Good job! Is there any way to WIN the game or LOSE the game?
There is! if you summon 3 demon moons, and you use them to form the triangle you will meet the end condition. In order to summon a demon moon you have to observe the mars, moon and sun (in any order, by clicking them) and click the center of any 3 bodies.
Pretty nice, more explanation of mechanics would be nice, also I can't tell if my clicks impact the bodies or if that is me imagining it. Maybe add ways to manipulate where they are to rack up even more points
Took me a while to get what im doing but liked the ide :) got a cramp in my hand now xD
I'm still unclear as to what I'm supposed to do to progress. Any hints?
I did plenty of clicking and got a score of 3000 but ensure what I was supposed to be doing or if my clicks had any impact at all, maybe type a tutorial on the LD page to assist people.
I got a lot of points but had NO idea what to do - I thought I was doing it right until I saw your comment about summoning moons. How do you do that? A few times I got an extra point from getting a "midpoint' but I still had no clue what I was doing. I'd love to play this, could you please provide some hints about how to play?
Did not manage to summon anything. Not sure if it doesn't work or if I just don't understand. Got a bunch of points by clicking midpoints, but nothing happened.
Yea, I burnt out about 16 hours into the jam, so I didn't have any tutorials, so I can understand the confusion.
To summon a moon: you have to click in any order on the 3 original bodies (mars, sun, moon) then click the center of the triangle formed by them. you might have to wait for them to get closer
To win: observe the 3 original bodies, then click on the triangle formed by 3 demon moons.
To make it easier to win, you can summon more than 3 demon moons, in theory it could go quite high.
LET'S GOOO!! I don't know if a high score is actually good or how I won, but I was having fun. This could actually be a fun clicker game. I was finding it satisfying already to hit in the middle of moons and have that rainbow triangle effect pop up. It was satisfying. Of course, that was after I figured out what to do, but I think that if you added sounds, it would be immensely satisfying.

This is a pretty great concept imo! It feels like the actual math old school astronomers would do. Something about having no control over the orbiting bodies, but still being able to influence things by observation, feels very scientific and interesting.
I wasn't sure what was going on at first cause I went straight to the Itch page but I got hype as hell every time a demon moon was summoned
It looks pretty, like a visualization software, and trust me I love those it is a compliment. I like the gradients and the way shapes form, and when I got a grasp of the mechanics, and got myself a doom moon(speak it 5 times in a row, fast, no pauses!).
I get the burn out completely, going solo is hard, and creating an idea over the concept of sygyzy is hard too, and yet here you are. It was a short but enjoyable idea, shame for the burn out because this could have gone into many interesting potential ways with a bit more time applied to it, felt like a fun minigame I would see in a complex game with different alignments of celestial bodies and the like. Thank you for your entry!
Great concept, could be executed better. It would be great to have a slow motion option making it easier to click precisely.
