TCG was part of my initial brainstorming session. I like the spin on identifying fake cards. I love the card art and the Hell Terminal is well made with the sorting options. Also the computer "mouse" is hilarious. Just a few couple sticking points for me during my playthrough.
The patience meter began counting down before the card was fully on screen which probably doesn't make a difference balance-wise, but feel-wise it felt unfair.
I wish that there were was one of a number of things implemented to make the game a little less punishing. Either the patience decay pauses when in the Hell Terminal or that the Hell Terminal automatically opens to show the currently offered card or that you could select a card in the Hell Terminal to "pin" to the appraisal screen to reference side-by-side. I found that most of my time (patience meter) was spent just scrolling to find the card in the terminal.
Maybe I was missing something, but I couldn't figure out how to restart after losing aside from refreshing the page.
I also kept losing runs because there weren't enough non-fakes offered to meet the goal. Basically had to keep hoping for a run with a non-fake $600 cost to make up the difference.
Also, and this is just the UI designer in me, but the Hell Terminal cards have a larger font size than the appraisal cards.
Great work, very cute game.

Wow! What a hidden gem! This game has so much potential. As a regular Magic player, I really enjoy this kind of game. I played it on the web, but I couldn’t manage to switch to full screen; it might be nice to include that option to make the text easier to read. Aside from that small detail, congratulations, it’s a fantastic game!
I like the musical accompaniment, the style of the cards and the overall concept.
Unfortunately, I found the game a bit unbalanced as time moves too quickly.
Great art style. Good work.
The cards are beautifully drawn. Those characters have so much personality. The music is excellent too.
The purchase price is shown, but I don't think the player is told how much they could make. So I see the risk, but not the reward. It would also be neat if the game would confirm if I correctly spotted a fake.

Thanks for uploading! It felt satisfying getting more and more used to cards and being able to identify wrong info on the spot. I don't know how much the patience meter come into play with the profit, but it definitely felt like it ticked down way too fast. If it was a card I wanted to buy, it felt like by the time I finished checking it out, they were already well into yellow at least. I also think a nice addition would be a sort of rate of change. We get to see how much we earned in a day, but it doesn't take into account how much we started that day wish, so on a couple days I was wondering if I made any real profit at all. Also, I think it was a bit tough to tell when the card art was the thing that was messed up in a short time, cause over two playthroughs, I don't think I even noticed the art being at all different. Speaking of which, the art was really well done, and I think it did a good job of differentiating each of them so that I could tell at a glance which was which when scrolling through the terminal.

Great concept, but I found the game to be perhaps a bit too tough. Either my runs weren't spawning with enough real cards, or I was flagging them as fake for discrepancies not considered forgeries. I would sometimes flag a card as fake because the size of the font in the Heading or the word alignment with the description box was different, but looking at the tutorial on this page it seems those were not legitimate factors? Something to look into if you decide to touch up the game post jam. I liked the card art but if there were forgeries in art variations outside of the foiling effect, I couldn't tell.

This brought back some memories!.
Very fun game!
I really love all the card's art and the fun upbeat music accompanying you throught your appraiser's journey  It's also cool that you've actually gave cards different effects in the description.
I have encountered slight problem, don't know if it was a bug or not: most of the time cards that are given to you for authentication have a very small sprit, that's really hard to look at. But when you open your hell-terminal and close it again - card sprite is big enough to see clearly.
Nonetheless, great game!

Really enjoy the art and atmosphere!!! it is very cool for different concept of card drawing.
Fun game! The music is really cool, the best thing you could have added would have been a tutorial at the beginning of the game, but otherwise, everything is perfect!!! Good luck, great job!
The graphics are awesome, but I lost 😅 Still, a fun game!

A very innovative and fun game, the game cards are very nice, well done! However, it seems that you can't make mistakes ; ;

Really cool concept unfortunately I felt the patience meter go down extremely fast and it made me anxious. I think it would be better if it gradually started going faster as you advanced in the game.
