Really great and innovative! Only nitpick is that the boost is more detrimental than useful so I never really wanna use it

I think it's a crazy (in a good sense) idea to make a VR game for a gamejam. I really wish I could play it. If you could link to a gameplay video of sorts I'd like to try and rate it regardless
@shadowbrain it looks really well-made and fun, nice!
This game is absolutely sick! I could never tell it was made in only 3 days. The art is splending and the gameplay is really addicting, and especially the powerups are super rewarding. I really could not find many flaws except I guess maybe have some sort of stat level up beyond just the powerups, after a while it becomes a really grindy back and forth since going too far out risks you dying
This game is incredible, makes me envious that I wasn't the one to make it. I had a blast just shooting around and the ambience adds a ton to it. The fighting itself is quite a bit one-dimensional but it makes up for it with the strategy aspect of looking around and spotting the enemy before it spots you. The only gripe is that indeed the theme was not used, which is a shame because it doesn't seem like it would've been too hard to integrate. Nonetheless, amazing addition!
I think it has some potential, the artstyle is neat and the gameplay is simple, but it just gets really boring quite soon. There really is no difficulty without any obstacles or precise movement (and I think I played for a decent chunk of time too) especially with only being able to move in two directions. I think it would've been vastly improved if you could freely rotate the vehicle and the roads were more curved and varied and had more obstacles, but I guess that's the limitation of only 2 days and only one person. Not bad still
interesting concept for the game, but it's kinda easy and boring, I wish at the very least you could speed up some parts of the game. I really love the art though!
amazing game, really smooth and fun gameplay. I wish instead of it being slow and having to be ready in advance for the obstacles both the hand and the obstacles were faster and you could react to them more easily. Really fun game still!
The concept is really fun and could've made for a great game, but various flaws hold it back. The movement is quite wonky and also there is no way to break/reverse other than accelerating backwards. The gravity is really strong so it's impossible to approach a planet slowly without either crashing or getting launched. Also I couldn't find anything besides the cheese planet. Could've been a great entry, but it's not terrible either way
the gameplay is lovely, i had fun just driving around in circles. It took me a while to actually realize that left and right key meant arrow keys, so maybe make that a little more clear. Fun game though
interesting concept, and the game overall is not bad, gj!
the gameplay is fantastic, extremely innovative. The only things this game could really improve on are the implementation of the theme and a bit the graphics. Other than that amazing game
Very nice! I love the graphics, the controls and the game concept. I think the flaw with the game is the timer, the gameplay is quite one-dimensional and the maps are very simple, so being stuck in one level for a long period of time was a little detrimental to the game quality. I think that a singular objective to achieve with no timer would've been better. Great game still!
great submission for a scratch game! More levels would've been great and also the difficulty curve could've used some work. not bad though
Really cool game! An interesting concept for sure. A bit confusing at first, and also the timer covering the middle of the screen was kinda annoying. Also I don't think you can actually die? which is fine, at least I got to enjoy the game. Anyway, I liked it
@wuya-cafe on web
Quite an incredible game! I didn't play too much of it because the handling of the tube and the mail was a little messy but over-all the entire game is wonderfully crafted, really good job!
@karlthecool thanks for the feedback! We were gonna have specific items have positive side-effects so you could keep them for the bonus but also sell them for emergency money. Unfortunately we never got around to it. Also yeah the computer UI thing is fair
wdym by that @skitefall
also thanks a lot for the feedback @polinachrr @ferellia @matthew-bond @mixelpixel @nobiy I very much so appreciate it
@skitefall if you list an item for a low price then you'll have a very high chance of it being sold. I'm not sure if I understand your issue correctly, but you should sell items at a higher price than what you bought them for to make a profit
@aznoqmous @francis @nozomu57 thanks a lot for the kind feedback! We never managed to add extra depth to the gameplay for scope reasons, but we have a lot of different ideas and the team is already discussing updating this game post-jam with more content. Also, in an attempt to make the game easy and accessible to most, it is indeed very simple to progress, but I hope you still did enjoy the game regardless!
The concept of the game is quite great and could actually be quite fun, but there's certain flaws that hold it back a lot. The movement and over-all feel of the game is very janky and unresponsive, making it so various sections are tedious to go through or overall much too hard, i.e. the section where you have to bounce the box above the spikes is way too inconsistent. I also found that if a box gets sent near a wall it is impossible to get it back, making level 2 harder than it should've been. I think with more polish and more focus on making sure the mechanics of the game are fine-tuned instead of adding more content this could've been a really fun submission
@skitefall nah it was the broken box that stuck, you have to go and intercept it basically. I did push the right box past the spikes
great game! more content in the future would be awesome
This game is really sick! both the art and the gameplay
incredible amount of polish and content in the short amount of time, the only thing really that I could've asked for is some music and a bit more challenge, maybe jurors that have "right" abilities to chain together. Nonetheless it was really fun and really well made, insane.
absolutely phenomenal insane entry. I have a soft spot for games with this kind of artstyle and also for "escape" genre puzzle games. One of the jam games I've rated highest ever
neat game, fps tower defense is very fun. It would have benefitted a lot from faster paced gameplay imo, quicker reload and attack speed, more and faster enemies etc. but yeah really good still
very very fun
awesome game, I think the UI was a bit covering up the middle of the screen and all of the action but otherwise well made
the concept is really good and the artstyle is incredibly lovely. I enjoyed the versus mode and I think that's a lot of fun, but the singleplayer felt pretty stale as you could steal all the enemies you would see and you never had to use your summons to do any actual fighting. I think a better approach would be to have some color of enemy that you could not capture, so as to put your army to the test. but overall amazing entry
unfortunately sometimes a game can be ruined by one singular flaw and it can be frustrating for the developer. I tried to make sense of the writing but it's just more effort than it is worth I'm afraid. I hope you won't get discouraged by this experience and instead use it to learn and improve. good luck going forward!
I keep seeing positive comments and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong cause I can't actually progress the game. I put my cats in the recutement center and also in the pond and waited a while in both of them and tried everything I could think of but nothing happened. The little box to the side started filling up with fish and then stopped after a while and I can't tell how to play this game
yeah I managed to figure it out in the end. thanks for the quick reply. The game is really chaotic and very in-depth, really nice!
amazing entry I loved it, the only issue I had is that at higher speeds is that even one missed name is run ending cause you can't type the others in type, but np. good stuff. 90 demons btw
very similar to an initial idea I had for a potion-making game, really cool. I really like the aesthetic I think with more time you could've really brought it to life.
really great visuals and the gameplay seemed interesting unfortunately I was completely lost in the huge dark rooms for a long time until I found my second power-up which made me drop the lantern and made it near impossible to go anywhere basically. Big design flaw that holds back a probably great game
@potatobrain what do you mean you can't turn the camera when ingame?
@myse it was a feature request because in testing it did happen that the player needed to restart a lot because of bugs and such and doing alt+f4 every time was a bother. It was easy to implement and this way it's also a nice feature if anyone wants to speedrun or anything
hey man wanted to say that your html build doesn't work
also the game is nice, very in-depth with the powerups and upgrade system, I think it would be great if everything went by a bit faster as it can be a bit repetitive at first, but afterwards it really gets going. good entry
good work, keep making games!
very cool, the peggle-like gameplay was implemented in an interesting manner, I wish the game went by faster and had more visual feedback but it's still pretty nice.
fundamentally well made tower defense, nice
very cool
super creative
sometimes people say "I could have made this!", and they get told "but you didn't." in reply. This is different. I could not have made this.
very good art and music and interesting story concept, i liked it!
