LD54 — Limited Space

Swear Jar by Steffo 2023-10-05T00:25:06Z

This game was interesting! I tested in my Xiaomi cellphone, and it worked quite well, I loved how the gyroscope worked, it made the game a ton of fun! The graphics are also pretty cute, the art was a high point for me. I echo the voices, even if it isn't as fun, a HTML version with a controller, or just using a keyboard with buttons to keep the balance, I get wanting to stay true to your view but the more people get to play your game the better!

Hardcore Overload by FiveCyclops 2023-10-05T04:57:01Z

I love this design, it is somple yet fun. I love finding games like this, that are simple to learn and bring honest fun, haven't played something like this for a while. Very in-theme as well.

Ecolibrium by kazuo256 2023-10-05T05:26:05Z

I love the art, the idea of using the Biosphere as the concept of Limited Space is really out of the box and interesting. The graphics are really classy and I had no issues whatsoever with speed in the web version, and my PC is considerably old by now. Took a while to understand, but I could see this concept growing.

Work Until You're Undead by Diego Escalante 2023-10-05T05:46:58Z

The atmosphere is great, for some reason made me long for more Zoom 100 episodes... The flashlight was cool, I love that sort of effect, but while I get the limited space here is supposed to be the flashlight area, the area feels massive to explore. The music is great, the voice acting is clear and the gameplay can becomes quite thrilling when a lot of zombies pile up on you! Corporative zombie slaying never gets old!

Limited Parking Space by Johnsensei 2023-10-05T06:18:25Z

This game feels wildly prophetic, hope the streets aren't crazy like this one day. For sure I will be weary of flag-themed cars. Seriously though, the game was fun to play, the polish was great and the other drivers actually felt like living agents. And whoever I am dating, if she takes a glance at the traffic she will forgive a 5 minues tardiness!

Ludum Dare Solid: Limited Space Action by Daniel Grinshpon 2023-10-05T06:38:41Z

What a Solid entry!

Seriously the logo was a killer, I love it. The whole homage to the most underrated MGS game felt on point. It felt like a loveletter to the GB/GBC era in many ways. Clear graphics and mechanics, no bloat, interesting challenging stages and very responsible controllers. I rather liked it. I could have easily played twice as many stages. Short and sweet.

Haxwell Modem: Beyond the Firewall by shaner421 2023-10-05T05:11:27Z

The game is pretty tough! I honestly feel like the roguelite aspects of inventory management fit with the theme better than the defensive mechanic itself. I love how the cues are well done and how polished the experience feels, even if I feel the feedback for the bounces on enemies could be a bit more telegraphed. But I honestly love the level of polish in this and this is an idea I could totally see being taken to an actual game.

RoboRage by Kr4sh3 2023-10-06T01:02:16Z

The style is great and I loved the graphics, it felt very complete, I particularly loved how quickly the instructions were conveyed. That being said, the fundational mechanic of shooting down to boost the height had a very limited time space to be effective, and it was really important to use. The vairance of height of jumps made what was otherwise a fun platformer into a furstrtating experience. The upgrading felt great even if it made grinding become part of the game. Really enjoyed it.

Space Infestation by Thierry 2023-10-06T01:30:34Z

That was a big file to download!

The graphics are great, I love how you guys used shader effects, it is really rare to see them used well in a Jam. The game was fun, the UI worked extremely well, and I loved the rate of fire and handling so many targets was very satisfying!

Inside Out by Matootsy 2023-10-05T05:37:50Z

Beautiful assets, I mean it. It shows just how detailed and polished the levels seem. It feels like the vertical slice for a really interesting game. I love how the mood is set, and the idea on getting smaller and smaller is very cool, and how the walls grow is also very well done. Let me know when there are more levels because I would definitely play more.

TetraPolis by PassbyKamenRider 2023-10-05T06:08:37Z

This is my definition of "I would have never ever thought I would see that". An iteration on a timeless classic like tetris is always challenging, and it is a genre I never expected to mesh with it. The idea is very very creative needless to say, it felt a bit hard to balance the resources and the pieces at the same time. At first it felt overwhelming but as soon as I got wind of things suddenly it became fun, actually going through the instructions helped a lot.

Musk Vs Zuck for the GameJoy ( PLAY ON ITCH.IO LINK ) by Joymagine 2023-10-06T01:41:09Z

The graphics are great, it felt like a brand new gameboy game, the frame was a surprising and exciting addition. It won all over the board in that sense, I love how it felt like a gameboy. I would have requested a character selection screen, but honestly I don't think I personally would root for either side! Cool game!

Mantra by Haotian Chen 2023-10-05T06:30:47Z

The game was fun, the mechanics were on point. I felt the controls sometimes did't register, but that didn't take away from the atmosphere and graphics, it felt pretty polished. I love the mechanics though, and the setting is interesting. Can't wait to see more and more good Godot games popping up in every new Ludum!

Confession Room by Dijkstra 2023-10-05T06:28:00Z

My main confession is that I am apparently a really cold blooded killer, the game said so over and over!

Honestly, nothing that I would have expected to see. I love the graphics here and I feel the faces were effective. Also the tales were interesting, I really liked the not so obvious morals here, how you need not to be judgemental just always care for the people. Empathy is indeed a very underdeveloped mechanic in games, or so it feels sometimes.

Downsizers by Nimolas 2023-10-05T00:21:40Z

First off the music is rather relaxing. It has a bit of a whimsical, magical vibe, it made me feel less like I was sorting a room and more like a Harry Potter Verse Mage sorting objects with my powers hahaha.

Top down is a great view, and I like how all assets were made to be distinguishable in both sideview and top down. The fact they are all different kinds of furniture that belong in different rooms made me feel a need to sort them together at first, which didn't amount to more points. The view of the finished room at the end is very very satisfying and is a good testament to the chaos the game provides.

If I have to say, maybe the Tetris-like mechanic is my main issue, maybe if instead of a box and items falling, I could be provided straight with an item, maybe sorting should be more like sorting and have more delined groups, maybe a "Temporary Storage" to keep items. And I like the way it plays but it would be awesome to have more chances to see the Isometric angular view, that was for me the most satisfying aspect.

Don't Get Crushed! by RossK 2023-10-05T06:01:10Z

This is simple and elegant and fun, I actually caught myself trying again and again to beat my own result. Maybe some more statistics like distance and the like will make it even more engaging, like more opportunities to track my own development. The mood is great, feels a bit like a movie scene at times. The graphics are symbolic but they work. Some checkpoints would also provably boost replayability even further.

Inventory Manager by GaryNinja 2023-10-05T00:31:41Z

Grats for doingyour first game! Next time you do one of these you will be amazed at how much you have improved, and how tasks became suddenly easier and quicker. It is rough around the edges but there is a lot of systems at play here, which means for sure your next attempt will really get there.

