Wooh, first place! A very fun little game, good job!
Really cool. I wish I had a bit more time to make the decisions, I felt a bit frustrated with the movement of the cursor and the movement of the clippings not being 1:1. Sorting through the different clippings was a cool experience, but I didn't feel like I had time to read the headlines or really process what I was putting together beyond glancing at the icons, finding the most overall positive clippings, and trying to find a place for them.
With 1:1 movement and some more mechanics that incentivized sorting (pairing/grouping?) the clippings I think this could be a really nice experience, and a good way to tell a story.
Cool game! It gets a bit crazy on high FPS, so it might be nice to cap it at 60 or whatever, if that's possible. At 1100 score half of my level was a graveyard of corpses that kept bugging out the NPCs and blocking my bullets, good times!
Wow, good job on this game. It felt really well put together.
Wow, such a cute game!
Looks really interesting, but I think you might have forgotten to include a download for the game and/or to embed it? Would love to try it out.
Fun game! I think the loading breaks if you rush through the tutorial level (if you enter before the last message is displayed I guess?) I was waiting for a good minute before I realized the game was 100mb and there was no way it was actually taking that long to load
Pretty neat, I think there's some lag related to spawning in the ships that's causing the mouse to jump every now and then.
Cool game and interesting concept, would have been nice with a score system of some kind so I know how "well" I'm doing.
It felt a bit finicky trying to fit the boxes into some of the hallways, but otherwise a really creative concept and fun game!
Sorry, there's no audio! I had planned to (even recorded sounds for most actions), but I left it for the end and didn't manage to create all of the sounds in time. I figured it would be a bit more jarring if only a few things had sound effects, so I left it out alltogether.
@alexander-epton The attacks shouldn't be delayed, but if you already attacked there is a cooldown until you can attack again that can feel a bit weird. I think there also might be a bug with the movement of the ball enemy that causes some attacks to miss even if it looks like they hit. I was looking into the bug, but I got kind of burned out at that point, so I just left it as is. Sorry for that, but thanks for trying out the game though! =)
@jakobthequizguy Yeah, you're absolutely right. Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Yay, I'm free from being a salaryman now! All around a very nice game! It would be nice if the levels were a bit more difficult, maybe you'd need to choose what route to take to pick up all of the items in time or something. But I enjoyed it a lot.
Pretty fun game with a cute artstyle. I wish there was a healthbar so I'd know how far away I am from dying.
Wow! I love how polished the art looks (even if it's simple), and getting the chain explosions is tremendously satisfying. I couldn't get past the triangley (boss?) enemy, but this felt like a diamond in the rough. I'd definitively update the header image if I were you, I was very surprised with the graphics when I booted it up.
One thing I would like is a mechanic that allows you to survive a hit now and then, since I'd die several times, not know what hit me, and feel rather confused about it.
PS. I think some things are frame rate dependent, running it in chrome (with like 5 fps) gives me 0 range on my attacks, but firefox (where it's smooth) gives me just a tiny bit more range than the exploding enemies have.
Wow, the game looks and sounds amazing. I would have liked some more mechanics to spice up the gameplay, but the game feels really well put together.
The artstyle and setting does a lot for this game! I really liked the gameplay, the spinning background not so much
Pretty cool, ~150 is my best score. It would be nice if the difficulty scaled as well as being randomly changed. The enemies had 1-2 HP all the way through for me.
Wow, well done. Sound and graphics are amazing for a compo game. The mechanics are really clever as well.
What a fun little game. Some BGM would have been neat, but otherwise good job on the sounds. And thanks for the nostalgia trip!
Great, the combination of the prompts and the music made me question my own sanity at some points.
What a strange and interesting game, good job.
Pacing felt a bit fast, it felt like I jumped over most of the levels. The first 1-2 rounds were also very confusing without sound, but after I turned it on I realized that the enemies were breaking through the door to get to me. Pretty cool platformer though.
Looks great and has some funky disco music, what more can one really ask for?
Cool music and graphics! Pretty interesting gameplay, and I made it for about 3 minutes, but I feel like I would be hard pressed to do 10
Cute game! I got the "Snow Goose" rank, but I don't really get it. If I spent some more time I might figure it out, but personally I'd enjoy some instructions for the game mechanics.
Nice game. I feel like the difference between the two characters maybe should have been bigger, the upgrades were neat, but it didn't really matter to me if I was using a sword or gun. It might have been cool if the different characters had some different abilities that set them apart and made them better and worse in certain situations.
Took me a while to realize you need to select select the bees in order to send them out, but otherwise pretty neat game!
Wow, that was really fun. I feel like I could spend a lot of time on this (would have liked keyboard controls as well though).
Neat looking game! I like that the enemies can pick up the hearts as well, nice touch.
Looking forward to the RTX version
Yeah, you need to zip up everything in the folder where you built it, except for the _DoNotShip folder. (So the _Data folder, MonoBleedingEdge folder, .exe, UnityCrashHandler.exe, and UnityPlayer.dll all need to be included)
