Looks really interesting, but I think you might have forgotten to include a download for the game and/or to embed it? Would love to try it out.

@dnivie Thank you! ~~Looks like the official game links aren't showing up here for some reason, so the link is in the description now. :)~~
Wow, the music and sound is just perfect! I loved the dancing animation (and the animations in general) and humor in the dialogs! Sometimes it felt a bit slow to wait for the next murder, but this is the fault of the topic  It would have been nice if you could click to skip the text animations for the question dialogs. Great entry!
Concerning the game link: It also only showed up on my game after I included the source code a second link. Seems to be a bug on the side.
I don't think I've seen many LD games with a fully guided tutorial like that, very impressive! The graphics and music were also great, and the writing was funny. I like how the character's dialog changes when some of their items are found at the crime scene (the detective's hat one was my favorite)
Overall, this is an excellent entry. Good job!
This is my favorite game, reminds me of some Japanese board games! This is excellent, in every aspect. Thanks for this game, I would love to see more from you. The graphics are awesome, the story telling is nice, and it's very original, thanks for this, very inspiring!
super vibrant and charming! I love how polished and self-aware everything is. My only complaint is that accusing the culprit feels a bit anticlimactic? It would be great to see an evidence summary after you accuse someone so you can kind of break down which items were red-herrings, which were planted, etc...
The replayability of this is amazing. I got 9 before realizing that it's late and I have to go to bed. ;-; My partner came over cause I was dancing to the music - I have to say that I've never before been so into dancing to a murder mystery before!
I don't really have a critique for this one to be honest. The graphics were adorable, the theme was pretty great and gave a sense of pressure, the randomness made a continual gameplay cycle possible and it was fun the whole way through. My partner and I high-fived each time I got the killer. It was tons of fun!
Incredibly well done here.
Really enjoyed this game and the graphics are gorgeous. I love the cast of characters and I love the way I could see items around the dead body. Love the way the side characters are faceless. It really emphasized the main characters and didn't distract from the gameplay. The scene in which you find out if the person you chose was the culprit or not was also really well made!
Awesome game! I loved pretty much everything, the sounds, music, animation, art, design. The only critique that I have is the randomness, sometimes you get a pretty easy case and some time pretty hard ones, some scaling with the more cases you get right in a sequence would be nice. Congratulations on your work! Very inspiring.
I'm pretty bad at it, but replaying the tutorial was pretty neat! Loving the dialogue and all the attention to detail put into this. I don't think it helps that I haven't slept before playing this, but I am enjoying it even if I can't deduce very well!
Really fun to try figure out the culprit as quickly as possible and I really enjoyed this take on the theme!!
This was a very clever and fun game! The game design and aesthetic was very good, and it was really fun trying to figure out the culprit with the least amount of deaths. Also, the graphics and audio were very nice and clearly showed your personality in the game.
Some interesting mechanics that could've been added to make it a little easier (probably in earlier levels?) would be to have a point system per round, and you lose points the more people die. That way, it would incentive the players to figure out the killer as soon as possible without having them all drop dead.
Either way, very well polished game. Great job!
I was so surprised to see this was a compo, it's just so polished and good! The interpretation of the theme was unique, and the art and design overall was super charming! The characters too.. so cute!
Very polished and funny. I love murder mysteries so this was fun to play.
This game is super impressive, I can't believe you did all of this in 48 hours! I always keep an ear out for good audio design, and I love the music and crunchy sound effects :)
Loooooove the art style and great idea in finding them all! The most impressive part is that this is a compo game and I am impressive by your design, implementation, audio and arts. I am not the murder this time and great job! ;)
I really love the detective themed game! It also pairs nicely with the every 10 seconds theme, the graphics are so cute and 5 stars for the humor!
Loved the framing and style. Chef lookin sus tbh.
Really good! Really funny, very loopable, amogus.
8/10
So many nice, little touches you had in here. Like someone already mentioned, the tutorial is stellar, and mislead me in an enjoyable way that made me really start to pay attention to everything in the game. The visual effects are SUPER well done, you have a really good eye for small details to make things pop. You used some simple squishing and squashing on the characters, but somehow the end effect is that they look like they're bobbing up and down like an old school cartoon. Very neat!
The gameplay and theme itself was very engaging. I brainstormed something similar but it wasn't nearly as clever as this. The whole locked room mystery - but you have to figure out clues while the clock is ticking... now that's smart.
The 10 sec did put a lot of pressure on me so I had to wing a few calls, usually incorrectly. I think that's what separates this game from other detective-ish games. In a detective game you play logically and go over clues and connections. Here, you're judging based on intuition which is VERY unique. Superb job on the concept!
