Cool music and graphics! Pretty interesting gameplay, and I made it for about 3 minutes, but I feel like I would be hard pressed to do 10

Very much fun, music and speed. Nice game!
Pretty fun, nice implementation of the jam theme. Cannon is very fun. Would be nice if there were some random obstacles in the stage just for the aesthetic change
Really satisfying to blow stuff up. My only complaint is the limited ammo.
Control and gameplay quite responsive ! Getting better and better as I kept playing, good job !
Very nice and catchy game
Good job on implementing the theme in this way :) Congratulations to everyone involved. I felt like the robots were getting more and more healthy over time, which made me wanting to always get that next upgrade fast! :)
its fun to play
Make me addicted, very nice job!
Was a bit difficult to find the hitbox on one of the monsters, but other than that a very nice game with good graphics and sounddesign! (:
You did a very good job choosing the enemies, having a range enemy that shoots projectiles and a melee it's a very good combo, it feels the perfect difficulty.
I got addicted to this game. I lasted 6:06 Come to play my game and rate it!
Nice one! Love the mechanic of reloading every 10 seconds. Really fits the theme.
That was fun :) At least for as long as the ammo didn't run out XD Good job
Liked this, the pixelized effect looks really nice and the gameplay feels very solid.
I love the music!
Pretty fun, reloading every 10secs is a good idea and works well, plus the bonuses are well thought in accordance to it.
Might be missing some feedback when hitting enemies, but overall quite nice!
Thanks everyone for the feedback and love, I was very close to trash this entire game and wrote [a post](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/10-minute-apocalypse/$308806) about it. It really means a lot to have pushed through and end up with good results.
Thanks again!
Suddenly, i can't move in web version, but i still can shoot and load the Big Gun. Lovely, that you leave a link with code, so community can check it and, maybe, learn something new. Shit happens, mate, and you're doing great. I'm proud of you!
Im glad you didnt give up on this game its pretty fun and I think the controls feel smooth and the speed boost feels nice and responsive. Was interesting eventually trying to manage having enough shots before the 10 seconds was up and getting upgrades after leveling up was satisfying. Nice job!
Fun game. Actually played quiet a bit. Like how you have to switch from aggressive to dodging. Also cant just spam the attack. Good Job!
This is definitely one of the best top-down shooters I've played this jam. The controls feel good, you actually feel pretty cool and powerful whizzing around killing robots (until you get completely overwhelmed after 2 minutes :D). Upgrades feel impactful, cannon feels powerful, except I never got to see the impact because I'd already fled from the scene by the time it hit!
Good job all around
The update of the orbital cannon was a NICE update, it feels good to catch a group of enemies and....well.. boom, actually it helps a lot to clean the map and raise a lvl fast, having a good timming using that weapon helped me to live a bit longer.
I love games of this genre. Reminds me of Crimson Lands. The execution of the shooting is good, but what I like the most is the bombardment. In my opinion, the visibility range is too small. It is worth raising the camera higher. Well done, good job.
Ran into a bug where the game froze when you killed multiple enemies simultaneously, resulting in several level ups on the same frame. Overall though, very fun to play. It was very satisfying to get big kills with the special ability. The hitboxes on the bullets felt a little wonky though, I was frequently shooting straight through the little enemies without hitting them.
aiming feels a bit off, and clumping is also an issue
@boxedmeatrevolution & @fudgeawsome thanks for the feedback.
The freezing bug on multiple levelups was actually something I feared but could never test out properly
Regarding the hitboxes, its resolved using raycast, therefore there are specific cases where a bullet will go through an enemy if it is at a specific angle or distance, regardless, I had that same feeling that the bullets went through enemies, but after running a frame by frame analysis I discovered that what you actually see is the trail going through, the bullet never hits the enemy, thus making that illusion that the bullet is going through.
Regarding the aiming, yeah, it takes a little bit to get used to because the bullets are not aligned with the center axis from the start, so you will shoot towards the point you aim but the trajectory is not exactly straight from the axis. Also I think different resolutions will affect the aminig, but I haven't tested it that much
In my best attempt I survived till 4:50  Haven't played Vampire Survivors or any other game like that, but after playing yours I think I can dig this type of gameplay - very addictive and fun. Even without any weapon variety it was fun stacking up hordes of enemies and blowing them up with your mega air strike. Good job!
More fun than a lot of jams actually! The loop plays alright.
Not much to say, third party music and art so only can judge on game loop. standard arena shooter format, the controls don't feel great for movement although not awful. biggest gripe is that the op-up for levelling up is distracting and often felt like it led me to forget where I was going and take some extra damage. I didn't really find the boost helpful, the more standard roll dodge/dash that lets you get through enemies would have been more helpful, also the air strike felt too slow to be useful. Also the reload mechanic is not really fun to me. Shooting stuff == fun, so not being able to shoot stuff != fun. Anyway good job on getting a playable game, just could use some tweaking to make it feel beter to me.
@automatonvx thanks for the feedback. The drones, main character and all of the music were made by the team during the jam, I had to fill in the remaining stuff with 3rd party assets and sounds so we declined the graphics and audio ratings.
@juanrod707 ah thats too bad because the music and art you guys did do was pretty cool, maybe for ratings would have been better to do just use really quick and dirty home grown assets for those parts instead of third party so you could at least opt-in for the rating. For me in game jams I prefer bad home made over higher quality third party, its kind of part of the fun.
