Nice game. Like the way the UI is set up so you can see everything. All it really needs is some better graphics and it could sell.

Nice game. Like the way the UI is set up so you can see everything. All it really needs is some better graphics and it could sell.
Nice game! My highscore is 140! I love the sounds the dishes make when they clank together. I also like the slingshot mechanic. This game goes well with the theme.
I like the audio and the fact that there were different trucks to choose from was fun. Cool.
Awesome game! I had a lot of fun with this. My best score was 25! I'm pretty proud of myself.
Very fun. You have this particular art style that I like. Your youtube channel is very helpful!
Very fun! It was just a little hard to see the numbers on the boxes. Nice game.
Fun game with a neat idea. I liked how you have a whole bunch of guns, you're just killing it. Then, a big wave comes and destroys everything you worked for. Great job!
Nice game! Hard to figure out at the start but it was very fun and I played way too much of it. Great job!
Thanks @recursor!
If you get the chance, check out this game. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/dish-it-out Make sure to read the controls.
I thought the story was funny and it goes with the theme perfectly! I liked the audio too. Nice game!
Very nice. The gameplay was solid and fun. An idea I would not have thought of.
Nice game. I like how you progressively added new things to the game. Overall, nice job!
Unique game but great idea. Very polished. Super fun too! It is very satisfying to get a green key the way the whole keyboard lights up with green. Played this one with enjoyment. Great job!
This is a great game! Very polished and the puzzles were not too easy and not too hard. I had a lot of fun with this one. Great work!
This one is one of the best I've played yet! Great idea and the way the gameplay works is just great. I do think that it got a little slow near the end but I still had lots of fun with it. Great job!
Unique game with some cute gameplay. I like the little descriptions every time you find a new person. Overall, good work!
Nice game! Made me relax and listen to the great audio. Although it was a little dull gameplaywise, the mood, audio and graphics made up for it. Good entry!
Not exactly the most fun game I've played, but the theme worked and the graphics were very cute. Overall, pretty good!
Cool art style! It wasn't too easy not too hard. One thing I recommend is make it faster as it goes on. Overall, good job.
Great art as always and the audio fit the art style I thought. I wish that there was more negative and positive choices. Fun gameplay. Good entry!
Nice game! It reminded me of Slay the Spire a bit. Gameplay is good and it fits the theme. The sounds were solid too. I see you did some tweening on the cards and they move very smoothly. I also think the boxers' names are humerous :D. I only wish that there were more boxers and different card types. Although, it was a game made in 48 hours so I can't complain, only compliment the tremendous work done in that small amount of time. Some better graphics and with some more gameplay, you could make this a thing! Well done.
Pretty fun game! At first look I didn't know what to think but then I got the concept. I like the sound effects. Good job!
Wow!! I really started to get the hang at it after my first grade was a big fat F. I hit 2 strikes and 2 spares after that and realized the strategy.. Always aim for the middle, even if the yellow bar is on the left of right! The audio was very fun and kept me playing. Great entry!
Great! Enjoyed playing this one quite a bit and got to the boss. Cool take on the theme and it reminded me of Caveblazers. I loved the different weapons and shields too. Great work!
Wow. This game has more content than you would expect from a jam game. It has music, good sfx, a story, and good gameplay. One thing though. I encountered a bug where the lumberjack wouldn't cut the tree down for me. Overall, great job!
Cool entry! It reminded me of little alchemy. I liked how you changed the person to make different items. The audio was a little low. Good job!
The little bob when the player moved kept me amused. The shopkeepers were very fun and sometimes you got a good deal and sometimes not. I like the take on the theme too. Great job!
Really good game and well polished. One thing though. It is WAAY too unforgiving. I couldn't get past the first level in 10 minutes! The music got pretty repetitive too. Somehow though, I just kept playing and playing and actually ended up enjoying myself! Pretty fun game actually but not very balanced.
Simple little game. Not often you see puzzle games made in 48 hours so very impressive. Pretty good music for 48 hours too. and the only thing is that I have to complain about is that I wish you restarted the level automatically after you go off of the screen.
Neat game and pretty good graphics! I wish that there was a little more feedback when you played a card and some sfx to make the game more alive. At one point I was just clicking on the cards and not even looking at what they did. Very goo stuff done though considering that it was all done in 48 hours, especially for a card game! Here is another card game I thought was pretty neat.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/card-boxer
Oh @sleepqt! That was just another game that I found that I just wanted to recommend to you! It was made by @recursor. I was impressed by the work done and art too! :D
Crazy good game! I played forever! So fun and just an overall great game! You should totally publish this and its amazing to think that it was made in 72 hours. The only thing it that I wish that there were more ports.
Fun little game! I wish that there was some different sound effects or maybe some kind of powerup that makes you invincible for some amount of time. It was kinda hard to follow your soul around to regain health but that made it interesting too. Good job!
Neat idea. The sound affects got a little annoying but I guess it was necessary! :D Well done!
Very cute sound affects and game! The bomb enemies were very clever and I thought that they were a nice addition to the game. The UI was a little off at the beginning but that happened to me too when I built mine for the first time :D ! Overall, nice job!
Pretty cool entry! It was pretty much telling your life by the choices you made. I played until I died. Here's another card game that I found pretty interesting https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/card-boxer
Thanks @gideon! There is not an ending condition although eventually you will start stacking city buildings and then go back to adding people.
I really think that the art was the star of this game. It was very good and the sounds made it better too. Cool entry!
That made me laugh! Very funny audio and concept. Super cool game with some nice juicy bacon on the side! :bacon:
I liked the art style and the shooting felt pretty cool. I also liked the idea of the upgrades when I died. Some instructions would have helped but sometimes you can't get to things like that in 48 hours. Me being critical: Encountered several bugs where I was stuck and couldn't move. I wish that there were some sound affects to make it more alive.
Cool game, but I wish you ran a little faster. When I reached stage 3, I lost all of the things I bought and I found that the spread shot guys were pretty hard. The AI was interesting and was probably fun to program. :) I wish that there were sound affects when you shot so that it added some more life to the game. The upgrades was done cleverly. Also, the music isn't that bad :D ! I did like this a lot!
Cool little game! The story behind it is pretty funny too XD! The graphics were nice but I wish that there were some kind of sound affects when you clicked on something.
Like @link said, it was a little repetitive and so was the music but I guess better have it than not. It was an interesting concept and I thought of doing something like that too. Maybe make the UI a little more interesting and a sound when you clicked a button. Good work!
Wow this was fun. You don't see many puzzle games in LD and this one happened to be done very well! I wish that there were more levels and maybe more elements to the game. I was very impressed with the amount of art you did and it was done well.
Cool! Pretty fun game and some nice graphics to go along with it. I liked the audio too. Neat concept!!
sure have made a lot of ey games!
As @frenchie said, very well polished game. The art was great, the audio was great, the mechanics were well balanced, and there was a good difficulty curve. I really liked the different types of ships and how you can risk putting them closer together for easier mobility. Very good entry!
Reminds me of Tetris! Cool idea and entry!
Funny entry. Liked the sound effect when building a coconut hut. The music was good too. Also I liked the satisfaction of having a coconut pit full and you getting them. I wish that you could scroll out for a bird eye view and also I wish that you could destroy buildings. I liked the way the villagers walked about in a beat side to side. That was very cool to see and the music went right along with it! I played this one for quite a while. Fun game, good entry!
Wow I loved the art! I think it lacks in gameplay but has lots of abilities to unlock. It would be nice to have a sign or something to indicate where the door led to. Good entry!
Great idea for the theme. I couldn't come up with anything either and this would have been me as well! Art looked nice and I liked the story line.
All im gonna say is that I love soy sauce.
@ludumanthony @seabird @fatsheep @blaster391 Thank you for the feedback!
@gibss I see your point and will think about that next time I do a point-like system.
@nisovin Good idea! A difficulty curve would definitely add to the game and make it less repetitive!
@recursor Using the arrow keys to shoot the money would be a good idea. I also think that I should have added another way to have the game end without having an op person come at the very beginning!
@yhi Yes I should have added music :notes:  !
Thank you guys for the feedback!
Super cool Genesis Simulation! I also loved the lava and how it burned through trees. The biomes also added cool diversity to the game. Great job  !
Liked the art and music. The monster sounds were terrifying  ! Maybe you could add more feedback for which level you are on. Good job  !
i got a little addicted and had so many chickens, all you could see was brown. also, i had so many chickens, eggs, and money, that it wouldn't show up on the screen! fun game. :chicken: :egg:
Neat game. I wish that there was more to it then just running around while shooting enemies. It would be cool to have an indicator for how much health an enemy has. I did like the way you showed what enemy did what with the lines being the smashers and the ones with the dots shooting more than one bullet. It would be nice to have different classes like a brute class or class that was faster than others. Also adding to that idea, you could make the player choose one of those classes at the beginning of the game. This I think would make the game more interesting as well as more fun to play.
Cool art and feel to the game. I think that the monsters hiding in the caves were a little unfair though   ! I lost whole good round with a lot of cash because of them! It's a neat game with cool potential.
Really liked the idea of building your own ship. It was tough because you had to shoot the ship parts to attach them but that made the game more interesting. I wish that there was more types of turrets for both enemies and also your ship. Very cool experience.
I liked seeing everything grow :sunflower: . I really like the pixel art, but I wish there were more things to buy or maybe the map could be proceduraly generated. Good job.
