This game feels really polished. I liked the sfx and graphics a lot! I found it a little confusing trying to figure out the direction each type of pal needed to be put in to match but once I figured out they were different it was a lot of fun!

I didn’t really understand the mechanics of this game but I liked the artwork and the bubbles!
Super cute game! With more visual and sound effects it could be a mobile banger. I would also increase the difficulty a bit since it's quite easy to not fill up the board.
Really polished and really engaging. I have a pretty low attention span and I spent *a while* playing Super Pal Summoner. That's a pretty good sign!
Once it clicked for me, it CLICKED. The strategy reminded me a lot of Suika Game. Was very fun cramming my pigs in a corner to try to get them to form the right shape! Great work.

I really enjoyed playing this game, its been a long day and this has been by far the most relaxing game I've played so far and it felt very relaxing to try to match the tiles.
I wished for some music, or more sounds. Great concept for a puzzle game, get's hard pretty fast once you get the piggies. Bonus points for starting with the cats :smile:
really polished game! loved the art style, the game mechanics really remind me of 4096, but with a little bit more depth.
Great game, simple and enjoyable
This reminds me of the hundreds of hours (I wish I'm exaggerating) I spent in Triple Town. I love the style and the theme. I wish it's a bit more snappy in gameplay, as in the amount of time to place a tile and/or the animation to place a tile.

Once I got a hang out of it, it was a very pleasant experience! The audio is relaxing, cute art style, the puzzle is simple but quite challenging (at least for me)! My high score was 123000! From what I see there is a lot of strategy here in this game.

I think its a shame that the bubbles are off by default. Nice polished game with cool sound effects! Dragging and dropping with mouse is sometimes a bit inaccurate.
Really solid and cute game! The gameplay is simple but really addictive :smile: I realised only after several minutes of playing that the pals don't have to be dragged and dropped, you can also just click the tiles
nice and simple game and well made. I felt that I could go quite far in the game by just clicking randomly and rapidly... I need some sort of incentive from the game that rewards me for playing strategically :)

nice polished game. The drop could me more forgiving making a better assumption on where you place the object. Got RSI from dragging and dropping. Maybe i will give it a go on mobile. Thanks for making this and good luck.
I was a bit confused at first, since I was able to move around the stuff I placed on the board, so I though "what's the point", but I think that might have been a bug? At least I lost that ability later, and that made the game make sense. Cool, simple little puzzle game, that's probably has a lot of challenge, if you enjoy that sort of thing.

Good TripleTown vibes. Is there a pattern in the upcoming pieces? I wonder how it would change with the number of look-aheads the player gets.
I spent way too much time testing this game, it's deviously clever and addictive :) It reminds me of 2048 but with a bit of tetrominoes added. A nice feature would be to be able to undo the last move, sometimes you click to fast and ruin your carefully planned strategy. it would also be nice if you were told somewhere that you destroy all connected similar items when doing a combo, regardless of shape because it's very useful :)

This was adorable and fun! I dove right in and was able to figure out what needed to be done pretty quickly, so props more making it intuitive! Bonus points for the bubbles toggle -- I loved it! Nice work!
This game is very mature. Hopefully there will be an official version of the game to play :D

Really cool game! I wish combo section was just one big page or that it worked more like a classic 3-match formula. That would make it more fun imo. But it was fun game overall and it was engaging to see what the art for the next new piece will be

It's a cute game, I love the art style! The gameplay I think is a good start, but it was bit clunky when it came to checking combos and placing the tiles. If that was improved, along with maybe a bit more kick when placing tiles or completing combos, then there's definitely a lot of potential! Nice work!
Really well polished entry with an addictive core gameplay loop. I thought the introduction of new pals was well done and could see this being really fun to rack up a high score in.
I don't understand how people getting so much points, my brain explodes when im getting about 20k haha, the game is really addictive, easy gameplay, looped, everything is perfect!
Wow! I was not prepared for how deep the puzzle mechanic was gonna get! I just know there's gotta be an optimal strategy to summoning.

I could have gone further. But after thinking about it, it's impossible to join up 4 green pigs, correct? (even if you only got pig pieces and had infinite space). Unless I'm missing a "strat". Please enlighten me!
Quite fun, I may have spent... 15min playing? It's been fun to come up with strategies. I don't think I would play more / again, but I've quite enjoyed the mechanic of "the spot you place the piece in a way that combos is where the resulting piece will end". And the mechanic of having the different animals require different shapes.
I found it quite intuitive, like other people point out. Maybe what I didn't find so intuitive is that if you join up more pieces than you need for the combo, it consumes all of them. I was expecting it to only consume the ones that make up the shape, leaving some pieces behind.

Fun cute game. It took a bit to find the combo information which left me guessing for a while but once I saw it, it was interesting to plan things out!
It's really cute and addictive. I was so proud of making a row of blue ducks disappear. Also, the moment you unlock a new type of animal feels really nice. The bubbles add to the chill vibe. Great work!

