The game looks amazing, the art and sounds are cool, I like the mechanics but it's a bit hard to see the effects of the cards. Maybe icons instead of text would have been more useful. Anyway, congrats!

I love card games, but i have a lot to say. Game does not give you any chalange or place to plan something, i just played all my card from hand, never thought about what were the effect and I won all the times, you should have made restrictions or something like that to encourage players to read cards and plant ahead. There was also no damage or shields visual indication. Game looks nice and posses are cute. 4/10

feliji 2022-10-04 09:12

The game is fun, and the art is very nice ! The only thing I would say is that I won very easily by doing pretty much anything, but it was funny to beat my opponent with those sick moves x)

sulexa 2022-10-04 09:12

Nice game, too bad that 10 seconds is too short to read that much cards.

nilolo 2022-10-04 09:13

Love the atmosphere! The card effects are very complex and the game has a lot of depth. For me the 10-second timer put a stop to most tactical thinking and I ended up spamming same color cards without reading. But maybe this is a limitation of the jam version. In a full game the player would have more time to learn the cards. Enjoyed it very much, lots of content!

zailr 2022-10-04 09:20

It is a fun game! I liked the atmosphere and how we danced

ben-barsdell 2022-10-04 09:26

This is a really nicely polished card game. Unfortunately I had some problems working out how to play (disclaimer: I rarely play card games). The 10 second timer didn't give me enough time to read the cards, and it wasn't clear whether I was supposed to be thinking about which cards to play or simply what order to play them in. In the end I found that simply spamming all of the cards was an effective strategy and I beat all the opponents :). A guided tutorial would be useful to introduce the game without immediately dropping you into the 10sec loop. That said, the pixel art is really nice, the controls felt smooth, and the music works well. Nice work!

sbackman 2022-10-04 09:27

Sound effects and music sound good and the graphics look also great. I was a bit confused on how many cards I could play so in the end I ended up just playing somehow my entire hand and won even faster.

charliemrl 2022-10-04 11:32

Nice one ! I love the mood and the aesthetics of the game, it looks so clean !

Gameplay side, I'm not that convinced : It's kinda hard to read the cards effects in less than 10 seconds before playing, it makes me want to play randomly and just spam all of my cards and just try to match the 3 colors to have the additional effect, and it will works as well which doesn't requires me to use strategy at all.

I also think the game lacks a little bit of juice, like some stretch animations on the card you draw / use. Same for the dance moves that could have benefited from juicy particles and more shiny lights to make them feel more impactful.

glaikunt 2022-10-04 11:55

Awesome game! The art, music, and naming of things were amazing. Had a good laugh reading the dance moves & opponent names. It became easier as I went through it. Some really over powered combination of cards. I couldn't get full screen on itch so had to scroll up & down sometimes. Overall amazing job, had lots of fun playing through it!

koningmathijs 2022-10-04 12:28

Cool take on the theme! Great game, the art and music really stand out. Congratz!

keip 2022-10-04 12:31

it is good that you can read the cards in the gallery because the 10 seconds are not enough to read the cards. by the short time you have to learn the cards by heart otherwise it is not enough. the graphisc are very nice. nice game

lincoln-sin 2022-10-04 12:38

Must have been one of the most well coded and rigid game. Love the humor and atmosphere. Feels fun to experiment and learn the system. Would love to see a full game release.

krakadushka 2022-10-04 12:59

Cool art and gameplay, I really like it! Also music choosen excellent) It could be good if you'll add link a link to the download, because in HTML version I can't read cards description before selecting and dragging. Also It is really hard to read card description in 10 seconds. I've tried to put as many card as I can in my turn and it worked) So maybe it would be a good Idea to add some action points to control the quantity of cards that player can play. But still really good game, I have a lot of fun playing with it!)

cowgummiboy 2022-10-04 13:50

Really fun concept with the dancing cardgame, the music is fun, the robotnames are really cool! the games looks really good aswell. Sadly it feels like there isn't quite as much stratagy needed. It feels like you can win by just playing as many cards of the same color as possile and by just emtying your hand in the 10 seconds. Maybe in addition to the 10 second rule some kind of cost to play the card would have prevented that. But nevertheless it was still fun to play.

kr4ft3r 2022-10-04 18:48

I'm not good at card games, which is pity since you seem to have a neat system laid out. Yet I played on as the atmosphere is entertaining. And I guess there is a balancing problem as I managed to defeat all the opponents by just randomly throwing cards in (due to me not understanding how to play).

