Neat controls, gj
I like the premise, but the controls are a bit frustrating to make me want to keep going on the loop. Maybe make the controls a bit more responsive/friendly and keep the focus more on getting better upgrades each loop
Thanks for the comments ! the controls are part of the challenge ig :p
Also for the void clock you should have a small hint to it's location at each run start!!
Thanks for playing

Agree with the other comments, the controls (while a challenge) are too frustrating. There's a loop and I'd like to get further but the controls are a turn off.
Unlike the comments above I actually found the controls perfectly fine, that is, until you upgrade the speed a few times. Then things get a little hard to manoeuvre in tight spaces. My only issue is there didn't seem to be an endgame, or if there is I gave up before reaching it, and I did play for quite some time. In other areas the audio and graphics are great. Good stuff :8ball:
I really like tank-style controls, I think there are a lot of gameplay things you can do with the limitations it imposes. Some space games will give the character more momentum, so that it's possible to go a large distance on a small amount of fuel, if you're good at conserving movement. This game has less of that (because of the ship's high friction), but it's still fun flying around and dodging the asteroids.
The synthy music is cool, especially the menu theme.
Great work. This is a solid game. The graphics and audio are really polished. I liked the background synth music. I wasn't the biggest fan of the controls. I felt like I was always turning too much. But maybe that's a skill issue. The basic game-play loop of head out to collect things, return to hub to invest what you've collected, and repeat is a solid formula. I would have liked to see things evolve in the world a bit. Like more challenging obstacles, or maybe some enemies you need to avoid. But there's only so much you can get done in 48 hours. Overall a really solid game. Congratulations!
Stellar ;) job on the audio and visuals. I really enjoyed the gameplay loop although I agree the controls were a little too sloppy. I liked that the controls were not entirely straightforward, but I think a little more damping on the rotation would make it more fun. I sometimes found myself just flying around empty areas for too long as well, so some kind of indication about where things are might be helpful. Nice work all around, one of my favorites I've played so far this jam.
This is a really cute game; I'm a fan! The controls were a little tough once speed was boosted a bit, but I didn't find it to be too bad; just made for some strategizing. The music and audio were also very well done. If I had one critique, it's that I found it a bit annoying that items would spawn on top of meteors, making them impossible to get without taking damage. If there's any way to fix that collision, that would be nice. Good job!
Loved the background track, really nicely done.
Always enjoy games where I get to fly around in a spaceship. One thing that felt a bit off is how quickly the ship came to a halt when I let off the gas, but aside from that personal hitch, really solid!
Lovely entry this! :) Great audio, ship feels a little drifty on the turn but a lot of charm here and enjoyed the hint at the start of each level :D
That was pretty funny game :3
Nice music, mix of upgrading and collecting was kinda nice! (very similar to what I did but all your stuff actually works. ;-) )))) haha
What a good entry, nice little salvage game. I didn't find the controls as bad as the others, but maybe thats just me. Can see myself coming back to this. Well done!
Nice soothing resource management game. I wasn't sure what the green stuff to pick up was, but after sorting out how to get the clocks (quick enough but I died once before I got there), it became pretty straightforward to coast around collecting stuff. Thanks for sharing, I had fun with it!
Cool game. The graphics were nice and the ship handled quite well. Not a fan of the unexplained blink-and-you'll-miss-it essential information of where to find the hourglass. Having to locate a thingy is fine but that was not a good mechanic. If it at least stayed on until you move it would not be so missable. Some kind of radar system would have been nice though, and it really needed a restart button for when you do fail. The upgrades were rather sparse, while there is tons of fairly useless hull upgrades (rocks are easy to avoid), I only ever saw one fuel cell over several launches. Almost missed the go to the depths of space button. It should probably say somewhere how much you need to collect as it felt there was no real goal.
Nice, game overall! I think you could've let deceleration a little bit slower to meke it feel more space-y. I noticed there is light around the ship and it gives a nice effect when you get near the rocks, I think it would have been better if the overall look was a little bit darker so we could see the light. I also think time crystal is not a good mechanic, since you have to waste fuel to get it everytime and it doesn't add any fun elements. Well made regardless :o:
I actually quite liked the controls here. Though I think reversing could be a little quicker. Took me a little bit to figure out that the light shows me where should I go for the clock, so, first couple of plays, I was just collecting stuff and then ran out of energy. But in the retrospective, it's kinda obvious hint, though never hurts to communicate it better for smooth (or tired) brains. Music is pretty good too! All in all, quite a nice entry, but I would focus a little bit more on explaining mechanics so that players can get into the game right away.