Fun little puzzle game! I had to limit myself because I wanted to restart and use better strategy.
The slow movement of the icon while dragging was a bit much. Made me a bit impatient when placing them. Other than that, well done!
Amazing game for a compo! I LOVED the art in the game! But I also want to highlight the sound design, which at first seemed simple, but made a difference to the gameplay. Great job!

What a cute and polished game! When you get a hang of recipes, it is quite relaxing and almost addicting. In the beginning it found it slightly annoying to have to constantly check for recipes but after a while you see those patterns and do not need recipes anymore.

Played this like a baby sensory game, just clicking around and watching stuff happened, had a blast. You hit the mark with a basic satisfying puzzler. Would play this on mobile, well done!

Easy to understand, hard to master, an very addicting Took me a while to understand where the "fusion"/new piece would appear, but after understanding it, the game feels a lot more complex. Then when I think I'm doing well, I place one wrong piece without thinking too much and it ruins the whole progress (that's what i get for not paying attention) If i would fix anything about the game, it would be the pigs. I think there is no way to fusion 4 of the advanced pigs to clear room, so they keep pining on until theres no space to do anything else The visuals are very cute too! and thats my high score .. i don't think i will ever do any better than this scre.jpg
At first I was very confused about how the game works, but then when it clicked it became a surprisingly fun and addictive puzzle game, a great alternate take of threes/2048! Also, those animals are totes adorbz! Lovely!
I can see myself playing this for hours, a hooking small puzzle game with many interesting factors to take in account. Those ducks are the most annoying to get, and once in a while you misclick something and fail horribly. I would really like to play this with my mobile phone, hit me up after you have published your Play Store build.
For a second gamejam, this was very well made. Not exactly my type of game, but good regardless.

The first thing that attracted me to the game was the cute art design, which matches the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere of the game.
The gameplay -- eliminating items by rationally arranging the placement of different animals on the board -- is easy to understand and at the same time has interesting strategy and decent playability.
However, the game doesn't seem to state that adjacent items that don't meet the elimination conditions will also be eliminated when the elimination conditions are met, which made me initially think it was a bug, but it seems like it's be part of the design.
In conclusion, it's a relaxing puzzle game well worth playing!

This was a nice little puzzle game and I love how you made different sprites and combination. At first I didn't know what to do, but you added a very helpful combo-book. The sounds are cute and the overall look and feel of the game is also nice. I would love some more background music to encourage me to play the best combo's possible. Very great job and good luck on future games!
I love this kind of game like suika game or 2048. It fits very well the theme and everything is so polish. I'm sure i'm gonna spend a LOT of time trying to have the best score. Thanks for this masterpiece

Played with my daughter beside me (she is 9), and she really really really wanted me to give you 5 stars for everything. For some categories though, there was no argument, one of then was fun.. too of the top.
The game was confusing initially though. Combo feel like its something extra, not the core gameplay, so it took us a while to click that big flashy button. Of course after that, the game made sense and was loads of fun! Congrats on the entry!

This is a really cool concept and a great twist from the tile-matching genre! The tile-placing mechanic feels really laggy but it's really fun to play with. Great job!

This game clicked for me and seems like it could be really addictive. I don't think I'm smart enough to get a high score but you really did a great job on this one. Probably one of the few games I play this jam that I might actually come back to in my free time.

A very sweet and fun game, I would play it more than once! Sometimes there are bashes, but I think if you refine the game, there will be candy at all!
Cute puzzle game, the art is really nice. It was hard to make combos without stepping on your own toes, but i suppose thats the point - great job!!
Maybe I'm just dumb, but where are the rules? I can't figure out what the requirements for the different matchups are. It took me forever just to figure out that 3 paws makes a cat and even that was confusing because I don't understand what tile surrounding the 3 you need to press. Don't get me wrong, it looks cute and clearly other people have figured it out and enjoyed it, but it feels very unintuitive to me and I gave up playing.
Fun and cute puzzle game! My one complaint is the drag and drop mechanic. I don't like having to drag my mouse back and forth, occasionally having to wait for the item to catch up to my cursor. I think just seeing the item show up and stick to the cursor would make for more fluid gameplay. Maybe you could replace the old box where you'd grab the item with an "up next" indicator. Aside from nitpicks, this was a great game! Good job!
Am I a super summoner, or am I summoning super pals? Are my ducks in a row? Are my cats sitting kitty-corner? Are my pigs in a pen? Yes, yes, and yes. What an excellent game. Looks so simple, but there's a lot of strategic depth!

indeed the concept is interesting and worth exploring. Wouldn't it be easier to have the shapes to be made permanently displayed on the screen, specifying that it is the last thing placed which will create the new one? And also the possibility (limited but existing) of going back or destroying boxes that have been filled in incorrectly? I also wonder about the need to bring the character onto the tile why not click where we want to put it? In any case it's very nice graphically and the idea is very cool.

