This game seemed quite fun and simple to me! Perhaps initially, in its concept, it was far from ideal, since it’s literally designed to irritate rather than relax, although perhaps it wasn’t intended to be that way.

The game has a good interface overall, it’s intuitive, the sounds support the visuals, but playing on a touchpad is a real nightmare.

mcinnamoon 2026-10-19 21:34 ♥ 0

@nickelback Thanks for the feedback! We are so sorry you had to suffer through playing on a touchpad — honestly, we didn’t really think about touchpad users during development! 😅 But we're glad you enjoyed the interface, sounds, and the overall vibe, even if it's a bit irritating by design!

cptdrusha 2026-10-19 23:29 ♥ 2

Honestly, this is one of those games that sucked me in so much I forgot about everything else while playing.

So much variety and tons of content.

Amazing work, 100/10!

dagon 2026-10-20 13:24 ♥ 2

Really fun game tbh. I like how simple it is and how intuitive the mechanics are, I never tough I didn't knew what it had to be done. Solid entry!

vicoco 2026-10-20 13:28 ♥ 2

Absolute banger

danwhiffing 2026-10-20 19:27 ♥ 2

Simple but fun! Does a good job of adding new features at a regular basis to keep things varied. Presentation is pleasant and clean. I played on a trackpad so a bit of a carpal tunnel trigger.

Great job!

wouter52 2026-10-20 19:44 ♥ 2

Oh that became chaotic very fast haha, but I loved it! I did not get the reference why there where sheep on the screen though? Is that some pop-culture I'm not familiar with? The leaderboard got some crazy scores btw, people really seem to enjoy this one 😄

Btw, congratz on your first LD entry! How was the weekend? Hopefully not too stressful?

parxer 2026-10-20 19:58 ♥ 2

Cool idea, well polished, great pacing!

helgust 2026-10-20 21:41 ♥ 2

really like how simple and addictive it is at the same time! The level of polish is amazing! The tutorial, the music, the impact of every click: chef’s kiss!

If anyone asks me what kind of game they should make for a jam, I’ll show them this one!

eugenik 2026-10-20 23:41 ♥ 2

I really loved how the game leaned into the chaos of a freezing, overwhelmed computer. The progression from simple file management to the full system meltdown is brilliantly timed and makes the whole experience surprisingly satisfying.

yanruyi 2026-10-21 06:03 ♥ 2

The tension is really strong! It reminds me of being a kid and getting bombarded with pop-up ads while using my desktop computer hahaha. You really nailed the atmosphere!

slay-a-stone 2026-10-21 18:42 ♥ 2

Really enjoyed it, the difficulty scaling felt right. Some popups really surprised me so good job :D.

Maybe would have been nice to put a password popup more early in the game, it took me out out of the flow when I suddenly had to type, but maybe that was intended :)

rogaven 2026-10-21 18:51 ♥ 2

Graphics and sound effects are really nice. It's clear how to play, and the leaderboard makes you want to give it another try. Enjoyed it.

alexey-kuzovkov 2026-10-21 18:54 ♥ 2

I was looking for a game with old windows aesthetics and here it is. Nice approach to merge mechanics. I also enjoyed all the chaos happening on screen. Kinda reminds me of my first PC when it caught a virus. Great game!

mcinnamoon 2026-10-21 19:53 ♥ 0

@slay-a-stone I struggled with those passwords too, to be honest. I actually asked to make them shorter or simpler so they wouldn't be such a distraction, but our game designer insisted those are specific, popular passwords. He said we can't change them without losing a piece of the vibe

johncoffee 2026-10-21 19:58 ♥ 2

good game, the password thing has no obvious explanation for me, what should one do there? otherwise good game, well done.

fis 2026-10-21 20:00 ♥ 2

Very funny game - I reached a score of 8488. Well done!

darkshadow 2026-10-21 20:13 ♥ 2

Love the idea, nice polish, the sheep made me laugh reminds me of that old cat/dog desktop toy. Really fun and you got the difficulty curve just right. The busted old computer, makes me think of the IT crowd the bit where Roy is shocked by Jen's computer! Best entry I've played so far.

mcinnamoon 2026-10-21 20:45 ♥ 0

@wouter52 Glad you liked it! As for the sheep, there's no deep reference or anything, our game designer just added them just for fun haha.

Also, while I was taking screenshots during final hour right before submission, I accidentally ended up scoring 11,000. I think they might still be in the top rankings!