This was fabulous. Great humor, great sprites, and what a GREAT use of the theme. The 10 seconds never feels like enough and I let so many innocent sprites die! "Use intuition" is actually such a subtley clever way to describe how you should play the game.
Laughed even when I lost. Lost this one.
This game is a slam dunk. Funny, polished, made me think before making accusations. Great use of the 10 second theme that actively made the game more fun.
Amogus! See you at the compo top chart!
Very fun game! Also nice that there was a tutorial I could follow before starting, really helped haha. Art fits very well!
Honey, wake up! New lectvs game just dropped!
I thought really hard - is there any reason not to give this 5 stars everywhere?
No, definitely not.
You had a plot twist in your *fricking tutorial*. How could this game just keep on giving? You're so generous with your content, your writing, so many items with descriptors... The architecture is reaaallly innovative!! Procedurally generated little murder puzzles? And you said it's not a puzzle game, but it is! If you pay close attention and you're careful, I believe you can have everything you need to catch the culprit. I never failed once after the tutorial!
What an incredible job you did. Everything is so clean, so polished, the deaths are emphasized in clever and powerful ways. It's juicy everywhere, all the little animations, the sprites bouncing up and down, and shaking, terrified when questioned, the clues popping up after each murder, the timer with that skull icon, it's all so well put together, so high quality. I enjoyed every second of this experience, because you made every second count. There is no gameplay incentive to solve the murders as fast as possible but narratively, preventing the next death had me rushing, but at the same time, weighing that element of risk/reward: do I take the risk of being too hasty and accusing the wrong character?
It's incredibly how you captured the spirit of traditional murder mysteries and managed to cram that in a hyperactive, hyperefficient treat of a distillated micro-puzzle gameplay loop. Masterful. Thank you.
@fae-pdf Thank you so much for the incredible words!! People like you are who drive me to better myself and improve my games every time.
Really brilliant game. Excellent mechanic that fits the theme perfectly. Great idea for a game and it is really engaging the play
I love the theme and I especially love the art! It always makes me nervous trusting my gut, but it turns out my gut is pretty good. My only note would be it gets easy once you've see most of the tricks. I had to choose to lose eventually. Other than that I love it and it made me laugh a lot.
I'm going to use this accidental double post to say good job once again.
Pretty fun. Makes me want to go start a murder mystery of my own.
Wait...That's not what I meant.
Nice detective game! Failed couple times on first tries but finally managed to point finger at the right culprit.
Great way to make a detective game! Love the fact that it's sometime more about intuition than from puzzle. Love it !
Love this idea of creating a murder mystery game for the 10 sec theme. I also appreciate the detailed tutorial. Great job on the artwork as well. One thing to maybe include is a Flash warning for people who are sensitive. But overall well done!
Woah!!! I love this game spirit. Audio and visual are also on high level (straight for me) Thought, the lovely game now from this jam. You can count on the highest raitings from us Thank you for sumbision!
Really fun - I should not be a detective though, very bad - so many innocents....
Great entry, had fun with this one - only small gripe that that some of the screen wipes and transitions were a little long, but super minor
Wow! This is a fantastic entry. I can't believe you were able to make such a complete product in such a short time span. I love the character animations especially, it adds so much charm and character. Incredible!
Such a fun and innovative gameplay! It's like playing LARP. Great entry!
I really liked it... I am a fan of detective games and other stuff (i've watched the entire case closed anime) and I am really biased but it is one of my favourite games on this game jam. Thank you for making it :D
I tried this game on my phone with the html5 version. Worked like a charm!
You made a really fun game! The presentation is really good, the gameplay is fun and engaging and you really want to try again and again and again.
I'm impressed by the quality of what you made in 48h! Congratulation for this wonderful entry!
Loved the visuals and tone! Cohesive sounds and music! Fun to play!, Nice entry!
There are a lot of creative stuff in this game, I like it. It's like Among Us but again !
I really enjoyed playing this. It reminded me of playing 'Murder' with my sisters when we were kids. The clues are a really nice touch (especially with them being red herrings so much of the time.)
I liked it, very simple but enjoyable. Good work!
"These guys look suspicious - they have custom sprites!" lol :D Fun game with a good idea. I stumbled over a bug on my first run in the web version where I failed to identify the real murderer, but after the restart everyone just stood there without a countdown and no one got murdered. Rest of the game feels very polished. I especially like the sprite work and the smooth music.
That's a tricky type of game to create in just 48h! You did an amazing job to build an actual gameplay for a detective in such a small format. Well done!