I'm Awesome, You're Welcome! Super cool game. This one was so fun and a great idea. The sound effects were very cute! I wish that there was a little more feedback when getting a star or falling off the map. The puzzles were great, great job with this entry!
Hard game but also a game where you need to play through to progress a lot. You have to be ready to change color here, go to a gate there, and so forth. Really liked the audio and the doors were satisfying to open. The player looks very neat as well. Good job!
Pretty cool but the 2nd level in my opinion was too hard. I did like the audio :musical_keyboard: though. Definitely home made audio too  ! I also really liked how you could change the focus of the beam. The beam although was very difficult to control as, it pointed the direction you were moving. Good entry though!
Funny idea! I liked the game overall and how you almost had a riddle game because you had to try to figure out what the tasks meant and how to complete them. That was a very fun part to the game. I just couldn't figure out how in the world to change the channel! :tv: I liked the way you took the theme and thought of a funny way to use it to make a game. Great entry.
Congratulations :confetti_ball: ! You made a Terraria clone! In 48 hours! For real though. This game is pretty cool. I think that the combat was lacking but it's impressive that you even added combat. I also really like the world generation. Great entry!
Very good for like @justinooncx put it, a first timer. My first game was way worse than this! I really liked the procedural generated characters and island. I wish there was a goal of some sort but I was out of ideas too and came up with a crazy one!
Wow man. This game very much surprised me. I played like, an hour of it. It is so very addicting and satisfying when you get a really big chain of powerups. The most satisfying thing of all was when you got the bouncy ball, got a whole lot of speed, and then hit a bouncer thing and get propelled all the way across the map. One thing though. The music got VERY annoying. It was just a loop of piano cords. It would be great to have a way to toggle it off. Great Work!
Mouse was very sensitive, physics a little buggy, but at least you tried to make something in 3D! I would have scrapped any 3D idea because of no current knowledge of how to work in it. Good story, and great job for your first entry!
Actually really fun! I managed to beat your score (although I am sure that there will be more to come that will top mine). I found that it was better to hit the least amount of apples possible as to not get another chicken to chickensit. Solid entry. (I am a subscriber btw )
I can't figure out how to delete this comment sorry
Cool puzzle game. This game had an interesting concept with the way that you controlled the environment to try to keep the goblins from dying. The death animation took quite a while but the escape one was nice. The only thing that was frustrating and for me took away from a lot of the experience is just how slow it is. It was almost like a clicking simulator. Aside from those complaints, good job!
Fun! Not quite sure what the minions were for, but boy were they cute. I ended up using all of my plants just to by up to 50 minions just for the fun of it. Great presentation! You almost had a full on Zelda game there! One thing was that I was lost for a lot of the time. Maybe add some sort of map? Though I can't complain with this amount of content already in such a short amount of time, even with the team you had! Great job!
Very fun! I didn't expect to play through the whole thing but I just went from level to level, challenging my brain cells each time. What a simple mechanic that made for a very enjoyable experience.
Very well done. It is a clean looking and feeling game with an overall smooth feel to it. I like the way that you can either choose to block an enemy off from getting you or to attack it, each with different consequences. I really enjoyed this game.
Very nice puzzle game. It had a good mood and satisfying puzzles.
Thank you guys for the feedback!
@levidsmith actually I'm his 13 year old son!
That was a lot of humorous fun! I loved the voice that congratulated you when you beat a level. The only thing that is annoying is at the beginning of every attempt at a level you have to wait for the camera to scroll in order to see your drone. Good job.
Interesting concept. Although it does get repetitive, I actually found myself playing more and more of it. It would be nice to have another mechanic to keep the player interested but what can I say? You made a game in 60 hours! One thing is that sometimes when you click the be my friend button it will make you move as if you didn't click on the button but the ground which can be frustrating. Good job!
Really nice atmosphere you created there. The art was very nice, the music was soothing, and it just had a nice feel to it. The only thing is that I think that the font is a little too hard to read. Great job.
Cute gameplay and nice pixel art. I really wish that you didn't have to restart the game on death. Ninja frog like!
Amazing art combined with a great feel. It was enjoyable just to flick around the player to advance through the story. The story was my motivation to keep at a frustrating section where I just couldn't quite get through. I really enjoyed this one.
This game is just plain fun. I love the way the slime spreads on the floor while walking! I also really like the cut scene type things that kinda tells a story. I throw Campbell Soup at Mama belly. Mama like.
Such of an impressive entry! I loved the pressure of having to remember that you have a stupid squid ghost thing to feed, sleep, clean its poop, plus a wife trying to talk to you, plus you have to unlock your phone which is a step in itself plus reply to the messages, plus ordering food, and finally drinking wine. It was very humorous when I chugged my wine and my wife was like will you stop chugging your dang wine and talk to me. I had a lot of fun with this one.
This is a weirdly satisfying game with great audio and art. Maybe add another mechanic to keep the player interested. You should have titled this one Fish Slapper.
Great job for your first game jam!I found myself playing again and again. Maybe you could add different swatters to choose from. Different bugs with different flying patterns. Many ways to expand upon this idea.
Mood was great! I really felt like I was in a dungeon. You had some interesting mechanics and the game looked and felt very polished. Well done.
I had a good laugh with this one! I don't know why but it was quite humorous to see the people just obliterate you when you pull out your gun. It is a good risk reward concept because if you do not have enough wood, you will die in the night so you can risk trying to kill someone so that you can take their wood. If you are just chillin with a good crew of people at a campfire and they are just sitting there, I just can't help myself in quick drawing to steal all of their wood for personal gain. I had fun with this game great job.
Thanks for the feedback!
That was very fun. I found the rhythm and got all the way to 50 meters but then got into a slump and floated back to 40!
Enjoyable experience! The jump felt nice in that it depended on how long you held down the button. It would be cool if there were precise jumps during the boss battle using that mechanic. I also really liked how the text had expression in it even if it was only used for the little guy at the end.
Really innovative idea! I got to 95 before being stared down. It was interesting the way that you made it difficult by adding a stamina bar. Maybe you could add coins to collect so that each playthrough you can upgrade your stamina refill time for more of a rogue lite feel.
Very cool take on the theme. There are many things that you could do to expand the gameplay such as adding powerups or asteroids with enemy bases on them.
That was very fun! It was my first time mashing on the keyboard for an actual reason. What a creative idea.
Fun game I played twice til death. I think it could benefit from camera control and juicier bullets. The enemies are more complex than expected and actually kind of fun to play against! I think that there should be less of a difficulty spike. Overall, I think it is fun to try to optimize your playstyle and gather more and more upgrades to see how powerful your ship can become. Although realistically you may be able to just try dodging all attacks to last the longest. Thank you for the game and good job!
Edit: I played again and got to 25 phases with 73 enemies destroyed! :smirk_cat:
Wow such a cool concept! As an enjoyer of chess, I love how this relates to the theme! Tis very innovativeth. It is a very overall polished experience and I even sat through the credits. I was very impressed with the overall feel of the game. I wish there was a little more gameplay but I like the art. Music was good too. Thanks for the game!
Great music and sound effects! ! I basically just spam the space bar with my jitter clicking skills and enjoy the particles as they slowly destroy the framerate. The framerate drops to the point where my bullets don't even detect a hit  I enjoyed playing it. Very solid entry and thanks! (best score: 98155, best combo: 41)
Very interesting idle game! Super original idea and great art. Maybe you could add an option to change the song or even somehow add your own songs in! I completed the game (why did I do that). Really innovative game and thanks! :cat:
Wow yeah really neat game when I took the time to figure it out. It took me until day 100 on my 5th try to complete it. It is very satisfying to do anything with the little *plop* sound effect! And yes, the graphics are really nice. Would like to have seen another map to play on and maybe a restart button . Thanks for the game and good job!
I sat and played it for longer than I thought I would for the sole reason that it was fun to shoot! The sound effects are solid and the visuals are appealing when firing. Many things could add to the experience (more guns, auto-firing, sensitivity slider, more upgrades, different projectiles). It was an overall fun and polished experience though . Thank you for the game!
I really like this game! I played it for around 30 minutes. I managed to survive to Year 65 and I had a good time doing it! I even managed to get the CO2 going negative (but by then the sea level was already rising) and it felt really good. It is difficult to balance what to put down and how many. Thanks for the game!
P.S. I think it is ridiculous that people are criticizing for the unrealistic global warming!
@lokt02 Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry about that. Hopefully I fixed it. (Make sure it is fully grown.)
Thanks @sunjet! That's a great idea to add depth and such.
I appreciate the reviews @realryanrogers, @pennycook, and @jogy34! @pennycook I realize now that the controls were not completely clear - I will clarify in the future . @jogy34 I agree that there definitely needs to be adjustments made to the balancing. Thanks again!
Thank you @itskdog, @hungrycatgames, @suchista, @imaginary, @bentglasstube, and @hmightypirate. I read and appreciate all of the feedback given and I agree with it all. You all gave me very valid pointers and tweaks.
Thank you all, I really appreciate you taking the time to play and review my game!
@kiddy That was my initial desire as well! Of course, not using my time wisely doesn't help productivity!
@gamescodedogs Thank you!
@turquoise-moon Thanks for playing! Very useful feedback for I wasn't aware of this bug. The inventory has two parts. A hotbar and a backpack (press E). This is not indicated clearly so you are totally justified for not knowing. Really, I should have just given the hotbar an extra slot!
@theblitz Thanks for playing!