And thank you for the congratulations! The weekend was super intense and pretty stressful, to be honest, but seeing people enjoy it makes it totally worth it.

thatfirey 2026-10-21 20:53 ♥ 2

Very fun, unique and intense game, really puts all the early internet skills of avoiding fake download buttons and me never managing my desktop to the test. Great job!

welovegames 2026-10-22 05:45 ♥ 2

Babysitting a dying PC has no right to be this much fun! The constant interruptions turn it into a hilarious juggling act, and the little desktop details give it so much personality.

pazio-di-dante 2026-10-22 10:00 ♥ 2

My man, this game is awesome!!! This is how my actual job feels, but better :D Really nice work on sounds and effects. Satisfying! 10/10 P.S. My wife also love it, she will play it on iPad now.

perrarancino 2026-10-22 14:31 ♥ 2

a desktop that fills with pop-ups until you get the blue screen is a great way to make old tech feel like a boss fight. the drag-and-drop file merging sounds simple but the chaos ramps fast, judging by the comments. i like that only one x is real - that's evil in the best way. someone said it's a carpal tunnel trigger on a trackpad, which i believe. did you ever consider a touchpad-friendly mode or is the suffering the point?

fifut 2026-10-22 14:48 ♥ 2

I really enjoyed playing your game. Everything is really great. Congratulations! 👍

arbuz322 2026-10-22 14:59 ♥ 0

@perrarancino Thanks, really glad you liked it! The fake X’s were made with love 😈

Honestly, we didn’t think about touchpads at all during the jam, we were all playing with a mouse. So for now, consider the trackpad version a free hard mode XD

If the game catches on and people want it, we’ll make a version for touchpads, phones and tablets. Thanks for playing!

nyla-j 2026-10-23 04:30 ♥ 1

ADDICTED! Such a fun game with so many cute graphics. Love the audio and gameplay

milq 2026-10-23 07:40 ♥ 1

Super fun concept, great job! The teal retro desktop, pixel icons, scanline feel and clean RAM meter in the taskbar make the merging idea instantly clear and satisfying. Beautiful, cohesive style. Brilliant stuff, keep it up!

alexascher 2026-10-23 09:54 ♥ 1

It’s got such a cozy, nostalgic vibe. I used to have a computer with 256 MB of RAM. I never let things get quite that bad, of course, but I definitely had to do some serious optimization.

Cool game! Lots of mechanics, maybe even a bit too many ^^ Unfortunately, I couldn’t get very far; my brain just starts to overheat

myheadmess 2026-10-23 16:16 ♥ 1

I loved it ! simple and easy to play and very challenging too ! Gg !

metalgear 2026-10-23 17:16 ♥ 1

Well made game, I didn't expect such level of details and polishing. Really enjoyed playing.

silas-reinagel 2026-10-24 01:31 ♥ 1

Super fun! I was in the zone!

The built-in teaching was perfect. The pacing is just right. The sound and music gave such a vibe.

I love this! Favorite game I played so far this jam!

aterim 2026-10-24 09:56 ♥ 1

This is really great!

If I didn't know, I wouldn't even guess this was a jam game made in just 3 days. The production quality is that good.

The only thing is, the first time the screen froze, I got confused about the refresh thing. I thought something had broken and restarted the game instead. 🙃

I also think it would be cool to add different modes in the future. Someone mentioned that they liked the current pace, while I'd prefer something a bit slower. A sort of Zen mode where you can take your time and just enjoy the game

nikiroz 2026-10-24 16:41 ♥ 2

Fun game! Gets pretty challenging at times, but I like it!

hinamarina 2026-10-25 00:05 ♥ 0

Haha! That truly made me laugh! 😃 Really funny little concept, quite challenging. The sheeps and pop ups were a really funny thing XD The sound design with the little clicks felt quite nice, the UI interface is also quite responsive so made the gameplay very enjoyable. I could lose hours to this little game! :) Great work, thank you for the game!

turbolaser 2026-10-25 11:15 ♥ 1

I love merge games, and the vibe of old-school Windows is captured perfectly!

pan-pan 2026-10-25 17:49 ♥ 1

This game is SO addictive! 😭❤️ It's cozy, cute, and such a fun little trip back to the days of old computers. I love the idea of managing files, creating archives, and trying to survive with only 256 MB of RAM. 😂 The pop-ups are evil, the desktop is chaotic, and somehow I keep wanting to play more. Just one more file... just one more CD... OH NO, THE RAM IS FULL! Such a charming and clever little game. Great job ^^ I REALLY LOVED IT

tanjou 2026-10-25 17:57 ♥ 1

Truly a 5 out of 5 game here. Absolutely incredible experience, extremely addictive. AMAZING

ao-85 2026-10-25 19:51 ♥ 1

This is a very beautiful game. I love the sound, art, and smoothness. Despite its simplicity, the game is engaging and interesting. I ask you not to abandon this idea but to implement it as an incremental game with upgrades. This genre is currently selling well, and considering your style, I think this game will find many players and fans. It's awesome I'm very satisfied.

alexandru-barbanoua 2026-10-25 22:04 ♥ 0

Great game! I've already seen something similar before, but I still really enjoyed the gameplay. It gets more intense and stressful with every second, which makes it even more fun! Really nice work!

mcinnamoon 2026-10-26 10:50 ♥ 1

@alexandru-barbanoua If it comes back to you, please let us know! We definitely didn't reference this anywhere. Our gamedesigner must have channeled this idea straight from space, he-he
