Nice game! Simple but very effective. Good job!

Nice game! Simple but very effective. Good job!
Great game! It's just a little sad that you don't have much time to read the text, but that's the only negative I can see there. You put a lot of work into this game, congrats!
This is wonderful! 5 stars on each category, honestly! The last puzzle is particularly well thought out. I think the only problem there is the camera. It's too much focused on the character and it's hard to see what happens when you rotates the camera. Other than that, i would pay for a game like this one. There are good games in this jam, but this one is fantastic! Congrats!
This game is awesome! Developer time is a great way to keep player try your level after completing it. The game is not punishing you for losing since you can restart at any moment. The music is cool, the theme is cool. If i had to say one bad thing (or two!), i would say that wall jumps are not that clear, we don't really know when we are touching them, and the feeling isn't very juicy. The second problem is the level 6, the hidden alien is too much hidden, and it feels more like a forgotten enemy than a part of your level. The shortcut in the ramp level is well-thought, i found it because developer time seemed absurdly short for the level! Overall, the level design is elegant, and the game is cool. Well done!
Neat game. There is not a lot to say, everything works well, from the graphics to the gameplay. I was very immersive, well done!
This one is a really cool game, well polished. It's extremely fun and the difficulty spikes are cool. I lost at 13 because the delivery was impossible to achieve, but it's the only bad point i can see. Well done!
Awesome game! The only criticism that i can make is that the theme in this game is more "after 10 seconds" than "every 10 seconds", but i won't pay too much attention to it, i still feel the theme in your game. Mcnuggets ending is awesome, and insanely hard especially with an AZERTY keyboard, but i did it. And i have to mention it, your intro cinematic is well-made. Thank you for this game!
Nice game! I think it would be better if there was a reason to not circle around the same area. The missiles seem too slow to avoid that. But overall it's pretty good. Good job!
Kinda cool. I find that object chase mini game pretty good, but the levels are too similar. And the boss fight is a great addition, however, i don't think that the stun was necessary. Overall the game has a great potential and is already pretty good for a compo game, good job!
It took me a moment to understand how the game works, but it's a very good use of the theme, if not the best i've seen in this jam, congrats! The game needs to be polished, but it already works well, art is cool, music works, and i've got this feeling of exploring a tower. The game is not as bad as you think, it is actually pretty good!
33 Beats here! The game is a bit difficult to understand, it took me a moment. After you understand how it works it's a lot more fun though, it's cool to control characters like this. I'm still not sure if i understand exactly all actions i was doing. The concept is pretty unique, and with some fixes (like the UI placement), it can turn into a really good game! Anyway this is one of the most complete entries i've seen in the compo, congrats!
I'm always surprised when i see a metroidvania in a short jam. This one works well! Some jumps are a bit hard, but the checkpoints are at the best positions so you can repeat the jumps agains and again. Good job!
This is a great game! I noticed some bugs while playing but it seems that you fixed them in post-compo version. Congrats for doing it in 48 hours!
I don't know how you did this, but you did it! The mini-games are fun, and the difficulty increases as long as you are winning. My favourite one is the shoot mini-games! Good job, cowboy!
Very nice game! Some levels are a bit hard but that's not a huge problem i think. Good job!
That ending was fantastic! Reminds me of a cool joke. The game is hard, but still fun and juicy, you are not forced to remember exactly all recipes, and that's cool. Nice game overall!
Well that's an interesting game. I think the random effects could change the gameplay a bit more, i didn't feel the difference that much while playing. The audio felt a bit weird at start but i completely forgot about it when i was fighting... i guess it's good then? But overall i loved the game, you did an amazing job, congrats!
That's an interesting game. I'll try it soon or later, i don't have a card pack but i can make it work on a computer by just drawing on paint. Thanks for the idea :)
The amount of elements added is impressive. The game was fun, some parts are a bit repetitive though. Good job!
Interesting game, i like what you did, even if it's short. There's a good potential there. Good job!
The game concept is interesting, and to be honest i like it. However, the enemies ruined my experience. Maybe if the physics wasn't like Asteroids it would be more fun. Finally, the treasures hitboxes could have been bigger, to avoid the player to waste time trying to get them and die because they lost control. There's definitely a room for a great game, but for now the fun part is missing. What i liked the most was the map, it's definitely a great addition to the game and it's very immersive. I hope this comment helped you, it's just my opinion and feel free to disagree. You put a lot of work into this, and it's one of the most finished games i've seen, good job :)
Great concept! Graphics and music are cool too! It's just a bit hard to manage packages of different colors. Overall this is an awesome game, congrats!
@coderaurus Yeah, it was planned but i didn't have enough time to prevent those unexpected transitions. It will be fixed after the jam.
@airwaffle This is definitely a huge issue. I wasn't sure how to fix it, but your solution might work without breaking the game. I'll try it. Thanks!
@thedashdude That's what i like in games, unexpected things that make player laugh. I'm glad you enjoyed that :D
@itooh checkpoints are... i don't really know tbh, i had no idea so i tried this kind of greeny thing...