@m0dsat Oh yes, the invisible wall. At the last minute I had realized that the player could walk anywhere so I just slapped some box colliders down and called it a day. That is one thing I struggled with was finding a balance between the different weapons. That is one thing that I would love to try is adding music/ambience and more sfx. I've never really given much effort into those but the difference they make is huge. Thank you for your detailed review!
@helen I agree with you, there are definitely too many attackers! One thing I struggled with was finding a balance between the damage of the weapons, the health of the enemies, and the spawn rate of them. In the end there is more to be desired. Thanks for the feedback.
It's actually a really interesting game! I see that you need to balance your harvesting of sand and water. I am really glad you added a sensitivity slider ! It looked really nice when a meteor hit one of your tiles and it blew up. I wish it was a little easier to tell what tile was harvestable and sometimes I had trouble harvesting a forest tile even when it had a tree on it. The only other thing is as @mook mentioned, you can hang onto the ledge even after falling! After playing a few times, I managed to get 90 seconds. Thanks for the game and good job!
Innovative idea. Thanks for the game!
Super fun game. I played to the end. I really like the sound effects for everything and I launch fecal matter at meteors in my free time. The music is great. It feels like it was made for the dinosaur era. This is a great idea and it is really cute. Thanks for the game!
Thanks for the game! I've never tried making a point and click game before but now I am thinking about trying it out . I quite like exploring the different rooms. Although I did find a bug where you cannot click the hand icon in the inventory because it is blocked by the text that says things like "you should slice them!". This is an annoying issue I've had before with Unity but I think that you just need to disable the "raycast target" field on the text object. Great job and thanks!
I am impressed with the amount of polish that this game has. Maybe I'm not playing it right but I feel like it was annoying to connect the power lines up. I like the indicators for where the bots are going to go. I don't like that the meteors destroy the power lines although I suppose that is part of the theme. I wish the game didn't start until you had clicked out of the initial text box with instructions. Thanks for the game, I enjoyed it!
The mood of this game is very good. I enjoyed just about every second of it. The only thing missing is various sound effects for doing certain things to make it more satisfying. I loved the particles that spewed out when doing just about anything. I loved the happy little vegetables and the mean french fries and such. The music brought it all together into a nice juicy, relaxing, and enjoyable package. I only managed to delay the inevitable for 3 days but I enjoyed my stay. Thank you for the game!
Great mood/atmosphere. I love the lighting and it makes me want to try to make something similar and the art style is super. The puzzles were fun and satisfying to complete AND you included walkthroughs just in case. I played to the end and I enjoyed it. Thanks for the game  !
Interesting idea.. I like the model for the scissors and the ominous "begin" at the beginning is entertaining ! The only thing it is missing is any type of strategy. The game has potential for sure but in the current state it feels a little dull. It is just a game of chance. It is a little entertaining to watch them all rush at each other, but they all meet in the middle and you can't really tell what is going on. Sorry for the overly critical review. Thanks for the game !
Interesting game, I had fun exploring it. Very stylized art, I can see myself liking it. The mechanics were a little hard for me to understand (some boxes weren't breakable?). Anyway, good entry and thanks!
Music hits the mood 100%. Giraffe is a character. All of the characters actually had character. Very good aesthetic you have going. I don't like the floaty jump but it works I guess. Also I think it would help if you split the text up a little into smaller bits to make reading it more manageable. Thanks for the game!
This is a wild ride. Thanks for the game. Oh and don't worry about me. I am more patient than @lbrande.
I CAN'T WAIT MUCH LONGER!!!!!!!
I thought I did well with 5:26 but then I looked at the comments  ! I've played this too many times trying to get a better score (around 30 minutes). Yes, very simple but fun mechanic. The music got a bit repetitive but thankfully you added a slider for both! One thing, I would love to be able to control this man a little better. I would ask if you would either slow him down a bit or make him able to stop moving. Also, it would be cool to have more control over the rotation of the barriers or even give us a build phase. Thanks for the game!
This is fun. It's so simple and easy to understand. I like that the buzzing sound pans from ear to ear depending on which side of the stage you are on, really nice touch! The music was only on for part of it for me though, I liked it. Gameplay is fun. I felt cool, being a fly and all.
Cool stuff! I managed to complete the game and it was fun! I enjoyed feeling overpowered. It would really benefit from audio and I also think it could have been more balanced. That being said, it was 48 hours, great job!
That was really fun. I played for ~20 minutes and maxed out almost everything. It feels great to shoot and I love the footprints on the ground, not to mention the highly detailed artwork. I only wish there was a way to tell what tiles you had already mined. I also got lost because of this a few times. But yeah, this game is one of the best I've played so far for sure. Great job!
It's a simple game, done well. All it needs is some music. I can see this being really enjoyable on mobile - my only criticism is that it feels a little slow paced, at least at first.
@indigo and @linus-lindberg, I apologize! The page was set as a draft.
@albertnez Thanks for checking it out! Yes, that was my biggest obstacle, making the bosses interesting and I probably should have focused more time into that.
@owca Thanks for trying it!
@arkinrev, @bridgeonastick, @lex thanks for playing! :smiley:
@linus-lindberg I agree, the popup needs to have more contrast; thanks for playing!
@googlypoo The sounds were my best try! All of my previous LDs have had barely any audio - if any, and I decided this time around, there never be silence! Also, I personally completely agree with your jump button suggestion. The only reason I changed it from the left trigger is because I figured that A would be more intuitive to others. Thanks for playing and rating!
Impressively polished! Sounds were great, the atmosphere was great, it felt great to hit enemies... Only problem is there isn't an objective . You could build a full game out of this easily! Cool entry!
That was actually fun! It was a very stylized experience. I got it in 7 seconds on my 13th try! It felt good to complete. Great job! You deserve 20 ratings, especially with you rating >30 games, gl. Only thing is I wish there was a way to restart during a match.
High score: 4.50 seconds
Good mood. The alien looked really good. Would benefit from a map maybe? I didn't really know where I was or where the generator was. I liked the built in settings (mouse sensitivity etc.) although, you normally don't want to teach the player how to play with a wall of text but alas, it is 48 hours. The models are impressive for being made in 48 hours! Great entry!
I'm impressed at the quality of this game. My problem is that at first, I didn't know what to do once the enemies started flowing in. I didn't think I could hit them with my pickaxe (thankfully I played all the way up until that point again just to try again). Also, if I wanted to tab out of the game, I would go back the menu on accident, starting me over. I am very impressed though. The art and overall mood of the game is outstanding and I like the atmosphere! Great entry!
The gameplay loop is simple yet fun! I like the effect shown below the character to make it appear to be some sort of advanced technology. The different planets are interesting. This is a cool game! Great entry.
Fun game. The constant rush of rockets coming in all directions makes for interesting and engaging gameplay - especially when they could turn at any time! Good game. (Nice beats too)
Oh yes! Clever way of making the player make the best of their shots! I like the glow on the player and especially on the projectiles. I liked the sound when you took a shot. Nice game!
Entertaining! Music was actually pretty groovy . Maybe if you already completed the task at hand, automatically move the player to the next task? Cool game!
This is pretty hilarious! I like the concept. Only thing is I wish the preferences were saved when you restarted. Good entry!
Hey, this is pretty fun! I really like the effect of the world building in front of you. It adds some difficulty to try and figure out which color is safe, and which isn't. The mood is great. Good game!
Cute game! The combination of chill beats, cute pixel art, relaxing sound effects and the pressure of delivering orders on time is an enjoyable experience. Great job!
You were wanting the 'harvest' theme! I wasn't expecting that! At first, the controls puzzled me. I think that you should have separate buttons for using a tool and dropping it. That would add to the fun and decrease the frustration I believe. The audio was fun and matched the pace and mood. I think the player movement should be controllable. Maybe have shift be walk and default is run. It is a really interesting mechanic to try to plant, water, and harvest all of your crops in 10 seconds. Either way, thanks for the game and great job!
Super neat. This is something I'm sure HAD to be fun to code. The map is really neat and the gameplay is overall interesting. Cool game!
The thing I love about this game is the art style. They really are quite impressive. The music is great too, although I don't prefer that it stops right after beating a level to load. It kills the pace a bit. I agree with everyone else on this one: the platforming made me want to quit. I really didn't feel that I had much control over the character. It was a good experience and thanks!
Great mood. I felt afraid. I like the spooky touches and the audio brought it together. Nice ending screen and nice game!
Fun game! The sounds are really awesome, and it just feels good to push bubbles with the precision of a caliper. I like how the bubble tension is displayed using a red tint and the animation is really nice to indicate the speed and bubbliness of the bubble. I really like the text before and after the levels to add a bit of personality to the game and oh the sound of the text typing is nice. Everything is overall just very polished as a whole! Also, thanks for the Pop room.
Critiques: I think the difficulty curve could be a little softer. The pushers are a little frustrating to work since they keep rotating even when they are deactivated. Also, the level: "A Bubble Test" revealed an issue with how the required bubbles are detected and ended up not telling me that I couldn't complete the level. Bug in Bubbles.PNG
Don't forget to add your source code! It is a nice, relaxing, cozy game. It did have some trouble retaining my attention though, there isn't too much to do except wait for the crops to grow. I mean, theoretically, I could just buy beans and leave the game running to eventually retire! I will say, the environment is very nice and I like the overall esthetic. Good job!
Game with potential! Congrats on making a working game in such a short time!