But the idea is very on theme, and I always found these inventory systems one of my favorite subgames.

And if you can, next time learn how to publish to web. It just makes it easier for others to give a game feedback! Good luck!

100 MB by Null1233 2023-10-05T05:19:41Z

Good thing this game isn't actually 100 mbs! I like the idea a lot, the playing with a built-in OS concept is pretty interesting, and I could see this growing with more boss notes, or organization aspects. Maybe more files and selection with shift and box selection, handling the chaos that ensues. But a simulated OS is a great idea, and limited HD space gives me nostalgic memories from back when a Gigabyte felt endless.

Eye of the Storm by Rogue_Snake 2023-10-06T01:13:44Z

It took a bit to understand how the storm worked. However it makes a ton of sense and ties the game with the theme. Thanks to the storm I just started to explore the map more, which shown how much work was put on it. I just feel maybe more cues to telegraph the storm would have made the experience smoother. Great job!

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-05T06:34:52Z

Darn, this is too real, I too have a small SSD, this game wins points for reality! It was creative, honestly. Oh all the times I had to install Umbelievable Engine I to IV, with all the updates that added new incomplete systems and tons of adorable corporative bloat.

Also on the deleting aspect, it felt weird deleting memories and files like that, almost like I was sorting my own HD. The art was on point, and it was fun, I really enjoyed this very creative take on the theme.

Draki's Journey by GrizzlyJer 2023-10-05T00:41:17Z

I love how polished this feels. It just feels like the demo of something complete. The audio is spot on, the animations are just right, the light effects are exciting and I also felt a ton of sympathy for the vampire. Even with all the qualities, the text itself was for me a true stand out, something that many games forget, but in your case it just added some gravitas for your adorable Bloodsucker.

Saturated Installation by GlitchyDust 2023-10-06T01:45:12Z

I love this! This is innovation at it's finest. I saw others playing with the fake os concept, the idea of hijiking the OS and messing with files was just a blast. I really loved it. I agree with others, the pacing was uneven, but definitely on my top 5 so far, no joke.

LD55 — Summoning

Summoner Story by Nicso 2024-05-01T03:49:59Z

The idea is very interesting. The art of the cards is sublime, and I love how the light on the tabble became a very great "cursor" for the mouse that only added visual interest, and took advantage of the 3D aspect of items. An interesting summoner table top simulator! Great job, very innovative idea!

Summon a Succubus by fullmontis 2024-04-18T02:50:58Z

It took a while to understand the game, but the idea is spot on. I also have to say, I went to your page at the end and I rather love your art style, how you have strong influences of classic animes and cartoons, and draw beautiful pin-ups with rythm, elegance and strong appeal, you just got yourself a new follower!

Monster-Maker Pro: Home Edition by Tad 2024-05-01T03:52:52Z

I love the play of words, we need more games giving awareness to how many unholy things happen within the confines of a court room! The art is great, it is fun, the music is a bit overly happy for the concept of scaring someone in a court, but I think overall it works well. The 3D angle really added visual flare. And summoning poop in court should become an official meme!

Card Dungeon by Akusan 2024-04-29T05:20:40Z

The art is great. I love the ideas for the creatures, the artists managed some great combinations and some awesome ideas for the creatures. Feel a bit in the middlepoint of something cute like pokemon and something serious like ars goethia. A bit SMT like in some absurdist, brutalist art decisions.

The core gameplay is great, I just felt like it needed some more meta-game indications; I feel like my actions didn't have much feedback save from the cute sound effects and some enemies falling. I didn't know if the attacks were effective or not, if the damage of enemies was high(I didn't lose any creatures in my fist try, so my guesses regarding the creatures might have been decent enough), and when I tried to play again I apparently won instantly(Well some chaos is expected when you open Pandora's box anyway!)

Great job, very in theme!

The Evil Eye by Timur_Bahadir 2024-04-18T03:15:43Z

Ahhh the age old boss battle. Plain and simple a big final boss in an FPS game. Intuitive gameplay for using a strong well known foundation like that, instant familiarity. The progressive difficulty is pretty interesting, it spikes by the end and I love how you have to juggle just so many things at once. Also Godot for the win, love games showcasing Godot is a mature little cookie.

For suggestions, maybe building on cues from FPS games, a vignete or some sort of damage indication. It was frustrating not to know wheter I was crushing or being crushed! Also I found the laser to be a bit of an overwhelming weapon, the shotgun was just useful for the crystals. Maybe adding more situations that empower these two options.

And a pet peevee, I like HP bars that are just in one side, it is easier to see than guessing based on the center part for me. But it wasn't a deal breaker in any way.

My Little Demons by Kaish 2024-04-18T04:30:01Z

That was absolutely adorable! I honestly love just how tight and put together the whole game experience feels. The music is great, the art is cute, the game just makes sense, and the ending is adorable in it's own right! Even the sfx for summoning hits just right! Honestly thrilled by your entry, very enjoyable and fun.

Heart of the Cards by Profugo Barbatus 2024-04-29T05:33:46Z

That was...not the gameplay I was expecting with that name and the art, honestly!

The game feel of the game is interesting, I love the flow of the controls. The art is evocative, I grew up playing YGO so for me it felt like my chance to interact in non-expected ways. 2D in 3D worls is just a fun, Wolfenstein way to tackle 3D in jams, I honestly liked the aesthetics there.

It feels a bit slow, but I feel like it was structured as a vertical slice of a bigger game, and I feel it works well in that sense.

Honestly fun, more than a meme game, it was a fun game and I enjoyed it. Thanks for a bit of a nostalgia trip!

The Floppy Disk of Forbidden Creatures by Cole Cecil 2024-04-18T04:35:41Z

Definitely would never think of using GenAI like this. Innovation at it's finest! Kind of makes me feel like I am playing a really smart version of one of those classic adventures from yore!

I spent like 15 minutes just giving random answers, I particularly loved how it reacted when I replied with the first verse of "Never gonna give you up"!

Everything has a meaning by nyanpierre 2024-04-18T04:12:27Z

Hah! I managed to get all endings finally! Very cleaver point to hide the solution to 2, really matches the whole concept of the game!

And I liked it a lot, the audio was spot on, the escape room theme was very well executed, and the endings are interesting. Shame for me the ending I got was the best, and then it went downhill from then on! Also, the narration was a fine touch!

Only complain is it took me the whole first 10 minutes to even understand how to proceed, maybe some arrows as an indication for the Cross section of the summon area. Also all the time I spent trying to click that plant or the table under it expecting something to change! Great entry!

LD55 - Ritual of Cards by Reulan 2024-04-29T03:59:00Z

I love card games. My own entry was a card game as well this time around!

