Unfortunately I can't make this call but this is a really cool concept! I hope I could give it a try :c

Awesome game! Probably the one game I have played the most out of this Lodum Dare, the puzzles got very hard as the game progressed and the fact you added a space shooter in the mix made it 10x harder and way more fun!
Sadly I only made it to level 14, I think I will give it another shot in a second, maybe I will get it to 15 this time :P
How many levels did you make? It came out great man, really good job!
There was something really relaxing about this entry, I think it might have been the lack of colors on the art style, I really liked your submission, good job! :)
It went forever and ever and ever and ever! I guess you took the "Stuck in a Loop" theme quite literally ahahaha. I did enjoy this entry, however I found the enemies to be really tanky, they could take so many hits to destroy! Other than that, solid submission!
The game crashed on me twice while trying to play it, after a while I got it to work and it took me a second to understand how it works but once I did, it was quite fun! Overall very solid submission.
@felixmcfelix I have Windows 10. It run fine after the 3rd attempt though so maybe it's my messed up PC xD
I tried so hard to beat this but in the end, this was just an endless loop xd the main character was kinda cute tho :p
I could not play it, can you update your links? They are broken.
Ah, I am a hero, I managed to save the conductor, cowboy and myself! I love them cute little 2d graphics, I just couldn't see the "Stuck in a loop" theme anywhere?
I loved the 3d graphics! There are not that many 3d game on this jam so bonus points for ya!
Cute little space shooter, I had a bit of trouble seeing the enemies at first as well as getting used to the controls but overall I had fun with it :D
Very cool and interesting game, I made it to level 4 then it got a bit too complicated lmao. The fact you can change the movement speed of the robot allows me to see results faster which in return keeps me more engaged in the gameplay. Good entry I had quite a bit of fun.
A very solid idea I enjoyed this very much. The only thing I disliked was the fact the 2nd level was incredibly hard in comparison to the first level, nevertheless a very solid submission and very creative as well, fits the theme pretty well in my opinion!
Wow that is quite impressive, the level editor came out great too! You achieved so much in so little time!
Great ratings all around! I specially loved the 3d graphics and puzzles were a bit too easy but that just my own opinion, I know you probably did not want to make it incredibly hard, forcing players to quit but rather fun and easy so people play til the end. Great submission!
I noticed you could just hold the attack key and you would never be killed by other samurais, also sometimes you would lose your speed when killing a samurai even though when you attack, it gives you a boost forward, was this intentional? Overall I think this was quite fun and I can really appreciate the amount of effort you put into drawing the story in a pixelated art style, really well done!
It fit the theme really well, the spaceship is literally stuck in a loop! It took me a second to understand how the game worked but once I got it stuff became pretty fun and interesting, there is a lot of potential here, you could create some very complex levels! Overall great submission!
Lmaooo these sound effects had me dying throughout the gameplay xD
The graphics were adorable! I was just jumping and floating up in the sky about 90% of my gameplay and I got pretty far, I barely used the chomp ability you launch forward lmao. Overall a solid submission and had quite a bit of fun playing it!
Ah yes, the police and the good guy! This hits home specially with everything going on in the world. Great game my guy, you should continue developing it!
Your game prompt my antivirus. I still launched it though. I had quite a bit of fun with it, it was relaxing.
This was a great submission! Great ratings all around for sure. You fit the theme pretty well and I loved the graphics!
@coderaurus Thanks for pointing that out! I changed the icon on the main menu to the left mouse click. @thedarkmagi I had forgotten about the source code! I have added it on my itch page. @luc-creationallabs @luc-creationallabs You steal spells with left mouse click on warlocks and use them with space, the cube thats constantly rotating will stop on the spell you currently have stolen. There is no time limit. @tomeks Whooops! I will try to fix that in the next update!
I liked the artstyle of it but I could not find anything to relate it to the game jam theme. Also I beat it by just going over most fences, I think you did not intend the collisions to be so buggy. Good submission nevertheless :)
Oh wow this was really good, I especially liked the 3d graphics, you did a great job on this. It took me a second to get used to the gameplay but once I did, I had quite a bit of fun playing it! Overall a very solid submission.