Impressed by how original the combo mechanic is (at least for me), as at first glance, it could seem like just another Candy Crush game. However, the fact that you link them one by one is truly innovative in my opinion. Congratulations!
A really nice and captivating game! At first it felt like I could just go on and on, but eventually I realized how the different target patterns make it harder to plan ahead etc.
It feels polished in every way, with really nice graphics and top-notch playability — even if it's simpler to reach that with a board/puzzle game like this than with a platformer or something like that, it's still great if the game feels fun. Great job!
Very fun to figure out sustainable ways of dealing with each type. Once I was like, "hah I can keep going like this forever", you introduced a new Pal type, giving a new challenge.

Mindless enough for me. I'm big dumb so I can't get very far without having to think too much.
This game is infuriating and addicting. Even after telling myself I would be super careful the next time around, I just keep accidentally finishing combos in the WRONG SPOT!!!
It's so simple at first, and then the "oh no" moment kicks in once you realize that you're stuck with your placements forever. Brilliantly designed, and really well executed. Great job!

I want to share my strategy here. It might no be the best but it is stable.

We can prove that the pigs cannot play infinitely, since one can never have a new green pig next to an existing green pig (because the opposite block must be pink and purple at the same time, which is impossible).
And we have the strategy to play cats and ducks infinitely, within limited area. It might not be the smallest area though.
Then we can save all the other blocks for pigs, and try our best to delay the unavoidable pig-end. XD

My main gripe is that the 4 green pigs combo is literally mathematically impossible :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Really impressive for a compo! Would have been nice with some music and some UX changes (a better way to see all the combos, not allowing you to drop the current piece on tiles which it won't "register", etc)
I ended up spending much more time than expected on this game haha! It's super addictive and really triggered my brain. It took me a while to realize that there is no way to combine 4 green pigs, which is a bit sad as it makes the game non-endless, but it saved me from spending my whole day here :) maybe I'm wrong and there is a way, I'd be interested to know! Amazing game anyway

Watched my cousin play this for over an hour. Incredibly good game! The mechanics were easy to understand and required a bit of mastery to chain together at the end. If this were on mobile I could see myself playing for a few hours a day :laughing:

Yeah this game is way too addicting. You have a duty to your players to allow them to go on with their day and not be thinking what they could have done or where they could have put that pig so it was in the way of duck. Simple idea but a lot of fun. Based on the amount of comments im sure someone has already said it but i would suggest you take this further. This would make a great mobile game. Good job.

Got 269780, but mostly because I got to a point where I think I could play endlessly and so I rushed the lose state. Good game, good mechanics.
Simple yet effective! It's not easy to design this kind of puzzle that is easy to understand yet hard to master. It's fun, makes you think, and the combos are fantastic. My sincerest congratulations on this great work, all done in less than 48 hours! I look forward to seeing an expansion of this game!

Love the game, but a little disappointed that the pig cannot merge. I cannot pass the 700.000 pts due to that. Could have play this game a lot longer if it more to it, continue on this road !

A good concept and good entry for a compo game. I liked the ideas, however it's not as intuitive to me. Also I feel the mouse dragging action feels weird (like with a bit of lag) and the animations might be a bit too slow. Also no music, I think a puzzler like this one would greatly benefit from some relaxing score. All in all I think you did a nice job.

This was fun! I liked the cutesy theme and the puzzle game was surprisingly deep and original. It took me a minute to figure out strategy, and I had some suboptimal placements, but once I figured out the patterns it made me want to play more. Great job!

I'm not a stranger to merge games, but I think my time as an ipad kid has used up my merge capacity for a whole lifetime! That said, the cat / ducks are very cute, and the gameplay is smooth and graphically pretty! Great job

This game was fun, relaxing and could very well be at a app store for mobile devices. The lack of music kinda suck, but the SFX are really good overall. And honestly, never would I rhink that a Match-3 game would be this good. You put a spin on the genre that I would've never stopped to think. Congrats.

Nice fun little game with quite a bit more depth than what is initially apparent! Add some juicy animations, music and bit more polish and you have a winner that would really well on mobile!

I had to check the comments to make sure I wasn't crazy about the pigs being impossible. Also wish you could pop the bubbles when you click on them. Overall great entry. :)
Fun little game, as others said making dragging less slow and floaty would make it so much better for me. Otherwise really neat twist on these kinds of games.

Simple and fun one! It takes some trial and error for me to figure out the rule, but it is ok. Could be better with more polish.

Really cute game! Took me a while to get the hang of it and I had to play really carefully because I kept misclicking but I had fun!
Cute and addicting. Great level of polish. The UI is nice and clean. Also playing with bubbles on is a must. The game wouldn't be the same without them...
Definitely a fun little game, with a few more tries I might be able to figure out a strategy that won't let me die horribly after a while XD