I like: - The way the ants viscously attack plants until they are completely gone - Gameplay is overall engaging - The game idea has lots of potential (lots of room for expansion to full game)
Wishes/Critiques:
Note: Obviously this being a jam game, I don't expect any of these, just feedback. - It were more obvious where ants were coming from or when they were coming / some easier time viewing the whole map - The ant sound didn't loop in the menu - More feedback for literally every action (harvesting, which plants are queued for harvesting, killing ants, etc.) - New ant sound :smiling_imp: - Some of the ground tiles in the middle of the map are too light to tell how far apart they are - Music/more Sfx (would add much to the game feel overall) - A reason to continue playing (highscore system? (Unity has a very easy and quick way to add this using PlayerPrefs)) - New weapons (wave system maybe?)
Anyways, I hope I'm not being overly critical, after all, it was made in 48 hours or less, but thanks for the game!
I did the same with my game by mistake! @me when it's fixed :D
I like the movement of the spider, it is unique, not something I would dare attempt making in a game jam, kudos. I would have liked more feedback on when I actually hit it, especially when it isn't obvious which part of the legs are actually hittable. The illusion falls apart when the camera moves too far off-screen to where there are no more grass tiles and I also would have liked for the game to restart when you die. Add some more sounds, music, leaderboard, and polish overall and I can see this being a very enjoyable game!
I played this twice around and got 2nd at the leaderboard (I'm sure that won't stand for too long)! Coming from someone who has played a lot of typing games, this far surpasses most if not all other typing games I have ever played, even the multiplayer ones. And to think that you made it in just 48 hours or so is crazy. Everything is greatly polished, I like the music and sounds, and I like how the scoring works. There is also lots of room for expanding on this to make it even cooler. Overall, I expected nothing less from a game that you made -- high quality, satisfying fun. Great job!
Oh no! The game looks very fun and promising but slows down to unplayable after shooting the initial balloon! @me when it is fixed please!
@lucas-hoffmann, sorry but I make a point not to download any games during LD, just because there are always that one person who ruins it for everyone (viruses and such), but I believe it would be within the rules to upload a working web build.
Ah! I did the same thing last time! Thanks for telling me @theseusinabottle and sorry about that. It seems someone already rated my game, that's disappointing, thanks for not being 'that' guy.
@nicole-a No winning! Just highscore based. Glad you enjoyed!
@jk5000 I like to see beet flying around too. Thanks for playing!
@manchmalscott Thanks for playing!
This is really cool! It makes me want to make a multiplayer game next LD! Only problem is that there was no one playing  but on the bright side, I won!
Cute game with a really nice aesthetic to it! I really enjoyed the experience. The mood was on point with the music and "yummy" carrots! I love testing the volume. Good job!
Cool prototype, I think it has a good amount of potential as a puzzle/Terra Forma - (https://pixelbyte.itch.io/terra-forma) kind of game. Adding a leaderboard, more unique blocks, events, heck even a level creator would definitely expand this concept. Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the sounds, I think they were a little piercing. Maybe replacing them with more soft, even homemade mouth sounds would be an improvement. Either way, congrats on completing a game in such little time!
Nice game! I like the chill yet moody music in the background. I dig the way the camera snaps to certain areas of the map, though I wish in certain places it were more flexible or the environment would adapt to the camera angle. The only other thing is that the background is a bit bland. I like your sprite work and really cool that you made a small Metroidvania in such little time!
I like, style good, game interesting, not quite understand how fill water, plant grow, plant grow big, no news is good news, entry good. :tomato:
Really cute game! The music is impressive, pretty sure I recognize those as BeepBox tunes! The game unfortunately crashed every time I pressed tab to open the shop! I feel like that is unintentional but I still had a good time, corn was enough to sustain me! Great job!
Is it impressive for a first game, plus being made in 48 hours? Certainly. Is it rough? Certainly. Is there a strange sense of charm that it radiates? Certainly. :v:
Super cute game! I really love the high contrast between the normal world and the time travel world, super awesome. The music is really cute and, again, very well done with the contrast. The planting is a little wonkey and I would like some more feedback (visual/audio) when you are hitting enemies and when you pick up their ingredients. This was actually quite enjoyable, great job!
Very cozy game, I love the art style! The idea is unique and cute, I just love the idea that a dragon can cultivate a garden in the middle of an ice age! At first, I couldn't figure out how to melt the snow because I thought the hand item slot was fire! Anyways, I figured out that you needed carrots to melt the snow eventually. I really like the mood of this game, the music sets it on par along with the snow particles. Really solid entry.
Haha! I love it! Super cute, I love the mousedrawn art style and the little sounds the kobolds make! Why is it so satisfying? I think the main thing that makes this game fun is going around collecting tons of fish at once, feeling very powerful, like in Vampire Survivors. Therefore, I purpose that you get rid of the waiting for fish to respawn time and instead focus the gameplay on getting stronger and catching more and MORE FISH YIP YAP. . . (like in Vampire Survivors) Anyways, gg.
Super cute! This is very well put together, practically a commercial game already! The audio is very fitting and cute, the world feels alive with movement and character, and I love the mailbox checkpoints! Oh and the mood of the game gives me a warm feeling inside. Very well done, I played the whole game!
Dad simulator. It's a very polished experience and it's easy to do the infinite click cycle since there is no end in sight. I'm impressed at how professional it feels all around! Well executed and very innovative.
Very simple, well done game. I really liked how the music would change tempo based on your performance. I do wish it was a steeper difficulty curve though. Well done!
Yaknow, this game has personality. I really dig the sudden speed up, that made it much more interesting and enjoyable. Kind of relaxing atmosphere funny enough.
I like the graphics, they were cute. The music though, was good for the first 2 times I heard it . Still better than any music I've made, though I would have loved a toggle button. Also, replacing the music with a more atmospheric ambient nature track could transform the game into a relaxing mouse-floating-in-a-balloon simulator. I like what you did with the camera angles and I did feel like I was on an adventure! Good job!
Why does this happen every time!? I finally remembered to public the Itch page and of course I post the wrong link! Sorry @minibetrayal.
@potatocouch Thanks, I fixed it. Although not the most obvious or intricate implementation of the theme, your allies are delivered to you at the end of a level.
@recursor @torte478 @nekowei Thanks for playing! @kylethecoder Glad you liked it!
@asfdfdfd @patrick-abernathy @ddesigndude Thank you for playing!
@bqq I appreciate your feedback!
@zeantwan Thanks for your time! This is good feedback, now I realize that the reload bar is quite small and it doesn't stand out enough. Also, I probably didn't add enough ammo in each weapon.
@kosmik123 Haha! No I didn't intend for the enemies to be anything specific but that works! Really cool that you played for so long! Thanks for your time!
@dexort Thank you for the kind words! I will do that!
@deadlycupcake Thanks for your time!
@snakemuho me neither
@oter Thank you for playing! I would have added some more cover but your allies would have gotten stuck much more often due to their stupidity. Also, good feedback on the UI, good to know.
@firespike33 There actually is an ending! It is probably a bit too long but there are 11 levels. The first 5 are set in the desert while the last 6 are on the beach. The enemies progressively get smarter and more numerous. I probably should have made it clearer or added the smarter enemies earlier so everyone can experience them since I do think they are pretty fun! Thanks for playing!
@brandon-campbell I appreciate your feedback! There does need to be something to switch up the gameplay every once and a while. Pretty much the only replayability is to be more careful since there is no health regen or to try out a different weapon (though you can also pick up weapons that your allies drop).
Health regeneration: I probably should have made it to where you regenerate all of your health when you complete a level so that people can play all the way through.
Reloading: I thought about adding a reload button but I decided to leave it out for some reason. I thought maybe it would add another dimension to the game, and leaving out the having to continuously smash the reload button didn't seem fun. But I do think that it may be a good edition.
@baily Thanks!
@gonzo13 Thanks for playing!
@firespike33 Oh! I suppose there must be an issue there, I did add an ending screen. Perhaps there was an error of some sort, I'll check it out. Thanks for letting me know.
@ruddiculous That's a good idea, to have deliveries during combat would make for interesting interactions. And I like the idea of being able to choose what gets delivered to you. Yes the sounds were all mouth recordings.
@firespike33 @ruddiculous Yep, sure was a bug, silly me forgot to set the reference to an enemy prefab! Is what it is, thanks a lot for informing me and I'm sorry for the inconvenience! Fixed now though.
This is a solid entry! I got 31 points before my fuel ran out. I like the prompt to either start with a tutorial or not. There isn't a whole lot of depth to the game, for example maybe you could add enemy islands that spawn enemy ships with weapons and islands that perhaps you could use to upgrade your ship. For 48 hours, this is great!
One of the best entries I've come across thus far! Everything about this game is charming. From the movement of the character, the scanning of the scanner, to the exquisite narrative it is entertaining throughout. The gameplay is decently engaging, I like the unique upgrades. Awesome game.
Talk about innovation! Your delivery on the theme is very well done. The different levels of skill were well balanced and provided ample challenge for everyone. Great job!
This game is fun! I played it for a lot longer than I expected. I really liked the speed lines when you really get going as it really makes you feel like you are in a of movie. It is very satisfying to swing around and I feel that the mechanics are quite polished! The birds are pretty hard to hit but chasing them down throughout the city is a lot of fun. Then, when you finally hit them, that is very satisfying. This game could benefit from more graphics of course but I see that that wasn't the goal of this jam. Great job!
The interactive clouds are awesome! I love them it was a nice surprise. The game is actually pretty fun and engaging. I like difficult-to-control games but this one was actually pretty straightforward and intuitive. I beat it but I didn't actually realize that the box took damage until I beat it! I like how the box displays its damage by actually changing its sprite. The springs are very satisfying to hit. I had fun!
