time to understand what's going on and what I'm supposed to do. While I was playing the game I found myself focusing too much on typing the right command that I lost track of what's going on on the map. I imagine it took a lot of effort balancing the mana and credit, good job!

The Chosen One by hulien22 2024-04-18T04:35:47Z

I had fun playing the game! The fact that other players could also pick up your items makes you think about strategically placing them at the right spots, very interesting mechanice! The shop refreshing constantly makes you think about which item to save in your inventory. I can see this becoming a fun multiplayer game! Good job :D

The Joshening by Pulni 2024-04-17T01:43:17Z

Jooosh is toooo good! I just ended up endlessly summoning Joshes, wish Fluff and Patrick could have some love and get stronger abilities XD

Idle Hands by Saryah 2024-04-18T04:22:19Z

The summoning sequence is very cool and well made, looks sooo smooth. I only played a couple of rounds but I wish there could be a little more challenge finding the objects. If there's something I could do while waiting in the room would also be nice. Good job! Crab <3

Aurora's Ascendance: Orbs of Destiny by Unbreakable 2024-04-16T15:37:16Z

I enjoyed playing the game! The orb selection mechanic is very cool. The way the orbs follow the player smoothly looks really nice too! I wish the spell cast area could be a little more generous, sometimes I feel like it should've hit the enemy but it didn't.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Mini Menaces by block97 2024-10-14T02:42:21Z

Cute game! I really like the music! It was a little hard to control though.

Deflummoxer by unless games 2024-10-08T02:18:13Z

Oh I love the minimal graphics, the mookies look sooo fun. The audio is super fun too XD. Feels like a really good mini mobile game.

Space Invaders by Jiri Hysek 2024-10-14T03:03:43Z

Very interesting twist to traditional platformers! It took awhile to get userd to inverting the controls when I'm up side down, but it felt more like a uniqueness of the game rather than a frustration. The graphics are nice too! Sometimes when I double jump it sends me back to the "ground" instead of towards the direction I was jumping, that felt a little frustrating.

Incandescent by Ray Himmel 2024-10-14T03:15:24Z

The art and music are really good! Wasn't sure how to play the game at first. After figuring out I need to click the stars, I couldn't seem to ever get enough score because the stars were spawning in the bottom left corner and I'm guessing some of them aren't showing on my screen. Screenshot 2024-10-13 221054.png

MicroMan by Johnathan Peres 2024-10-14T02:48:35Z

Interesting mechanic! The graphics and audio are both really good! I got stuck at the spike level for a bit because I had assumed that the spike extends all the way to the bottom. I found it a little difficult to play when I'm small because it's hard to tell where I am.

Goobers: Escape from Lab 8 by maymay 2024-10-08T00:38:17Z

Oh I love this game. I love that the game somewhat resembles the concept of natural selection. The player has to choose between reproducing and getting more food. First time I was playing I thought I needed five very basic Goobers to escape to freedom cause the advanture label shows five basic Goobers. I was trying to reproduce basic Goobers that at somepoint I had population 100 and then quickly lost. I was able to escape the second time since I realize you don't need basic Goobers to escape. Very fun game! I love it.

(o o) by zimonitrome 2024-10-08T02:23:50Z

Oh god the main character is sooo cute. Everything feels so nice.

Fuzzies Don't Know What to Do! by AllenW 2024-10-18T05:05:44Z

@angry-cyboot Appreciate the feedback! If you felt like working instead of playing then the game definitely needs to improve its funness haha.

I did not code the node editor, see the bottom of the description for a Git repo to the node editor, honestly couldn't have made this game without it.

Proto Deus by cliva 2024-10-08T01:26:06Z

Woah the graphics, audio and VFX are sooo good they all feel like a very complete game. The controls are a little difficult for someone like me who's not familiar with this type of vehicle control though. I wish LMB would be the shoot button so it's a little more intuitive to shoot target.

Quantum Swarm by Damien Black 2024-10-08T02:11:54Z

Very cool geeky game! I can see this becoming a very big complex game like Shapez. I felt like the complex graphics discouraged me from learning the game at first because they make the screen look a bit busy.

Tiny H.O.C.'s Pro Creator by ltostes 2024-10-08T01:16:16Z

The physics of grabbing those creatures feel sooo good. I like how many varients is possible, this feels like a good mini game to leave on the desktop and come back every now and then to check in on the creatures. I wasn't sure how to get new varients though, it felt like the only thing I could do was wait for the eggs to hatch and hope they're a new varient.