@jacobrutter @xorel @gruff yeah, bamboo is not working... i'll fix it in the post jam version. Hopefully the level can still be finished!
@shibaya @cogcomp @fnelix @xpycm @thatanonoword @benskca
I've played to the 1.2 version. I like a lot the game, it's a nice way to make puzzles great again! The mood is cool, and the game is fun even if the character can be hard to control sometimes. Well done!
For now this is the most innovative game i've played to during this jam. I would want to see more levels, the mechanic seems to allow a lot of interesting situations. It took me some tries to achieve level 2, but it's not that hard. Good job!
There's always a dating sim somewhere. Good job, i wasn't expecting it this time. It's quite interesting actually, i love games with that gameplay, it's an interesting mechanic forgotten by a lot of players. Greate game!
It is such a splendid art! Congrats, honestly. It's quite cool although certain things felt a bit glitchy: the camera and the water. Other than that it's a nice game, nothing much to say it works well and is well designed. Not my favorite genre but still enjoyable. It took me a while to find the shovel, well hidden. Good job!
That's a good start for a turn based strategy. Cool to see that our team isn't the only one that did something in that vibe. I loved the art. I think it would be a nice art style for a game, it just needs to stand out a bit from the background. Surely ther's no background because lack of time. Mechanic wise the game isn't that clear in what it does, it needs to be improved, but that's a lot of work to make it clear. I like how you display the area in which you can move, that's neat. Good job!
My favourite game from the jam, here you are, finally! As a card game lover i can just appreciate how great this game is. The main mechanic is well thought, the tutorial is clear, the art is.. intended (simple but it works lol). This game have a huuuuge potential. With a basic look, it's already awesome, imagine if it was polished... Congrats, you deserve it!
Image1.png Ok that was actually cool. I didn't expect to like a farming game. Only thing that was a bit frustrating is switching between weapons and finding them in this swarm of seeds and plants. I like a lot the mechanic of throwing objects in the hole! Good job!
The game needs a lot of improvements, that's a thing. But the idea is so crazy that it works. It's interesting how you mixed those two genres to make something that doesn't seem that weird when you play it. With a bit more polishing and balancing you can actually get an amazing game! Good job! Note: I saw a weird bug. If it do nothing and just skip my turns, the bot doesn't move their pieces, and they stack over each other.
I'm sorry that you can't.
Did you get a specific error? And did you play on itch or on this page?
@pixelated-pasty Did you try to move after playing your card? Perhaps you didn't notice that they give you moves?
@herryfabien yeah. That's the biggest problem of the game. We didn't have enough time to fix that. It's too easy to get free carrots at the starting point, but fixing that without adding more features would have an negative impact on the rest of the game. We choosed to let the possibility to do it, but it's not encouraged, as it makes players skip the real fun of the game.
@cievers well that's unexpected. Hopefully levels are shorts and it doesn't makes you lose that much. I'll look at a fix for that. Thank you for the feedback.
@doug-graham we definitely need to explain the different traps and enemies lol... I'll add that to the description of the jam. Thanks!
@flaming-aardvark back in time can save you from a tricky situation. However yes, it is indeed not the most useful one...
@miyukiew Just click play at the top of the screen, next to your carrots amount. It'll open the shop and you'll be able to buy cards and then play them. It's not that clear i have to admit.
@andreia @bartalomew @brainles-etertainment @pulni @dfaouaz @pinchazumos @autumnmnmn Thank you all for your feedbacks, they help us a lot!
@artofluba i'm sorry you couldn't play. It seems that the web version doesn't work on some devices...
@artofluba Hmmm. Thank you for that information. I don't have any clue to solve that but I keep it in mind.
The gameplay is quite simple, a bit repetitive but the game itself is short, which is a good point. The timer is quite cool, well done it adds a spicy twist to the game. And it's bee-autiful, i love those animations. Except the climbing one there are all fantastic! Well done, it's a great game!
This game made me laugh for sure! Well done! I didn't expect this ending...
I reached 1050 points. It's quite hard but it lasted longer than i expected. The seed mechanic wasn't that clear but i managed to do it by chance (so it worked i guess?) Art is beautiful, I wasn't expecting a witch to use a scythe! Overall you did a great job, i think it just needs to be more dynamic. Well done!
I didn't manage to enter the capsule too. However it's interesting, and the mood of your game is pretty good too. It's just a bit sad that you can't really know where the asteroids are going to land to avoid them. But overall, I like 3D games in this jam, they're all innovative and smarts, I hope to see more. Well done!
Note: You web versions don't seem to work. For itch.io, try to set in your build settings compression format to gzip or disabled, as itch doesn't work with brotli. For Ludum, you need to zip your folder by zipping together your index.html file and your other files, so your index.html is at the root of your zip folder. Don't forget to change the references of your files in the html code, it's a bit tricky i have to admit.
I hope it'll help you.
