LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Sacrifice Golf by Literally Void 2022-10-07T02:26:26Z

I like the use of the weapons to thin out the enemies so they don't get too overwhelming, though I found myself having to launch missiles into nowhere to avoid accidentally killing off TOO MANY sometimes (I need victims for the sacrifice!). In any case, the game is fun to play and the graphics are quite polished (it is not just shapes; it is shapes done very well), so great work!

The Horde - The 10 second Reckoning by Pickle 2022-10-06T01:45:52Z

Although the game is quite simple, I found it quite enjoyable. It reminds me of my days of kiting entire hordes of enemies around in WoW and then mowing them down all at once when they are all grouped up! The horde gets overwhelming FAST if you let them catch up to you, but you also have a lot of control in making sure that doesn't happen. Great job overall!

Avery, 10 seconds! by winniehell 2022-10-07T02:03:20Z

I love the adorable little hero character and the way that he spins when he jumps! I think the game is a little hard at times due to randomness (i.e. how am I supposed to jump the largest pole while gravity is increased?) but the reverse is also true (I can jump well over some platforming bits while gravity is low). Fun game overall, though I am kinda wondering what happened to the hard-working little critter since there isn't really an ending.

Stella Brown and the Curse of the Grocery Witch by Iamsodarncool 2022-10-07T01:17:30Z

I love the way that there's no timer so you have to use the music (or counting) as a clue for when to jump. Speaking of music, the soundtrack in this game is phenomenal! I love the way it switches back and forth between the peaceful elevator music and the rock guitar music. And great storywriting here too - the game had me so interested that I had to play it again from the beginning just to see what happened if I chose the other ending! Great job all around.

Teck Tronix by Kilian BAPTENDIER 2022-10-06T02:13:19Z

At first I found it very difficult to read the cards in time to play them, but the more I played, the more I found I could get the gist of them in order to get a whole bunch played in time. I really enjoy card games like this, and you get bonus points with me for making it a robot fighting game! =) Dance-fighting, even. It feels a little bit like spamming cards as fast as possible might be a legitimite strategy (since you allow 10 seconds to play as many as you want), so maybe some more tuning, restrictions, or harder/more advanced foes would help with that, but I also understand that it's a jam game with limited time for tuning, and honestly I think it's already pretty cool the way it plays now. This is an ambitious project, and I think you've done a great job!

10 Second Boss by coatline 2022-10-07T00:59:24Z

The improvised sound effects are a bit hilarious, but I have to say it kinda works for the mood of the game (and is way better than not having sound at all). I also love the large variety of weapon types you put into this as it was fun to enumerate them all and find out what they did (personally, I love the nuke-rockets). The game overall was quite entertaining, so great job!

Phase Snake by lootgrounds 2022-10-07T02:42:25Z

Quite simple but quite good! I appreciate that you included a whole bunch of levels and enemy types. I also find it interesting that you made the snake move via rotation as I think most snake games I've ever played only ever seem to move in compass directions.

Untitled Cat Game by sliphtrex 2022-10-06T02:46:17Z

Haha! I love the use of the vacuum: mortal enemy of cats everywhere, especially the first time you click the play button, when the vacuum unexpectedly starts moving and you're like "Oh, no... I see where this is going..." I found this game quite enjoyable (although surprisingly difficult) and quite humorous, and I loved the puzzles and also the ending.

It All Comes Crashing Down by Quinn_Patrick 2022-10-04T03:39:15Z

This was quite a fun little innovative game, though I must admit I'm not very good at it - my tower seems to devolve into a heap of trash relatively soon after building it. I like the idea of the random events and bombs being thrown at the tower and I love the humor and light mood that you put into the game as well.

For Whom The Bell Tolls by Diego Teran 2022-10-04T02:46:25Z

Wow, this was a really unique and fun little game to play! Although a short experience, the game kept me interested the whole way through as I slowly figured out how to push my way past each of the walls it blocks my progress with. And each time I figure something out, I am rewarded with a new room to explore! I ended up playing all the way through. The story and idea are quite good, too. Very well done!

BUN-hop by bqq 2022-10-04T04:05:30Z

What an adorable little platformer! This game is very shiny and polished compared to most other entries. It feels very good to play, and I'm impressed by the amount of content there is. I think you've done a wonderful job on it!

minigames! by thyoi 2022-10-06T03:25:57Z

I am very impressed by the sheer amount of content you were able to make for this in such a small timespan. *ALL* of the games are both relaxing and enjoyable, so if that was your goal, then mission succeeded! There's a little taste of everything in here, and your entry demonstrates well that you don't really need to win or have an end goal to enjoy games!

Drift Warrior by David Forrester 2022-10-04T03:25:14Z

I showed it to my brother today and apparently he is some kind of natural-born master at this game - he got a score of 3,198. I wonder if anyone will top his score?