I tried playing it as well but it kept getting stuck. Unless... that was your intention? Stuck in an endless loop! Ahhhhh!!!!!1
This was really fun to play! Game has a lot of potential, I made it to level 11 and I spent quite some time trying to figure it out but eventually gave up xD That beep beep sound of the cube moving is stuck in my head now, I heard it so many timeeees!
I don't see how it fits the theme but overall you created a great game!
I love the hand drawn graphics they are super cute!
Very cute graphics! I had fun even though the gameplay was a bit tough at times since you had to get really close to damage enemies but overall I had fun playing it and the cute graphics are definitely a plus!
I did not like the fact I had to enter with an e-mail address but other than that I think it came out great, gave me dwarf fortress vibes!
Graphics are quite good but I was confused as to what else you do besides sleeping?
I love me some strategy tower defense! However, this was really time consuming as enemies would come in very slow waves, after I understood how the game worked I set up harvesters in a perimeter as well as walls and then I sat there waiting for something big to come but it was just more slow enemies in small amounts. Overall I think this is a good game and has lots of potential as a flesh harvester tower defense :D
I also did not see a loop to fit the theme? Perhaps the never ending wave of enemies fits the Lodum Dare theme a bit?
I played this for so long waiting for something to happen xd
I loved this! From the cute hand drawn graphics to the perfect intro you drew! This is a great idea for a game, you should continue developing it, it was hella cute and fun!
Strange, I was confused for a bit but I think I got it. Good submission I enjoyed it, specially the 3d graphics!
Ah yes, Starfox! I used to play that so much as a little human. I liked the submission very much, however I found it rather hard to hit things, the aiming was not accurate or... maybe I just suck? xD
I couldn't play it, could you update your link?
Omg this is what 2020 has in store for us! Massive red blocks will attack the earth! xD
It was fun, I did not know what to do at the end of the level and just stood there for a while until I realized I had to attack that giant thing in the corner xD
Also as many have already mentioned, my gameplay was ended abruptly due to the fact I got stuck in a wall :P
Ah yes, I don't need a game to make me feel lonely xD still though, this was pretty fun and I had a laugh watching my little guy spin endlessly :P
I could not stop laughing at the sounds xD That's a 5 rating in audio for sure! Really cute graphics as well, great submission all around!
I love jumping games like these, the good floor is lava kind. However, i found a few problems for example I would get stuck in between rocks all the time and there was also a hanging function i think? I would get stuck sideways agaisnt rocks. Overall I still think this was a solid submission and I had quite a bit of fun playing it, thanks!
Solid idea and I actually had quite a bit of fun playing around, however the whole moving the mouse to change stance was a bit annoying at times when you were fighting lots of enemies. Overall great submission!
I loved the artstyle of this game. It was very pleasing to the eye and it reminded me of my old favorite games so thank you for that :)
The delayed rotation on the tractor was very annoying but I can understand why you would do it this way, to add an extra layer of difficulty to the game, I am guessing? Regardless of the controls I found the sounds and gameplay to be quite enjoyable and the fact that it is all about gathering apples or should I say... harvesting apples. It fits the theme perfectly. Thanks for sharing, I had fun with it :)
You adhere to the theme really well and I was able to appreciate the graphics too lol, they were kinda funny. If only the camera was zoomed out more then this could have been much better imo. Thanks for sharing, I had fun with it :)
It was quite short but I really liked the prototype- it would make a great game if fully developed.
That was fun- the artstyle was very pleasing to the eye. The only problem I found is that whenever I'd click fullscreen it would crash the game. Thanks for sharing, I had fun :)
It took me a hot minute trying to figure out what to do even when checking the in-game manual all the time lol
The link on the description isn't working. All I could think of during the intro was the amount of works you guys put into drawing the pixel art then the game began and I was mind blown by the amount of work you guys did lol. Thanks for sharing, I had fun playing it! :)
That was entertaining. I wish I could speed up the dash somehow though lol. I had some lag spikes but that could have been my slow-ass PC. I had fun playing it, thanks for sharing :)
Interesting game, this has potential if you decide to develop it further as a mobile game. There were a couple of instances were corn would just fly straight to the space ship and I did nothing lol
Thanks for sharing, I had fun :)
Why was there a guy shooting at me eating corn god damn it, why can't I just eat corn peacefully...
