LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Limbo Library by Herman Chau 2020-10-07T17:45:48Z

Spectacular! Well done. I could see this being a full game with just a bit of extra effort. Making the gameplay more challenging in a fair way will be the biggest obstacle.

S P A C E D O U T by LanaLux 2020-10-05T13:45:35Z

Great work Lana! It was fun exploring the ship and seeing which combinations in a day are most efficient. I can't believe you did all those assets that quickly!

Space Crisis by dan-whiffing 2020-10-28T13:49:57Z

@fractal Ah, I thought I could remove the audio component of rating to participate, didn't realize that wasn't the case. Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

A Fly's Life by recursor 2022-10-03T02:14:56Z

Wow this is amazing! Love the concept, the graphics, and the sound! The buzz switching pitch is so good. Level design is nice as well. Great job!

Ten Snailconds by JakobTheQuizGuy 2022-10-03T02:09:36Z

The snail is super cute! The shoe does me a stress but very fun. Great jorb!

Jam Session by Guardaro 2022-10-03T01:29:01Z

Love the aesthetic and music! It's a little punishing and difficult for my taste, but was fun to play. Maybe an easy mode to practice with?

Reaper by Kristoffer 2022-10-03T01:32:50Z

Art looks great! I like getting upgrades every 10 seconds, but my attacks feel like they aren't doing much. Maybe give the player more initial damage or make it clearer that the enemies are being hit. Nice work with the upgrades!

Poker Blitz by dan-whiffing 2022-10-17T20:38:55Z

@ninjacreeper47 Thanks for letting me know, looks like something changed LD side after the first week or so that prevents my assets from being loaded by Phaser. Couldn't find a fix so just removed the embedded version to avoid confusion. Thanks for playing!

Lavalette by Fribolin 2022-10-07T15:29:53Z

I did something kind of like this for GMTK 2021, solitaire carcassone. I like your take better though, well done~. Art and UX are very nice

Flicker by oolimry 2022-10-07T16:15:15Z

Very moody game, love the audio and though I find the gameplay a bit frustrating at first, it was enjoyable trying to push through and use the information the game provides to daredevil my way through. Nice job!

The Stack Machine by seshoumara 2022-10-05T16:10:52Z

Nice! Love programming games, and interesting to see this theme applied to the genre. Only tackled the first 2 challenges but looking forward to doing more! Great work

10Flap by PlanetBluto 2022-10-03T01:55:06Z

Love the music and graphics, and its a cool concept. Also love the nothing room :D

LD52 — Harvest

9CELL by binroot 2023-01-10T00:37:23Z

Very moody game. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and fun figuring out how the game works. Good job!

Harvestris by niterich 2023-01-11T02:54:22Z

A little confusing at first, but was satisfying to manage to grow some plants and beat the high score. Good job!

We Harvest as One by Ben Toosey 2023-01-10T00:40:54Z

Some nice puzzle designs in here! Loved the babaesque graphics

Kobold Fishing by Gawain Doell 2023-01-10T00:30:16Z

Fun game! Enjoyed the sound effects and simple yet fun gameplay. Yip! Shiny!

LD57 — Depths

Target Practice by JCMonkey 2025-04-07T21:55:24Z

Surprisingly fun despite its simplicity. Could use a bit more depth/challenge, and some more variation in sound effects. Nice job!

Submarine-Souls by psychomonster 2025-04-08T01:59:10Z

Great art and sound, really love the vibe! The controls were a bit fiddly for a low res game, but it's good as a rage inducing speed run game. Great work

Deep Guild by argensis 2025-04-08T02:04:15Z

I love a good management game! I agree with the other people mentioning there's a bit too much waiting, but you implemented a lot of good foundational ideas. A fast forward button and a bit more polish might be all it needs

In the Inferno by Talia 2025-04-07T21:48:10Z

The art is nice, though I found it starts a little too hard/fast for me. Would be nice if the deadly obstacles had more contrast than just the outline, especially given the sort reaction time. i like the terrain generation, very dynamic

Profundo by Marcos Tulio Cavalcante 2025-04-08T01:48:38Z

Great job on the art and music! Love the general mood and vibes. Game feels a bit slow, but the charm makes up for it

INNER DEPTHS IDLE by munmungames 2025-04-08T03:06:39Z

Wow, great incremental game for a jam! AI art feelings aside, you did a an awesome job pulling this together

Iron Depths by Piotr Krzystanek 2025-04-07T21:32:44Z

Very nice! Really fun learning how the game works, but the lack of crosshair was a bit frustrating, especially when trying to turn everything off quickly after restarting the reactor. Great minimal puzzle game though, took me a good 30 mins to beat it

Echoes of the Deep by nyxkn 2025-04-08T01:55:35Z

Love the mood and audio! Very charming at the start, but felt a bit slow as I needed to navigate more strategically.