I really like the effect on the tiles when they fade out. I also really like your unique way of communicating to the player their score and difficulty level. Good job!
but my mc-rib
Hehe wow, I was surprised at the detail that was put into this game. The sounds were silly but it felt good to hit enemies and to jump onto the ropes. I like how you added waves that cover your line of sight, it adds an interesting challenge. The smoke coming out of the cannons is a really nice touch. Though, the theme is few and far between, it is still a fun game!
Hehehe really cool! The graphics are really cute and it feels like I am playing on my DS again! I'm quite impressed that you actually made this for a DS, super cool.
6 minutes and 47 seconds. WAY too much T.I.M.E. This game was flowing with personality and the writing really is great. I really like how the music changes to add that clown feeling to the antagonist and how he zooms away on his unicycle. This is just very well done.
That was a rush. i felt like an obstetrician. my fingers hurt from spamming the arrow keys since there isn't really a penalty for getting an input incorrect. I managed to squeeze out 25 babies without even getting my clothes dirty. the women are all grateful and i just got a pay raise and a new nickname: "really good at delivering babies". It was satisfying, even the repetitive sound effects got me in a bit of a groove and rhythm and I love seeing the cart fly away and a new one fly in. Great job.
I beat the game! It was an enjoyable experience. The camera transitioning between rooms was very smooth. I also noticed that you added some leniency on the timing when you press the jump button to when the jump actually occurs! I wasn't a big fan of the floaty feeling on the jump though, nor the sound effect. Impressive making a boss fight! Good job!
The mood really fits the game and I think is pretty impressive! As other people stated, the opening dialogue is pretty slow but the story is interesting. I wish that the game didn't restart when you wrecked your boat as it can be tedious getting back to where you were. The title made me intrigued to find out more! Well done for your first creation!
Haha, very innovative! I like the grapple hook mechanic, adds lots of joy into my life.
I was very impressed! From the no loading screens to the wonderful graphics (though I know you didn't model all of them) it is very polished. I do think that it would be really cool if you could control the vehicle yourself, of course for this to work you would have had to change some things and I know there wasn't much time for that. There is a lot of potential here and I think that is very evident in the amount of feedback you have gotten. I'd be curious how this turns out in the future. Overall, wonderful job!
Haha super cute game! I really like the graphics and the overall polish was definitely there! I do wish the leaderboard worked on the web build, though I understand. I found it a fun challenge to try to bounce the mushrooms into the pot. Good job!
This is one of the most enjoyable games I've played during the jam! Very interactive experience, it starts a little slow but then gets hectic fast! The different upgrades add replay-ability and different strategies. I didn't get a lot of points but I certainty stayed alive for a long time! The audio also adds another dimension to the atmosphere and experience. Well done!
Cool game, interesting idea. I wish there was an indicator as to how long each game lasted and I also think that they should have been less time each. I liked the camera angle and polish on the final game where you spam the space bar. I think it would benefit from a crowd and maybe more audio cues. Overall, good job!
Interesting mechanics intertwined with a difficult challenge. I do believe that it starts off a bit too difficult. Maybe decrease the fire rate of the enemies by a bit and progressively increase them by using different types of enemies? The game is enjoyable, good job.
A nice break from most games. Text based games are fun and this isn't an exception. I find the fact that you understand multiple version of different commands interesting and impressive. I got lost in the woods but I just don't have the patience to find other endings :smirk_cat: . I like killing old men and I also like finding secret passages and getting lost in the woods.
Great job!
I can tell you had fun with the music and I was sad it ended; it's actually quite impressive! It's a polished experience that is amplified by the constant discovery of the epic background music. I did think that the enemies were frustrating to move, (I guess that's the point) but the trip-wire things were really cool. I certainly felt as if space were limited. I do wish that there were more levels but not at the cost of the music. Very good.
Oh wow, I wasn't expecting the upgrade system! That is a great use of the theme. I like the way the big enemies grow, but maybe their hitbox grows a little faster than their sprites (could just be me I don't know). Another thing is that I personally don't like the piercing sound effects of the shooting. Skill based gameplay where you have to take into account later rounds for placement of upgrades is really intriguing. If you perhaps added online leaderboard or even multiplayer in some way I think it would be really fun. Yeah, I enjoyed this entry, great job!
Cute! I like a nice, yet quick experience. The art was actually really nice, it reminded me of the game Delver. I am a big fan of this style. I love Godot. The puzzle, though short, was satisfying to complete, utilizing the crouch button. Good job!
This is an actually fun match 3 game that innovates on the idea and doesn't copy everything else. Its engaging and though I think it starts off a little slow, the movement is tricky enough to keep you from dominating early on. I quickly just had a big mess of random types of items in the back and was only working with the ones coming out but only because I kept picking them up and flinging them everywhere, pushing all the boxes out of the way. I think that is pretty genius actually, the fact that the boxes collide with each other, making the player really think about how to move by using the strafe button. I could actually see this being a really competitive game in a Tetris sense. Great job.
It's actually quite polished! The goofy music fit really nicely but I also got tired of it very quickly and turned it off. The guy is funny and I enjoy the sounds that he made. I think this game is too hard (for a game jam game)! Maybe have multiple levels, each increasing in difficulty so more people can experience the gameplay loop more fully. The controls were admittedly frustrating, but I have no ideas on how to improve them. I really do think that is a great take on the theme and I enjoyed my 350 steps before giving up after realizing that I had to move all the furniture too! Great job!
Oh, this is super cool. I actually thought as I started playing "I ought to try to make something like this." That's when you know I think it's cool. So first thing, when I started playing, I randomly drew pixels and it paid me money. This made me wonder if it actually even mattered what I painted as to the payout. To fix this confusion, I propose making the payout only scale up past a certain "accuracy" threshold. That way, you aren't getting paid for random scribbling. Great take on the theme though, really cool project.
I really liked this game! It reminded me of an Oregon Trail type game but you took a unique and interesting spin!
Really fun actually, I played it twice and I got about 5.5 minutes or so. It's frustrating at first but I ended up enjoying it. The movement mechanic is unique and makes up practically all of the gameplay. I could see this ending up on steam. The art is professional and yes, I noticed the pixel perfect camera movement! The online leaderboard really tops it all off, it's beginning to look like another "Getting Over It" game, just different. Great job for sure!
Update: Got 4 minutes..
2.PNG
Why do I keep playing it?
Capture.PNG
Not too bad! I wasn't really sure what the goal of the game was, I couldn't find the light source and there was no indication as to where. I assume it is forward. I also went backwards just for fun and tried to jump out of the world. I floated and then the game crashed. The music is actually pretty good! It has a nice kick drum and it has enough variation as to where I didn't think about slamming my head into this laptop! I like the idea of attaching shields to your player so that you can avoid taking damage and the fact that they break is nice too. I also wasn't too sure what the guns you could pick up did or was for. The controls are challenging enough to keep me trying and the quick nature of restarting helps replay ability as well. It does remind me of Pacman and I think it could actually be quite fun with more polish and direction. Well done getting something finished!
Nice game! I saw myself dumping the cargo into the ocean intentionally to increase the speed. I also for some reason didn't realize you could put multiple pieces of cargo on a single ship, which I think is a great idea. The second level was when I started to understand the potential. I really like the stylized look and I just love the speeding up of the music when you drop a piece of cargo into the water. And then I realized you could rotate the cargo! This actually is a really great idea.
Really well done. Polish is there, the mechanics are there, and I love the way that you show rescuing the people and also when they die. The mood is great and the sounds are good. I think this is very solid. The only thing that needs building out is the menu! Great job!
I played for like 25 minutes, this game is actually fun. In the end the game crashed but I got pretty powerful. It's a fun idea where you have to balance upgrading your wood capacity and your attack power in order to grow in power as fast as possible. What I ended up doing however, was maxing out my speed immediately and just driving through level 1 tanking the enemies and gathering wood. Some added audio would have helped and a better sound for the truck since I eventually just took my headphones off due to it's annoying nature. Even though the game wasn't extremely polished, the gameplay was there and the fact that I still enjoyed it that much shows how much potential there is. Great game!
This game is actually quite fun! The unique controls give a nice challenge and the walls closing in mounts pressure making for a good experience. The only thing lacking is music which I think would make a big difference. Imagine if it was dynamic music where it sped up as the walls closed in. Anyways, very stylized and polished game!
Difficult game, but I started to figure it out after a couple of tries. I do wish there was a restart button though. I did enjoy it for some reason. It is full of personality and I played more than I expected to. Good job!
I like the ambience, I felt like I was in a cave. The idea of having limited torches is a good one, also risking better loot for your life. I like the fast paced nature of it, and the constant suspense as the lava counter ticks down. I think perhaps you could have less text on the screen and instead have more intricate and cleaner UI, immersing the player even more. Overall, I enjoyed it.
Haha! I thought that was a good idea. It took me by surprise at first. I do wish it were easier to tell what character you were controlling after all of that chaos hit (though that might have been part of the game). I love the personality you brought to the game with the dialogue, that was really neat. It definitely could have benefited from audio but I know how it is. Great job!
What really stands out to me about this game are the sounds and the music. They are pretty well done in my opinion and make the game a lot more satisfying. I'm not sure why I wanted to break the purple walls, but it was my favorite thing to do. The red guy in the middle is certainly dangerous but I like that you can outrun him by some tricky movement. So a simple and well done entry. Good job!