Scale.png
I had a lot of fun palying this, I love puzzle games and the artstyle was very pleasing to the eye. There was a dog looking the whole time and it bother me, I though he would eventually chase me down or something lol
Woa that was very hectic- it was hard to keep track on what was going on the screen with so many colors. Graphics were nice though, regardless of my troubles figuring out what was what lol. I had fun, thanks for sharing :)
Very cute graphics I really had fun while playing it. I found the hitboxes weren't so accurate or maybe they were- too accurate. I found myself missing often as I miscalculated my attacks. Thanks for sharing I had fun with it :)
I like puzzle games so I had fun playing this. I wish there was a timer or more of an indication how long you have before they go bad though, but other than that, was very fun. Thanks for sharing :)
The game appears restricted and I could not play it because of it.
Nice and simple- it fit the jam theme too. There were times were fruits would hit the ground outside the bounds of the camera and that felt a wee bit frustrating lol. Other than that I had fun and I could definitely see this as a mobile game with some more work :)
It took me a long long time to figure out how it works, I recommend simply telling people how to play it otherwise it becomes tedious and it takes away from the fun of the gameplay.
Very well polished game, you guys did amazing. I especially liked the contrast between the player and everything else. Very well thought and perfectly executed visuals. Thanks for sharing, I had fun with it :)
@fromage That was the idea! After a few playthroughs I figure the player could just stand still so I had to find a way to punish that, enter the blinding light!
@jormarysky The blinding light mechanic is there to blind you and allow souls to escape, It's annoyance is unfortunately a important mechanic. I was thinking about continuing the development and releasing it as a stand-alone game but the FPS genre is incredibly crowded so I might pass on that lol.
Thanks everyone for playing :)
@ccglp Thank you, I am glad somebody finally caught that reference :)
@surr-sloidah The color palette was designed with gameplay in mind, to differentiate between enemies(Yellow sunrays), souls(black) and player (fiery orange/yellow). I am glad you liked it :)
@danmerey That is who I took inspiration from! hahaha, you do have a cooldown in here though, you can only have 4 chains on the map at the same time as shown in your UI. They do return very fast though so it feel as though they have no cooldown :P
Thanks for playing everyone! :)
@picross Thank you! That was intentional, they purposely go inside the rays every now and again to hide from your chains!
@jitspoe I for sure should have added a better end screen. I will most likely add this in the future- thanks for playing!
(@krassenstein Thanks for playing it in your stream :)
(@wuppos You are absolutely right about giving the player more feedback about when souls escape- the counter isn't enough. Also, there is a bug when enemies spawn inside the walls and they go towards the rays while outside the map so that is very game-breaking and you most likely experienced it.
@rjerez192 Thank you! Yes, their base speed is always a random number and then as game progresses that number increases. In hidsight I should have added more chains as game went on... That would have been cool. Thanks for playing! :D
@she-wrote I purposely made the enemies blend in with the walls so that they have more of a chance to escape since they do not attack you. To balance it out I gave them a white glow. Thanks for playing!
Thanks everyone! I very much appreciate it.
I love how many people went for harvesting souls. Good job on doing a 3d game- this takes a lot of time and effort. I had my fun playing around with my scythe, thanks for sharing I had a blast :)
Only problem I found is that it was very taxing on my PC for a web build.
Lmao I have no idea why I kept laughing so much throughout my whole gameplay... Thanks for sharing I had fun :)
Wow. This was super fun to play. The smooth transitions between scenes to the small gameplay details that weren't mentioned but felt good finding out about like I did not know you could dash mid flight- that was cool to find out lol.
Art and transitions between scenes and animations were so good! Thanks for sharing I had fun with it :)
It took me a while to figure out how to break the ice but once I did then it all started to make much more sense. The vibe was nice and seeing Thanatos gave me a chuckle lol. Thanks for sharing, I had fun with it.