It took me a while to understand how to play, honestly. A couple of passes until I could go into looking for combos and finishing up with more interesting summonings. The idea of it ending like a card combo is indeed capturing one of the nicest parts of any good trading card game, which makes it interesting from the get go! I feel that some UI elements being more reactive, and illustrating better costs and mutations of a card during highlight it(Even if just the instantaneous ones) would have made it easier to be eased into the game. Sound effects also would have gone a long way.

Also the UI layout itself was clear, I love the readability on the cards, I didn't feel the need to bend down to read them better or the like, which made it flow nicely. Visuals are important sure, but having a strong game with clean UI at this stage beats the need for flashy art or any of the sort, and that was a clear worry here.

It has strong ideas and I would like to see it further developed in the future, with the multidecks aspect being a worked on as a differential and the summoning combos this could be the start of a new, interesting full fledged card game system if you ask me!

Summoner Tycoon by FlyingKaida 2024-04-18T17:43:55Z

This is by itself a technical marvel, managing multiplayer in a jam! Unfortunately I couldn't play online (No friends to play with, woe is me T_T) but the basic mechanics are interesting, it feels like a fun cozy game, which in itself is pretty cool. While I find combat options could be implemented like you mentioned, the strengths here are interaction and hijinks that can arise from it, building options, mechanics that incentivize collaboration, costumization and self-expression, that should be the focus on the plan to take this forward!

Also minor thing, I felt stuttering with the camera at times in the Itch.io version which I hadn't with other games, even Godot ones. Could be something just on my end but saying this just in case!

Démon Puzzle Attack by Roroto Sic 2024-04-29T05:12:59Z

Loved this game. I felt absolutely nostalgic during the gameplay, it had been the longest since I have played a match 3. It feels snappy, responsive, I really enjoyed the way the sprites were designed with cuteness in mind, feeling like a gameboy game. It was extremely well done.

Things to discuss, I had a weird glitch in the middle of a run in which the tiles of the center of the grid became immovable, without any other indication otherwise. When I managed to move tiles around those and create matches, it eventually fixed itself. But no idea why it happened. Also, one thing that didn't match the usual experience for me for match 3s was both the fact that of the falling blocks, if they formed a match on themselves they would suddenly vanish, seeming a bit like a bug since there was no effect implemented for the breaking of tiles. Maybe just work the numbers before a spawn to make sure no matches happen in the falling row. Also an interesting quirk, tile matches resolved in the midst of a fall, not when a tile hits is effectively grounded. Not that it is an issue, just a quirk for me.

Again, overall, I love match 3 games and this is a solid engine that managed to hit me in the nostalgic feels of the GBC era. Great job seriously, I am happy to have found this gem!

🐑 S.H.E.E.P - Sheep Hell Emissaries, Eradicate Purity 🐑 by Shenoit 2024-04-29T03:05:35Z

It felt like all those youtube ads with this gameplay were but you guys showing off your prototype! Instant advertisement right?

And it works. The gameplay is fun and engaging. The web version was awfully choppy from the get go on my machine, but the exe worked just fine. The 3 summons were simple enough to understand, though I personally feel the balance of the summons wasn't up to speed, I felt like the Kraken was more bells and whistles than actual effectivity, and the timing gap for the Sheep Norris was kind of an issue to tackle, so in the end the Kamikaze Bomber Sheep ended up being a solid option throughout.

The art is pretty effective, I love how cute it feels, it just feels like a nice nod to cult of the lamb. Cult of the wolf! The music vibes perfectly, the art works perfectly, and if there was one thing to talk about maybe it is how you start with the amount of sheep you had when you died last, not sure if it was intentional but definitely made it so I could game the rules until I managed to have tens of thousand of sheep within my dominion.

But a very solid entry, all around great game!

Burn with me by Nozomu57 2024-04-18T02:41:48Z

The gameplay is rather addictive, I am surprised at how balanced it felt. Almost like the prototype for a battle mode of something comercial. The devil imagery is fun and clear and very readable, the gameplay flows in a very responsive way, honestly it is a very smart idea and feels just so well executed, getting to the end was rather challenging and took a couple of retries, and it made me want to go through them! One of the coolest I have seen so far, very much the kind of exciting innovative gameplay that always makes me giddy to play entries in every LD!

Summon Shapes by MMMIU 2024-04-29T03:28:27Z

You guys say you need a designer, but I actually see solid design elements there. It feels a bit rough with dificulty with spikes? Yes, but I feel you guys did a good design effort there.

It definitely fits the theme, and the music and audio fits the whole idea for the event. The effects are nice and have that bit of game feel, like summoning extra shields and the current ones moving to keep things equidistant. I like how it feels like you guys put a good deal of effort into the feel.

And maybe if I could offer a bit of my own design view, I feel the issue wasn't that you can cheese things by summoning all you can before the circle. If it were me, I would make it so the circle moves and chasing it is part of the gameplay, making my own moving more important and useful as a skill. Maybe even the pressing isn't needed, moving yourself to stay within the circle that moves erratically and teleports around while defending yourself becomes the new chaotic element instead of the pressing of space. What is the point of a nice movement funcion that feels flowy if the game cues me to stay in one place? Also the more you get the circle to move the more you can summon, so you wouldn't have access to the full shields and triangle drones fighting for you until you got "stronger" by syphoning the power of the summon or something in world.

For me game design ultimately boils down to identifying your strengths and the likes of the audience, and leveraging things that work in your gameplay and making sure it works for your audience. The feel part of it, you guys pretty much have that covered, it almost feels like a polished product already in the hypercasual genre, and I feel you guys working together like this will realize you guys are growing together in the game design aspect faster than you might think. Great job!

Demonic Fridge and Vegetables From Hell by 7uc4s 2024-05-01T03:55:47Z

I like the concept, it is fun, trippy shooter, using a fridge for summoning is a very unique concept, summoning a midnight snack! I honestly found it interesting, fitting graphics. Some SFX and polish would make things a bit more comfortable when things go awry.

Syzygy by dotblank 2024-04-29T05:29:49Z

It looks pretty, like a visualization software, and trust me I love those it is a compliment. I like the gradients and the way shapes form, and when I got a grasp of the mechanics, and got myself a doom moon(speak it 5 times in a row, fast, no pauses!).

I get the burn out completely, going solo is hard, and creating an idea over the concept of sygyzy is hard too, and yet here you are. It was a short but enjoyable idea, shame for the burn out because this could have gone into many interesting potential ways with a bit more time applied to it, felt like a fun minigame I would see in a complex game with different alignments of celestial bodies and the like. Thank you for your entry!