Deepsweeper by dan-whiffing 2025-04-07T13:18:00Z

@oxnh thanks! Forgot to make it public

Deepsweeper by dan-whiffing 2025-04-07T19:16:31Z

@ssiannas Thank you for the feedback! Since I had a bit more time before the jam deadline, I've improved the performance and UI a bit. Things are much brighter now. I also added a note about diagonals to the instructions.

Deepsweeper by dan-whiffing 2025-04-08T00:28:12Z

@oxnh Thanks! I have added some music as you suggested, great idea. I would've liked to add some bubbles and fishies, but not enough time left I think. Appreciate your feedback

Deepsweeper by dan-whiffing 2025-04-08T00:29:08Z

@ollulf Thanks for playing! Not sure what happened with your mouse, the only time I change the camera dynamically is when the map starts, I snap you to look at the cubes. Might be a specific browser issue I haven't encountered

Deepsweeper by dan-whiffing 2025-04-08T01:29:40Z

@bluewoozle Thanks for playing! I appreciate the bug report. Could you tell me your browser and any more details on how to reproduce? I've tried swimming all over the place and I never teleport

VoidQuest by koalabear 2025-04-07T21:58:58Z

I like the premise, but the controls are a bit frustrating to make me want to keep going on the loop. Maybe make the controls a bit more responsive/friendly and keep the focus more on getting better upgrades each loop

This game is mid by minidavid 2025-04-08T01:42:49Z

Implementation is rough around the edges, but solid concept and good level design. Well done!

Dysbarism by nathmate 2025-04-07T21:52:34Z

Cool way to make a submarine game innovative! I appreciate you not making the narwhals deadly, though I felt bad about killing them... Was fun trying to right myself after battle. Nice job!

BLOBFISH BISTRO by dumchevdev 2025-04-08T01:38:38Z

Very cute art and idea! I found it a bit distressing that when I clicked on things, the camera was shaking. It made me feel like I was messing up but im pretty sure I was playing right. Great job!

Deep We Go by NickNickolas 2025-04-07T21:45:07Z

Neat game! Took me a bit to understand the mechanics, explaining things a bit more in the description would be helpful. I like the way its balanced, though sometimes I really wanted to redirect my troops but had no way to do so. Managed to beat 3 levels, nice job!

LD59 — Signal

Alpine by RenD 2026-04-24T18:29:43Z

Very polished game with great art, music and gamefeel! My only notes are that it is annoying to have to stop whenever the camera moves, and that it was unclear which node opened the locked gate close to the end. Everything else was perfect. Well paced, nice touch being able to zipline at the end, and feather collecting/speed running. as a reason to replay. Awesome work!

Signaliens by martinfernandezGD 2026-04-22T02:28:01Z

Interesting combination of mechanics! I didn't understand that I had multiple devices at first, then got the hang of it! It'd be nice if the device auto-submitted when I get it aligned to keep the pace up. Also if I picked up devices automatically or with the same button as deploying. Adjusting more than one position feels a bit tedious, but might work with dual joysticks. Great art and sound, overall lovely job!

Signal Repair Team by filgreen3 2026-04-22T21:26:04Z

I really liked the visuals/audio and general game feel. Also thought the idle game to speed up the main idle game was a nice touch. I kind of felt like I was just on autopilot and I think everything was just working out? Didn't think too hard about sending trained staff to harder jobs etc. Was still fun enough to keep me entertained for a while. Nice job!

Switchboard by James_7777 2026-04-21T01:20:38Z

Great game! Very moody and polished. Didn't understand what the tutorial meant about the connecting call at first, but understood after the first day. I swear Newgold warf isn't there. I looked for several minutes and couldn't find it. Also a bold font would make a big difference in readability. Missed the good ending by one call! Nice work

First Contact 3000 by 23edsa 2026-04-22T19:22:49Z

I always love a game where I get full resell value so I can reconfigure things. Adjacency bonuses are fun, though the UI for explaining and showing active bonuses could use some work so players can tell more easily from a glance what bonuses each building is getting, and what productivity/consumption actually mean. Music and sounds are simple but effective, didn't get tired of the music for my 10 mins of gameplay. Progression is paced well, finished before I got bored. Nice work!

Pouring Rain by T C 2026-04-22T02:18:29Z

Looks and sounds great, very impressive for a jam, you managed to get a lot of content in! I bounced off a couple of the puzzles, but I appreciate your guide to help me progress without investing too much time. Great work!

TranscendAnts by JudJudson 2026-04-21T03:27:44Z

Very unique and fun game! I had trouble figuring out how to complete the objectives, but it was fun trying to keep my ants fed and send soldier ants toward the enemies. nice work!

SOS by dan-whiffing 2026-04-22T03:36:58Z

@excitemike Thanks for playing! Two clues are in each room. The west room has the dripping pipe, and the different sized rocks. The east room has the blinking light and the wall graffiti

SOS by dan-whiffing 2026-04-22T13:13:33Z

@dzejpi Sorry to hear you had trouble! I tested on Windows chrome and didn't have a pointer lock issue, go figure :/ Glad you were able to get it working on osx. It is a bit challenging, but good to hear the presentation was enough to keep you going.