I like RTS type of games like these but this was a bit too slow and I found nothing to do while waiting for crops to grow- maybe add an enemy that tries to attack your crops or something like that. It was fun though, good job! :)
There are no links :(
Solid idea but I had trouble figuring out where and who I was lol. Maybe make the player character stick out a bit more. I had fun playing it, thanks for sharing :)
Lmao I did not expect that guy falling from above. Game was a bit slow but I actually enjoyed it, looking at them doing their thing- starting at their eyes.
I love me a good story and it looks like you focus on this more than anything else lol. I had fun playing it, thanks for sharing :)
5 stars for fun and theme. Love how the scythe handles mouse input to do physics, really well executed. Thanks for sharing, I had fun playing it :)
That was nice. The hitbox on the bucket when catching apples was very forgiving so thank you for that. There were times were I though I wouldn't catch the falling apple but I did! Thanks for sharing it, I had fun :)
Solid idea for a card game- the fact you can select different decks at the main menu is very flexible in case you want to continue development. Also, props to you for drawing so many assets lol
Wow this was easily the hardest puzzle game I've played in here so far. It took me a solid 30 minutes to beat it lol. It took me a hot minute to figure out how to properly use the scarecrows. Also the artstyle was great. Thanks for sharing, I had fun :)
Wow. That was a lot of fun and the graphics are insanely good for the short amount of time you guys had to develop it. Thanks for sharing it, I had fun with it :)
Needless to say I gave you 5 stars on graphics lol
I had a lot of fun. The physics based player character kept my eyes entertained while playing since there wasn't much going on other than the occasional car seen on the distance. I love the low poly art style and the depth of field made it all come together nicely.
Thanks for sharing, I had quite some fun with it :)
Smart idea, it was a bit hard for me and I am actually very fast at typing so I think the skill level for this game might be a bit too high for an average player lol.
Incredibly fun entry, I kept drowning because I... am too greedy and wanted to carry as many as I could lol this could be a fun game to play on mobile while chilling. I wish there were more maps, enemies and upgrades though lol I understand it is a LD submission but still- I enjoyed it quite a bit! Thanks for sharing :)
The game fits the theme really well and I loved the very cute graphics, well done! Thanks for sharing it :)
There were things I didn't understand at first but after a while I got it. Fun and I really liked the artwork :)
First of all- props to you for creating all these 3d assets in such short period of time lol. I had fun while playing this but for some reason not being able to jump really triggered me. Nice cinematic intro as well! I had fun playing it thanks for sharing :)
Godaaamn aliens! I appreciate the fact you made the gun shoot 3 bullets rather than a single one, it made it that much easier and enjoyable! Thanks for sharing it, I had fun :)
Lmao Amazoff had me cracking up. Cool idea and I really liked the artsyle, there is something about the goofy hand-drawn style that makes it very pleasing to the eye.
Love the pixelated artstyle, I always enjoy playing story-based games so, naturally I had some fun with this one. Thanks for sharing :)
I love puzzle platfortmers so I had a blast with this one. One constructive criticism I have is that I did find myself scrolling down to the description every now and again to see the controls, maybe add a UI that shows them? That would have made this much, much better! Thanks for sharing it, I had fun :)
link does not work :(
The main character reminded me of that space game- Among Us. Often times I found myself looking for things to do while the crops grew but other than that, I had my fun growing plants and selling them for P R O F I T
Thanks for sharing, I had fun :)
Very cute artstyle. At first I went straight south and was running around aimlessly for a hot minute without seeing any enemies then I realized they were all around the spaceship thingy lol
Thanks for sharing, I had fun :)
Holy mother of god, I can see you put in a lot of work into this and I very much appreciate it. I had a blast playing it, thanks for sharing :)
Mood was a 5 for me, love the vibe of it all- there is something about the song and seeing the stars and glowy houses on the distance that really did it for me. Overall I found it very fun but I wish there were more sound effects as well as something that would make it more difficult other than figuring out which plants have the tomatoes in every pasture. Thanks for sharing, I had fun with it :)
Very interesting game- I have never seen something like this before. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was how slow each root spawned, maybe add an upgrade that makes them faster or something similar. I had quite a bit of fun with it, thanks for sharing :)