Other than that, the world, characters and atmosphere is absolutely superb, great job.

hawke-games 2022-10-04 20:37

This is a pretty cool idea. It took a second to figure out how it worked but once I did, it was really fun. You have to think fast and play a lot of cards instead of just carefully planning a few. Unfortunately, once I realized that the game became really easy to spam cards with minimal thought. But the idea definitely has a lot of potential. The graphics look great, though I had trouble trying to put the game in fullscreen. Also, the music was good and I think it's funny how the watermark almost adds to the game because it sounds so robotic Lol.

fever 2022-10-04 21:33

I love the music and the mood of the game & the idea of the robots having a fight with dance moves. The game was a bit too big for my browser window in full screen but still didn't take too much away from the experience. It was pretty difficult to read all the cards in time so there isn't much time to make a tactical decision, very difficult game but that's not a bad thing!

gousen-pride 2022-10-04 22:36

What a great idea for a game, a cyberpunk dance game, I would never thought that! Very well executed and crafted. Good work guys!

nyxkn 2022-10-04 22:38

Game's really cool! Excellent idea and really well executed. At first I didn't quite get how to play the cards but once figured out it was smooth sailing. I think there wasn't enough strategy involved, as spamming all the cards seemed pretty effective. The other gripe I have is that I was reading cards text all the time and couldn't watch the glorious dance moves :( The art and the dance moves are super well done and incredibly charming. Music is also a great fit. Overall very good polish and quite an impressive entry for a jam. Well done!

lenan 2022-10-05 01:21

Very fun game.

Audio and graphics were nice

My only issue with the game is that since it only gives me 10 seconds i had no time to read the cards, i have no idea what they did based on the color since i didn't remember what each color did, so i just spammed cards based on the color and it worked out every time.

I can see some potential in this to be a fast paced card game roguelike

thyoi 2022-10-05 09:04

Cool ideas. It's fun to beat your opponent with dance moves. It's enjoyable to play very long combo's sometimes. However it's hard to read through the card descriptions in 10 seconds or identify them by the poses on the cards. Overall a good game

patomkin 2022-10-05 09:42

It was great fun trying to read everything, failing and just spamming cards as they go. The only downside is that it ends so quickly. I WANT MORE! :D

joedev 2022-10-05 18:04

Felt like a mix of a rhythm game and a card battler which was fun. Sound design is good and the art is great, gameplay confused me a bit at first because I didn't read the rules first (my bad) and then I got it! Good job all around

elzeu 2022-10-05 20:02

I became the new king of Teck Tronix :), fun and innovative, just missed the "Triple Bye Bye Birdie" step haha. Would love to see the future of the project. Good job

robert-li 2022-10-05 20:03

what's cooler than a dancing robot? a dancing robot contest! I love how you created an urgency of deciding what dance moves to perform with a limited time! It kinda feels like what a real dance contestant goes through but with generated commands for robots! Really cool!

bangkerpow 2022-10-06 01:49

I love the idea but it's hard to work out a strategy with only 10 seconds. I ended up just spamming cards and won. Amazing polish for a jam. Well done.

anne-nichols 2022-10-06 01:51

Loved the graphics and sound design! Understanding what cards to play and what they each did was not super straightforward, and got stressful when I only had a short period of time to look at my hand. But I love this concept!