Eye of the Summoner by Bumblebee Studios 2024-04-18T04:44:43Z

Ohh the feeling is rather tense. I love how the feeling of just moving your beacon around and suddenly spotting something feels, that is a great mood. It was extremely challenging, at one point it felt weird how I was unable to summon more units without any indication, not sure if it was a bug or some feature.

Maybe in a game design stand point, I love the 3 units aspect, but selecting a unit is clunky with the right button. Maybe using the wheel or the keyboard for it, maybe also leave in the screen some indication of the currently selected unit to help the shift.

The music and SFX makes the mood here great by the way!

Manku the Magician by PorChor 2024-04-18T02:30:35Z

It is a very cute game, I love the very well made assets and the overall mood of it! Thinking about a magician summoning bunnies from a hat in a live stream is probably one of the most unique ideas I have seen during the whole LD! And across the board, the art direction, UI, music, everything feels so good that it barely feels like something done in 3 days. Can't wait to play more things from your team, be at a Ludum or any future titles!

Book of the Ghosts by laszlotimar 2024-04-29T05:24:23Z

I love how the shaders were made, I like the artistic choices that feel extremely intentional, which is hard to do in 3D and in this short time frame.

Ghosts was surprisingly not that common in a summoning jam, it baffles me. The atmosphere is interesting, the movement is smooth and interesting and the camera is trustworthy. I also found that same bug discussed in the comments, but managed to beat it regardless.

Also the sounds and music just make the mood work, it is hard to see an entry where I see myself saying that a mood was achived, but this is exactly what you guys nailed here. It should have a warning to be played with headphones, it is worth it!

Aurora's Ascendance: Orbs of Destiny by Unbreakable 2024-05-01T03:30:51Z

The idea is pretty great, I love the idea of mixing magic and how 3 colors can be used effectively. It is a very elegant mechanic. The isometric view is one you don't see enough even among indies these days! Glad you could manage to make what felt like a vertical slice of a more developed product.

Also the art for the banner is great, honestly something I would see in a finished product.

I feel that due to every attack in the game having a set up time, both in selecting colors, and from the moment the spell is, let's say, summoned, that makes the gameplay a bit slower than I would have expected.

Also another complain would be regarding the fact WASD and the numbers require the same hand, I get the idea of keeping them close due to the fact one hand will invariably be in the mouse at all times. It is an issue that FPS games also struggle with, but I would argue moving while picking colors is more important here than moving and changing weapons at the same time in an FPS game, or selecting skills in a MOBA. If enemies didn't also give a comfortable time for dodging, it would have been an issue. Even if they didn't, maybe right mouse button as a dodge or shield would have helped the design anyway.

Honestly if you have the desire of developing this further, I would personally suggest maybe taking inspiration on MOBAs and Diablo-likes, instead of the set up time for spells I would make them faster, allow right mouse button for dodge, mouse position for aim, either keep aims like right now or fixate the area for spells in front of the character and mouse defining a position, or even a mix of both in different skills. I would also suggest maybe ZXC for spells instead of 123, or at least redundant with 123, because it doesn't require moving one's wrist while taking fingers off the WASD keys, which speeds up and lowers strain on hand for keys, since that is your basic attack through and through. Maybe the colored system isn't used on all attacks, but in key attacks and skills or barrier breaks.

Anyway just rambling at this point, whenever an entry inspired me to think things like that it just means it was pretty inspiring! Great job!

Dark Summoner's Forge by legendarypie 2024-04-29T04:48:27Z

The idea is simple, yet why can't I stop playing? I had to reach the final stretch and get everything until I felt I could give a review.

The worker slimes are cute. The fact you give information about every item in the game is a nice touch for usability; Frankly my only suggestion in that sense in this level would be that I would like something like middle mouse button press panning of the camera.

A strong entry, it is very effective, in theme, the sprites are cute, and the ways things start to move in more advanced stages are, on a lack of a better term, particle-system-level-of-pretty. That is a single word by the way!

LD57 — Depths

Captain Nostalgia by LandoSystems 2025-04-09T12:44:01Z

Hey guys thank you for making me feel old again! I seriously liked how you forwent punishing the gamer for getting hit and were just that much more gentle than the very games you reference. Also interesting aspect that you can complete the game with any character, even if just the main character is enough. Oh and that you used cues from the design of those games, like having more than one path for beating the stage, and how enemies and the scenario were laid out.

Oh and that easter egg with the suggestive mountain design, yeah I got it! And the song for the last battle, oh my gosh.

Funny how for an older guy he packs quite the punch. Probably it is the memories of dying in those games hundreds of times huh?

depth mapped by daniel 2025-04-11T06:32:50Z

Love it! No joke, a depth texture based game is an AMAZING take on the theme! I love that. Definitely innovative, no doubt. Can't wait for the next theme to be around normals, love those pesky colorful textures as well!

The graphics are great, animations don't feel stiff which sometimes happens in 3D games, they have that bounciness about them. Love also how there are quite a few different mechanics here to learn. Definitely a highlight for me.

Depth of Field by Gao Ming 2025-04-16T20:16:43Z

Frankly one of the best executed games in Ludum so far for me. It is extremely polished and intentional, it actually feels like the vertical slice of a finished game, like a demo I got somewhere. The idea of using DoF as a game mechanic was great, the reactions and little plot worked very well, and it was adorable to have the world react while the camera was in the right depth, and the noise and visual cues were on point. Definitely feels like a homerun if you ask me, this is creativity fully applied for a vision!

School of Hard Knocks by ehgoodenough 2025-04-12T05:52:36Z

This is really cute, love the nice ideas for development using actions for exp instead of the usual. Unfortunately I couldn't finish after 3 attempts, all involving bugs that broke the flow.

🐾 Deep Meowgotiations by Silas Reinagel 2025-04-10T00:54:10Z

I wholeheartedly agree here. The game feels polished, the fact you went with cats was a stroke of genius that made it just exude charisma. Card games are wildly underrated, this is fun and engaging and quite frankly even if I am a dog person, just plain adorable!

Nine Lives Deep by Simon Rahnasto 2025-04-16T20:20:20Z

The interactions felt great, the physics for the anchor felt really satisfying, the sprite work is on point, and just feels really polished. Everything from the underwater to the boat to every interaction from the cat just feels adorable and on point. Even the enemies are so cute I felt a bit bad hitting them!

Depth Connections: Mail from the Deep Realms by darefus 2025-04-12T02:27:41Z

The idea is interesting, the art is cool and it feels like when you're like a pre-teen and you just want to test waters and see what you can do, like sending messages to people and testing reactions. Shame it does feel a bit truncated, would love to see endings here with consequences. But cool game.

Low Maintenance by Juutis 2025-04-12T06:20:12Z

Love this! Boomer shooter for a jam, and in this level of polish! This is really hard to beat, guys, this is an impressive gem right here! Seriously see all the cool references here mechanically, you guys know your stuff and it is something amazing to see this implemented for a Ludum!

