Love the art and the mechanic of souls directing you to the fated person. In my first play my target is beaten by 2 normal people lmao.
Cool retro game! Reminds me of GB pokemon. Love the music and graphics and how my corn stuck in the trees.
Nice game, love the concept of bear harvesting fish. I didn't understand the mechanic at first (didn't realize I need to move and catch falling fish) so it would be better to add some instructions. Enjoyed the game a lot.
Fun and challenging puzzle game! Take me a few minutes to understand the rules, need foreplanning to trap the emenies. Really cool idea, love this game.
Nice game, love the graphics and concept. I get a bit confused why I joined those who will be "harvested" so fast in the first few tries, maybe some more instructions would be better.
Love the graphics! Nice idea of harvesting enemy corpses for resources. Just realize I played the pre-fix version, it's nice to see there're post-jam fixes!
Love the art style! Somehow pressing B doesn't work on the web version, have to reload the page.
Cute little game! Great game mechanic of using laterns to move forward. Nice entry!
An interesting little game, reminds me of Zombiquarium in PVZ.
Love the sound effects! Movement is smooth and the game mechanic is easy to understand. Really enjoyed the game, reminds me of flash games I've played when I was a kid.
Interesting mechanisms! Get stuck on level 5 at first, thanks for your hints. The game reminds me of robots in "Baba is you" because I need to keep track of those guys' moving trails. * just curious, what's that gray shape under the restart button, is it part of the background?
Nice graphics and mood! There're some â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡ issues that affect the narrating a bit. Thought it's a game about grandma managing a garden at first, but I really enjoyed the interactive novel, love the game!
@uraffululz Thanks for you suggestions! Yeah I realized the text moves too slow just after the submission deadline, the text speed now is set to 10 chars/sec, maybe 20 chars/sec works better. Thank you for playing!
@hypernoodlejon Yeah I planned to make happniess affected by the type of responses and scissors should be used to remove weeds, but I realized I didn't get enough time to draw extra sprites for the weeds so I made scissors to increase happiness, which is confusing.
And the responses have hidden counters to decide the ending. There're 3 different endings.
Love the art and story. I have seen some ideas about organ harvesting games in the unofficial discord, but it's way more interesting than I expected!
The game mechanism reminds me of Surgeon Simulator, which "helped" me a lot with my science homework when I was a kid. Ruined a ton of bodies to get a heart, it's a bit strict that you need to make the organ fully uncovered.
Nice game! Love the graphics (corns look like sponges) and music. The overall pace of the game is good, I still have time to draw different shapes with corn seeds. * Somehow pressing tab on the web version causes the game to freeze, but the windows version works well.
The game mechanisms are pretty straight forward. I like the random dialogues pops up when the character moves, but they're a bit redundant after I played 2 rounds. Some more sound effects and more polished UI would make the game look better!
Nice graphics and mood. Movement can be improved a bit (seems there's no diagonal movement). Looking forward to the full game!
Cool mechanics and graphics! Love the ASCII art and talking SFX. The best jam game I've played so far.
Love the graphics, reminds me of old pokemon games. The game mechanic is pretty straight forward, a bit challenging, I failed 2 times.
Love this one, make me realize I suck at parking both in real life and in game
Pretty good made in 20 hours! I like the visuals and sfx (way better than mine and I spend whole 2 days on my game), hope to see your updates, wanna try the game again!
Love the visuals! The movement is a bit hard, maybe try separate rotation and movement to different keys? Sometimes I want to step forward but I just keep rotating.
Ended up getting 14070 for my first run, and I enjoyed it a lot. Very fun and polished game, love the sfx!
Well polished and fun game to play! Don't play a lot JRPGS but do recognize some of them, love the dialogues. The music and sfx also make me feel I'm on an epic fight with the final boss. Great job!
This is my favorite one for LD54 ever. Love the idea of limited brain and the battle mechanics. I'm a bit curious about how the sentences get rated, will check the source code later. Thank you for making it open source, great job!
Very polished and complete game, It's the best game I've ever seen for LD 54! I spend half an hour on it, will definitely give it a 5/5. Great job and hope you guys can get 1st rank!
Nice little game! Love the art and sfx. For the first level I always lose hp in the beginning, maybe need to fix the start position? Overall great job, I enjoyed the game a lot!
Interesting little game, love the title reference. Haven't seen the controls on the jam page at first and realize I'm just being stupid. I finished the game and it's pretty fun, great job!
Love the art and sfx! I'm also doing a Tetris twist but really struggle to get a nice visual for my game, your game definitely inspires me on making the art simple and clear.
Haven't post the controls yet, probably will be up in 10 minutes
Hi @zealous-coder, thank you for your feedback! It might be that your food supply reaches -500, I didn't have the time to add visuals for that so it's really a bit confusing. I'll add that to the details page on itch.io!
Hi @glove and @seam00se, thank you for your feedbacks! Sorry for the misconception because I don't have time to make the visuals. Destorying blocks takes 200 gold each time, I've added that in the description page.
Love the ragdoll system and the art. The concept is really unique and I enjoyed it. Great job!
Like the idea that your own bullets will hurt you, but I agree with other comments that it would be better if bullets should not exist forever. Overall a nice fps made in 48hrs, I'm trying to switch to unreal from unity so your game provides helpful information for how many designs I can add for a 48hr unreal game!
Pretty fun game! Control is a bit hard in the beginning but the idea of herding the sheep with birds is very unique and interesting. The only problem is I don't actually know how those upgrades work, but that doesn't affect the gameplay much.
Nice little vampire-survivor-like game, I enjoyed it! One small problem is that when I pressing two movement buttons together the correct direction I'm facing isn't correctly showing on the visuals, so that makes it a bit confusing, I think several lines of code could fix that!
Love the art! The game's overall pace is a bit too fast and player character is too small so I can't accurately predict how much I just. Also the score seems to increase even after I died.
Haven't tried pygame but this game looks really cool. Love the idea of collecting resource and escape in limited time, reminds me of DRG (really obsessed with it recently).
Like the visuals, but I don't understand how to restore these bars (maybe I need to interact with the oil barrels but don't know how to do that), also it would be better if there can a visual notification for incoming attacks so I can dodge the bullets in advance.
Love the art! I take some time to understand how the game works, the upgrades are a bit confusing. Like other comments I think a tutorial should help a lot. Overall great job!
Love the concept, feel it would be better if there's some protective mechanics because when I'm hit by the enemy I just instantly take many damages at one time. It's true that unreal games usually get over 150mb, I'm also trying to find a solution for that in next jam.
Like the idea to make moose dive. Sucking the coins is pretty satisfying, I definitely died more than once because I got too greedy. Overall great entry!
I cleared the game, love the Doom-like gameplay - it's super fast-paced and satisfying! I'm too ADHD to read all the text, but overall it's a really cool entry!
Love the art style and the way the character walks (it's really cute). I'd be excited to explore more levels of hell so please lmk if that happens!
Really love the art style, it fits the theme naturally. The puzzles aren't too hard but still take me to think. Overall great work!