My score: 2750
Update:
While playing for a higher score, I was spam-clicking the try again button and I managed to get two games going at once! As you can see, the first game died pretty quickly but I was able to play the second one that spawned in! The game also wouldn't let me die after that so I got a pretty high score (though I couldn't see the exact score)
Capture.PNG Capture.PNG
I have to say, this is a very polished game for a game jam. The graphics are great, minimalist and easy to understand. I like the characters as well, they certainly have personality. I think it could benefit from some more audio, though the music was nice.
It's a start! I like the train ambience, I was intrigued by the idea of being on a space train. I liked the dialogue. Was the name of the game a reference to the fact that you can walk through the walls? The start of an interesting game!
This is a very polished game! I was surprised at how finished it felt. The music was on point and the gameplay was satisfying. Actually, probably the best music I've heard so far. Very well done.
I quite like the atmosphere of this game, pun intended. The music is nice and I do feel like I am on a mission. I like the tethering idea and the application of the theme. I didn't quite understand the controls at first, I still don't get why ASD were needed but I figured it out. Good job!
I really liked the style of this game. It was very unified, especially with the sound effects. The little guys had personality even though they were liabilities. I liked that the mice were absolutely deadly and that you could kill your own little guys. I thought the holes could have been a little more forgiving. I wish there were more levels since I think there's a decent amount you could do with these mechanics; they mesh well. Way to get through the frustrations of Godot and make a polished experience!
This is impressive! You have a replay able and engaging game loop with different abilities, very cool. I only think it's a little bit difficult to remember what keys do what but that comes with experience and will be a difficulty in virtually any game. I had fun with this one, very good job!
Pretty impressive game for 72 hours, I wasn't expecting a boss battle, especially not 3 unique boss patterns and then a final one at the end (unfortunately after 3 tries I couldn't defeat him). Not to mention that you got the special perk upgrades. The music even changed with the bosses, that was also very surprising! I do wish, however, that your weapon's reach was more consistent and perhaps even more forgiving at first. Also, the game was slightly laggy in some way (maybe it was the way the camera moved) but if it ran even smoother, it would be even better. I'm not taking any points off for that though because this is a very good entry!
@justuspan That is the end, thanks for playing!
@magnusfurcifer Thanks for playing! I felt that the least number of controls necessary would make for a more pleasant experience.
@recursor you've never tried raw rat. it's not bad.
@cogcomp I agree I probably spent a little too much time on the shotgun just to use it a single time. (and I think rat hords would be pretty fun too)
@daniboygg I agree, more interaction between the rats and the player would have for sure been more engaging (not to mention that you only use the shotgun once). Here's a secret: you don't even have to kill any of the rats at the end to win the competition.. (I didn't have time to add that I just assumed the player would kill them). But I agree, picking them up seemed right and it was annoying to have to spam the interact key.
@beebster-games Thanks for the kind words. It is certainly a bit wordy at times, agreed.
@quinnster Thanks! The dialogue system was my main innovation for this jam.
@bradur Glad you liked it!
@andreas-decker Thanks  @thomas-bringer Thanks, the built in BBCodes for RichText in Godot made the wavy text easy!
@decadedecaf Haha thank you for the kind words!
@frogman Thanks for playing to the end - I'm glad you liked it! Giving the game personality/life was my main challenge especially after I committed to the low-res top-down style.
@imbajoe That's what I'm saying! :laughing:
@bitlytic Thanks for playing! Yes, I agree with you, good point. I flagged too many as unskippable, especially for a jam game.
Very well polished game. I thought the game started a little bit slow and when you missed a single skeleton, they tended to bunch up around your skull which made it very hard to get it back without dying. Though, this is a skill based aspect and perhaps I should just git gud. The dash helped a lot by adding another dimension to the gameplay. Overall, very well done!
Haha great idea, I didn't really understand that I could or was supposed to deduce exactly who it was but it didn't matter because I was having a good time anyways. I basically just sentenced them to death (and by that I mean watching the EMOJI movie 3 times straight). The graphics were very stylized and consistent but when i played through again, I was spam clicking and the text ended up below the bottom of the screen to where I couldn't click the next choice. But I enjoyed this, great job!
Interesting game, I felt like exploring was pretty rewarding. Yes, i got some dopamine hits when I finally unlocked a room full to the brim of potions and keys (where can I go NOW?). I did feel like the movement was much too slow, especially for such a big map and a game jam where people aren't going to want to play the entire game either. I think the game may have benefited from making it to where enemies could only attack one unit at a time, though, I could just be missing the intent behind that. Overall, I played to the end and it was pretty fun!
Holy cow I tried that for a long time! I can tell it was Godot physics, my hands got stuck inside the walls mutiple times, having to restart. But I persisted and... finally made it to this sign! And... fell back down.. I actually really like the sound design here though, as well as the music. Pretty interesting movement, of course, reminding me of Getting Over It and such games. Well done!

Nice little experience. It felt just like a PICO8 game. The platforming was unique, not to say it didn't work; I think it did. Good job!
Cool game! I've always wanted to make a war simulation type game and this is the beginnings of one (it seems). I like the idea, though the main strategy seems to be spamming warriors (but hey, I only tried normal difficulty so it probably requires more skill). But, I see a lot of strategy that you could add to this game if there were more types of units and maybe even structures you can build. Well done!
Super well done! I played for a long while. Thank goodness for the ice sword, it is by far the best. The machine gun got me killed in the end, as it was the worst at crowd control. Simple gameplay and loop but it was extremely polished and even the dying effect was great. It gave me vibes of the upcoming game Yawnoc by DaFluffyPatato. Overall, great job!
Capture.PNG
The asteroid field is pretty frustrating to get stuck in, but it looks good! I think instead of having a constant velocity, you should make it to where you boost in whatever direction you are moving, that way when you hit a wall, you don't have to turn around and hold down the thrust key until you overcome your previous velocity. But it was fun to carefully maneuver past the bad guys! Overall, nice job!
Haha cool game there. I like these types. It was polished, fitting sounds (though maybe a couple were a bit piercing (i know just turn down my volume, you're right)) and the narrative that went along with it was funny. The visual style was very consistent too. I especially liked the bomb the witnesses. Though, the bribe officials started too quickly and by the time I understood what I was supposed to do, I was dead. But, great job overall !
I don't know what the others are saying but I absolutely destroyed those orcs and beat it first try! The strategy was click as fast as possible while strafing up and down. In fact, I only stayed on the left side of the screen the whole time. Maybe to switch up the strategy, make orcs spawn from the sides of the map and move toward the center, forcing you to move around more or perhaps add some melee enemies that chase you down. But I know this was a game jam and there wasn't much time for such features, just some ideas. I did think the overall mood was too. Good work!
Let's gooo I beat the AI! That is a great take on the theme, I don't even care that the gameplay is math and that you can't tell what operation you picking up. It makes for glorious and terrible surprises alike. Maybe make the size of your bubble have an effect on the path you take through the level? Overall, great job!
It's actually a pretty polished game overall! There were times, though, when I would get the purple particles and then before the sigil ever appeared would end my run immediately. I think allowing the player to upgrade more often then once every three days would make it more engaging. But this is a good entry. Well done.
Interesting idea. I won, but I didn't know what I was doing exactly. But I do see potential.
LET'S GOOO!! I don't know if a high score is actually good or how I won, but I was having fun. This could actually be a fun clicker game. I was finding it satisfying already to hit in the middle of moons and have that rainbow triangle effect pop up. It was satisfying. Of course, that was after I figured out what to do, but I think that if you added sounds, it would be immensely satisfying.
Capture.PNG
I liked how you introduced new paw types gradually. I also liked the different sounds as you matched different sounds paws. Decently polished experience and it's pretty calming and simple. Good job!
Haha that was cute! I enjoyed the various mini games, as they were funny and not frustrating. I might put the circle drawing challenge at the end so that people don't get frustrated and turn off the game immediately. Of course, that's for less skilled people . I think all that's missing is sound effects and maybe a bit cleaner UI and/or text/scene transitions. Great job overall!
This was a nice change of pace from the other games that I played. It was calm, not complex in the least bit, and easy to understand. I didn't feel rushed, but I still felt good when I got the bugs to fling to their destination. The sounds didn't need to be anything more, other than maybe a slight buzz of a street lamp or something. I think this is a great minimalistic entry, but I wish there were more levels. I really like this!
I just wanted to post here to let you know that I am the best at this game. Also, I definitely did not play 5 times and each time was irrationally stressed out.
Capture.PNG
I think that was really fun. I've never really played a game like that. You already know my head was boppin the whole time too. I was repeating out-loud "honey, honey, honey" when I switched screens. You know, this game was pretty relaxing and well polished. Great job!
That was really cute! The music in the background fits really well. Also, I really like the procedural animation of the legs on the bug as well as all the little sound effects. Obviously, it reminds me of Bennett Foddy's Getting Over It and I think it achieved that comparison well. Great job!
Capture.PNG
Yeah, I'm just better. Sorry guys.Capture.PNG
@keithswanger @klaus-peter @ava-skoog
Here's the story of how I beat the game without cheating if your interested.. :smirk:
Also, I happened to beat the world record of 1:48.56
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eJq3y1sJfc
I really liked the little sounds that the blobs made and they really were a bunch of cuties. I did get frustrated at the end; I think maybe the difficulty is a little much for a game jam game but it's still fun nonetheless. I also really liked how the music would gradually get louder as the water got closer and closer to you, which I think is a really nice touch. Overall, I was impressed by this entry!