A Memory of Her by ConradoClark 2025-04-09T12:02:53Z

The sound effects and the cues are all delightful, it has that feel that just screams finished and intentional. I love the pick for the strong Cathode Tube Television effect, it made it further evocative and have a nostalgic vibe as the memories were being found, definitely a very fun game, I quite enjoyed it.

Holy Moly! by Thomas_Bringer 2025-04-09T13:57:33Z

Sweet game. The mole gave me a bit of Knuckles vibe, so I clicked and am glad I did.

Charming to play as a ninja mole! It was satisfying to dig and I actually feel those poor farmers were pretty much defenseless. Some cues would be nice, maybe a close range attack for the farmers as well or a second kind of hazard. I like how you took into consideration emerging under objects and how the mole keeps underground in those instances, definitely a massive plus how those details were tackled.

Hooked by mira 2025-04-09T12:19:20Z

Short but sweet, feel like the idea of showing the buttons for pumping water on screen was a great touch since I was totally forgetting that. Came for fishing, stayed to proposing to a boat-owning cat girl with a ring salvaged from the depths of the sea after dodging sharks. Love in the depths!

Oh and for me the highlight was the physics of the tube for the suit. Very well implemented and satisfying.

Bungee Spelunker by EvilScotsman 2025-04-09T14:06:06Z

Hey love the PS1 game feel here, would almost have bought it if you told me this was a lost title I never played in the past. The music is fun, the theme is great, and the camera transition and motions all feel extremely satisfying. Definitely a concept for a fun cozy game I would see myself playing, the idea is golden and one of the most creative ways to use the theme and keep a lovely upbeat and sweet vibe going! One of my favs so far.

Into the Abyss by Art_Alchemist 2025-04-10T01:03:26Z

Why is this not being talked more? Diagetic measurement of air along with the sound that showcases the oxygen, full 3D game with cool graphics underwater made for a jam? I found it a bit hard to actually trigger the rope in my return and I feel the store could start out a bit lower on values because it takes a bit of a grind to start growing, but I honestly like what I see here the game is interesting and has plenty of great ideas.

Hellevator by MrManGuy 2025-04-09T12:24:39Z

Cool idea to add some depth with choices. I wouldn't personally have used a dropdown for the choices, but definitely the idea of making choices here works well. A very cute entry!

Miku Miku Dungeon! Penguin Ice Rescue by Miku 2025-04-09T11:52:56Z

So I guess Miku is still the world's number one princess huh? Now penguin as well!

Creative idea, I love the touches that made the experience feel like a GBA game somehow. The singing mechanic was simple but effective, and the music worked perfectly.

And I agree with one of the penguins there, I also wonder what are those darn tar reefs!

Weakness Deep Within by Delphin Casado 2025-04-12T05:02:59Z

Hey the art is sweet, really sweet. The mechanics are engaging as well, I love how it subverts the age old idea of just rushing and attacking enemies, instead focusing on more personalized mechanics and weakpoints. It was thrilling, and the art actually felt like a finished game, this didn't have the vibe of a prototype at all!

[After observing me, you realized my weakpoint was wanting more of this game, maybe a long form version after jam or it being released in any form sometime in the future.]

escape-the-dungeon-what-did-he-do-to-deserve-this by BarnabeWild 2025-04-12T02:47:10Z

I think I might never learn what he did to deserve this in the end!

I like the Isometric attempt, I think aesthetically you nailed it, I just feel like the camera is stiff, and the commands remind me of the early attempts at motion. For this maybe a more usual camera would have worked better, or at least positioning challenges considering the camera angles. Had some issues with getting stuck in walls, and also with spawn points, but I see what you're doing here and the experiment with 2D in 3D worked, even if more 2D animation would have sold the idea better. But definitely you did a great job pushing the bondaries of what you could do in such a short time and challenging yourself, great work!

That Underground Level by andrewkennedy 2025-04-16T20:49:40Z

Surprising when you say you ran out of time at the end screen, didn't feel like that at all. The animations are polished, the dificulty is spot on, the references are aplenty, and frankly the music is outstanding, the cues from the references that were placed there are well timed and just for me were the highlight of the whole experience. I would seriously love to see the game growing, because I would love spending more time remembering That one underground level...

HIM(1).Locked by fosf0 2025-04-09T13:42:10Z

I managed to also finish it. I second what was written here, the specifics of identifying the animal was an issue, and things in regards to spaces. If the detection of strings for the passwords was as agonistic to spaces as it is about caps, maybe it would make things flow much nicer.

Honestly I second the ending comment, it was an interesting way to end it all, but maybe a cue in audio or something giving more hint, or a facial expression! Ugh, so unfair!

Seriously loved the things you guys did, it was fun and engaging and very well written, it was definitely an enjoyable all the way, I spent more time than I would like to admit engaged in this puzzle. Just further proof that checking your girlfriend's PC is not alright!

Nike's House by Fireye 2025-04-12T02:23:50Z

The art style is great, and I feel like everyone makes games about the way we connect romantically with people, but true friends, these are for some reason not something we see around often. Definitely would love to see the advanced version of this with voice acting and structure. Oh and I tried all the paths, definitely like how the music works here, shame I couldn't see the longform consequences for my acts!

Morally GrayStone Corp by T90. 2025-04-09T11:42:43Z

Ughh... This game hits too close to home with the whole scenario of the stock market today! Too soon! The whole vibe about rogue AIs and the stock market crashes, just feels way too close to heart here.

So cute anime ladies, trading terms and funny jokes, and overall great vibe with interesting writing? Love it. Seriiously a fun time.

Falling - a rhythm platformer, track #0: your sorrow is a fiery deluge by Xlores Liang 2025-04-12T06:33:38Z

Shame this wasn't finished. The song was downright amazing, wouldn't have suspected it would be finished in just 10 hours. The whole mood of the game felt perfect for the genre. The only aspect lacking here for me unfortunately is the gameplay. I get the idea, a battle formed with the pink slime surviving, just far too many times it got stuck through the floor, regardless of the ways I moved the scenario, and this happened at one point in all my tries. Would have instead of moving the screen, focus on moving the sphere, in a bit of an Undertale-esque action with dodging and flinging as I hear the awesome track, but this is me.

The music alone rocks though, always glad to see Ludums birthing interesting art in all areas!

The Abyssal Trenches by redemptor 2025-04-09T12:14:37Z

I feel sound here would have helped the game's mood quite a bit. The limited view in the depths is a nice touch, I feel the angler fish is a criminally underrated denizen of the sea! The fact the light area changed in certain situatins was a nice touch. Maybe for a future entry work the feel of the swiming, the movement felt very linear, maybe add some ebb and flow to it would make the feeling of transversing water come trough more easily!

