Loved seeing a card game!! It was pretty intuitive and I liked how you made it local two player. Very nice job.

Solid idea for a card game- the fact you can select different decks at the main menu is very flexible in case you want to continue development. Also, props to you for drawing so many assets lol
I really liked the mix of 2d and 3d art (especially the pop-up effect of the cards - though I'm not a 100% sure if it is intentional, or just an amusing bug/artifact), and the "programmer art" is charming. A very impressive amount of content too for a jam game, a complex rule set, a tutorial, and split-screen multiplayer? Very cool.
Thanks for the heads-up about the issues of the embed, I was just about to mention them.
@robobarbie @ditam honestly the local two player was me being lazy ;) I had it set up that way for debugging purposes and ran out of time to make some semblance of an AI - the 3D effect was intentional, good to know I should make it more obvious lol
even tutorial part was really fun to explore, not saying about the whole game! solid work on all of this
The premise is really cool, I like the cards you made, some of the text made me chuckle. I can see myself losing time on this if there would have been an online or local vs ai option! Great job!
I'm a huge card games enthusiast, so I'm very happy I could test a good one! Very fun and interesting mechanic of crops that could lead to nice game depth!
I really enjoyed this one! :)
Yeah @sgtweirdo, I wanted to make an ai but ran out of time, was thinking about posting a version with an AI on itch.io just to allow people to better play it solo, but I wasn't sure if that would violate the rules or not
Wow very impressive. Card game design seems really tough to pull off in a jam. Love how classic TCG elements like mana/energy translated with the theme. This feels very cohesive. Great work!
I wanted to include an AI so single players could actually play the game, so I added a version on itch that has an AI (I made this after the jam ended though, so pls play and rate my game before you try it out)

The AI isn't great, and just more or less randomly plays cards, but it beats playing by yourself :) If you do play, I would still like to hear your thoughts on the gameplay and would love to see what decks you come up with! I had a lot of fun making this project and am definitely thinking about continuing to work on it. Note - there's a handful of cards that are relatively unbalanced, that wasn't really a priority during the jam
Wow! Really interesting game. Included desk builder is great feature.
Cool game. As a fellow card game designer for this jam i must say i really like the art design of your cards and the fact the images pop up. The rest of the UI is a bit too default tho and the cards are quite small in the bottom unless you click them. I would like to play this against an in-game ai opponent, but i agree that its hard to pull of within the time limit. Otherwise it's a good game with good variety on the cards. Good job
awesome game. Deep mechanics, perfecft tutorial, I wanna full game
Nice game, pretty intuitive, indeed. But maybe it could draw more than one card by round? The second player wasn't luck, lost his two rats and get only vegetables later. Beside that, very fun game, congrats.
It's a great game card! The tutorial got me so hyped and I was ready to defeat the Bots! Unfortunately there is only a 2 player versus mode :/ If you make an AI versus mode, i will try it for sure!
Wow, this is great! Sad there wasn't time to make an AI to fight against though. Seems like it could have some pretty nice depth to gameplay based on the tutorial if I had someone to play against.
@zluca I was hoping to go back and make the card designs a bit nicer, but ran out of time, so I'm glad they still held up :)
@roroto-sic @demogorgon yeah, I wanted to make an AI but ran out of time, but I did make a (post jam) version with an AI that I posted to itch.io, if you want to try it out, just don't expect any great strategy out of it lol

@noskire, yeah I ran into that problem a couple times, I was thinking about doing something similar to Inscryption where you had crops in a separate pile, and could choose each turn to draw a creature/charm or a crop, but that would've required a lot of rework on the (already minimal) balance
My favourite game from the jam, here you are, finally! As a card game lover i can just appreciate how great this game is. The main mechanic is well thought, the tutorial is clear, the art is.. intended (simple but it works lol). This game have a huuuuge potential. With a basic look, it's already awesome, imagine if it was polished... Congrats, you deserve it!
