Your game reminded me of 10 Second Ninja. I love games like this!

And overall, the game is already really cool, especially considering it's a jam version. But if you decide to keep working on it, there are a few things I'd like to point out:

- The keyboard controls aren't very comfortable. Someone mentioned above that it feels great with a gamepad, but I didn't have a chance to try that myself. - The difference between a low jump and a high jump is way too subtle. On the level where this mechanic is introduced, I died at least 5-7 times just because the character wouldn't do a low jump, no matter how quickly I released the jump key. - The movement doesn't feel smooth enough, in my opinion. In a game where every second counts, it's important to minimize the moments when you get caught on the level geometry. - The timer should start when the character starts moving, not right at the beginning of the level. - As others have already mentioned, some tapes in the early levels are impossible to reach without rewinding, which hasn't been introduced yet at that point. It feels frustrating, more like a level design mistake.

Anyway, I really hope you keep working on it and release it!

RAM256 by Arbuz322 2026-10-24T09:56:31Z ♥ 1

This is really great!

If I didn't know, I wouldn't even guess this was a jam game made in just 3 days. The production quality is that good.

The only thing is, the first time the screen froze, I got confused about the refresh thing. I thought something had broken and restarted the game instead. πŸ™ƒ

I also think it would be cool to add different modes in the future. Someone mentioned that they liked the current pace, while I'd prefer something a bit slower. A sort of Zen mode where you can take your time and just enjoy the game

Tape On! by Hinamarina 2026-10-22T23:58:44Z ♥ 0

Great project!

As others have already mentioned, I think the shadow mechanic could be simplified a bit, but otherwise, great job.

I also ran into a couple of bugs while playing:

- Once, after turning on all the TVs, not all the shadows disappeared, and I got killed on the victory screen. - On another bonus level, the game counted it as completed after I collected the tapes, but before I inserted them (Although maybe that's not a bug, but just how bonus levels work)

The voice acting is fantastic! :)

I think this kind of game would be especially fun to play in multiplayer with friends.

Overdub by Stefan B. 2026-10-22T23:13:55Z ♥ 0

The game looks great, and you can tell a lot of care went into making it. But honestly, I couldn't figure it out. =\

I mean, I understood the general idea, but as soon as I picked up the radio, my movement became limited to 100 units, even though I hadn't started recording anything. And I couldn't seem to drop it to move around as freely as I did before picking it up.

I'm not sure if I missed something or if I ran into a bug.

Janitorial duties by duudel 2026-10-22T22:50:44Z ♥ 0

Am I right in thinking there are only 3 rooms in the game so far?

It would be cool if the rooms were connected to some kind of visible overall goal. For example, when you complete a room, a glowing line could extend from it to some kind of altar. And once all 3 lines are lit up, an artifact appears on the altar. Or something like that.

Anyway, good luck with the project!

The Abacus: Hellraiser by Maksim Terskov 2026-10-22T01:30:21Z ♥ 1

The production quality is really impressive. You wouldn't even guess you're playing a jam demo.

The music, the art, everything is great and really polished.

Mad respect! :)

Ps: The only thing is, your icon makes it seem like what's behind it is a generic horror game rather than an awesome rhythm dungeon crawler 😁 Easy to scroll past without noticing it!

Observatory 85 by pro4 2026-10-22T01:01:28Z ♥ 1

Such a pleasant game!

Personally, I'd love to see some collectibles added in the future. They could also make it a bit easier to find your way around.

I hope you keep working on the project after the jam!

🐭Squeak to the Beat!🎡 by Shivvvy 2026-10-22T00:49:02Z ♥ 0

That's a pretty original idea! I can't remember if I've ever seen a rhythm game with a knitting theme before.

I liked it.

Beauty Gears: Makeover! by dismox 2026-10-22T00:35:15Z ♥ 0

The graphics and animations are really cool, of course!

I personally felt like the polishing mechanic lacked a bit of impact - they looked the same before and after polishing. (Might be a bug since I played the web version, or just a trade-off of this jam version, but it’s a minor thing.)

And wow, you have so many different robots! It was fun looking through them.

old-tech-recovery by MK-Dustan 2026-10-21T21:14:12Z ♥ 0

This is really great! And I mean that even without making any allowances for it being a jam version. Honestly, you could release it on Google Play right now.

Personally, I'd love to see a little tutorial section to help players ease into the game. I also feel like bosses and some enemies could have a less HP, at least in the early stages of the game.

Anyway, great job, and good luck with the project!

I was so close to 2nd place! :)

Really cool take on Snake! The music and graphics are great, had a blast playing it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I realized the asteroids and Earth weren't just shown on the radar, but were actually visible in space too.

That was fun!

Flash Smash by CUB3D 2026-10-21T19:47:11Z ♥ 0

Choosing Flash to make a game for this jam is a 5-star theme fit in itself πŸ˜€

Well, looks like I didn't get eaten after all :) Really interesting game! It's very well put together, and the art direction deserves a special mention.

