Great game! Art is nice and the seasons aspect is really cool. Found it a bit annoying to accurately place seeds and water on the right tile, maybe add a box to show where you are aiming? Overall really cool game!

Cute graphics! I also had problems aligning the player to correctly place seeds etc. I think thats because the tile gets selected based on the center point of the player sprite. Instead the bottom of the sprite would probably be a better fit because that would be the tile the player visally stands on. But a box showing where you are aiming like apLavaridge suggested would also help.
Nice entry, I'd polish a little bit the UX with more inputs especially a different key for use and pick up. Right on theme.
Nice game, the concept is straightforward and I love that you took the time to implement a guided tutorial. The music was equal parts chill and hectic, and the graphics worked well. I had fun with it, even though I lost a bunch of plants at the end because I was too slow to water them in time :(
Like others mentioned, the controls are difficult. The game requires precise positioning, but the character moves really fast. Maybe it would be better if the player was aligned to a grid, so that you'll never be standing on the wrong spot.
Anyways, nice entry!
You were wanting the 'harvest' theme! I wasn't expecting that! At first, the controls puzzled me. I think that you should have separate buttons for using a tool and dropping it. That would add to the fun and decrease the frustration I believe. The audio was fun and matched the pace and mood. I think the player movement should be controllable. Maybe have shift be walk and default is run. It is a really interesting mechanic to try to plant, water, and harvest all of your crops in 10 seconds. Either way, thanks for the game and great job!
I think there should be some improvement to the controls overall, or something that marks which slot you are pointing the objects at. But good job!
I liked it, it was a little imprecise but overall, good job!
Thanks for all the comments and suggestions! I will definitely implement the recommendations in the future.
Stardew valley is not a chill game. I think this jam just captured that essence XD. I really enjoyed this Stardew speedvalley. I kinda wish the collision box was more generous.
Cool idea. I like it. by
Cool game! Tough to correctly place all the things and having the same button be pick up, put down and use is a bit rough. It's hard to tell what tile you are on. I didn't pay much attention to the seasons themselves, the crops just grow on their own it feels like. Still, it's a nice game and I had a lot of fun playing it.
HUGE fan of the music! Great choice to have the music change with the seasons and it was a great track. Art is very cute, especially the player. Small constructive feedback - as others have said, the controls were a little difficult. It seemed like if I was facing right, I would water the tile above me? I'm not exactly sure what is going on under the hood but this seems like a really good, small post jam project to get the interaction mechanic refined. Maybe create a tile indicator/outline so the player knows what tile is going to be affected before they commit their action? Anyway I really like what you have going here, could be cool to polish it up and then get on to making more great stuff. :) Good work!
That's a AA game for a jam! Well done!.
Great music and graphics. Very challenging game for me. Not always clear what tile I am going to affect, might be nice to have a targeting reticule. Also, would be good to let me drop seeds outside the area when I accidentally pick up the wrong one, or maybe avoid spawning them too close to each other so that it's clear which ones you want to pick up. Good submission!
Really good game, cosy and pretty fun to play, i really liked the audio changing for each season :)
Lovely game! I liked the music and the art - it had a very nice feel. The season animations were a nice touch.
My main criticism is that I couldn't remember which crops belonged to which season. It would have been good to have a reminder of the active crop below the season name (or on the chest). The fact that the word "Spring" was yellow but the crop red, and vice versa for Autumn didn't help.
Great job getting this together in 48 hours.
The audio is very well made, a song for each season, really cool
Hi, I had some problems alining the player right. But its a cute game. The pixel art is all over the place, items are too detailed in comparison to others. Like the Chest and the vegtables. I liked though the change of the seasons as you cant miss it. The music was stressfull but very fitting. Like a stardew valley speed run :)
Wow! It's strange to say, but this is the first game from this jam where I really felt how fast 10 seconds could go by.
Pretty sneaky how this could have worked for either "10 Seconds" or "Harvest".
I especially liked the tutorial level at the beginning. Perfect balance before throwing the player in. Really great proof of concept for your game and the simple but effective music hit just the right notes. Great work!
Such a fun game! Both the audio and graphics are really nice. It took me a while to get the hang of where to stand to water the plants, and I wish there was a separate button to put your tools down (I kept putting down the bucket when I wasn't in the right spot to water the plant)
nice game, gets kinda stressful in a few situations, also using the same key to pick, use and drop and item gets in the way when trying to play faster, and the plot that gets used isn“t always the one i want to use, apart from that its a really cool game!!
Nice fast paced farming. Graphics look nice, although some animations for actions would have been neat. Interactable objects are nicely highlighted and transition to each season is clear. Speaking of which the change in music is always a great touch in detail.
As has been said already, the aim is a bit vague and could use clearer indication and/or more leniency.
Good job!
Pretty fun game, the graphics are pretty well polished and I was a fun of the music. Like the others said I found it a bit hard to accurately know which tile I was interacting with, having separate buttons to put the tools down would've helped as well as I'd keep putting them down while trying to use them by not being in the right spot.
A little hard to interact with the tiles I wanted, and at first I wasn't sure what the end game criteria was. Until the "Final Year" message popped up I wasn't sure what I was trying to optimize for. Interesting game though! I really enjoyed how each season had its own musical instruments. That was a very nice touch. Good job on this game!
That's a nice game! My only concern is about controls: very often we drop an item when we are trying to use it, that's a bit frustrating when we try to go fast!
Aside from that, it was very pleasant to play, well done!
This is 2nd 10-second farming game that I've played but it definitely did its own thing. Once I got the hang of it, it felt like it was quite nicely balanced. You are limited, but not too much, by the options on offer and have to make tactical decisions. Nice simple tutorial as well. Music was quite nice and the changing seasons was a very cool touch. The biggest obstacle to fun was the controls - kept putting objects down instead of using them! I like the art too, except for the mixing of resolutions, but that's mostly personal taste! Overall, really nice bit of work.