Depths Help by LeoAtopos 2025-04-10T01:10:09Z

Wow. Mind blowing. Talk about innovation. Sorting layers in photoshop, the thing I always dread doing, playing with layers and them becoming different images with deeper meanings and interesting things? I could see a whole cozy game comming out of this layers concept. Extremely simple to implement engine-wise, works perfectly for the theme, and has this amazing potential if well refined. Seriously this is an awesome idea, probably one of the most innovative games I have seen here so far.

Deep Sleep by TheSecondLeft 2025-04-12T06:17:50Z

So I faced dancing items, a monologuing spanish shark and an anime magazine, and then my noble quest to look at every hole I got stuck behind the counter and got forced to work for my whole mundane earthly life. 10/10, this is peak content, definitely takes a special mind to produce this sort of game! Definitely love the chaos!

I mean, are you sure that the owner of the shop just got drunk? This sure seems like it goes...deeper!

Anglerfisch by Arluci 2025-04-09T11:17:34Z

You guys clearly deserve that 5 for graphics here, no questions asked! Working on unreal to do anything in 72 hours is nothing if not herculean, and the controls here feel snappy and responsive. And in 6 people delivering this level of graphics is seriously outstanding, you guys are something else entirely. Not often I download over a gb for a ludum game! This entry is extremely fishy, in all the best ways!

Heart by FunnyPumpkin 2025-04-12T02:35:51Z

The art direction here is a highlight. I like the whole effect for the layers, it became a bit hard to see things in subsequent layers, but the transition was highly satisfying. Maybe a lower level of transparency for the front or like just silhouettes or the like? I unfortunately felt as lost as the little girl did, I felt like transversing the deepest patch of forest was ironically safer than walking the front ones where there was light. Some more indication of where to go or what to do, and a bit better visibility, and this would work super well, the layers thing is truly mind blowing!

Deep Chat by iphelf 2025-04-12T03:15:02Z

I have to say, this game wasn't made for me, I always felt super weird sending those huge composite ascii art emojis!

But I have to say, no joke, this is one of the most creative ideas I have ever seen in a game. Working depth as forming connections is witty, going with AIs is an intriguing concept and very modern, and definitely this is a gameplay I don't remember ever seeing before. I honestly suggest taking this idea forward, definitely is an intriguing concept, one which I very much enjoyed.

Chronicles of Victor by NAKS 2025-04-11T05:55:51Z

Darn, if Victor manages this level of destruction without his glasses, just imagine if he ever found them!

I love the art style, the enemies do highlight cons and pros of each of the powers, and it does take to be constantly moving around to defeat enemies. I think the premise rocks of the "Bullet Heaven" game here. Oh and it would be helpful if the track did loop after it ends. It is cool and matches the vibe, but after the track ends it feels less epic and more silent with all that slaying going!

There Is A Light by n1evsky 2025-04-16T20:24:11Z

The effect is beautiful. As the lights blend it feels so organic I feel like I am doing something in an eye doctor consultation or the like, it feels realistic and organic. Definitely an amazing effect.

MineDigger by dot_Ex 2025-04-11T05:40:48Z

Minesweeper was a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine growing up, so this hit the right spots. The upgrade shop surely is interesting, I loved how fun and engaging it felt, and I feel the graphics added a lot of flair and style. Caught myself playing this for a while, definitely the mix worked very well.

Cave Escape by Flinge 2025-04-11T06:21:01Z

The game is fun! The pixel aesthetic is swell, I actually think that was this game released in the coin-op arcades era you guys would have made a fortune! Simple and addictive. The pixel aesthetic works super duper well and it sells exactly the action it should.

Also it gets trippy as soon as the music starts to shift. Last long enough and get ready for the surprise!

https://ibb.co/tMd38QSS -453138 with proof image. Fun game!

definitely not a meth game by 042a 2025-04-12T02:53:27Z

I feel dizzy! Cool effect for the, ahem, use, of the product. I personally find it hard to see the theme here, like depth as in the fact you're knee deep in drugs, or that you find meth that is under a layer of earth? Glad you're growing more comfortable with Godot, the more you get to use it the less you will feel need to rely on Chat-GPT, things will just feel right trust me!

Also both times I found the, hmm, product first try, I didn't finish the game, instead I got stuck in tghe level.

Deep in the Internet by UM_shutup 2025-04-11T06:49:23Z

I feel I shouldn't be the one making a comment here, since it is about a situation online I have never ever been even remotely close to and thus can't relate. *wink wink*

Jokes aside, cool idea, the rabbit hole of the internet fits the theme to a T! It did take a bit to get the whole mouse always is clicking part, once I did it went very well. And yeah, the whole jumpscare bit didn't work well for me since I was playing in a public place hahahah.

Project helix by voli 2025-04-11T06:59:00Z

The concept is interesting, the depth being part of the mechanic of the syringes and the DNA. Unfortunately I had trouble getting it to work online, I downloaded it and couldn't unfortunately see anything even after the end of the first battle, so I would see this as a proof of concept.

Personally, the whole "Skin Depth Gauge" area is interesting, but moving the syringe in any way that isn't up and down doesn't make sense, unless say you planned on having things like mixing serums or the order and position of them making a difference. And since the game mostly plays itself, having different activation effects based on syringes to add depth to the gameplay. Also a visual feedback for the effect of the syringe would be swell. Still, cute pink haired anime girl fighting beasts with super science, I can get behind that concept!

She's downstairs by alcotrip 2025-04-09T14:16:22Z

The mood is amazingly well set. I love how simple it is, though I wished there was more mechanical depth. Feel like there should be some change to having my eye deplete it's HP to say my heart or brain. It is very dependant on finding items early on or having good luck in not finding too many monsters at once, but I felt that for what is essentially a survival turn based RPG game I lacked strategic options, didn't at first glance notice any difference in picking different enemies to attack or the like.

Still the mood alone here is something else, really feels masterful terror here in execution. Great entry.

Cave of Echos by Katzengebaeck 2025-04-12T04:56:20Z

This is a good core mechanic looking for the right place to be applied. Very fun idea here, definitely digging the microphone action here. I think it would work very well as a VR game honestly, maybe have target modulations and volumes to reach, different scores or stages here. Very cool implementation!

Oh No!! Astral Warp by plidomo 2025-04-09T11:12:23Z

I love gems like these. This is one of the most interesting games I have seen in a while. Love the idea for the mechanic here, easy to pick up and get and very forgiving, and yet fun and engaging. Easily one of the games that made the best spin on the concept of depth here, and love the touch of carrying the planet keeping your gravity constant. The sound design is great also, it does feel like a space adventure.