Necropolis by amkingTRP 2026-10-21T13:43:02Z ♥ 1

Well, that was a short but fun little adventure! It reminded me of an old game called Knytt.

The controls could be a bit more responsive, and it'd be great! Also, as someone mentioned above, it'd be nice to have A/D as alternative movement keys, and W and the up arrow to jump.

Either way, great job! I'd love to see more of this game!

Textolite by perrarancino 2026-10-21T13:01:54Z ♥ 2

Looks awesome, and moving around feels really nice. Falling from high places is pretty funny :) The only thing is, having to start all over again after dying felt a little punishment πŸ₯²

Nightcall by Cahard 2026-10-21T12:23:19Z ♥ 2

I've played a few games with similar mechanics in this jam, but I think yours feels the best out of all of them.

As others have mentioned, there's a bit of a difficulty spike around levels 4–5, but that's a minor issue. It's understandable for a game jam version.

If you decide to keep working on this project, I'd personally suggest not focusing too much on the speed and volume of incoming calls. Except for occasional special events, like a disaster in the city that suddenly makes everyone call each other at once. Personally, I think a slower-paced gameplay style could work better here. You could add more little puzzles and maybe an overarching mystery or detective story. For example, the operator accidentally overhears a strange conversation and gets drawn into some mysterious case...

Anyway, I think there are still plenty of interesting things you could do with this idea!

Rise from the Heap by ewpratten 2026-10-20T23:03:21Z ♥ 0

The Rat King was too tough for me 😬

Other than that, it's a fantastic game! Really enjoyed exploring the world.

Detech by ivankrivenko 2026-10-20T22:29:19Z ♥ 1

The destruction of boxes and enemies feels really satisfying! And the flying gears and bolts reminded me of that old game based on the Robots movie.

I love deckbuilders! Really enjoyed playing this one.

An Old Joke by DazyLude 2026-10-20T21:38:49Z ♥ 3

A millennial would probably ask at the end, "Oh, do you know Jean-CLAUDE Van Damme?!" πŸ™ƒ

Really enjoyed playing through the game!

Old Specks by Pikario 2026-10-20T21:25:04Z ♥ 6

Oh, that's awesome! The graphics and sound are both great. Everything feels so cohesive and well put together.

*Inflation has even reached "42"... πŸ˜‚

The Boolean algebra puzzles make you feel like a real engineer :) Great job!

THE LAST WORD by Chef 2026-10-20T20:56:43Z ♥ 3

A lot of people have already mentioned it, but the visuals really are awesome! The sound design is great too.

And the game as a whole is really well put together. It's just a pleasure to play!

Carbineball by Antti Haavikko 2026-10-20T20:34:07Z ♥ 0

pin.png I haven't quite figured out all the bonuses yet, but I really like how the game feels and looks!

P.S. I changed my name, but the leaderboard still shows me as Anon πŸ€”

KickBack by ElyaWithDashifts 2026-10-20T19:56:12Z ♥ 4

kaber.png For some reason, the keyboard doesn't work when I first start the game. Nothing happens no matter what I press. After a while, an error pops up, and then the game works fine.

Other than that, the gunplay feels really satisfying, and the variety of perks makes it a lot of fun. I especially laughed at the perk that turns the game into a silent movie πŸ˜‚

Ghost Train by Koolruz 2026-10-20T19:14:45Z ♥ 1

DEATHpng.png 290 of those were probably on level 5 🫠

But seriously, I really enjoyed the game! It felt like a fully finished game rather than just a game jam prototype.

And I especially loved the graphics. I'm a big fan of this kind of minimalist pixel art.

Everything is really well done, and the idea is great!

Light Seeker by ingi 2026-10-20T12:01:41Z ♥ 1

1111.jpg

I got the blue speed boost block and fell, but the plug that raised the bridge was stuck somewhere off-screen above, so I couldn't lower it again. Either I'm missing something, or I managed to softlock myself =/

Still, as my friend mentioned above, it's a great game!

Hold, Please! by artemco 2026-10-20T10:30:48Z ♥ 2

I agree with one of the previous comments. It'd be nice if the first calls came in a bit slower, just to give you some time to get into the flow. But it's a really cool idea!

Broken, Repair! by dagon 2026-10-20T10:04:35Z ♥ 1

Feels really satisfying! The sounds and animations are spot on, and every action feels impactful. πŸ‘

Mr. Duck by emrod 2026-10-20T09:27:25Z ♥ 4

It took me a while to get into the rhythm. Maybe I'm just getting old and my reflexes aren't what they used to be :), but personally, I'd prefer the rewind to be a little slower so I could have more control over what's happening.

That said, everything is really well done! The visuals, sound, style... The overall production quality is great!

Pigeon Post by Ronalchue 2026-10-20T08:53:19Z ♥ 1

We were surprised too! Turns out we're not the only pigeon post game in this jam :)