david-forrester 2022-10-06 02:13

At first I found it very difficult to read the cards in time to play them, but the more I played, the more I found I could get the gist of them in order to get a whole bunch played in time. I really enjoy card games like this, and you get bonus points with me for making it a robot fighting game! =) Dance-fighting, even. It feels a little bit like spamming cards as fast as possible might be a legitimite strategy (since you allow 10 seconds to play as many as you want), so maybe some more tuning, restrictions, or harder/more advanced foes would help with that, but I also understand that it's a jam game with limited time for tuning, and honestly I think it's already pretty cool the way it plays now. This is an ambitious project, and I think you've done a great job!

spike-studio 2022-10-06 02:22

Pretty cool that the combat is based around dance move. Unlocking cards over time was also pretty sweet. The biggest thing for my is I couldn't resize the window, so I had either the top or bottom of my screen cut off. It was still fun though, nice job!

saikai 2022-10-06 13:55

Great looking and feeling game with a nice concept. sadly it is much to easy to beat because of missing restrictions (just spamming hand cards works 100% of the time). But this concept has promise to be much more if you work some more on it.

aripize 2022-10-07 11:50

Very nice!

armgarr 2022-10-07 12:02

I really like the concept of using and combing cards to fight opponents. I couldnt begin to remotely explain to someone how it works however. I found a real disconnect between what i was doing wiht the cards and what was happening in the fight. It was unclear what the cards actually did and how the opponent was doing their moves.

I played through and beat every opponent by playing all of the cards starting with doing 3 of the same color each time. I was practically invincible and i crushed the enemies but again i have no idea how or why i did so well.

The visuals are very impressive and thematic and having each card pose be played by the character was a real treat to see! I started playing cards just to see the character do it. I was surprised there were multiple different opponents as well as unlocking more cards as i progressed. If i had any sense of how the cards work this would have been a big draw for me to continue.

Overall very impressive what you were able to get done and it seems you had an innovative idea for the gameplay but struggled to communicate it (which is always difficult in a Jam even when its super simple!)

lauptimist 2022-10-07 15:15

I was missing the pixel art in this gamejam, glad to see it here! It's actually quite good (even tho I'm not a deckbuilding game kind of person) I can acknowledge the amount of effort you put into it! Good replayability when unlocking new cards and fun moves, thanks for sharing your game :)

caresle 2022-10-08 02:44

The music is so coooool. It was an really fun game to play, it will be nice to have a more clear way of what's going on in the battle, but it was a really fun, happy game, i would love to play more levels.

1kirik3 2022-10-08 10:24

This is a really great game with such amazing art and music. In gameplay i was interested too

mar3k 2022-10-08 12:28

Really awesome game! The concept is really cool, dancing card game just fits this theme very nicely. On top of that cool music and graphics. Only complaint I have is that the battles might have been a little bit too easy, but it is really hard to balance such game in a short time. Well done!

paul-avallone 2022-10-08 19:56

Love the art and the atmosphere so much. The aspect ratio was doing really weird things. I wish the game was easier to understand. I ended up just playing all the cards and winning because everything seems to be a combo. I think with more strategy this game could evolve into something more. I really enjoyed it. Great job!

rage-paint-games 2022-10-09 16:37

Heck yes -- a dance battle! Love the concept, the art, the music. I found myself playing the game over and over again. It was a little too easy, but I would never expect someone to be able to balance a game in such little time. Sure, you can just spam your whole hand and win, but... I played so much, I got familiar with the cards and their effects to the point I didn't even really need to read them and had fun just trying to min/max my hand. "How much drawing, blocking and damage can I get?" instead of focusing on winning/losing. I managed to drop my opponent's HP from 20 to 1 in a single turn -- MIC DROP. Thanks for the fun game!

whumpuswu 2022-10-21 11:08

Great art and poses ! Love the concept but I had a hard time figuring out what to do

I didn't feel like I could decide of winning or losing, mindless spam is encouraged quite a bit ha ha