This is a good start to what I think could be a pretty fully-featured game. I like the BIRBS and I like the sound effects. I even liked that it sounded like I was a mile away from the airport ! But I was a bit confused at first because when I set the window to full-screen on the WebGL build, all the text on the screen was removed for some reason.. So I had no clue what the point was until I saw your screenshots that DID have text. But yeah this is definitely a calm and soothing game. Though, I think you could add some more mechanics to make you think more about which BIRBS you put on which card (since I basically just threw whatever BIRBS I had onto the lowest card). Overall, good job!
I like the style you went for here and the mood was well created and sustained. I also liked the little animations on the text that you added (isn't the RichText BBCode in Godot just so great?)!
Dang this is really unforgiving! I think that the beginning area should be a bit easier. Especially that first really long rope is very difficult to get past. Also, the movement is maybe a bit floaty for my liking. I also think that when you die, you should keep your money, even if the shop doesn't appear. Other than that, I think it's overall a pretty polished experience. I love the ropes; I wish there were more. I really like the sound effects though; they add a lot of character! I also really like the shop; I think it adds a lot and makes me want to continue playing. Perhaps you could add some kind of acceleration or handling upgrade. Somehow, I was able to buy the lantern for only $44, but I'm not complaining. Solid entry!
Really interesting idea! I got to the end, but only after reading the comments and realizing that you can RMB to throw balls! I still really like the mood, and it is a really polished prototype! Great job!
ooooo the mines I love them. That was satisfying. I like that the sounds are actually accurate to what you might hear underwater. Also, the ram attack is pretty sick. I think it's overall pretty polished, and yes, atmospheric! I also really like the font. Great job!
What a full and wholesome experience! Definitely a wonderful use of the theme (I actually had thought about doing something similar). Not only that, but it was funny!
This game is addicting, and I would say it has so much that can be done to improve the experience. For one, if you just added some satisfying particles, hit animation, break sounds, and upgrade sounds, it would be game-changing. My one critique is that it is just a ton of pressing buttons. I was simply spamming WASD and then spamming the upgrade button. After there was nothing new after depth 110, I gave up, but that's where you could add some new mechanic or new shop item. There's a lot you could do here!
This is pretty cool actually. I figured out that the cave was procedurally generated, right? What was really missing was some feedback. For example, when you are swinging, a rope friction sound. When you place an anchor, some sort of metal sound effect. When you take damage, an "AAAAAA" sound effect. Slap some echo on them and it would feel more immersive for sure. I think that the darkness effect could be even more pronounced as well. I only made it to about 110 meters before dying. Overall, I like it and it has potential!
The amount of content here is pretty impressive, actually. I really like the 2.5D aesthetic, and the music was :fire:. Though, it took me some time to figure out what was going on or what my goal was. First of all, it wasn't clear in the hub area to continue going to the right. Also, the UI didn't scale correctly with the screen size and wasn't very uniformly placed. One other thing about the UI, after I clicked on the inventory buttons and would press A or D, it automatically used my keyboard's input to select buttons to the left or right, eventually selecting the exit button, quitting the game for me when I pressed the spacebar to jump :(. (to fix this, disable the Navigation on your buttons (I also noticed that the hearts were selectable)). Last thing about the ui is that when the text overlapped, it was pretty unreadable, and the inventory could use some clarity. One of the reasons I didn't end up playing to the end was the distance that I had to travel just to sell my items at the shop. However, I think that the shop adds a lot to the game for sure. My favorite part was when the environment and music changed with each different area, that was really cool. Overall, there's a lot that can be improved upon here, but I think that with a few minor tweaks, the user experience and clarity would be much improved. Great job!
Fun little experience! It was almost like a speed puzzle game, trying to figure out what to use on what and where. I do wish that there was a way to tell what could be picked up and what couldn't a bit easier without having to put your mouse over it. The biggest puzzle was the end when you have to use the _______ on the __________ to summon rescue! I also liked the lighthearted music; it almost gave me a sense of security! Good job!
@psychomonster Thanks for playing! I added some more love to the presentation for ya!
@thisyc @polymathld Thanks for playing!
@dnp Haha thanks! That's exactly what I was going for. I wanted you to assume that there would be some kind of danger lurking, but of course, I didn't have time for that! Good point about the clipping into the walls, it does break the immersion for sure.
@t-c I appreciate it!
@ugly-robot Yeah! The cutscene stuff took up quite a bit of time. I built it in Unity during the jam using a simple state machine kind of script I called Cutscene. [Start] → [Wait for Dialogue] → [Player Movement] → [Next Frame or Finish]. For every sentence of dialogue, I would have a CutsceneFrame from a list of CutsceneFrames that I specify in the inspector.
Capture.JPG
What I like about the way I did it is that I am still using the player controller to move in cutscenes, just without the player's input. This way, I automatically get the breathing sounds and the correct sprint speed when I would otherwise have to "fake" it if I were going to simply move the player with Unity's built-in animations. You can totally check out the source code if you want! It's not robust and I'm still not completely happy with it, but it works well enough for the introduction and the beginning of the levels.
I don't quite get it, but it seems interesting. Grabbing and letting go of the rope is interesting though. It could use some more sound effects I think, like the flashlight turning on, the moth getting you, and you falling to your death. Anyhow, it is definitely mysterious!
Fittingly named New York Escape  I do wish that there was some other mechanic to switch it up at some point. I'm pretty insane at the game as you can see
Capture.JPG
Quite well done! I liked that there were a nice variety of towers and that they gradually unlocked. I would have like to have a better indicator as to when the depth would increase, but maybe that's just part of the game. I also think that there was a good amount of strategy involved in where you place your towers as well. Only thing is that I personally didn't appreciate the curse word being permanently on the screen. Also, I didn't intuitively know these mechanics until after reading the description:
You can place Plantz on top of other plants to overwrite them! You can click on ants to damage them a little… You can click on coins to pick them up!
Great entry nonetheless!
I like the Blackthornprod esc art style, and I appreciate the music!
Like everyone else is saying, 3D minesweeper was bound to happen at some point, and for good reason. I think it adds much needed depth to the gameplay. Though, it could definitely use some more polish, (would have liked to have the layers be switchable with 1, 2, and 3) this version does the job just fine. Good job!
I FOUND THE SECRET O2! That was pretty cool. I just fazed through the ground like in Metroid. I like the thematic music, it could definitely use some polish in the visual and audio categories, but I did like that it was consistent. (there's beauty in the simplicity) I would say that it feels a bit like a walking simulator in the beginning. Maybe if it got to the action faster it would hook more players in the beginning? Overall, well done!
Haha I liked your interpretation of the theme. I really liked when the book turned into your enemy in turn-based combat. Great idea to use a book to create a game!
Hey, this is a pretty interesting idea! Aside from the lag, I only wish that there were more enemy types and maybe make the waves shorter. I was really surprised to see the shop that you added, that definitely adds a lot to the game! I also really enjoyed the landing in the water effects, that was really neat. Well done!
Hey this is pretty cool. I like the music, I think it fits this style game. I do think that the bullet-time effect is a bit too long and happens before I can really shoot at anything, kind of hurting the flow of the game. I also think that some kind of response for when you hit an enemy would be game changing. You could also experiment with how and when the player gets different guns. Just saying, 1 rocket swarmer + 1 rocket swarmer = :fire: Good job!
There's something about this game that is really great. I played for like 15 minutes. Though it's tempting to simply spam jump, it really shines when you take it slow, utilizing the boulders. I also find the fact that you managed to implement upgrades really impressive. I had a lot of fun with this one!
It would have been cool if the planet got closer as you got closer to the ground, but nice job anyhow
Nice. It's a charming simplistic game! My only gripe is that the fall damage is a bit unforgiving. That last part was pretty frustrating for me, but I pushed through! Good job!
Ooo I like the sonar effect! I did think that the dialogue typing sound was a little jarring. However, I do appreciate the fun facts! I was surprised at the ending, it was a nice treat for making it all that way!
I love the rebellious energy throughout. I was a bit of a rebel myself, as I managed to keep the title screen along with it's groovy beats playing while I smashed through the tower (this also made it to where I couldn't die). The gameplay is actually pretty satisfying, and the music ties it all together. Well done! Capture.JPG
This game is really interesting, and I think that it has potential to be really good.
I think that the biggest thing that's holding it back is the difficulty and perceived helplessness of the player. One thing that may have helped was some sort of cue that an enemy was about to shoot, that way you could time your grapple effectively.
At the moment, I think that the skill aspect is focused mainly on aiming, since that is the only way to make progress, whether it's aiming your grapple or your weapon. That's why I really like the grapple bash idea; it adds another option for the player to make progress. However, the problem with it is that even if I see an angle where I could grapple bash, typically it's straight into more than one enemy, which would inevitably lead to my demise, or if I am about to successfully land a grapple bash, the enemy would attack me before I could get to it. Also, the angles that you can perform a grapple dash are pretty limited due to the slow speed of the grapple. In general, I think it'd be fun to be able to sling around the map with your grapple hook really quickly, perhaps even grappling enemies. Your movement speed is slow, but I don't think that that's in itself a bad thing. I just wish that the grapple made up for that lack of speed more.
Another way to make up for the difficult aiming (which isn't necessarily bad) is to increase the size of enemies' hitboxes, just to make the player feel better (and make aiming more forgiving). Also, I also kind of wish that you could grapple bash stationary turrets, since otherwise I'm left to slowly catching their arrows and shooting them.
