No clue what's going on, but I enjoyed the visual style and vibe! Slapping things with the wrench felt satisfying as heck :D

Cool take on the theme. Nice doom 1-inspired game, and it looks great! Good job everyone!
Nice variety! Nice that there is quite a bit of story going on, I enjoyed it!
Also super confused about what is going on but I still really enjoyed the gameplay and the art style is soo nicee. Really like and great work!
Loved running through and finding the shotgun, level design is super cool :D
I finished it! Very enjoyable to play once you get used to the controls. The deeper you go, the more fantasy seeps into its foundations. Lots of little level design tricks, great work!
@notredamstra did you manage to get into the elevator from the roof? Press E / Space to open doors and activate the elevator :)
@bradur yes I did! Liked the animation very much (rocking the elevator sideways)
I played through and managed to get all 4 weapons. I liked the doom inspired gameplay! At first, I had to double check the description and press E to open the elevator, and then I occasionally had the camera flip on me when I moved it around smaller areas. Other than that, I like the level design here
Very fun game reminiscent of Duke Nukem 3D and Wolfenstein. I liked the progression of difficulty level. The story fragments were quite confusing, probably would need to replay to understand the lore.
Its very nostalgic and cool!
I cleared the game, love the Doom-like gameplay - it's super fast-paced and satisfying! I'm too ADHD to read all the text, but overall it's a really cool entry!
For 72 hours, this is amazing! Really liked the old Wolfenstein3D vibe there, good job!
i get system shock vibes from this game. Visuals are solid. The gun sound is very weak.
yoo, I didn't look at the team size before playing. Now it makes a lot more sense.
Incredible amount of content you guys got in there. Awesome graphics and mood. Very eery.
Gameplay was very straight forward. Although I didn't understand how to kill the final boss. D:
Recorded some footage of me playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytHeKIrk4fA
My favorite game so far, very good work!
Great game! I won! When I entered the armory at the end I knew something big was about to happen!! I appreciated you adding lore and secrets porgress updates (and great elevator music too) so I knew how much I missed. My view got spun around randomly a few times... maybe it was something I was doing? But other than that, I really enjoyed this submission!
Very nice classic doom-wolfenstein-like game! Great execution! Love how you show the statistics after each level. Player movement feels so polished
It's hard to find things to do better, being such a "retro" game. There's some stuff that can be fixed anyways. - It's very easy to get lost on big maps, specially when you're looking for those tricky secrets. Maybe some visual cues or something recognizable to understand where you are at. Maybe a minimap would be great! - Sounds, it's missing some pitching, specially when using the machinegun
Nice entry guys. Hope you can keep working on it, there's a lot of potential for a full game release. 😉
Love this! Boomer shooter for a jam, and in this level of polish! This is really hard to beat, guys, this is an impressive gem right here! Seriously see all the cool references here mechanically, you guys know your stuff and it is something amazing to see this implemented for a Ludum!
Very solid Wolfenstein-like with plenty of content and a nice "story"!
The graphics were interesting: it's clearly meant to look like Wolfenstein(-era games) but there are some differences, like the jittering shading in the corners of walls and on my own weapon. The textures were simple but charming, as were the sounds.
It was cool to see there were even secrets, and the one time I was told, at the end of the level, that something was hidden at the gross toiler I had crossed earlier, I wasn't even super annoyed at having to backtrack :)
The enemies were for the most part not super challenging: the blue-uniformed ones used hitscan but were easy to hide from around the generously provided corners. The "more difficult" enemies which attacked with orbs of enemy were, by contrast, easy to strafe around. I knew I entered the final level when I was given a boatload of every ammo type and lots of food :)
That was great, played the full game and got most of the secrets! Very solid retro-ish fps. The garage was great until I got lost and being terrified of the open space turned to frustration, but that's was for just a moment.
Nice writing and pacing. Change in visuals from the intro to the gameplay was quite sudden, which hurt the visual cohesion a bit, but that's just a small gripe. Intro was great nonetheless.
Good work, loved it! <3
Very cool game, I only played the first level the footage from @elzach and I'm impressed by the length of the game and the gradual descent from office desks to octopus-like creatures. So great level design, and the visual assets are also nice to set the mood.
A finish game for a gamejam is a thing. It was really cool to play, the music, the mood, all was good. Nice game
Okay it took me way too long to figure out how to defeat the final boss. I tried all kinds of things, like breaking all the eggs and pillars or pushing him back to the elevator. I didn't realize that he was exposing some sort of weak point. This was a half hour well spent. Really cool retro shooter (even with lore, although I skipped most of it). Happy to see another elevator based shooter.
