I am not really sure what to do in the first 10 segments until the clock boss appears. I guess I collect items to fight the boss, but in my opinion it takes too much time to get to there.
I think the idea has potential if you could have finished it!
Btw, nice "difficulty" menu hehe
Yay, I'm free from being a salaryman now! All around a very nice game! It would be nice if the levels were a bit more difficult, maybe you'd need to choose what route to take to pick up all of the items in time or something. But I enjoyed it a lot. :smiley:
Fun little game. The character reminded me of the character in Alone in the Dark. I did not realize that I could throw the balls so that made me have a lot of ammo to the final boss.

@lancival @thx4nothing @dnivie I'd planned to make different level with event and situation but lack of time too ambitious scope for 48H compo ! @henrik-ganard Thanks for the comparaison, alone in the dark have a particular aesthetic but in this case it's my limitation to made character from scratch by myself ^^. @termight Thanks i tried to made my game with more humour into, and tell a story too, i'm glad you appreciated it.
Great atmosphere and setting. Would be fun to see a post-comp version with some enemies. The dialog boxes were really funny, well done!
The concept of powering before the boss in a strange timeloop is a fun take on the roguelike genre!
Haha the was really weird but in a good way :smile: Love the dialogue! Always fun with a unique take on the theme to keep you on you toes. The game was the right length though, any longer and it would've been boring.
I can see the effort here! several mechanics, handcraft graphics, simple but well set music... Well done!

Let me start off by saying that this game was so freaking funny. The dialogue, the characters -- I could play an entire game with just this salaryman character, haha.
My main pieces of feedback: (1) As other raters have noted, it wasn't immediately obvious that you were moving through 10 phases before getting to the boss. I think it's because the progress tracker looks like a health bar. (2) I think that the boss was probably a little too easy to beat! (3) It would've been cool to incorporate some sort of platforming element to make it more challenging / fun to get the items. But, considering that we only had 72 hours, I understand how this was probably way out-of-scope.
Otherwise, this game honestly made me crack a smile, and I really enjoyed the characters / dialogue. :)

@jamdong15 Made in 48 hours ! I participated in COMPO mode ! And i agree with your comment, like i say for the others, i didn't have time to finish stages and polish challenge and gameplay so i had just the base, but i will finish it in few week i think ! (I appreciated you find my game funny too thanks ^^) And i've test your game, it"s done.

Well done! Very original! Does the coffee really make you go faster though? I thought that, because of this, I'd usually take the coffee first on any level, but after a while I felt a bit like a fool.
I can see the ambition, and hope you flesh it out more, as I'm exited to hear more about Saleryman and his adventures!
Kinda cool. I find that object chase mini game pretty good, but the levels are too similar. And the boss fight is a great addition, however, i don't think that the stun was necessary. Overall the game has a great potential and is already pretty good for a compo game, good job!
It feels good at first with simple and easy level. However, as game progresses, it feels repetitive with same room getting repeated. The boss is intimidating for sure but for some reason, there's no damage nor anything when he touches player. But nonetheless, boss fight is great break from the repetition, literally.
I liked the art and story, but I was definitely confused about what I should be doing