♂Deep♂Dark♂Fantasies♂ by mr_mesmer 2025-04-16T20:34:21Z

Well this is certainly an experience if I have seen one... It is unique. I took a while until it dawned on me why the keys I had to press were QWER!

Seriously though, cool you guys implemented a rythm game in a jam, and it was an interesting take on the theme, definitely innovative. Definitely deep in the Meme scale!

Into The Depths by Natalia2208 2025-04-11T06:26:05Z

Hello Naty, if this is your first time, you're off to a great start! The idea of going ecological here was great, the graphics and music work perfectly! Just a minor suggestion, for your other attempts if you can, try to release the game in a browser player instead of a download, just makes it simpler to play your creation!

Hope to see you around in future Ludums then!

HellDigger – A Cozy Idle Game by sangheli 2025-04-12T05:49:25Z

It is one of the few games here where I truly felt the lack of sound here. It feels like playing a game that feels complete, in mute.

It is clear you used AI art throughout(not throwing shade or anything), it feels cohesive. It does show you did have a clear direction in mind while you picked your assets, and it is clear they follow a specific design. The gameplay here is engaging, and this comes from someone that usually grows bored of most idle games, I did play all the end here and don't regret mining the core of earth itself for my demonic overlords!

Where it Ends by cherrybcake 2025-04-10T00:51:50Z

Ah Pico-8, you elusive marvelous pseudo-console. I love every time I find a Pico-8 entry.

And honestly, the game is great. The movements are snappy and precise, it is fun, engaging, just the right level of challenge here. The mechanics are interesting, and the messages are appreciated. I am sure there is someone that is going to play this game that needed to hear just those words, and you will help them more than you may think. Games are about expression and it is clear just how much of yourself you poured over this one. Really dig it!

Depth of Moments by Lev Ramburg 2025-04-09T11:34:09Z

Okay, this game is seriously the first time I caught myself thinking something is just too good for a jam. This art style, the animations, the feels, why aren't you guys taking my money yet with the next great game or animation is my greatest mystery. Even the small details just feel absolutely gorgeous, this is 100% chef's kiss, no doubt.

I had the same backpack bug as described earlier, and when I played again I did pretty much the same actions and yet didn't suffer the same fate and played through the end. A small detail in an otherwise epic artistic journey. They need to update Ludum for 6 stars for graphics for entries like this.

LD58 — Collector

Mod agent by Ty Victorson 2025-10-21T05:09:15Z

Definitely a fun experience, one of the funniest in this Ludum for me, loved the concept big time, this modding game gamed modding and I am all for it! :D

Friendly by xpoho 2025-10-21T05:12:49Z

Took me 3 times to get to the good ending. I felt I was destined to be forever alone! Awesome spin to the theme, definitely an unexpected take. Sound design is cool, graphics convey just what you need, definitely cool flow.

Also lol at that weird sound effect that scared me!

Goblin Goopmaxxing by NuiN 2025-10-21T04:31:21Z

Quite a delightful game! A couple of bugs that were already listed in the comments above, sure, but very fun combinations of potions, it made my newfound sadistic side towards goblins flourish so I thank you for that! And good luck at the upcoming steam launch, definitely grabbing it on release.

Space Cleaner by Cahard 2025-10-21T04:36:00Z

I like the game a lot. It felt a bit floaty at first, but I got used to the commands, it made me reflect on my physics classes, that I took so many years back I am embarassed to think how long it was! The graphics were quintessentially simple and effective, clean and very good to read. The UI flew great, the incremental gameplay was fun, even if I felt after a while there was more options for incrementing in more different ways. Definitely a great fun first game, can't wait to play any future entries from you!

LD59 — Signal

Ghost Pulse by thelasttankmage 2026-04-26T03:11:17Z

I shouldn't have played it past midnight alone should I?

Good visual design, good experience, the pulse does work and I like how it kind of paced well with a radar sort of timing, it was very intuitive. Definitely the jumpscare experience I wasn't expecting in a game jam!

The Last Frequency by strong99 2026-04-26T04:14:52Z

The art is great, love that 90's anime feel. Took a bit long for me to finally escape, the music matches well the situation, and like the way it plays like the Sierra adventure games.

Would probably have liked some more UI, I know the goal was to make this part of the process to check the PCs often. Also, I started out clicking things, not knowing you had to wait to fully repair them, so a small progress bar would have helped that one bit.

Seriously dig your art style. The protagonist design is honestly beautiful. Great job.

Pyre Lookout by outstar 2026-04-27T04:24:08Z

Amazing writing. And I mean it. If this was the intro stage of a Disco Elysium style game I would just have kept on reading and reading and playing because this text is really outstanding. Definitely loved the entry and the dynamic and kind of lowkey hope you want to create a game in this style because I feel I love your writing style and the vibe imposed here, the humor mixed with the bleak.

DOT//DASH by Avi 2026-04-26T04:43:38Z

Definitely engaging. I took a while to get the moving through the lanes with numbers bit if I am honest. But the idea is great. Great for someone with actual notion of Morse, I had to cheat and get a sheet in a different monitor or I would take too long to get a good enough highscore. Definitely feels like a good chance to grasp the basics of morse, a full adultainment game.

Safe Haven by PowerAnze 2026-04-27T16:41:04Z

Oh man this is by far one of the most unique interpretations of a theme ever. I totaly dig the waifufication of the beacons, the goth one with repelling red light is hitting just my vibe!

Seriously though, great idea to play with repelling and attractive forces here. Simple idea. I wished there was more of a feedback on which of them I had selected. Being two lighthouse waifus to control I would even have done something like move attraction with left mouse button and repel with right mouse button or the like, something that had more of a visual feedback. It was affecting me at the start not being able to control anything for a while.

Also maybe an indication before something spawns, or the like. Still I dig the idea very much, definitely among the most innovative takes on this theme ever. And I have seen things.

Rescue Signal by emrod 2026-04-26T04:16:47Z

Definitely feels like the prototype or demo for a mobile game, and I would see myself spending hours playing it. Dig the style. Definitely the bouyance looked amazing.

Lumiric Chase by Ricna 2026-04-27T03:59:49Z

I had to wait until I could get my brother around so he and I could play together. The very fact you did multiplayer in a gamejam is noteworthy. Definitely like others I see the dead by daylight reference, and I think this game can be a blast if you gather 5 people.

A L P H A by eXTeeGi 2026-04-27T04:19:42Z

Great idea, both for the game and presentation. Definitely helps to use pencil and paper here to finish hahahah. The light moving gives an amazing vibe a generic UI wouldn't be able to, and the explosions and changes in mood tell the story perfectly. Definitely an amazing entry with a fun concept and execution.