I know there's a lot of critical feedback here, but there are also a lot of parts of the game that are done really well! For example, it's a nice touch that the arrow visuals actually appear to stick to what they hit. The tutorial was also well done, and don't get me started on the bass line. The player's arms make the style stand out and they look really neat! I also felt pretty smart when I found out that the turrets could hit each other. I did manage to beat the game, and I felt pretty good about it! Overall, great job! You already have a really solid game loop; it just needs some refinement to take it to the next level!
I'm quite impressed with the amount of content in this one! I did think that the sound for hitting was pretty annoying, and some of the animations took too long, but I can't get over how cool the deckbuilding element is! It's also a very difficult game, I just don't have the time to go through it all! Great job!
If I were to sum up this game in two words, it would be: intriguingly creepy. The mood is a solid 5 stars for me. I don't know how you did it, but the music and sound effects were hitting the spot. The character portraits were amazing, and the dialogue was so... fitting. I think the only thing to improve would be the slime attacks at the beginning of the days. They were too easy and didn't really have any bearing on the gameplay in my opinion, though I did like getting new weapons and such. Wonderful job!
Shoot! If you made that music in 48 hours, boy am I impressed! It's insane! The gameplay is alright. Not much depth. I do like the sense of mystery that I still get though; it's amplified by the messages that pop up when you collect items. Great job!
@k48uto Fair enough! Nice bunny stack. That's a pretty common strat these days.
@willoxs Wow! Good job getting them all! Yeah, that 89% text is supposed to show 100%. In the code, if I detect a 100%, I just don't update the text for some reason.. :face_palm: Those are really good suggestions. Also, thanks for the tip on the bug. I appreciate you playing!
Nice little chill puzzle game. I thought it was pretty well done. It felt cohesive and on theme. Sweet scene transition and sound effects!
Interesting. I didn't feel too inclined to keep my treasure after I found out that there's no real consequence to not having it. I also didn't seem to realize that you could double jump, even after doing it that first time at the beginning. The same goes for wall jumping. At one point I thought that I was stuck because I didn't know you could wall jump. Anyhow, I do like the style of the game. Good job!

@itsboats
Right when I stopped recording I got this run  :anger:

@osh-studio Someone made a speedrun.com for it! I submitted a slightly slower run than 0:26:80 but with a video https://www.speedrun.com/Fartnite/runs/zx52xv8m
@osh-studio I suppose so!
Very moody! It's funny how a simple mechanic can keep me playing until the end. It was admittedly pretty satisfying, though completely void of any challenge. Good job!
Wonderful mood. Even though I thought that the gameplay was really simple, it was engaging simply due to the atmosphere in which it took place! Good job!
There is A distinct reason that A game such as "A?!" is enjoyable. A, being a letter, is now also A game. A feature that I enjoyed from "A?!" game is the sense of hype that seemed to flow from its inner A. A suggestion that I have is to publish "A?!" game on Steam, as it is A masterpiece. Grade A work.
I was blown away by the cutscene; that was hecking awesome! The mood and overall style is so cohesive and the bug's voices bring it all together. I felt like I was playing Rocket League for a second there! Great job!
Super simple little idle game. Nothing else more to say. I wish there was more to do, but it was relaxing in its simplicity at the same time. I do wish it was easier to collect the eggs though. Good job!
p.s. why the limit on the number of chickens? I wanted to break the game
I beat it. I hate the controls! But I like how lively the city feels. I think yours is better than mine. Good job, roommate.

Awesome game! Graphics are great. Just very tough to find the little things. P.S. the title reminds me of Amazon.
Love it!!! I played almost 4 times but never got the 1,500$! The audio was hilarious. It went "dodododo!" after a order was finished
Nice game! I like the lava at the end of the keyboard. Not an easy game I will say, but overall, fun!
When I saw you post about this game during the compo, I wanted to play it right away. I really liked the art! If you finish it,(you should) I want to play it. It would make a great game.
Nice game! So satisfying when you would get a big chain of points. Great idea too!
So much fun! Best idea I've seen yet!
Cool! Very tough as well. Interesting how you used the theme. The graphics are great!
Great idea. I never would have thought to make a game like that. Very hard but fun! I tried many times but did't make far.
So much fun!! Got stuck on level 3 and just kept trying. Love the animations.
Cool game. I didn't do to well though! I'm not the best typer in the world!
Cute game! Great mechanics. I would never have thought to make a game like this. If you would add more, and add better graphics, you could probably put this on Steam or something.
Very nice game!! Quite hard though. It seemed as though there were too many space invaders to complete the first screen, but overall, very nicely done!
Not too shabby! P.S. love your profile picture!
Amazing! This is my favorite game so far! You have to figure it all out first though. If you complete this game, this can be a thing!!
Great idea for this theme. On the 3rd screen, I got past the spikes but never got an up card. Finally I had no choice but to die. I thought that the spikes were a nice touch.
Awesome game! One of my favorites so far.
Amazing idea! I like the snipe cards and the slow time ones as well!
Nice game. Just pretty laggy for me. Love how you can change it to rampage mode. Glad none of the people were home while I was on rampage mode!
Fun little game! Had fun playing it.
This was one of the best entries I've seen so far. It had those great puzzles that make you kick yourself after you figure them out. Loved this one!
Nice game! I agree with @Memedev0.
Thanks for all the feedback guys!
Thanks @nilstastic!
@legavroche Thanks for the feedback! The slow-mo during a meteor attack is actually intentional.
This is pretty awesome. I love how the cards are randomized. A little hard to tell when you take damage. Maybe add a sound for that? Otherwise, great game.
Nice game! Played a lot and got 1,300 as my best score.
So cute! I felt happy the whole time. Especially when the chicken made its way right back to grandma. Really like the ambience and style of course. Even just some little typing sounds when the people are talking would add so much. That was a relaxing experience!
I think it's an interesting idea where you have to balance your vision with risking giving away your position. However, I do think that something is missing. I kind of am always forced to repeatedly press space until I can get a feel for the level, which isn't super fun, especially on level 2 where I couldn't find the path at all. But still a good job, and good idea!
@awdsasdaw @pocketdog Thanks! @teroflups Thanks! The theme idea started with the music signals your shooting or something but it is really vague.. @rangoiv good thinking! @wraithind Thanks! Yeah, that's true, the enemies pushing the weapons can be quite cumbersome. The weapons are supposed to shoot to the beat, but if you played the web version, it likely was pretty laggy overall. Also, I included a setting to help account for any audio delay (mostly present in bluetooth) which could have helped.
The exp didn’t seem to do anything, but I saw in a gif you posted that it should let you upgrade. Unfortunately, that never happened for me. I wish you started the camera fully zoomed out, not sure why you’d ever want it zoomed in. It felt really slow. I wanted some more speed to my actions. But still, interesting idea!
Interesting one. I was stuck on the Reach level. The restart button kept messing up which people have already pointed out. Good idea for a puzzle game!
Interesting. I really didn't understand what I was supposed to do the entire time to be honest. It was kind of fun to try to figure it out, but I never got the satisfaction of going "oooh, that's what that is." The main thing that frustrated me was the slooooow camera animations and getting in and out of the chair took forever. It made me not want to continue playing. But, I finally figured out the phone where it kept telling me a number and I had to input it into the phone pad. I didn't think that was toooo obvious. I still don't really know what the interactable black boxes were or what interacting with them did. Nor do I understand what the electrical puzzle was. Or what was the point of the radar signal interface. But I still beat it. I did think that matching the sin waves game was pretty cool. It was an ambitious game and I think it's pretty cool, just a little rough around the edges. It's the start of something really neat!
Crazy game! Felt like a fever dream
I must have missed something in the tutorial because I wondered around the map for a good 5 minutes not realizing that I had to input a battery somewhere to continue... It wasn't really clear how to input a battery either, as I expected to have an input ui popup every time. Then I realized that playing in full screen removed such UI popups including how much juice you have and your current carrying capacity :face_palm:.. I bought and used the arm laser but it didn't seem to do anything? I hate that you don't have control over how long your pickup beam thing is out. I didn't understand the beam distance upgrade. I wish you could dump out your inventory faster. My pickup beam also kept getting stuck under the juicer at times.
The ending was the most confusing part. I got the button that said to shoot the laser but it was greyed out, so I thought that it would become usable at the end of the timer. But when the timer went out, I got this big skull graphic without any explanation of what just happened or what I did wrong. I mean, I already had bought the laser from the shop. Maybe I missed something, but that was kind of frustrating.
I will say though, this was a pretty polished experience other than some clarity issues. It was really satisfying to pick up the little guys and the sounds helped a lot. Nice music too! I also enjoyed seeing the variety of different alien guys spawn in. And did they poop, cause I thought I saw poop  ? Anyways, cool game, I feel like I beat it even if the game disagrees! I got like all of the upgrades and all the batteries except the last radar upgrade so yeah. I played for like 40 minutes. Great job!
@picross Thanks again for the game and the response! The claw controls make sense now! I just tried to recreate the bug, but I couldn't get it to work. I'm not sure what I experienced, but it's probably not very common. Anyways, I'm using Opera GX.
@volish sorry I posted that for the wrong game
I saved Ohio. 10/10
Suuuuuper polished! I loved the game feel. However, I did find that the meteor game was WAY too easy and kind of bored me every time it happened. However, I was impressed at the high quality style and dash of humor! Please, what did you use to make this? Crazy that you got a boss fight in too (I beat it)
Great mood for sure. Having to press the number keys to use your abilities coulda been more clear. Nice cutscene too.
Nice! I bet no one's beat me..