I'm a big fan of r3f over godot/unity/unreal. Comparatively very light weight, with the trade off of having to build more things yourself. Using triplex in vs code gives you a visual editor, though it can be rough around the edges. Give it a shot and see if you like it! It's nice having web builds that are only a few megabytes

SOS by dan-whiffing 2026-04-23T12:31:44Z

@yarcha thanks for playing! You don't need to understand morse code to play. Each location has graffiti on the wall indicating different letters you need. Quincy's responses can be read to see how to do other letters. Since the terminal doesn't restrict you, you can tap out whatever you want to see what the letters are. Sorry you weren't able to enjoy it!

SOS by dan-whiffing 2026-04-23T17:42:57Z

@jerrywest Thanks for playing! It's a puzzle game, not a "Write down what you see on the wall" game. In level 3, the terminal will respond with "What is here". The letters you see on the wall are a clue to help you know how to write the answer. You'll have to use what you learned from level 1 and 2 as well.

SOS by dan-whiffing 2026-04-25T15:43:49Z

@pixel-studios Thanks! You don't need to know morse code, the game shows you all the letters you need to win. it's a environmental puzzle game, not a morse code test.

SOS by dan-whiffing 2026-05-07T19:09:08Z

@baturinsky I honestly thought I had! Thanks for the reminder. Appreciate your feedback, was trying to make an environmental puzzle game on top of the morse code stuff, but I understand that I was not successful in making that part of the game interesting. Leaning more into learning morse code is a good suggestion.

GG! Great vibes and sound. I struggled with some of the areas, but was interested enough to keep trying. I liked how you played with player instincts to keep me second guessing what to do. There's maybe a few too many giant chambers that you just have to run through. Great work overall

rescue signal by OldDog 2026-04-22T03:35:34Z

Progression feels off, took way too many loops to get to level 2. You should get more miners to rescue as you rescue them so you aren't punished for buying more oxygen. It's fun and straightforward to play though, nice job!

Cabined by TheSecondLeft 2026-04-22T02:55:14Z

Straightforward, but polished and fun! Really loved the graphics and animations, everything felt good. Loved the hotdog guy up top :D Nice job

Hold The Signal by Dywanix 2026-04-22T03:10:04Z

A little bit slow, a bit frustrating having to pick between currency and standing in wifi signals, since I can't tell how much signal is helping my damage. Always appreciate a speed up button in tower defense games, and I think currency should be auto collected. Good job participating and finishing a TD game!

Space Supremacy by Pixel Studios 2026-04-21T03:41:11Z

A little basic, but a cute adventure that doesn't overstay its welcome. Graphics are simple but effective. Nice job!

traceroute by wles 2026-04-21T03:14:37Z

Nice work! Cohesive graphics and approachable gameplay. The camera drifts around a bit too much in a way that hurts your ability to aim. I also thought 3 seconds was a bit long for switching nodes. Other than that, feels pretty good!

(Un)Authorized by Byte Bark 2026-04-22T19:33:30Z

Interesting concept, just needs a bit more UI refinement to make the systems clearer to the player. It didn't take long to figure out what the game wanted me to do, but I had to struggle with the UI a bit to actually implement my plan. Music/sound effects could use some volume normalization. Seems unnecessary to have to wait to grab or attach signals. And annoying that I lose a signal when I use it and have to grab it again in the same level. Overall, an ambitious and innovative idea that just needs a bit more polish. Nice work for a jam!

Space Narwhal's Impeccable Directions by Aster24 2026-04-22T03:00:05Z

I was a little confused by what to do, but I seemed to progress by touching the ships, so I did that! Very cute art, love the narwhal!

phone home by ikado 2026-04-21T00:48:30Z

Very cute graphics and nice music! Gameplay is simple, but since you kept it short, it doesn't wear out its welcome. nice job!

Unstable Internet by Lemma 2026-04-21T03:46:19Z

Neat concept, was fun exploring and finding the different enemies. They were a bit tanky so it felt a bit tedious trying again after my first failure. The music is interesting, almost hypnotic and disorienting. Good work

Red Light Green Light With Teeth by PastMoments 2026-04-21T03:37:59Z

Good use of sound, and its fun trying to run in time and manage the sprint. The platforming was pretty rough but other than that I had fun! Good job

Tooth Fairy by FLemming1k 2026-04-21T00:59:52Z

Very interesting game! The brush your teeth level almost made me rage quit until i saw the toothbrush appear in the mirror. cool use of mixed media and lots of fun surprises. nice job!

Into The Nightmare by snk 2026-04-22T19:03:08Z

Cool game! I liked that you added an opening cutscene to give broader context. Was disorienting trying to navigate the maze, and the delayed flashlight is a nice touch. I think the beeps lead me straight to my actual goal without helping me navigate, which makes sense, but is a bit frustrating for larger levels with dead ends. Was fun kiting the bad guy and the sound effects are well down. Overall, nice cohesive entry!