Ray of Hope by Sceef 2026-04-28T01:45:45Z

Definitely loved the mood and the aesthetic, with the limited rendering. The ending cutscene alone was impressive, I didn't expect that at all after beating the game. I even did a second speed run mode to make sure I didn't take too long in my first attempt.

I get completely having unity woes, I am the chief about complaining about them, but even then I do feel your idea for the game was pretty cool, and definitely I can see your vision there. Wouldn't have guessed you're specialized in 2D by looking at this, everything flows very well and the movement seems quite well tuned.

Oh and sweet pick for the ending song. Such an underrated series!

Switchboard Sprite by Falk Hoeppner 2026-04-27T16:30:51Z

So fun, I really liked the physics for the ropes, the tangling was so satisfying. Definitely fits the theme perfectly, and I love the humorous spin! Had a bit of an issue with a call that kept on vanishing on a spot, think it was a rare occourance but still happened once in each of my two playthroughs.

Definitely the people working with connecting calls in the past were truly unsung heroes.

Cut Through by ZungryWare 2026-04-26T03:16:25Z

Amazing audio work, the theme in this Ludum did give raise to some great audio connected games. The VA work is great, you guys should consider at least podcasting hahah, I did enjoy the voices. Not a single bad voice in my honest opinion. Transcriptioning sometimes was a bit hard, maybe it should have had a bit more of tolerance for some words, I feel some very close ones weren't accepted. But still great idea and innovative concept, and always support games decrying the issues of totalitarian states.

Vice Signalling by Dogshroom 2026-04-27T04:26:21Z

Honestly one of my favorite games in this Ludum Dare. I love the concept, the execution is great, and the art style is lavish and elegant and I dig the premise so much. We need more games about social cues and the unwriten rules of communication, that is a lost art by this point. Definitely excited the latent conspiracionist within me!

Unsent by Reverdie 2026-04-26T04:19:32Z

I had no issues with the webgl version. Cool design, great art style, definitely a plus for the project. Seriously think the text was a seller here, one of the best uses of text I have seen in a while in a Game Jam. Just feel it wasn't intuitive at times, but I definitely had fun.

System Invader by heat 2026-04-27T04:29:38Z

I dig this so much, I always loved card games in every incarnation, and a turn based RPG card game just thrills me, we need all of those we can get. I just feel like it feels unbalanced, at one point it becomes kind of impossible with the cards we have. Would love to see this expanded into a full fledged game, would love to play more of this!

Echo : Signal drift by MikhailNe 2026-04-26T02:58:47Z

Cool idea, I found the controls hard to master, they were really sensitive. Enjoyed the audio here, and it was enjoyable as soon as I could get past it. Looking forward to fill my SETAM account with these keys!

Message Received? by Ydindamin 2026-04-26T04:33:13Z

The first phase had a bit of a lag whenever there were particles on screen, I found the way to move and plan routes very intuitive with three steps ahead, it felt polished, albeit a bit slow. Second Phase was graphically interesting but I couldn't get past it. I can see the ambition and good ideas, just maybe some form of guidance and onboarding would have helped to elevate the experience.

DAISY by SkySakura2005 2026-04-26T03:53:26Z

Audio would have helped the mood quite a bit. I dig the idea and the gameplay is fun. The pixel art is great.

DEDUCTION by Chaak 2026-04-26T03:51:27Z

The graphics look great, I couldn't make it work either in WebGL or download. The first screen looks fine but I can't interact with anything. A shame since it seems to have amazing potential.

The kind of father I don't ever strive to be one day!

Definitely simple and sweet. Love the polish and the effects, wished there were some more cues like maybe audio, it does feel a bit like luck considering how few chances we get. The father really is way too moody! Great entry.

Tracking by Sound by imeng 2026-04-27T03:55:02Z

The graphics are adorable. The localization concept is great, definitely fun. A game that can almost be played with my eyes fully closed is definitely great for inclusion, even though then you won't be seeing the cute graphics!

Grats for the first jam, hoping to see you on others! The game is quite great, I couldn't suspect it was your first if I am being honest. The art is clean and straightfoward, it took a while to understand exactly what to do, but once I did it was a good experience. Really enjoyed the audio for this entry, and the overlay effects.

Not a theme I would expect here at all, definitely the graphics are amazing and a stand out for sure. Definitely the life in a nightclub isn't for the faint of heart! And all I can say is Dammit Felix, stop replacing me already!

Bounty Hunting in SPACE by Citlaet 2026-04-26T03:08:34Z

This didn't feel like a single game at all, it was a group of interesting micro games, together forming a cohosive package. I liked the idea of building the experience through gameplays, instead of just focusing on a core one.

Wished there was more onboarding, a tutorial would help. I did waste a bit of time getting what to do, but easily one of the best experiences of the jam in the sense that I did feel like a bounty hunter in space, my Cowboy Bebop moment!

Distant Summons by William1204 2026-04-26T02:56:06Z

I was hoping this theme would bring about some interesting narratives and you guys didn't disapoint! Definitely an enjoyable story, the graphics are great and set the mood perfectly. Easily one of my favorite narrative games in a while.

NEON BREACH: Get the Signal Back by JoeGreen 2026-04-27T16:25:15Z

So much work to get to watch cat videos! Society can't work when cat videos take this much effort!

Surprised to hear this is your first game. In game graphics are minimalistic but clear, detection is snappy, the puzzles are interesting and the graphics, and I particuarly like how you were definitely focused in game feel and making things reactive, which is something even some ludum vets struggle with. Definitely an enjoyable entry, I mean it.

And just a comment, as an artist I see what you did for the splash art. I get wanting art to stand out, was clever what you did with the posters in the later version, but it is still clear to the eye, and your game can stand on your own chops without that subterfuge trust me.

Good job!

Windward by oasiss 2026-04-26T03:05:38Z

The particle system was a sweet idea, and I loved the billboard graphics and the art style. I wished the game had some more onboarding like a tutorial or more detailed instructions since I felt lost quite a bit for a good while. Also the physics were wonky at times with my character bouncing around. I liked the ASMR details of the bounces and how it impacted the character, it felt really sweet.

Oh and the music didn't loop, at least in the build I used. The idea was great. And boo shader pre-heating, don't think it would have made that much of a difference in the experience you proposed.

Dig the game!

Remixed Signals by Naviski 2026-04-26T03:56:56Z

Great visuals, I love the perspective and the colors, feels like a page out of a child's coloring book. The gameplay is good, just wished there were more cues for the keys. Like them growing gray on miss or small effects or changing sizes or anything more than a text saying whether I hit well and not. I did find the detection precise enough, though.

Some hints or onboarding would have helped, I felt lost at the start. The style is great and the mood is amazing, and if the goal was to make me even more confused than I usually am it was a hit!
